WHAT'S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT?
Dear saints, I was just pondering about temptation. It is given no matter where we are in our Christian walk, temptations come as well as go. No matter our state of maturation in the Christian walk temptations, which are common to man will come. Although they may not seem so common while we are going through them. As I meditated on temptations, I began to understand that in dealing with this issue the most important focus we can have is Jesus. That is to carve away the distraction of temptation, and ask this fundamental question: Whose will shall be done? Second to this is to realize that it still is about us and Jesus. Yes, dear children of light, it is still between us and Jesus, in the midst of the temptation, whether we will do what He wants or follow our own will above His. My precious ones, I have found in the midst of my own temptation a far better outcome, when I take the strength He gives to all of us to say: Father, I am not deceived by this temptation, I know what you want me to do is always right, and I refuse to go against your will to follow my own fleshly urgings, because I love you above all, for sin shall not have dominion over me, Lord Jesus, thy will be done. That settles the whole matter in the Lord Jesus. Oh my! don't think some of the same temptation won't show up more often than not, but the Lord strengthens our wills in each occurrance. I have found that by God's power, I am strengthened through the temptation to be settled on doing the will of God, no matter the discomfort to get to the victory. Till Jesus returns, I know that the saints shall prevail by His power. May our love for our God and one another grow day by day by His power. love serola

WHAT HAS LOVE GOT TO DO WITH It?
There is just something about Jesus, dear saints, that I just cannot get over, nor do I want to. Is it the sweetness of that precious Name, that always melts my heart? Could it be the sure knowledge that neither I nor any saint has never had to go a day without His eternal love? Is it the remembrance of the King at Gethsemane on His face in the garden, crying out "nevertheless let thy will be done" that fills my eyes with tears of gratitude, for His selfless love? Could it be the beauty of those nail scarred hands and feet, that distained the shame of the cross for me and you? Could it be the crimson blood shed to wash away my sins and yours too, gaining us eternal forgiveness and God's kingdom? Could it be His love so rich and strong, that the saints are given strength and help to live each day? Is it the power of His love that fills me and you too, with hope, power and love, regardless of the days content? My beloved ones it is all of this and so much, much more. God is love. love serola

Dear Brothers and sisters, my fellow worshippers, some love the church building, and are greatly impressed by these seemingly majestic structures, but the Bible says: Mk 13:1 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! So while the saints use these temporary buildings to worship in, and which we should support and keep up while we are temporarily here; nevertheless we should not fall in love with the church physical building. Some even call parts of it "the Sanctuary", and even call the building holy, as though Jesus dwelled there. Brothers and sisters I freely admit that at one time I once thought there were holy spots in the church building, and erroneously thought my prayers held special meaning at "the altar" and in "the sanctuary". But when I fell in love with Jesus as all of us will do sooner or later, He opened up my blind eyes and I could easily see that He honors what is in the heart, rather than the physical building in which we pray. The true church is the saints of the Living God, in which He dwells. But the Bible says: Ac 7:48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Ac 7:49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest? Ac 7:50 Hath not my hand made all these things? Some fall in love with titles, wearing religious garments, and the praises of mere men( this includes women too.): But the Bible says Mt 23:5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, Mt 23:6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, Mt 23:7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. The Bible also says: Mt 23:28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. Some just love the angels but the Bible says: Col 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind... Precious saints, it was Jesus who died on the cross and rose again for our sins. The Bibles notes: let all the angels worship Him. There are scriptural passages where God's angels themselves forbids any worship of them. Lord Jesus deliver us I pray from spiritual error. Lord you alone are the object of our love and worship. We are to love and worship you with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength. Lord Jesus help us to exalt you to the highest place above everything and everyone. Lord you will not share your glory with anyone or anything. If there are places in our hearts, or areas of our lives where you are not first, we renounce them, and exalt your name above them.( Say this with me now saints: Lord I renounce any and everything that I have knowingly, and unknowingly allowed to be placed first above you in my life. Lord I place you first in my life and above all others, amen.) Lord Jesus bless your saints, and the humble servant leaders who love you and the saints more than the church building. Father God help those who are focused on the temporal to be rooted instead in the eternal holiness, and obedience to God, rather than the doctrines of men. Finally, Lord Jesus, I know that you will and can do above and abundantly all that has been prayed, for you are the greatest, all mighty one, who ever loves your flock, and you will conform us to your image more and more as your sure return draws near. love serola Mk 13:2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
