MT. 12:30 HE THAT IS NOT WITH ME IS AGAINST ME...

1Pe 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

God commands discipline and consistent right living in the body of Christ. The whole church has authority from God to admonish and correct one another. No one is above church discipline.   1 Ti. 5:9Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses. 20Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. Church discipline  includes the church leadership, not onlyfor the flock.

 Church discipline must be done in love and can restore or remove as warranted. There are various ways that discipline or correction takes place in the body: first and foremost is the direct disciplinary hand of God. God’s standards are perfect, and His motives are always founded on His perfect, sovereign love; for His glory and our good, therefore:

Heb. 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 

2. Conviction through the Holy Spirit, of our redeemed conscience by God leads us to examine and correct ourselves, or He will do it to and for us. Those who reject His discipline are bastards and not His children at all.

3. Authority from God for overseers and the whole church to admonish one another.

Rom 15:14 And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

4. God gives authority to the church overseers and the body to expel those who refuse to repent..

God is Sovereign over His people, beloveds, and always fully in control over His house (even the whole of all creation). For the protection and wellbeing of his children He exercises control over them. Out of love He will not allow his children to do things or live in ways that will harm them, and even entice others by their bad example.

 God teaches, trains, helps, corrects, disciplines, and sets firm/clear eternal standards for acceptable behavior and life style for His children. He has eternally set firm absolutely clear boundaries for what is right and good. He demands and enables His children to adhere to them.

He gave us the Bible which explicitly expresses His will for us for all time. He makes it easy for his kids to please him and understand what is required of them. Rebellion or disobedience is never an option. No one can “handle’ God. God is going to have His way. God’s program is going to play out to the end for His glory and the good of His people.

As our Everlasting Father, He commands relationship and obedience with Him based on love and biblical truth, not ritual based on merely keeping rules out of fear of punishment.

The New Testament gives God’s complete and comprehensive commands as to how Christians must deal with sin as a whole and individually. Beloveds we must get the fact that God gives no one the authority to negotiate, or compromise with the flesh or the old nature in any way shape or form- it must be crucified.

In relationship to God who owns us, He commands that we repent of our sins, out of love to show our love for Him, with the knowledge that we are eternally forgiven, and our Father keeps no record of our sins. He still allows for our sin to have consequences. He will allow our rightfully suffering the consequences of sin to thwart us from continuing in ways that displease Him.

MT. 12:30 HE THAT IS NOT WITH ME IS AGAINST ME...

Over and over again, God tells us in His word that All who believe in Jesus Christ are absolutely, forever delivered and transferred from the Law of Moses and placed eternally under the New Covenant or New Contract of Jesus Christ.

I absolutely have no doubt that because of Jesus Christ, I have been born again of incorruptible seed:  1 Pe. 1: 18Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your fathers; 19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.  23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Mat 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

Brothers and sisters, I am not cocky nor proud, but humbly, absolutely confident that God the dresser of the vine will allow me to go through a variety of situations, circumstances, troubles, tests and trials, not to destroy me but to strengthen me for His glory and my good; which will prove my faith over the course of time. Of course God does not tempt any man, but allows it, yet always makes a way of escape from it through His power as we obey Him out of trust and love for Him. Every test serves His purpose in building up His church:

1Pe 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ;

8Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:  9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Finally, brethren, I know without a doubt that my attitude should be one of joy even in the midst of every trial and temptation. Rather than sitting in dread and worry about the trials I face or will face, I know I can relish their appearances knowing I have everything I need from God to DO His will to please Him out of love for Him. Yes, even knowing also that I have and shall continue to receive great benefit through overcoming them, as a reward through our Lord Jesus Christ. Every Christian has this same, certain hope, assurance and confidence through God.

We absolutely know through the Bible the kind of fruit that is produced in us must be good, not continually evil nor corrupt. For it is impossible for a good tree to bear corrupt fruit. Mt. 7:17-18.

Our eternally saved and eternally forgiven NEW lives have eternal purpose and meaning through God.

The physical body of the believer on earth is our visible part which will die one day, our NEW eternally saved spirits which will live forever cannot ever die, and cannot be seen on earth by men.

However, the evidence and presence of our NEW eternal spiritual nature within us is made visible and clear to us and all men as we:

1. We live by the faith of and in Jesus Christ, for the just shall live by faith.

2. We obey God, love Him and His eternal truth. We love our brothers and sisters and all men, and do the will of God in our public and private lives.

3. We have the joy, command, privilege, and delight to partner with God in spreading the New Covenant of Jesus Christ who alone can save all who will believe.

4. We understand and deal with sin the NEW and Living way, according to the grace of the New Covenant and never, ever again through the Mosaic Law that God has delivered us from forever.

5. We believe, understand and fully know that God no longer sees us as the old dead man born with the degenerate Adamic sin nature. We are fully persuaded, convicted and convinced that God sees us in His eternal spiritual love and truth as the NEW man or NEW creature in Jesus Christ, washed in His blood.

Exo 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

Back then in the Old Testament, the blood of a perfect lamb was applied to the door posts of the children of Israel so that when God saw the blood, His plague would pass over them and they would escape sure and certain destruction.

But now praise God He has given us the perfect Lamb of God who has washed us in His blood. So I know without a doubt that when God the Father looks at me I do not merely have blood smeared on me I have been washed completely in the sinless blood of Jesus Christ. When God looks at me, He sees the sinless blood of His Son Jesus Christ in me, He sees the NEW, regenerated me. Therefore, spiritual death, curses, and the wrath of God passes over me for all time, because of Lord Jesus Christ.

Praise God back then there was mere animal blood that gave a Passover limited to Israel. But now the precious, sinless blood of the perfect Lamb, Lord Jesus Christ is available for all who believe.    

I thank God that through Jesus Christ I know, and believe, without a doubt that I have been delivered from the Law of sin, death and the curse. All who believe are given this same assurance through the precious sinless body and blood of the Lamb.

Brethren, let us take time out to worship God. Lord we worship you, we believe and accept the eternal reality of the spiritual truth that you have got our backs and everything else regarding us your people. Lord we relax, full of confidence in you, because you will finish the good work that you began in each and every one of us your children. Lord we worship, love and thank you our good shepherd for you are the God of Battle and there is never the power that can wrest nor pluck us out of your hand. Amen.

NEW LIVES GIVEN NEW MEANING AND PURPOSE THROUGH THE NEW COVENANT OF JESUS CHRIST

Dearly beloved, as NEW creatures in Jesus Christ, we have NEW lives, and our NEW lives have a NEW meaning and purpose in and through Jesus Christ. Our New lives are rich and exciting and joyful, although we face troubles, trials and temptations. Even as we face troubles, trials, temptations, we can count it all joy because Jesus Christ is with us AND IN US every step of the way to help us and guide us, for He is ALWAYS FAITHFUL:

Phil. 1:3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, 4Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, 5For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; 6Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ:

Jude 1:24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present [you] faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25To the only wise God our Saviour, [be] glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Falling means: aptaistos Pronunciation ä'-ptīs-tos.

The KJV translates Strongs G679 in the following manner: keep from falling (with G5442) (1x). I. Not stumbling, standing firm, exempt from falling.

Relax, brothers and sisters, because Lord Jesus has got our backs, fronts, sides and everything around, over and in between us. Again, beloveds relax, rejoice, rest and trust in God for He is the absolute truth and it is impossible for Him to lie, He will NEVER let you fall. This is His promise to all of His people under the New Covenant of Jesus Christ, written in His own sinless blood.

Luke 22: 19And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake [it], and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. 20Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup [is] the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

Dearly beloveds, this is the foundation of Christmas that Jesus Christ our Saviour was born to save us and all who believe in His New Covenant. For all who believe, God has embedded in our hearts the joy of the certainty that Jesus Christ is our Gift for us from God, that makes our every day Christmas.

As living spirits, INDWELT BY THE TRIUNE GOD ( in physical or natural bodies),  we have the God given power, right, privilege, delight and command to meet with God in prayer at all times directly, because of Jesus Christ. No Christian has to go through a “pope”, pastor, “worship leader”, nor any human “authority”, to seek permission to pray. No Christian has to go through any man or woman made ritual in order to pray. Those who require or seek to establish such things over the body of Christ have overstepped their boundaries and should be ignored. Brothers and sisters, go freely and often to our Lord in prayer. Beloveds, you will always find Him waiting for you there with boundless love, and help in your times of need. Moreover, beloved, prayer is your private line to fellowship with Him alone or with other believers.

We have the God given power, right, privilege, delight and command to fellowship with God privately and to gather with other believers in fellowship with Him as well. We spiritually dine often and regularly through prayer, the study and application of God’s word, alone and with our brothers and sisters to ensure that we are spiritually well nourished in the word of God, by His power. We do not have to seek to sabotage out of envy or be jealous of any brother or sister due to their God given ability to expound on the word of God. We can ask God for all the wisdom we need in teaching and feeding ourselves and others with the word of God. The Holy Spirit grants us all the wisdom we need, however He always resists those who instead of seeking to glorify Him, Only seek His wisdom to glorify themselves as some “great one”.

We dwell in love and fellowship with other believers in worshipping God and demonstrating His love towards one another and all men.

My prayer brothers and sisters is that you me all of us will fully embrace the love and truth of the only Saviour Lord Jesus Christ. I pray He will find you before Him full of joy, and garbed as His priests under His eternal priesthood, offering the sweet sacrifice of praise and pouring out liberal libations of your love to Him.

More on why Jesus saved us and left us alive in our earthly bodies:

 2Co 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Although we live according to the Holy Spirit, we work in our natural bodies to acquire the material things to provide for our natural bodies, and that of our families, and to provide help to those in need. We enjoy the fruit of our labors, the material things that God has given us to enjoy, avoiding excess or making an idol of any.

Through Lord Jesus Christ, we understand and know how to feed our spiritual bodies with spiritual food of the word of God. John 6: 53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.  54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. 58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.  

Note, holy brethren, how Lord Jesus Christ declares absolutely that the manna that Israel ate under the Law can never nourish unto life, hence they all died. Jesus Christ declares that He is that true Bread from heaven alone, for all who believe. He alone is able to nourish the spiritual man and give eternal life.

The word of God is the absolutely necessary spiritual food which alone is capable and able to feed and nourish the living spirits of every believer, through Jesus Christ the Son of God, by the will of the Father and the indwelling Holy Spirit.

Our Triune God wants to feed each individual Christian in relationship to Him, as well as the church as a whole.  God feeds us directly, through godly overseers, and the body as a whole. God requires us to check out all teachings against scripture.

We are not to allow anyone to claim that through their status as a theologian, scholar, overseer, religious pundit, etc. to be the equal with the final standard and eternal truth of the Bible. Where there is no truth of scripture no such persons have any authority from God, and should be avoided.

Jhn 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me

The Christian is all of the above and more through Jesus Christ.

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 

While God, in His patience, until the fullness of time, is doing the work of saving all who believe through Jesus Christ, All who are saved, through Jesus Christ, are left alive as eternal spiritual beings or persons  in physical bodies.  Even though one day our physical or natural bodies shall die; our spirits or spiritual bodies are eternal and will never die. Yes you me and every, all Christians have been saved and made living spirits, though Jesus Christ, although we remain in physical or natural bodies while alive on earth, for now. This does not mean we get all eerie or try to ignore our physical bodies at all. God has made us a new creature with a new nature (spiritual), a redeemed conscience, the mind of Christ, and a new heart fully filled with the love of God and dedicated to Him in truth and love. In our physical bodies we are to consider the eternal spiritual reality that our old man or old nature or sinful flesh, or body of sin, with its propensity and love of sin to be dead, and kept under the control of the new man or new nature through the Holy Spirit.

1Co 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. That is our thoughts and thinking are to be like our Lord’s.  

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

 We are balanced, through Jesus Christ, in knowing how to feed and care for our physical bodies properly. We feed our natural bodies with natural food to nourish and maintain our physical health. We meet the requirements of our natural bodies in giving proper rest and exercise. We know that God has ordained us to go through trials, persecutions, and tribulations in our natural/physical bodies, with the power and willingness to deal with it all through His power.

For some of us illness, injury, sickness, and disability may happen to our physical bodies, but we are still beloved of God and His people. None of these things have any impact or damage at all to our eternal spirits.

THOSE AMONG US WHO ARE SUFFERING  PHYSICAL ILLNESS, INJURY, SICKNESS AND OR DISABILITY KNOW EVERY ONE OF YOU ARE STILL VALUED, AND LOVED OF GOD AND OF HIS PEOPLE.

Certainly we can feel alone in these times, but the truth is despite our feelings, WE WALK IN FAITH IN BELIEVING THE TRUTH THAT- God is with us through it all and we do not go through these things in vain. I want to put a quote here from a pastor who is recently diagnosed with cancer: “Brothers and sisters, at this time in my life I'm entering one of the most difficult seasons that I ever experienced. But I know in my heart that God is able to deliver me in answer to prayer.

And more than that, I believe that God wants to show me—God wants to show us that more than being pain free we need to know that the greatest value of persistent prayer—the greatest value of making our corporate prayer meeting a priority in our lives—the greatest value of interceding in prayer for others continually, is that we will know that God’s grace is sufficient in all things—that Jesus is enough.

Knowing that this is what God wants to do in me—in us, in my wife, in my sons lives and in my church family, I boast in my weakness—I boast in my cancer for the sake of Christ.

I don’t want to waste my cancer. If we can all learn from it and come to know our God more intimately for the greater fame of Jesus, it will be worth it all.”

We are married to Jesus Christ , brothers and sisters take heart and be greatly encouraged; He is with us in sickness and in health-EVEN FOREVER..

Mt. 12:30 HE THAT IS NOT WITH ME IS AGAINST ME...

Beloved brothers and sisters, God makes it abundantly clear that He absolutely forbids combining the Law of Moses with the New Covenant of the grace of His Son Jesus Christ. It is true that some have done and do this out of ignorance. However when the righteous hear the truth they believe and turn to it, BUT THE WICKED AND UNGODLY NEVER WILL. The devil has planted his children among but never in Christians. How you know them is by their fruit. They are blasphemers who will always try in vain to trick Christians to trust in the Law of Moses. No matter how pious they may sound, for even as the devil their father are able to quote scripture, they will always pervert it, and promote lies that the Law of Moses or some thing or someone has equal standing with the New Covenant of Jesus Christ.

The Bible is clear, flee from, turn away from evil people working hand and hand in vain with the devil trying to hinder your faith. God the Father has eternally ordained His Son Jesus Christ as the sole means of Salvation through faith in His sinless blood. This cannot be said often enough, and we must continually take this truth before the whole world and continually lift it up in the church the body of Christ.

Jhn. 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

What about sin after salvation?

No doubt some believers ponder that since the sinless blood of Jesus Christ purges us from all sins, past, present and future, giving complete forgiveness eternally; God never remembering them nor putting it on our record; i.e. no longer imputing them to us anymore; which makes it un-necessary for us to keep confessing and asking for forgiveness of sins over and over again -then why does the New Covenant give examples of Christians who sin after salvation?

The answer is that while it is true that the New Covenant cites examples of Christians who sin after salvation and admonishes Christians against sinning; nevertheless God neither imputes nor remembers their sins at all anymore. Neither do they lose their salvation; they remain eternally forgiven. This remains absolutely eternally true for all Christians. WHAT IS SIN? Sin is the transgression of the Law of Moses established by God to teach all men that they are sinners in need of a Saviour; so that upon hearing the gospel, all that believe in Jesus Christ will be saved. 

It is essential to keep in mind and understand that God alone has set the final, complete, and eternal standard for imputing sin. All who have been saved through Jesus Christ have died, i.e. been delivered from the Law of sin and death; therefore:

Ro. 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law). The issue of God’s forgiveness via atonement through Jesus for all believers is once and for all settled for all eternity, it is finished. God has not left us on our own, nor are we “saved sinners”. The penitent sinner is not just forgiven, and left to flounder alone. Nor is he or she an old man dusted off and cleaned up outwardly with a somewhat improved old nature, No, no he or she is regenerated, made a completely new creature, indwelt by God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, made a child of the Living God.

God tells us over and over in a multitude of ways throughout His word that Christians are not given a license to sin, but made free from the bondage of sin to serve God and one another in love, and gratitude for what God’s Son has done for us.

ActS 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Rom 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. 6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Rom 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Ro. 5: 12Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. 15But not as the offence, so also [is] the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, [which is ] by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. 16And not as [it was] by one that sinned, [so is] the gift: for the judgment [was] by one to condemnation, but the free gift [is] of many offences unto justification. 17For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. ) 18Therefore as by the offence of one [judgment came] upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one [the free gift came] upon all men unto justification of life. 19For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 20Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Gal 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

1 John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. 19[And] we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. 20And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is TRUE, and we are in him that is TRUE, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the TRUE God, and eternal life.

We can completely trust and be absolutely confident in God for it is IMPOSSIBLE for God to lie.

Brothers and sisters, God willing, next time we must look at the anatomy of the Christian.

MT. 12:20 hE THAT IS NOT WITH ME IS AGAINST ME...

Note to my Christian brother who got into “trouble” for telling folks at your local church that God requires Christians to deal with sin and every aspect of life via the New Covenant way and not through the Law of Moses anymore: Beloved, I am sorry you experienced rejection because you stood up for the eternal truth of the New Covenant of Jesus Christ, out of love and complete trust in Him. I pray that God will greatly comfort your heart in knowing that it is better to suffer in standing for faith in Jesus Christ than to enjoy the shallow acceptance of men in denying Him. We are thankful for all the faithful men and women of the Bible, but God is calling us to none but His Son Jesus Christ.

Indeed Solomon was under the Levitical Law of Moses and received strict instructions regarding it: 1 Kings. 2: 1Now the days of David drew nigh that he should die; and he charged Solomon his son, saying, 2I go the way of all the earth: be thou strong therefore, and shew thyself a man; 3And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:

We know full well that any form of rebellion or disobedience cancelled out any  promise or agreement with God under the Law of Moses: 2 Chr. 7: 19But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them; 20Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it [to be] a proverb and a byword among all nations. 21And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house? 22And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them.

This is the Levitical contract  or covenant God had with Solomon, and all men under the Law. The question is did Solomon live up to it? 1 Kings 11: 1But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, [and] Hittites; 2Of the nations [concerning] which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: [for] surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love. 3And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart. 4For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, [that] his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as [was] the heart of David his father. 5For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. 6And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as [did] David his father. 7Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that [is] before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon. 8And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.

God's Anger against Solomon

1 Kings 11: 9And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice, 10And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded. 11Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

God is sovereign, and the whole point of the Law is that other than Jesus Christ, neither Solomon nor anyone else ever  kept or ever could keep the Law. Solomon lost out in the end having broken God’s Law. If Solomon, with all his money, surrounded by the Levitical priests, even having built the first  stationary house of worship couldn’t keep the Law, neither can anyone else rich or poor. This is why God commands and hastens us to His Son Jesus Christ. Yes, my brother, God bless you keep trusting, believing, and keep telling everyone you can the truth of Jesus Christ. When we have Jesus Christ we have everything we need.

Mt. 12:30 HE THAT IS NOT WITH ME IS AGAINST ME...

God is no longer calling all men to have "good success” through obeying the Law of Moses. God is calling all men and women forever to believe in His Son JESUS CHRIST OF THE NEW COVENANT,  and be made HOLY through faith in His Name. GOD IS CALLING ALL MEN TO BELIEVE AND OBEY HIM THROUGH JESUS CHRIST NOT THE LAW OF MOSES.

Holy brethren, God laughs, ha, ha, at those who foolishly and falsely teach others that they can be saved or made righteous through men, even wonderful men like Joshua and Moses or others. God regards such as false teachers and  meddling fools who try to drag Christians back to the Mosaic Law that God has delivered them from. Thankfully, true believers refuse to hear or pay any attention to false teachers whose vain aim is to derail them from their steadfast faith in Jesus. Christ.

Praise God, for true Christians who always believe on the King of glory, and put their trust in Him, Jesus Christ, the Saviour for all men. Every Christian should boldly and fearlessly cast off promptly false teachings as God has empowered every Christian to do. Lord Jesus we glorify you, just as Moses, Joshua, and All the prophets and apostles did.

None of those holy men tried to SABOTAGE  the New Covenant of Jesus Christ, but submitted in joy to the will of God who appointed Jesus Christ alone as our eternal Saviour for all who believe.

1 John 1: 10If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

John boldly and unapologetically ends this chapter stating that if we or anybody says that they have never ever committed any sin whatsoever, they are calling the sinless Saviour Jesus Christ a liar. This proves absolutely that neither the word nor the Spirit of Jesus Christ is in them.

 Powerfully we, and everyone who has ONCE confessed our sins to the only Saviour can greatly rejoice and have God’s everlasting truth, because He is righteous and through His ONE TIME sacrifice of   His SINLESS body and blood  cleanses ALL who believe from ALL sin. Note neither God nor  John absolutely EVER commands Christians  to go back to the practice of  any form of the Mosaic Law, nor to serve the Law as He required of ALL of them under it. God is eternally calling His people and even the whole world to believe in the perfect Law of grace through the New Covenant of Jesus Christ. All things God commanded starting with  Moses, Joshua etc. was under the Law. Rejoice and greatly rejoice brothers and sisters that Jesus Christ has redeemed us from the Law and It curse, AND OBTAINED FOR ALL WHO BELIEVE ETERNAL PERMANENT FORGIVENESS FROM GOD.

God is no longer calling all men to have "good success” through obeying the Law of Moses. God is calling all men and women forever to believe in His Son JESUS CHRIST OF THE NEW COVENANT,  and be made HOLY through faith in His Name.

God has given us 1 John 1:9 as an eternal book mark in our hearts of the full assurance of ever lasting salvation and eternal forgiveness from God through Jesus Christ for all who believe.

Lord Jesus spoke a parable of the Publican under the Law of how he justified himself UNDER THE LAW Luke 18:9And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: 10Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. 11The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. 12I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. 13And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. 14I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

That was then, under the Law, but Now under the final, finished, eternal standard of Lord Jesus Christ’s New Covenant written in His SINLESS BLOOD, He declared what He has done for everyone who believes in Him. It is clear that the Pharisee tried to make himself the standard for righteousness, which God rejects. God also makes it clear that while it is true the Publican was justified-it was totally UNDER THE LAW, just as God required THEN.

It is gross error for anyone to teach that Christ's sacrifice still leaves you incomplete or that something else is needed to make you acceptable to God. When we believe in Christ, he makes us complete not any method to gain salvation through good deeds or any further works to be made right with God. (See scripture re. good works through God.)

We do not glorify men or think that our understanding of scripture comes from mere intellectual origins of the human mind, or is conferred through men, this includes women too, or scholarly degrees handed down from men, nor private interpretations of scripture from the imaginations of mere men, nor through human traditions or doctrines of mere men.

Again, brethren, salvation is instant, but it takes time for Christians to come into the understanding of the full message of the New Covenant of Jesus Christ. We can all be so thankful and give God all the glory who through Lord Jesus Christ gives us the right, privilege, power, and delight to fellowship and partner with the Holy Spirit in teaching one another and helping one another to grow in the knowledge and understanding of the eternal love and truth of the New Covenant of Jesus Christ. Remember, Jesus Christ is not calling His people back to the Law of Moses, but unto Himself. Jesus Christ wants us to understand God's purpose for the Law that He has freed us from forever by His power.

Next, holy brothers and sisters, we will examine more in the book of John, and also at some point look into God’s  FINAL, ETERNAL, standard for sin, what it is and how it relates to the Christian After salvation. I pray brethren, that the everlasting love and joy in Lord Jesus Christ will keep you in His peace and rest.
