THE
ADDICT INSIDE THE CHURCH
Brothers
and sisters, again, there is nothing here promoting anti government sentiments.
Our government and our scientists have done a great deal of good. However, in certain
cases there are areas where it has not acted in the interest equally of all the
people. There is nothing here against laws holding people accountable to obey
them or pay the consequences. But the Law should and must apply equally to all
without exception. When it doesn’t, holy people, as citizens we all have the
rights to speak the truth about it, without being seen as an enemy.
Currently,
holy people, it appears that certain elements of government are headed towards decriminalizing
certain drugs, and set to change the national laws to remove some drugs from
being illegal i.e., no penalty for sale, manufacture, distribution, or
possession.
Introduced
in Senate (07/23/2019) Marijuana
Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act of 2019 or the MORE Act of 2019 This
bill decriminalizes marijuana.Specifically, it removes marijuana from the list
of scheduled substances under the Controlled Substances Act and eliminates
criminal penalties for an individual who manufactures, distributes, or
possesses marijuana. The bill also makes other changes, including the
following:
- replaces statutory references
to marijuana and marihuana with cannabis,
- requires the Bureau of Labor
Statistics to regularly publish demographic data on cannabis business
owners and employees,
- establishes a trust fund to support
various programs and services for individuals and businesses in
communities impacted by the war on drugs,
- imposes a 5% tax on cannabis products
and requires revenues to be deposited into the trust fund,
- makes Small Business Administration
loans and services available to entities that are cannabis-related
legitimate businesses or service providers,
- prohibits the denial of federal
public benefits to a person on the basis of certain cannabis-related
conduct or convictions,
- prohibits the denial of benefits and
protections under immigration laws on the basis of a cannabis-related
event (e.g., conduct or a conviction), and
- establishes a process to expunge
convictions and conduct sentencing review hearings related to federal
cannabis offenses.
Brothers and sisters, drugs didn’t help the
addicts, those who use them just to get high who are people of color, it didn’t
help poor white people, it didn’t help rich folks who had and have access to as
many and as much drugs as they desire, and now our government is proposing to
use it to “help” all the addicts, but really the target is mainly a certain
middle- class population. Underneath all of this is the smell of a cash cow for a financially strapped government.
Through government led
and paid church surrogates, among others, it is evident that entry has been
made into some congregations with the purpose to break the stigma Christians
rightly maintain against addictions, by teaching them that addictions are not a
sin but a mental/medical disease. Saints, (G40 hagios), this is clearly a
constitutional violation and a covert meddling
with the people of God, in hopes of making addictions acceptable to the population in general. This is contrary to the eternal truth of the Bible, which teaches
the inerrant truth that addiction is sin, and sin leads to death. We have to ponder,
brethren, if we are on the cusp of seeing nations becoming the new enabler/drug
czars of the world, because of the astronomical revenue to be gained through
the control and sale of drugs. I pray this will never happen.
We know, dearly beloveds,
that we now have open addicts in some churches, individually, and through
various named groups where they can focus solely on their respective
addictions, of which there are many more than that of drugs and/or alcohol. Some
are struggling and come for help because they want to change. Some are content
to have a place where they can find comfort with those similar to themselves,
and focus on coping issues with no real intent to change. These groups more
often than not operate with their own theology/ teachings, unto themselves, and
apart from the general body of brothers and sisters, and the teachings as laid
out in scripture. Therefore, they are inside of the church, however, they are absolutely
not inside of Jesus Christ according to the eternal, inerrant truth of the Bible. love serola

Since the 1990s, there
have been seven clinical trials, and considerable clinical experience,
in supervised injectable opioid treatment (SIOT) for
individuals who, despite previous treatments, continue to inject illicit heroin
and experience harmful health and social consequences.

Addiction is not a disease — and we’re treating addicts ..post.com/2015/07/12/addiction-is-not-a-disease...
Addiction is not a
disease. It’s simply a nasty habit, says neuroscientist Dr. Marc Lewis,
himself a longtime addict and professor of developmental psychology, in his new
book, “ The Biology of...
Earlier, dearly beloveds,
I shared that when I was a child, how my family handled my three uncles who had
problems with alcohol by taking control over administering the amount and times
to give them alcohol, in hopes of
preventing them from becoming drunks. As I mentioned earlier, it didn’t prevent
one uncle from sneaking off to get alcohol and drink to drunkenness and later
becoming severely ill, due to organ damage, where he just stopped drinking
because of it.
Brothers and sisters, I remember one day
escorting this uncle to another relative’s house, because he was not allowed to
be alone for fear that he would drink, when a man I never knew before called
out to him and offered him a bottle of alcohol. The man and my uncle told me
not to tell anyone. My uncle and the man ran off leaving me there. Even back
then there were enablers, and this one did it secretly.
When I arrived at my
relative’s house without him, they asked in what direction did my uncle go, and
set out to get him. As a child I remember how sad and disappointed I felt in my
uncle, and all the trouble he was causing our family. As an adult looking back,
I know they did what they thought was right out of ignorance and the lack of
biblical knowledge.
Interestingly, we find
certain of the pro addictions as disease scientists thinking that administering
supervised opioid injections to drug addicts is the way to go, despite the fact
that carrying out such treatments would violate certain current federal
criminal laws. Then there are some former addicts and scientists among others
who do not see addictions as either a medical nor mental disorder, but a nasty
habit. Many believe that supervised opioid injection treatments will result in
chemical lobotomies. Then too there is nothing to prevent those being treated
from still using other drugs, as most studies found multi drug usages among
many addicts. One might ponder if a government agency funded and sponsored these treatments, which clearly violates current federal laws, would federal sedition laws come into play against them?
Dearly beloveds, these powerful narcotics are needed to help those who truly suffer from severe pains of certain conditions and diseases, and those at the end of life. They were never meant for the aches and pains that might come with the aging body. We still have a great number of persons of color and poor whites who were not drug dealers, but were found with small amounts of marijuana or drugs on them and got long prison sentences, or a prison record that ruined their lives. This is still going on today. There is little mentioned about setting up a national program to pay the expenses of babies born addicted, and those injured through acts done by those under the influence. There is not one program to teach the addict the truth, that regardless of the treatment given, he or she might still face a long period or a life time of intense craving for the drugs as a consequence self induced addiction. On the horizon are lawsuits being brought against some treatment centers for wrongful death suits. Many are warning that teaching people they are victims can become a self fulfilling prophecy.
There is nothing in
scripture whatsoever, holy brethren, that teaches drunkenness, or a lack of
sobriety is a sickness that God heals. Instead, the Bible clearly states that drunkenness/
a lack of sobriety is self-induced. There is nothing spiritual about it. People
have the power, responsibility and accountability to cease the practice with or without help or
suffer the consequences if they don’t. No one says it is easy to do, nor fast,
but God clearly teaches it can be done if a person wants to do it. Certainly, the
gentleman who frankly faced up to the truth that he was responsible for ruining
his own life proved he was not a victim and had the power of being accountable
to get his life back. Jesus Christ is the One all should look to for true life. He is the Supreme
Expert on all matters concerning abundant life.
Brothers and sisters, we
know without doubt that the worst problem any human being can ever have for
all time is to die without Jesus Christ. it would not matter if a person
conquered a thousand addictions, or never had an addiction, which is just a
fraction of the many sins on eart, God hates all sins. Every human being is
born a spiritually dead sinner. Jesus Christ
is the only one who can take away sins and give eternal life. Now is the time
to believe the absolute eternal truth of God: Believe that Jesus Christ is the
Son of God who died on the cross to pay for ALL your sins and rose again. Confess this to
Him with your mouth and believe this eternal truth in your heart and He will
forgive you of all your sins, save you, fill you with the Holy Spirit, and make
you a child of God, delivered from the wrath of God to come. DON’T WAIT UNTIL
TOMORROW, TOMORROW MIGHT BE TOO LATE DO IT NOW!!!
