DEALING WITH THE PAST GOD’S COUNSEL STANDS SURE (part twenty-two) Dear children of the Day,the goal of the Christian who counsels is to respectfully and lovingly help the brother or sister in Christ, to love, obey, correctly understand and apply, God’s word to their every day life, no matter what the situation, circumstance or condition might be, and to identify and reject ungodly ways of thinking and behaving, to please the Lord above anyone or anything else. The godly counselor encourages the brother or sister in Christ to make choices and decisions based upon correctly interpreted biblical principals, not raw emotionalism or mere humanly held opinions and beliefs. The Lord Himself rewards the Christian who walks in love and obedience to Him, with the power to over come his or her problems. Even when the problem cannot be changed God is still able to help the saint rise above it. God has throughout the Holy Bible, displayed His help to His children, not only through the saints, but through boldly coming before Jesus our Saviour and High Priest over the flock of God, to seek ever present help in our times of need. It is still the same today, so saints I speak very boldly here and with great confidence in the Lord, that He will always help His children to overcome. Indeed, Christ is our victory. What then saints? We who are born of the Holy Spirit arrive in natural bodies, not to live in accordance to the standards of this world, nor to conform to its carnal standards and beliefs, we are to live by the faith of the Son of God, and in the finished work of His death, burial and resurrection. What do we the saints do when we suffer? Blessed ones of our true and only Holy God, next time, let us, if God permits, look at suffering in the lives of God’s people, being certain of this, God’s counsel stands sure. Love serola

.. DEALING WITH THE PAST GOD’S COUNSEL STANDS SURE (part twenty-one) Blessed be the Lord our God, dear children of light, I know I need not say that we have already begun to delve into the spiritual. God’s standard is unchanging and greater than the mixed norm that governs the natural man. The focus of God’s standard is love, worship, belief, trust and obedience to the triune God, based on the Holy Bible. If it is not about Jesus it is really about nothing at all. The indwelling Holy Spirit enables Christians to will and obey God’s word. God is in control and the Creator of all things both natural and spiritual. God says to every soul: 1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation Romans 13:1-2 (KJV) 13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; 14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. 15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: 16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. 1 Peter 2:13-16 (KJV) The implications of the meaning of these two biblical quotations can be disturbing to some Christians. But it will be in a different study to follow this one, that we will closely examine these two quotations to show that no Christian need be in confusion regarding them. The study will be continued. The Lord bless and keep you kings and priests now and always. I pray to meet with you here next time. Love serola

DEALING WITH THE PAST THERE IS ABUNDANT HOPE IN GOD (part twenty) Dear saints, made so by our great Lord Jesus, the norm is made to deal with the natural man, and natural problems of the body and mind as they occur over time. this study is not exhaustive nor can be. but the jist of the matter is that Christians have natural bodies subject to the same diseases, disorders and injuries which includes the mind. No christian should be condemned for seeking help in such matters. What about “Christian counselors”? I think it would be better to put it this way “Christian counselors” VS. Christians who counsel. Can you see the difference, beloveds? Christians who counsel, can be found in the counseling field, and among the church as a whole, who are equipped through the Holy Spirit to offer help to Christians at large. They see the Christian in need of counsel as brothers and sisters in Christ, not “patients”. They can offer practical help for emotional problems, as well as spiritual difficulties whose remedy will be through the Lords word, and work. They know very well that no Christian is an amalgam of saint and sinner. Yet without condemnation to the believer, they can pin point with great accuracy the spiritual from those problems arising in the natural, and they know very well how to help the saint in need. The goal of the Christian who counsels is to help the brother or sister in Christ, to love, obey, correctly understand and apply, God’s word to their every day life, no matter what the situation, circumstance or condition might be.the study will be continued and the Lord Jesus keep you walking in the love and liberty of our Lord Jesus Christ. love serola

DEALING WITH THE PAST PROBLEMS WITH THE NORM (part nineteen) Children of the living God , the norm is also known by other names such as the average, or standard. This norm exists in the natural across cultures, and nations. The problems with the norm are many. First it changes over time and varies greatly between cultures and national boundaries. The norm can be changed by force of arms. The norm determines whose life is expendable, to not only include violators of it, but also the innocent such as unborn children, and/or those who do not belong to the dominant group. While it protects, there are those who need protection from it. The norm can be mimicked. The norm governs the natural man. While the norm serves the purpose of defining acceptable behavior, growth and development within and without society, offers protection, control and restraint it can also oppress and destroy. Yet, despite these problems, the norm exists primarily to control and contain the natural man. The natural man I have been speaking about all along is the man without the Spirit. I also mentioned earlier that the norm can be found on many levels regarding physical, mental, emotional and behavioral growth. It goes without saying that you will find the natural man among the church (the body of Christ) on earth, but never in heaven. And when you find him among the body of believers, you will find many aspects of the norm also appearing, along with heavy duty emotionalism and preference for human experience over God‘s word. Do not be surprised, holy brethren, if sometimes you find the natural man not only among believers, but in the pulpit. When he appears in the pulpit he tends to reject the old testament or the new, or various aspects of the scriptures as a whole. The natural man can mimic piety publicly, while privately living in perversion. There is no lasting solution to emotional difficulties or dealing with the past in the norm There is some usefulness in the norm but as I mentioned, dear saints, back in part twelve of this study: Yet, despite this helpfulness, it is not the final answer for the saints, and does not deserve a place in the church; but it serves a purpose in understanding its limits, uses, applications, and recognizing when we are dealing with it. Yet, beloveds of our Lord Jesus, it would be a mistake to totally dismiss the natural, as some attempt to do, because there is a natural body that must be dealt with, and yet, not be allowed to interfere with the spiritual. Dear children of the Lord Jesus (may His name be forever blessed) we will stop here and Lord willing, I hope to meet with you again next time. Love Serola
