Delivered From All Evil
The Lord will deliver me from every evil
work, and will save me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be the glory for ever
and ever. Amen. 2 Timothy 4:18 Paul had confidence that the Lord would deliver him from
all evil, no matter what he went through. Blessed promises from our Lord, for
all the Saints still holds true today. If we go through the fire, He is there
with us and will see us through. Even though they may try to kill us and/or
destroy our testimony, God is there with us and nothing that we suffer for His
sake goes un-noticed. Paul stressed that "Through many tribulations we
must enter into the kingdom of God" (Acts 14:22). In God's Kingdom
we shall be free, for no evil shall inherit the kingdom. There in that eternal
Kingdom Jesus reigns and will put all enemies under His foot. Like Paul, I
foresee a higher and more exalted kingdom of the future. Get ready to live with
Christ our Lord in that land of eternal day. Glory, honor and Praise to God our King.

The Great Architect
For every house is built by some man; but he
that built all things is God.-Hebrews 3:4 I love building structures of homes and buildings,
especially in historic sections of a town. The beautiful work of a master architect
is displayed for many years to come when a pattern is constructed well. Beautiful as
they are, they seem to change from year to year and we sometimes miss the older
ones that were displayed so pretty. God is the Master architect of everything, and He does all
things well. No doubt it was He who gave many their earthly pattern. We see Him
in so many of our daily life events. The beautiful mountains, the evening
sunset and the tall trees of the forest. God is the number one designer and we
enjoy His displays, beautiful love and mercy daily.

Pray Everyday
And he spoke a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. -Luke 18:1 Prayer makes the difference in one's life. You can soar on wings like eagles, and run and not grow weary. You can walk and not be faint. Prayer has power to set one free from bondage. Jesus commanded us to pray at all times. When we do not pray, we become very weak in spirit. When one prays they do not lose heart. The Lord will give mercy and pardon when we pray. The Son will set us free. It always makes a difference when our life is filled with prayer and praise. The days are brighter, and the load is lighter. Prayer is the key to all good things in this life for your brothers and sisters with their requests. With this in mind, let us always be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people.

Sing Praises to Our God
The Lord is worthy to be praised. Praise Him in the
mornings, noon and night. No one can keep us from praising God for He
continually lights up our soul. Praise is the normal thing for a Christian.
"Bless the Lord O my soul" Bless and praise the Lord in songs and hymns. Sing praises
to God our King, for He reigns forever more. Psalm
34:1 " I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be
in my mouth." Bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me, bless
His Holy Name! A loving relationship with the Lord will bring praise to
our mouth.

The Midnight Call
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day
nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. -Matthew 25:13 The wise virgins slept and were prepared while the foolish
ones were not so wise and were not ready. These unwise virgins simply did not
work out their salvation with fear and trembling and the Lord commanded us to
do in Philippians 2:12. That's the way it is today as there are millions in the
same condition. They are members of the company called to meet the Bridegroom.
They have only a little oil for their lamps, but certainly not enough to meet the Bridegroom when He
comes. We must have oil in our lamps burning bright and clear. Jesus
told us to watch and be prepared. We will be wise to use these last day, golden
hours that precede the night in which no man can work. Let us always be alert
and not sleeping for the Son of man is coming in an hour when we think not. “Be
ready for the Bridegroom comes”.

Working Together For The Kingdom
And they beckoned to their partners in the
other boat, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both
the boats, so that they began to sink.-Luke 5:7 Such an astounding wonder we see here. The men were called
to become "fishers of men, but here God helped them to bring in a heap of
fish for themselves." They labored and worked together and brought in an
abundance. What would happen if all the Christians worked together in
unity of soul, mind and heart? I can only imagine how the churches would be
filled and needs would be met. God would be so pleased and fill us with His
glory! Great things are always accomplished when Christians work
together. Everyone pulling together and working in unity, will bring in many
souls for God's kingdom. How sweet this bond of perfectness,
The wondrous love of Jesus;
A pure foretaste of heaven’s bliss,
Oh, fellowship so precious!

Above Rubies
Who can find a virtuous woman, for her price
is far above rubies. -Proverbs 31:10
It does seem hard these days to find many good virtuous
women. I know there are some out there for my mother was one of them.
In the Hebrew
virtuous means a covering term suggesting character and ability. It's a heart
that her husband safely trusts and has absolute confidence in her faithfulness.
He is blessed by her tireless industry and she goes every
length to save money, even working willingly with her hands. We find no
laziness in this one. It's a woman who guides the household by providing
healthy foods and proper clothes.
She is one whose price is far above rubies, and more
valuable than the most precious stones. Sure hope every mother out there has a
very.....

Unwavering Faith
Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to him, we ask you not to be quickly shaken in your mind, nor yet be troubled. -2 Thessalonians 2:1-2 Paul urges them to continue on firm and dependable in the truth received. The same applies to us today as we live in a world full of sorrow and cares. We are not to be troubled for what God has said, He would do, and we can depend on it. Fret not for God is in control and His promises fail not. He will never leave or forsake His Children as they roam through this sinful world. Let your faith arise to levels unknown. Be steadfast, unbendable and unshakable in your faith, for the best is yet to come. We shall soon be gathered together in a world where there never comes a night. We will see Jesus and everything will be happiness there in that wonderful land! He will also strengthen you to the end, so that you will be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor. 1:8

Are You Storm-tossed
Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to
you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled,
neither let it be fearful. -John 14:27
Jesus told us to
not get annoyed, anxious and nervous, as we see all the unpleasant world
conditions. He fore-knew these days we are now living in. Almost everyday we
hear of so many threatening storms, wars, child abuse and so much more.
These things
were foretold many years ago, so we are not to let them disturb and cloud our
spirit.
Instead
we are to trust in the One who never fails with a constant, firm, unshakable
faith. He knows and sees everything that concerns our life, and will soon set
everything right. We can expect perfect peace when we rely and trust in God,
for His Word is true and will not fail.
