DIVIDED LOYALTY IS NO LOYALTY AT ALL IN GOD’S EYES

Brothers and sisters the Bible is clear schisms cause divisions in the body, and JESUS SAID DO NOT DO THIS. God forbids this. There is absolutely no justification for schisms before God at all. Again while some aspect of the gospel is preached , the hearts of practitioners of schisms is sold out to their particular schism. How does this square with the commands of our Lord Jesus Christ?

Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

While it might be acceptable to people to value their personal opinions and ideals of their schisms as just as valid or equal to God’s word, God rejects divided loyalty from the New to the Old Testament:

I Isaiah 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

THE FALSE FAITH OF SCHISMS

Brothers and sisters you do not have to dig down far into any particular schism, to find that it is rooted in a  false faith in some guy or gal who “founded” their particular schism. While they might give lip service to some aspect of scripture, what they really want is for people to agree with the opinions and false ideals of their schism. Ultimately they want people to believe that salvation comes from faith in their schism rather than Jesus Christ according to the Bible. These practitioners of schisms used to slip beneath the radar of Christendom, but now with the proliferation of the information age, and the return to the intense study of scripture by Christians everywhere, we easily see that every schism contains error that contradicts God’s word. Our faith must rest in Jesus Christ whose final, finished and complete work has provided all that Christians need to be made right with God. Adding man made commands to salvation denies the validity of Christ's eternally finished work, and insults the faithfulness and truthfulness of the Bible.

  CALL TO REPENTANCE

Brethren, let us pray that the practitioners of schisms will turn away from their false faith in man made schisms to trust in Lord Jesus Christ. Brothers and sisters let us continually tell the truth of the good news of the gospel to all that we can, and let us be a living example of it out of love for God and all men.

THE SINS OF THE DENOMINATIONAL, ORGANIZATIONAL, AND INSTITUTIONAL “CHURCHES”

Brethren, I have written on this before, and will continue to do so as God permits.

All who preach the gospel in a divisional way cannot be called a church, because Christ is not divided. Jesus Christ never divided the full gospel message into bits and pieces attached to mere human opinions, and He forbids all others from doing so.

Proponents of schisms do not like to hear the truth of the Bible that speaks against the church being divided up into schisms. Many of them falsely claim this is in- fighting, that keeps us away from unity in the body. However the truth is that there can be absolutely no unity of the full gospel message with the error of schisms; or anything else that contradicts the full inerrant gospel of Jesus Christ.

If we are leading people to anything other than the full gospel message, we are leading them away from salvation.

SALESMEN (INCLUDES WOMEN) OF SCHISMS

Brothers and sisters, most Christians do not belong to any denomination, etc.  but see themselves just as Lord Jesus Christ commands, as Christians. Those followers of schisms are puzzled and cannot understand the joy of the Christians resting on Jesus Christ alone, according to the Bible. Those Christians resting on the truth of the Bible have a head over heels love relation, fellowship, and intimacy with God that those resting in schisms cannot know.

The practitioners of schisms may sincerely believe that what they do is correct. They may sincerely preach some aspect of the gospel message, but they are sincerely wrong. At heart what they most desire is to sell the message that men can be made right with God through their particular schism.  Worst of all the doctrine of the gospel, is labeled the doctrine of their particular schism. God absolutely forbids this very thing. So if anyone wants to be angry it would be unwise to argue with God, for He is not going to compromise His word to please you me, nor anyone else.

17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. 18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Romans 16:17-18 (KJV)

How do practitioners of schisms serve their own belly? In many ways: to not lose positions to serve in the ministry of their particular schism, from which some also derive financial gain,  for the status or office they may have gained through their particular schism along with the benefit of friendships made and a place of comfort. Pride and self-exaltation, and even ignorance play a role too. Sadly some blindly accept any thing people tell them about the gospel message, and never actually read the whole Bible to see if what they have been told is based on the actual truth of scripture.

10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

1 Cor. 1:10 (KJV)

It cannot be said often enough brethren, where the Bible speaks, we ought to speak. When we speak we ought to speak the very same thing that the Bible speaks. These schisms are extremely dangerous because they mislead/ hinder the true gospel message of salvation and direct people away from Jesus Christ to the mere opinions of men. No one can come to God except through Jesus Christ, not any schism.

The word division in the Greek means: disunion, i.e. (figurative) dissension :- division, sedition. The Bible is clear there is only one gospel that God has set forth for the whole world. God forbids divisions in the body. In God’s eyes these denominations show carnality, spiritual weakness, and a lack of personal biblical integrity, and making an idol of self. We must serve God based upon the whole gospel of God.

What makes these schisms so dangerous?

Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.  love, serola

GOSSIPERS IN THE CHURCH

THE NEW COVENANT OF GRACE AND GOSSIPERS

GOD COMMANDS ALL CHRISTIANS TO CONTROLL THEIR TONGUE  IT IS VAIN RELIGION NOT TO DO SO:

James 1:26 KJV If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

Bridleth meaning to lead or guide by bridling; to hold in check, restrain.

NLV Bible version: 26 If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. 27 Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.

Jesus Christ our Saviour, High Priest and Head of the church warns us that He will find us guilty or not guilty by the words we consistently speak for our words reveal our true hearts and identity. Any Christian who habitually speaks evil or habitually speaks negatively of others, Jesus says STOP. Repent and do what is right- ALL OF US MUST BRIDLE OUR TONGUES.

HOW GOD COMMANDS HIS PEOPLE TO SPEAK

1Pe 4:11 KJV If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

1Pe 4:11 NLT: Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.

I pray we will all do as God commands and enables us- to bridle or control our tongues as mature Christians. We then truly glorify our Lord, and become a blessing to one another and all men. As Christians we all must consciously and diligently control our tongues.

The tongue must be bridled, HELD IN CHECK AND RESTRAINED. God empowers Christians to bridle their tongues.

Yet God shows us the way that never fails. Brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, boys and girls God says unto us all, uphold the royal law of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Rom 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

When Jesus Christ commands us His people to do something we can greatly rejoice, because He has already empowered us to do that very thing!! Brethren having done my work to avoid hypocrisy by God’s command and power, the beam was removed out of my own eyes. I was clearly open and able to learn from the Bible the ramifications of gossipers and gossip. When I initially confronted my friend, I failed as I merely gave her my personal opinion not based on the truth of scripture. But now, through God’s word I was equipped to truly confront and help her God’s way and speak the truth in love. I was not angry, nor did I set out to punish or condemn my friend, my objective was to show her what God commands of His people concerning the use of our tongues to help and never to injure people, but to glorify God.

The day came and I directly confronted my friend, with the truth of scripture. She responded immediately with defenses, excuses and accusations that I was judging her, trying to control her and suppressing her freedom of speech. Again I showed her the scriptures and encouraged her to believe and repent from gossiping about people out of love and trust that God’s way is the only right way and the only right way is God’s way. She became even angrier and let me know she did not care what God wanted or even think that He was real. She noted the church she attended somewhere else also had called her a gossiper and “judged” her unfairly which hurt her deeply and she was mad with them too.

When I saw she rejected God’s command, and did not believe in Him, I refused to have any further contact with her and avoided her. Dear friends of Jesus, through the Bible I was not tempted to see her apart from God’s word. There comes a time when it is wise and safe to avoid anyone who resists God, and continues on to harm others. We can be sure that God will deal with such persons. The Bible has completely classified every type of human behaviors and characters, it goes beyond psychology and all other mind sciences. The Bible gives the clear picture of how to live and please God, and every single way that displeases Him as well.

New Living Translation "Don't waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don't throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.

Brothers and sisters, if through the message presented here if any have been convicted, convinced, and fully persuaded that we all must keep our tongues in check to only speak as oracles of God, amen and all thanks to God. Brethren, if any have been more strengthened to stand up to confront biblically, amen, and all thanks to God. Let us consciously, dilligently embrace our tongue to be used in the service of God to help one another out of love for God and all men.

GOSSIPERS IN THE CHURCH

THE NEW COVENANT OF GRACE AND GOSSIPERS Brothers and sisters, this non-biblical doctrine of “broken and hurting” people is straight from the devil. Firstly because its promoters use it to excuse evil behavior, and allow wicked persons to escape accountability and the consequences of the damage they are doing to others. Secondly it FREES wicked persons to continue damaging the lives of others and even the church unabated.

Now I know none of the following applies to any of you brothers and sisters, because you love your kids and will neither allow nor permit anyone to abuse them. This non-biblical doctrine of “broken and hurting” people is comparable to this:

One day a father coming home hears the blood curdling screams of his child inside. The father rushes in and finds a guy beating the daylights out of the child. The father does nothing to interrupt or stop the guy from beating his child-despite the child’ s amazement, horror and continued pleas for help. Instead the father tells the child: “Son, I know you are broken and hurting, but the guy beating you is just as broken and hurting too, therefore you ought to love and have compassion on him. After all we are all just broken and hurting people.”

Now we know that the story does not and cannot end here. For the next day the injured and battered kid shows up at school where his injuries are noticed and the authorities are promptly called in. The authorities note the injuries to the child and to protect the child removes him from the home. In follow up the authorities go to the home where they find the father consoling the guy who had beaten the kid!!! The father is promptly arrested along with the guy who beat his kid. The authorities judge the father to be an unfit parent, and the guy who beat him is up on criminal charges and the father as well. It goes without saying that the child will not trust his father anytime soon. The child will identify the father as someone too weak and unwilling to protect him from others-even seeing the father as just as dangerous as the guy who beat him, because he let it happen instead of stopping it. This is what it is like to be in any church that holds this devilish doctrine. They put others at risk by excusing and leaving “broken and hurting” people unchecked.

Ultimately you will find the authorities (the powers that be that are ordained by God on earth to check evil), to be called in to put a stop to both the promoters and perpetrators from continuing to harm others. “Broken and hurting people” is just a code word for sinners being allowed to wrongfully go unchecked and to continue to harm others without any accounting for their deeds. There will be a reckoning for the promoters this evil doctrine in heaven and on earth.

Another way to look on this brothers and sisters is similar to this: One day a family hears that the culprit who injured one of its members has been caught and will be sentenced in court. The family arrives at the sentencing and the judge ignoring the victim, calls forth the perpetrator to make a “victims'  impact statement”. The perpetrator tearfully recounts a life of "brokenness,  hurting"  and mal treatment by parents and many others, which caused him to hurt people and steal from them, even though he knew none of them. Based on his past the perpetrator asks the judge to grant leniency because of all the pain and hurt he has suffered in his life.

In response the judge grants great leniency, because the “victim” who is really the perpetrator has suffered enough "brokenness and hurting" in his life. The judge then turns to the family and the actual victim and tells them he is sorry for their suffering, but justice must be tempered with mercy because the perpetrator is suffering too.

You know this ain’t no justice and this ain't no judge, this is just plain wicked and this person will not long be sitting as a judge on the bench in any court-but sent to sit out on a park bench where he cannot continue to loose dangerous offenders back on the innocent public. No church- no pastor who fails to protect members or deal with unruly persons is safe, and in essence rejects the command of Lord Jesus Christ to protect the flock from wolves. Even as individual Christians we must avoid, disassociate from unrepentant persons who choose to continue to sin against God and others. We should never be embarrassed to live out scripture, or conned to accept false doctrines that encourage evil, and allow wicked persons to go unchallenged to harm others.

GOSSIPERS IN THE CHURCH

THE NEW COVENANT OF GRACE AND GOSSIPERS

Brethren, God has given us His wisdom and enabled us by His strength not to be spiritually spineless cowards who fear to stand up for His truth. It is our Lord Jesus who has set the truth of His word to be our foundation, and not the world, and not mere religious gurus who seek to pervert God’s inerrant and everlasting truth. Therefore we must boldly proclaim the inerrant truth of the Bible.

Brothers and sisters neither we nor anyone else have absolutely no authority from God to psychologize or change the truth of God’s word by adding or taking away from it in any manner whatsoever. The danger of the gossipers is real, as well as the horrible damage they do to the lives of others.

Tsk, tsk, tsk, imagine the damage of anyone foolishly preaching that the church is just a hospital for sick folk who are broken and hurting, and then allowing these “broken and hurting” folk to rampage unchecked harming you your family, friends and everyone else that they desire to harm. This ain’t no church, it sounds more like hell to me. I would not call anyone a pastor who would have only sympathy for wolves who are “hurting and broken” and none for the sheep and then stand by and allow the wolves to destroy the sheep.

Thanks be to God for the multitudes of true pastors who love the flock and diligently watch over them by the power of God to love, teach and keep them safely in the foundational truth of the Bible. Holy brethren, we ought to continually believe God and do His will, not ours the world nor mere men whose only desire is to preach the world, the flesh and the devil.

1 Cr. 5:11 makes it abundantly clear to God’s people that we cannot be passive in the face of those who are unrepentant and continue to habitually sin in the church. Here the New Covenant echoes the Old Covenant of the Law-Christians are commanded to avoid wicked persons including the habitual railer. There is also the necessity of the church individually and as a whole to completely avoid such persons. However, if such persons repent, we ought to welcome them back in love.

Nevertheless God commands that those who refuse to stop gossiping MUST BE PUT OUT OF THE CHURCH FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL.

James 3 New Life Version (NLV) 5 The tongue is also a small part of the body, but it can speak big things. See how a very small fire can set many trees on fire. 6 The tongue is a fire. It is full of wrong. It poisons the whole body. The tongue sets our whole lives on fire with a fire that comes from hell. 7 Men can make all kinds of animals and birds and fish and snakes do what they want them to do. 8 But no man can make his tongue say what he wants it to say. It is sinful and does not rest. It is full of poison that kills. 9 With our tongue we give thanks to our Father in heaven. And with our tongue we speak bad words against men who are made like God. 10 Giving thanks and speaking bad words come from the same mouth. My Christian brothers, this is not right! 11 Does a well of water give good water and bad water from the same place? 12 Can a fig tree give olives or can a grape-vine give figs? A well does not give both good water and bad water.

WOW! See, brethren,  how plainly our God speaks about the use of our tongues. God gives clear understandable, unchanging sound knowledge. See how God does not get all touchy feely, warm and fuzzy about the use and misuse of the tongue, behold how God gives none of us any wiggle room to misuse our tongues to injure others.
