IDOLATRY (part five) Holy brothers and sisters of the Lord Jesus our Righteousness, it is evident that some today value their personal opinions about God and how He should operate over the unadulterated Holy Bible. Nevertheless God does not rule by the opinion poll of mere men (or women). He does not go about with His Holy Finger in the wind to see which way He should go, nor does He have the slightest interest in the dictates and opinions of mere men. He Himself says in His word: kjv. Isa. 40:17 All nations before Him are as nothing; and they are counted to Him less than nothing, and vanity. Da. 4:35And ALL the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and He doeth according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth: and NONE can stay His hand or say unto Him, What doest thou? Dear saints, we must notice that idolatry is depicted in the scriptures as taking place privately, publicly, secretly, in the dark, in the light, on hills, under trees, in basements, in the imagination, and in the heart-the place where all worship takes place. The scriptures further points out that where there is idolatry, there is no limit to the depths of depravity, violence, and perversion to which men will sink. (to be continued)

IDOLATRY (part four)
Dear friends, it should be abundantly clear from our previous study in part three, that God is not passive about idolatry of any kind in any way shape or form. God forbids idolatry in any and all of its forms. He forbids it absolutely, without any exceptions-NO EXCEPTIONS. Dear Children of light some might say " it is true we do worship some idols, but we worship God TOO, doesn't that make it all right?" This is mixed worship of the Lord, mingled with idol worship. Hear the words of the Lord: Ex. 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD whose name is jealous, is a jealous God... Jer. 25:6 And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt. Isa. 42:8 I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Come closer, dear saints, this also is some really hot news, also straight off of God's everlasting press and it is still front page news: 1Sa. 5:1 And the phillistines took the ark of God, and brought it from eben-ezer unto Ashdod. 5:2 When the Phillistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon 5:3 And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again. 5:4 And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him. Don't mess with God! God will not accept mixed worship of Himself alongside or with any idol of any kind. Let us look further still, dear children, into the word of God: 2Co. 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 6:16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols; for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you... to be continued

WE SHALL NOT BOW OURSELVES DOWN TO IDOLS
IDOLATRY (PART three)
Holy nation of Christ I believe in any study of idolatry it must be made perfectly clear, that God is the Creator, and Maker of ALL creation, and He alone is all powerful, and has all and complete authority, over all peoples, and all things, who alone is worthy of all worship. Children of the blessed God, we have looked at how God, threw down satan, and put him in his place. Now let's look and see that He also knows how to put a man in His place, that dares to attempt to place himself higher than God. We are going to see that no one can mess with God with impunity. Da. 4: 30-32 kjv re. king Nebuchadnezzar. The king spake, and said, is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, of thee it is spoken; the kingdom is departed from thee. And they shall drive thee from men and thy dwelling place shall be with the beasts of the field: and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men and giveth it to whomsoever He will. Note what the king had to say in the end: kjv. Da. 4:34-37 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured Him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation: And ALL the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and He doeth according to His will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay His hand, or say unto Him, What doest thou? At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and His ways judgment: and those that walk in pride He is able to abase. As God did then, He is doing now, He will always resist the prideful, but is able to raise up the humble. Jesus is not going to share His glory with anything or anyone. (to be continued)

WE SHALL NOT BOW OURSELVES DOWN TO IDOLS
IDOLATRY(PART TWO) Holy brethren, we shall define what idolatry is, and its origins. The first one to commit idolatry is satan. It began with him, and resulted in his fall. It ends with him in the book of revelation, and results in him being cast alive in the lake of fire for eternal destruction and everlasting punishment by God. It should be noted, dear saints, as at the beginning others chose to follow satan, namely the angels that sinned. Also at the end, those who choose to follow him shall have their portion in the lake of fire with the devil and his angels. It is to be noted that nowhere in the scriptures are any of those who fell with satan excused. "The devil made me do it" excuse will not work with God. The definition of idolatry, is to be found in the scriptures: kjv Isa. 14:12-16 How art thou fallen from heaven, o lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds: I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. Saints, lets look further into the scriptures: kjv Lk. 4: 4-8 And the devil, taking Him up into an high mountain, showed unto Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto Him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, satan for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve. Now look at this saints: kjv Lk. 10:17-20 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And He said unto them, I beheld satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nothwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven. Here we see dear Children of light, Jesus says that only God alone is to be worshipped. We also see here that God has given satan SOME power, for God's purpose, and which God is in control of. But we see that God always retains ALL power, and He alone gives His children power over All the enemies power. No form of idolatry is acceptable to God. Idolatry first takes place in the heart, is formed in the thoughts, and expressed through the tongue, and actions. It exalts itself or seeks to place itself over and above God, and indeed seeks to be God, and ascribes to itself the attributes of God. Finally it demands worship as God. It is satanic in origins, and its unrepentent practitioners shall ultimately be destroyed by God. The underlying motivation is pride. The idol springs from a source-the heart of rebellion against God. Friends, God is no one to play with or denigrate, for He alone is God, and will not give His glory to idols. WE SHALL NOT BOW OURSELVES DOWN TO IDOLS
IDOLATRY
Holy Brethren, in this study of idolatry, we will define it according to the scriptures. Although most of us know this, we will also cite why God forbids the practice and worship of idols. Blessed children of the living God we will also take time to look at the scriptures depiction of various types of idolatry. We will also look at modern day idolatry, I suspect that some aspects of modern day idolatry is not always recognized as such, and some may be surprised at some of the places where it is practiced, sometimes in ignorance, sometimes in a misinterpretation of the Bible, and sometimes wilfully, for gain. The purpose of every study here is to glorify Jesus, and encourage our hearts to love Him more and more in spirit and in truth. It goes without saying that His love for us is always incendiary, FOR OUR GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE! Lord, I give you all love, thanks, praise and honor, for all that you will enable me to do here. Father bless us your saints with knowledge, power and great discernment to always be devoted and dedicated to offering our worship only to you. You alone, Holy Father are worthy of all of our love, worship, adoration, adulation, honor and praise. Lord Jesus, we humble ourselves under your mighty hand, and exalt your name over every name, even our own. We confess with all that is in us that you alone are GOD and besides you, there is none other. Jesus our Saviour and great Highpriest over the house of God, we declare you alone to be our first Love, to whom we owe all things and everything, even ourselves. Be blessed Majestic One, walk in the power of your might and stretch out your mighty hand that your name alone shall be greatly magnified in all the earth, and glorified above all your creations. Holy spirit, we give you thanks for leading us always into all truth and for being our inerrent teacher of all things that God desires for us to know, to grow and establish us in everlasting truth.

END OF WHO SHALL BE GOD? STUDY
Dear friends, beloveds of God, we have come to the end of this study. The whole purpose of this study is to glorify Jesus, and be an instrument to bring ever increasing love and worship to His Holy Name. You will not find ten steps to better Christian living here. You will not find the answer to how to enter a spiritual never, never land where no trials, tribulations or troubles ever enter. Nor will you find a mantra, certain words to repeat over and over to ensure you a life of stress free living. Dear saints it's all about Jesus, or it's about nothing at all. Here is the first and greatest commandment of them all, from Jesus our Saviour Himself. Mk. 12:30 (kjv) Hear O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord THY God, with All thy heart, and with ALL thy soul, and with ALL thy mind, and wth ALL thy strength: This is the first commandment. Mk. 12:31 And the second is like, namely this thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. there is None Other commandment greater than these. There you have it dear children of the living God, in everything, no matter what is going on in our lives. Let us believe what He said about Himself and about His saints. Let us act upon what He said. Let us speak where GOD speaks, and let us speak the same things God speaks, and where God is silent in His word, let us be silent. Let us place Jesus first above all things. I end this study with this prayer. Lord, I pray that we your saints will love you with All that is in us, holding nothing back. So much so Lord Jesus, that we will love, honor and bless you no matter what is going on in our lives, good or bad. Father you need nothing from anyone or anything, you are complete and eternally self existent. Lord, but we need you, and there is nothing of any value without you. You alone are our Shield, and our Rock, our ever present help that we can boldly turn to at all times, and in all things. Jesus, we know without any doubt, that you are well able to lift us up in you as we come to you, loving you, and seeking to place you first. Give us patience to stand fast in love and obedience in everything, that your name will be glorified above all in love. love serola ADDITIONAL NOTE:
As I ended this study, dear saints, I pondered if some might think it did not answer the question of how to break strongholds in our lives. Nevertheless I am comfident in the Lord that if we can wrap our minds and hearts around doing the first, great, and most important of all the commandments, the will and the ability to do the others will follow. May the Lord Jesus, Lord of might, power and glory open up our understanding to reveal to each and every one of us His dear children, that no stronghold can stand against God. love serola

WHO SHALL BE GOD/
WHO GOD MADE YOU IN HIM- PART 6 Beloved in Christ, our study will continue, as I mentioned earlier it will not be a fast study, nor a passive one. May the Holy Ghost encourage our hearts, to medi tate, reflect, and lovingly commune with the Father of lights, to meet us at the point of our needs, to increase us in living, loving and understanding our Lord, who alone is worthy of our worship. Jesus is our sinless perfection, who so loved us and gave Himself for us, that we can truly live and really love one another and even our enemies. We, the saints of the living God are created beings, made by the Creator of all life. We came from Him and we belong to Him, He owns us, and not ourselves. Here are some scriptures regarding who He made us in Him, they are not exhaustive, and feel free, dear, dear ones to look up others as you desire. 1. SAVED BY GRACE- the gift of God, unearned, unrepayable, and unmerited. 2. SEALED AND INDWELT BY God the Father, Jesus God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. 3. Kept by God from falling, to be presented to Him faultless and with great joy. Jude 1:24 3.New Creatures in Christ Jesus. 2Co. 5:17 4. Intercession made for the saints by the Holy Spirit. Ro. 8:26 5. Called to be saints, and santified in Christ Jesus.1Co. 1:2 6. Children and heirs of God. Ro. 8:16-17 7. Children of light. Eph. 5:8 8. Holy brethren 1Th. 5:27 9. Holy priesthood, lively stones-enabled to offer up spiritual sacrifices to God.1Peter 2:5 10. Chosen generation, royal priesthood, holy nation, peculiar people.1peter 2:9 11. Our sins are forgiven and remembered no more.Heb. 8:12 12. We can rejoice because-Names written in heaven. Luke 10:20 13. Sin shall not have dominion over us.Ro. 6:14 14. Loved by God and will never be abandoned. Ro. 8:37, Heb. 13:5 15. We can come boldly to the throne of Grace for help. Heb 4:16 16. We can boldly say the Lord is our help, we don't have to fear men. Heb. 13:16 Lord Jesus I pray, that we, your holy children, may take the time to reflect and meditate on who you have made us in you. Father if there be any doubt, Lord if there be any slowness of heart, Holy Spirit if there be any lack in understanding, any hesitancy of accepting the unadulterated word of the living God,Please bring us to the place of complete faith in you. Let us say in faith Holy children of the Blessed living God, "God, your way is the only right way, and the only right way is God's way." Let us say that God is always good all the time." Now Lord Jesus thanks always for hearing this humble prayer. Please, Great One, meet each of us at our point of need, and strengthen us in our love, trust and relationship to you. Holy One, I know you do all things well, take these poor words of mine, and breath life and understanding in them, that will enrich your saints, and glorify your Holy Name in ever increasing love. love serola
