Water of Life
Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinks of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; But the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. -John 4: 13-14 Drinking From the Fountain Pure refreshing water Flowing from Thy Mountain Oh give me this water That I never thirst again
Water that we drink on earth Is sometimes short supplied Drink from water on high And you'll never more die Down from God's mountain Bubbling, water springs Crystal spouting waters Let me evermore drink
This water's never stagnant And never fears a drought This ever flowing water Is pure without a doubt
Pure refreshing water Flowing from God's Mountain Oh give me this water That I never thirst again ©Brenda A.07/30/07 The Bible says: he that believeth on me shall never thirst. John 6:36 Here, the fountain of water is an emblem of peace, happiness, plenty; and the essential thought in its flowing from the throne is, that all the happiness of heaven proceeds from God! Wonderful! Jesus is waiting to open the well of living water, which springs up to eternal life, of which if we drink we never thirst. This continuing water sheds its blessings on a world of sin and its end is everlasting life. Whosoever drinks of this shall never thirst, but it shall be in his heart a pure fountain springing up to eternal joy.
Water us daily with this life giving water

Meditation of Our Heart
"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord," -Psalm 19:4 Prayer of Humility Dear God, I know I often fail Sometimes my spirit is frail Guide me into things holy Let my words for You be boldly I do want to do what is right Let me be acceptable in thy sight I really need to be more humble And please forgive me when I grumble Let my faltering words and wandering thought To thy throne be brought Attempts without You are not bright Let me be Acceptable in thy sight Give me harmony of heart and lips Before some hasty word slips Let me meditate on Holy things Lift my heart on angel wings And then my devotions might Be acceptable in thy sight ©Brenda A.7/30/07 My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD. -Psalm 104:34 Words can hurt, and destroy peace and harmony in our life and with our relationship with God. When we have anger, do we find ourselves trembling or do we possess a peace that passes all understanding. Peace is the rights of God’s children. We can find joy when our hearts are fixed on him. This is one way we can please God and also make life easier for those around us

~BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE~ I often read in God's Holy Word Of a very special book. Have you heard? It brings great interest to my mind This Book of Remembrance It is for those that fear the Lord That speaks often of Him, in one accord Our Lord listens and hears it all Sp let your praises, on His ear fall We shall be His jewels in that great day. I wonder if my life will be full of good deeds Please don't let it be choked with weeds We are very much valued by God. It should not seem to be that odd I must think upon His name and fear Him Meditate on Him, so life’s road will not be dim Fear the Lord, think highly of Him. Read His Holy Word or sing a hymn Ponder His significance ways in our lives. For us God has pride, and in His children thrives Oh yes, God values us very much. Our chief joy should be feeling His touch We should give glory to His Name Never ever, bring Him shame Will God be pleased with the book of me? Morning Wings
My voice shall thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, And will look up. -Psalm 5:3 On the wings of the morning
As I start a brand new day Morning duties call, but I must pray I look up to my God in prayer I wait, knowing He will meet me there Early my petitions to Him bring And I joyfully talk to the King On the wings of the morning ************************* For the God of my salvation, I now wait Oh loving God, You are so great Heaven's gates are open wide Come oh Lord, and stand by my side I know you'll give a gracious answer I feel like a Heavenly dancer On the wings of the morning Many duties lie ahead this day Yet I cannot forget my Father's way It makes my day just a bit brighter So Lord, hold me close, just a little tighter Until your perfect sunlight rays Sets my soul ablaze On the wings of the morning ©Brenda L.A.7/26/07
"In the morning." This is the best time for fellowship with God. An hour in the morning is worth two in the evening. How easy it is to get busy with the morning chores that one forgets to fellowship with God. God is a friend that sticks closer than a brother and we need Him to make it through the day. Things go better when we take time with God early in the morning. Let us give to God the mornings of our days and the morning of our lives. Prayer should be the key of the day and the lock of the night. Devotion should be both the morning star and the evening star.

Sweet Holy Spirit
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? -Luke 11:13 Here the Holy spirit is promised to all children of God. All children of God are given the Spirit in a measure at the new birth, so what is this extra filling of the Spirit. This Spirit refers to the baptism that is full of endowment of power for service. The disciples received this power at Pentecost after they had been children of God for several years. Acts 1:4-8 -2:1-16 ~Fall Fresh On Me~ Power of the Holy Spirit Wonderful zeal, and refining power So gentle as a dove Fall fresh on me Life giving water and infinite power Seal me now this day and hour Fall down, as in a shower Fall fresh on me Oil of consecration and anointing power Redemptive and keeping Guiding me onward to heaven Fall fresh on me Our ownership and guarantying power As the rain with life giving quickening Refreshing dew and invigorating Fall fresh on me A Gift joyful and graciously accepted Liberating, Refreshing, Anointed And invigorating power Fall fresh on me Spirit of the Living God Fall fresh on me ©Brenda L.A.7/26/07

I Humbly Bow
Bow To God Now I humbly bow my knees to you dear God While on life's weary way I trod Fainting not at tribulations But in every situation Go on bended knees to God Knowing you will meet me there I willingly bow in prayer King Solomon bowed his knee Elijah bowed too, don't you see Stephen and Peter on their knees bowed Ezra and Daniel bowed and probably vowed Paul bowed his knees in prayer Knowing his God would meet him there Jesus my Lord humbly bowed too Now some may not want to bow in prayer They may be totally unaware That all will be forced in due time to bow As for me, I had rather bow now I really do not know how They will feel on that great day When every knee shall bow ©Brenda A. 7/25/07
.... I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Eph. 3:14 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Phil. 2:10
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

"In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
God has always revealed Himself to mankind through various means to show that He is our Creator, Lord, Redeemer and Master. He has made His will known to man from the beginning. There will be supreme happiness for one when following the will of God. When one learns of God in youth, God will direct their life. They will avoid many pitfalls. We can be assured of complete happiness and success too, when we follow God's leading. Brotherly Love
Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body. -Heb. 13
********************************* Many Christians claim to have a close walk with God, but then hold a grudge against their brother or sister. My friend, these things should not be so. The world is full of evil, and as Christians we should try to win the love of that one who is considered an enemy. God has provided Grace sufficient for each need. We can be overcomers with God's Love.
*************** Brotherly Love *********************************************** Let brotherly love continue Love for brothers Love for sisters Love for everyone Do not forget strangers For some have entertained angels Remember those in bondage Let brotherly love continue Do good, and communicate Bear reproach and go forward The Lord is our helper We boldly say God is pleased With our good deeds Let brotherly love continue The Lord is our helper ©Brenda A. 7/20/07

Forgiveness
Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you." -Eph. 4:32 God forgives us our own sin, so we should be conscious of the needs of kindness and consideration for others. It is only of God's tender loving mercy that we possess joy, peace and love from His marvelous grace. If one forgives freely they will also be freely forgiven. If one is stubborn and difficult and tends to hold grudges, they will find difficulty in obtaining forgiveness from God. How sad that would be. God in all His wisdom and love treats us much as we treat others, when it comes to forgiveness. Be kind one to another. The Comforter Come Holy Spirit, wrap me in your arms of love Oh how we long for an outpouring from above Make your abode in our hearts today Followers of love and power, for this we pray Our burdens on you we now lay Real Spirit of comfort. Israel to be Restored
Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence. And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. --Ezekiel 11: 16-21
God Will Restore Israel
-------------------------------------
God promised to Israel, He said, "I will restore" God's glory will shine once again, and forever more The covenant was made with Abraham For He is the Great I Am
The people now among the countries scattered Will one day be gathered home and no more battered Though now scattered among the Gentiles When God restores Israel from the further aisles
He is now with them in their little sanctuary Oh no, He is not their adversary While in these far off countries, His promises are the same I will give you the land, and be true to My Name.
When He gathers His people to their home With the Covenant renewed, they will never more roam All sin will be abolished forever more When they return home, forgotten will be the sins they bore
God's people will walk in His statues, and keep His law His spirit will then be poured out with a feeling of awe His people will be united in purpose and pride When God restores Israel, they will be His Bride
They will be empowered to maintain their righteousness There will be no more abominableness They will be given a new heart, - the stony one taken out When God restores Israel, - all will be victorious without a doubt ©Brenda A. 7/12/07

Nineveh Saved
The following poem is written by my husband, James Arthur. He was saved under this message as a teenager many years ago. He discusses this often and recently wrote this poem. Thank you Art Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me. But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD. But the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken. -Jonah 1 Jonah Went To Nineveh Now God spoke to Jonah, very long ago, And said "arise, and to Nineveh go. The city is great, but wicked and bad Oh, if they would repent, I would be so glad
But Jonah rose up, from God to flee, Went down to Tarshish, there by the sea. Bought himself a ticket, for a trip on the ship Jonah thought he was far out of God's grip.
But the Lord sent out a great wind; Against Jonah, the ship, and all the men. The men rowed hard, trying not to sink While Jonah was below, very fast asleep.
Then they awoke Jonah, and did cast a lot Saying, "Why Jonah, against God did you plot?" So they took up Jonah, and cast him into the sea Oh Jonah, Oh Jonah, from God you cannot flea
-------------------------------
Now God had prepared a mighty big fish Now this fish thought Jonah was a tasty dish But after three days and nights of this meal Out came Jonah, with a purpose still.
Arise; Go to Nineveh, the Lord did say again So Jonah went, and began to preach, against their sin. From the king, down to the cattle, they all did fast Because Jonah went, they did repent, and had revival at last.

Rose of Sharon
1 I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys. 2 As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters. - Song of Solomon 2 I am totally consumed by His love. There is no other one like Him, the Sweet Rose of Sharon. I have been consumed by Him since youth, but as time progress, our love grows sweeter and I depend on Him more now than ever before. I was inspired to write the following poem, about His love. Rose of Sharon
As I gaze upon your glory Drinking in Your beauty rare Sweet Rose of Sharon Thou art so fair
As the lily among the thorns Blossom in my soul Sweet Rose of Sharon You, my heart have stole Sweet love at the banqueting house
Spread out your banner of love Oh Sweet Rose of Sharon Embrace my soul, Sweet Holy Dove Thy countenance is comely Sweet is thy voice, Oh, my Sweet Rose of Sharon Until day break, you are my choice Comfort me with thy Love Until the shadows flee Oh My Sweet Rose of Sharon I am totally consumed by Thee ©Brenda A. 7/16/07 Inspired by Song of Solomon 2

Drop Down
Drop Down Ye Heavens Drop down ye heavens, down from above We see displayed your mighty love Drop down ye heavens down from above Send forth your righteousness like a dove
Drop down ye heavens, pour down righteousness Let all the world see thy splendid bless Come down, come down, down from on high Let thy righteousness pour down from your sky
Drop down ye heavens, our prayer to thee The Lord is our maker. Let the whole world see From the rising of the sun, and from the West Drop down ye heavens, let creation be blessed.

I am the LORD, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil:
I the LORD do all these things. Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it. I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. --Various verses from Isaiah 45

The Mystery
Great is the Mystery And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. -1 Timothy 3:16 Mighty is our Lord. His way is beyond our knowledge. We must give reference to God and not have a form of Godliness and deny the powers thereof. 2 Timothy 3:5 His love passes all knowledge that we might be filled with the fullness of God. Eph. 3:19 He is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. 1 Peter 3:22 Yes it is a great mystery of the Christian faith. He was manifested in the flesh: Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14 Justified in the Spirit -That is divine vindication - Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. 1Peter 3: 22 Oh, to know the love of Christ, which passes all knowledge, that we might be filled with all the fullness of God. Eph 3:19He was manifested in the flesh: He is Immanuel! God with us! Hallelujah! Isaiah 7:14 Seen of angels. – Oh what Divine revelation. Preached unto the Gentiles. Seen of Angels - Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ that was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. 1 Peter 1: 10-12. What a mystery! There is great importance of the faith preached by the Christian church. This is the truth. Should we fail the Christian faith will be hindered. Christ is believed on in the world - divine propagation - And came and preached peace to you that were afar off, and to them that were nigh. Eph. 2:17 He was preached unto the Gentiles - There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Gal. 3:28 Every nation must hear this great news of the gospel. Proclaim it. We labor and suffer reproach often because we trust in the living God. Great divine fullness. How great to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. Eph 3:19 Received up into Glory – Wonderful divine ascension and exaltation! When the time was come that he should be received up, he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem, Luke 9:51 Who can know His ways. They are past finding out. Yes He was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. -Mark 16:19. The same human body and nature God was manifest in was resurrected and received up to glory. These divine phases of the mystery of godliness form one complete whole concerning the redemption of all things. No single part is now a mystery, for all have been made clear by many scriptures Yield your life completely to Him. As He was seen going up He will come again. This is the salvation of which the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: 1 Peter 1:10. We have His Promise. He will come back again just as He was seen going away! ©Brenda A7/10/07 Mystery: something previously hidden, but now fully revealed. In the N. T. It always means any doctrine that has not, in former times, been made fully known to men. It is found 27 times in the N. T. and not once in the O. T. There are 18 mysteries of Scripture. Sweet Holy Spirit
PROMISE OF THE SPIRIT And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. -Joel - 2
But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them. -Luke 24:29 Promise from My father Luke 24: 29. Lord send us your Spirit. We continually praise and bless you God. We are thirsty Lord. Let us tarry in your presence Lord. As a heavy rain, may we feel the over flow of your power
Rain down upon us and fill us to the brim. Unite us with your spirit to establish your Church. Like a mighty rushing wind, send Your Power. We thirst Lord!
Overflowing love will begin to spread and others will then be drawn to you. Help us to repent and be filled. Baptize us in your spirit as in the Upper Room. Fill us Lord! We Thirst!
Message of hope we have from You! - " I will pour out my spirit on your sons and your daughters". What a promise! Help us, by Your Spirit to spread your love to all the nations. Let us not grow cold and indifferent.
I will pour out my spirit in those days." This is the promise. This spirit will usher in your blessed Kingdom age. The great outpouring of Your Spirit was on the day of Pentecost and many years later it will also be poured out again.
Send down your Sweet Holy Spirit Lord. We long to see your power. Send the promise of the Father. Let us be your witness. The future will see it for it is in Your Word, "This promise is to our children" End time days are upon us now so we need a double portion of your Spirit Lord. Like the mighty Niagara, pour out your living water on us for we thirst. We need this same spirit, which was poured out in the Upper Room. We wait for this Spirit Lord. Fill us for we are thirsty.

Deep Sleep
And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days. And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together. And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead. And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him. When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed. And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted. The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.-Acts 20: 6-12 & 2 Timothy 4:13 kjv
Awake From Deep Sleep
Down in the City of Troas, the seaport by the sea Paul was on a visit, in service to be Paul there preached the gospel, God' Word. Some folks there no doubt had never heard Now they were in for an all night treat Anxious to hear love's story sweet Carried away it seemed Paul must have been This story he told, about his dearest friend Along about midnight, there was a loud noise Oh no, one was asleep, it was not all joys For there in the window, he tumbled out The young man, Eutychus was now dead no doubt. While there Paul left with Carpus, his cloak, and books He did not depend upon his good looks You see Paul's parchment was very special. No doubt it was his Bible, very beneficial. He needed these after his leave In prison no doubt again he did grieve Now are you sunken down, sluggish saint In deep sleep, oh do not faint. Awake my friend, for there is still life You must now cease from all worldly strife Oh yes, return from that deep sleep Be comforted there is still life and you He will keep ©Brenda A 7/13/07 Biblical Reference from -Acts 20: 6-12 & 2 Timothy 4:13 kjv

Rest your soul in God. He has promised joy. God see your heart and knows each pain Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice -Philippians 4:4 We can be happy in spite of our circumstances. Each prayer He hears. Rejoice and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness. There is gladness for the upright. Enjoy all His blessings Although you may have sorrows now your heart shall rejoice, and none can take away the joy. John 16: 22 Do not let life's pressures and frustrations cloud your vision of God. Nehemiah 8:10 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace..... -Isaiah 55:12 Just as Israel was under pressure from foreign powers, we too are often attacked. We can be confident of God's restoration. He sees each tear you shed. Obeying God makes us recipients of the blessings. So say to your mountain. "Move, Get out of my way." Year of grace is dawning. "I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice" The end of the upright is everlasting joy. ©Brenda A

Just Waiting I anxiously await the day When we are all called far away Over the sunset horizon With our race on earth done
My heart gives a leap at the thought How my soul was bought So I could reign in Heaven's land On the far away golden strand
There it will all be joy and peace Where all our cares will cease Don't you too want to go There you will forever glow ©Brenda A 7/10/07

Send Judah 1 ¶ Now after the death of Joshua it came to pass, that the children of Israel asked the LORD, saying, Who shall go up for us against the Canaanites first, to fight against them? 2 And the LORD said, Judah shall go up: behold, I have delivered the land into his hand. 3 And Judah said unto Simeon his brother, Come up with me into my lot, that we may fight against the Canaanites; and I likewise will go with thee into thy lot. So Simeon went with him. 4 And Judah went up; and the LORD delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand: and they slew of them in Bezek ten thousand men. 5 And they found Adonibezek in Bezek: and they fought against him, and they slew the Canaanites and the Perizzites. 6 But Adonibezek fled; and they pursued after him, and caught him, and cut off his thumbs and his great toes. 7 And Adonibezek said, Threescore and ten kings, having their thumbs and their great toes cut off, gathered their meat under my table: as I have done, so God hath requited me. And they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died. 8 Now the children of Judah had fought against Jerusalem, and had taken it, and smitten it with the edge of the sword, and set the city on fire. 9 ¶ And afterward the children of Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites, that dwelt in the mountain, and in the south, and in the valley. -Judges 1: 1-9
Judah as a person, played an important part in Israel, even during the lifetime of his father. His name means praise. He was the fourth son of Jacob and Leah. He saved Joseph from the pit in which the others had cast him into to die (Gen 37: 20-27) B y persuading his brothers to sell him paved the way for the preservation of Israel. Judah was capable of confessing his sins. Gen. 38: 26. He pledged himself to Jacob for the safe return of Benjamin Gen 43: 3-14 and plead with Joseph to spare him. Judah was the one through whom the Messiah was to come and rule. His tribe led the others in their marches and it was first in a number of other activities. Numbers 34: 19 - Joshua 15:1 Judah, as a tribe, wanted Simeon to go with him to battle, seeing the two shared the same inheritance. Joshua 19: 1. The brothers were born of the same father and mother, and their tribes shared the same land. It now seemed that they should fight together. Judah won the victory at Bezek. God desired him. We too can win victory by doing the will of God and praising Him.
Send Judah! - The voice of the Lord spoke. Send Judah! - Behold, I have delivered the land into his hands: Send Judah! –There is victory for our land. Send Judah! –He is capable of accomplishing great things. Today the Lord wants to send you and me to be his witness for deliverance. Are we ready to fight for the right? Let the next generation know we are on the winning side. LET THE PRAISES BEGIN, - VICTORY IS OURS! ©Brenda A7/10/07

Power
Power That Gives Life Eternal |
Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. -Ephesians 3:7 Power is given to us to minister.. It is a gift. By His power we minister the un-searchable riches of Christ. We are not worthy of God's power His grace has made us worthy. Often one neglects the Word of God, which is a great storehouse of power. Obedience to the Word makes one stable in God. Then we have power. Some only have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. We should abstain from these. Worldly ways can lead one astray. We need more power of God in our lives to keep us clean and pure. Such power comes when one yields himself completely to God. Come out from among the world and be separated. Every Christian needs power to do God's work. The ones gathered in the Upper room received power on the day of Pentecost. They tarried with God until the power came. Jesus has all power in Heaven and earth. Power to come to our rescue. Power to makes us a better witness. Power to give eternal life. John 17:2
Recipients of God’s righteousness gain heaven and a reward. He will share with us riches of His glory. God's great heroes had mighty power. We too have power to overcome today. ©Brenda.A.07/9/2007

How Sweet Is the Word
His Word is Sweeter Than Honey How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! 119:103 Taste the word: How sweet it is! The things of the world cannot compare. The Words are better than gold and much sweeter. When God speaks, one should listen. Our hearts can then find happiness Ask John, he would say so. He dwelt in the wilderness preaching the Word He cared not for worldly possessions, but desired God. There are Words of love. Treasures, pleasures, and honors of earth. Sweet are thy words unto my taste! yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Honey is good, but the Words of God are better. They bring delight to the unsatisfied soul. Words of God purify my heart. We are blessed. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. The Word instructs us daily and gives us hope. Declare the Words. They get sweeter. Eat and see! Rare enjoyment is derived. They come to us with love, and the heart is enriched with them as though the breath of God has come into it. Life is nourished by it. It can cure all pain. Just taste and see! ©B.A.07/8/2007 ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~

Seven
Today is 7 7 7 - July Seven, 2007 There is so much associated with this day. Seems everyone wants to get married or do their favorite thing today with seven in mind. God liked the number seven too. Seven is mentioned over seven hundred times in the Bibl ~The Number Seven~ And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. -Rev. 16:17 Seven is an interesting number. There is much in the Bible about seven. It seems number seven could represent completeness in this verse. There are so many times in the Bible where the number seven is used. Life operates in cycles of seven. There are many times seven is used in other occasions. Even the musical scale has seven notes. All other pitches are only variations of these sounds. They are named notes, but God gave the sound as He did the seven days of the week. Man named them, but God gave them. Seven is used in creation. Created is used seven times. God rested on the seventh day. He appointed seven days for a week Very early in man's first days on earth, Noah took clean beasts into the ark by seven's. Seven days after Noah entered the ark it rained. Those seven days of waiting completed God's time of waiting. The Savior spoke seven times from the Cross. Seven times in the book of Revelation, blessings are promised to the seven churches. There are seven seals, trumpets, personages, vials, dooms and seven new things. It seems to be the completeness or spiritual perfection. Seven is found 735 times in the Bible. Entering the priest-hook work Aaron and his sons were consecrated for seven days. The mercy seat was sprinkled seven times. A picture of Christ redemptive work is completed in Heb. 9:12.There are seven-feast day of God. Found in Lev. 23: 1-44. There are seven branches on the candlestick in the holy place. Our God is the complete light. Solomon was seven years building the temple and kept feast seven days When Israel took the city of Jericho they marched seven times around it. Joshua 6:1-16 Job had seven sons. His friends sat seven days and nights in silence. Afterward they were required to offer a burnt offering of seven bullocks and seven rams. . Naaman the King had to dip and wash seven times in Jordan River. Jesus said to forgive seventy times seven times. Just keep on forgiving seemed to be what Christ had in mind. In Daniel, the furnace was heated seven times hotter for the Hebrew boys. Seven kinds of officials were called in to the King. The Hebrew boys were brought safely out. Someday God will also bring us safely out of bondage. We too will have complete deliverance. ©Brenda A July Seven, 2007

Yes Lord I'll Follow
Photo of fishing Boat on the Sea of Galilee, that we took on our tour of the Holy Land. Here on the Sea is where Jesus said, "Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men". Following Jesus Follow, Yes Lord, I want to follow where so ever You may gently lead. There may be some rugged, stormy ways but we can be all that we were intended to be. What a blessing to follow Jesus! Peter and James left all and followed Him. They knew straight ahead were many blessings. On we go. Our steps may falterer, but will not slip, when we choose to follow Jesus. The Bible says straight is the way and narrow the gate and few be that find it. There is a way that seems right but the end there of is the way of death. We do not want that path. He lifts us up out of the deep miry pits of sin. Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end. We will not be alone on the journey home. Jesus is with us. The way may often times be rough and we may have to stop and pray, but we can make it with Jesus as our Captain. Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you. -1 Thessalonians. 3:11 Looking straight ahead, we will find pure joy. Blessings are strewn all along the way. This path that leads home is straight and narrow, and has light ahead. What joy it is in following with Jesus holding our hand. Soon, the pearly gates will open wide, and we will enter. Make straight paths for your feet Heb. 12:13 Only the pure in heart will see Jesus. Everyone doesn't have a pure heart. Many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. Time is getting short, and Jesus' coming is very soon, so one must get on the right path to have eternal life. When one follows Christ they will not have to run and hide or cry out for the rocks and mountains to fall upon them and hide them from the face of Jesus. When we follow Jesus. We know where we are headed. We are going straight to our heavenly home to be with Jesus. Look close, as we near the shore. Soon we will see the lights of home. He the pearly gate will open, so that we may enter in. Look straight ahead, and get on the right path that leads home.

Lest We Forget
How Special Is God To You? Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet my people have forgotten me days without number. Jeremiah 2:32
Israel, God's people, was reminded that He should be very special to them. God should have been as wonderful to them as ornaments were to a maid and as attire to the bride. Yet it seems they went for days without even thinking of Him. Does God have that special place in our lives? Do we think of Him often and long to be clothed in His Love? God said His people had forgotten Him. O how this must sadden God's heart as He longs to draw near to the beloved. Let His love envelope you today. Let jubilation arise as you think of Him today. He is longing for your attention.
FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. - JOHN 3: 16 |

Nation's Blessings
America's Greatness Comes from God |
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. -Psalm 33:12 America's birthday is here again. The 231st anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. As we celebrate the founding of America, our country is in need of much prayer. America is still one nation under God, and we are responsible to Him for our land.; He has blessed this land beyond measure. We enjoy many privileges in America: religious freedom, material prosperity, and much, much more. May we not forget to look to God and be thankful for His many blessings and benefits. Perfect
As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
-Psalm 18:30 | P- people fail, but God never fails. He never makes a mistake. He is the same, today, yesterday and forever. All men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. E -exalted is our God. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name that is above every name: All His ways are complete and matchless in harmony and goodness. R-reverence belongs to Him. Jesus prayed that we might behold His glory, which was given Him before the foundation of the world. F-forget not the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you. Delight yourself in His statutes: The word of the Lord is tried, like silver refined in the furnace. E-excellent are His works and His ways are past finding out. Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb forever and ever. C-compare Him with false gods. He is un-comparable! Solomon said He was the most chief among ten thousand All his actions are resplendent with justice, truth, tenderness, mercy, and holiness T-The word of the Lord is tried, like silver refined in the furnace. As for God His way is perfect. My soul shall praise thee; unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Eph. 3:21 |
