Heb
8:12For I will be
merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I
remember no more. ( See Jer
31:32-34; Isa
38:17 ).
Rom 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom
the Lord will not impute sin. (See this whole chapter).
Impute: to reckon, count, compute, calculate,
count over
A. to take into account, to make an
account of
i.metaph.
to pass to one's account, to impute.
1Jo 3:6 - Whosoever
abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known
him.
God no longer sees the Christian as a sinner,
because they are permanently saved through faith in Jesus Christ who is God’s
absolute final finished complete standard for being made completely cleansed
and made free of sin and completely delivered for all time from the Law of sin,
death, curse, and punishment. Rom 5:13 - (For
until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
Rom 8:2 - For
the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of
sin and death.
Those
who are delivered from the Law of sin and death meet God’s final, absolute
standard for Him no longer ever counting a saved person as a sinner:
Permanent Justification through faith in Jesus
Christ
Dearly beloveds, the justification that
God gives the believer will extend throughout eternity. The reason is the saint
is in an eternal Savior (Revelation 22:13), who purchased with an eternal
redemption (Hebrews 9:12), an eternal salvation (Hebrews 5:9), that
supplies him with eternal life (John 10:28)! Furthermore, since the saint is
sinless, more than that righteousness in Jesus Christ, "Who shall lay
anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.Who is he that
condemneth? It is Christ that died..." (Romans 8:33-34). If the Holy,
Righteous, Sinless, Perfect, and Eternal God of Heaven cannot find anything
wrong with the standing of the justified Christian, who can?
Holy people, the instant one believes
through faith in Jesus Christ, his soul is cut loose from his flesh by a
spiritual circumcision performed by Christ (Colossians 2:10-15). As a result,
the believer is no longer a slave to his old, Adamic nature (though he can
still yield to it); he is set free and permanently
filled with the Holy Spirit to serve in his new righteous nature which is
Christ's. The saint is now capable of living a holy life that is pleasing to
God (Romans 6:11-23; Colossians 3:1-4).
Every Christian knows what it means to be
tempted. However, being tempted to sin is not a sin in itself. The Lord
was tempted in all the areas we are, yet He did not sin (Hebrews 2:17-18). God
will allow His people to be tempted for several reasons. Some of them are: to
try their faith (1 Peter 1:7), to keep them humble and dependent on Him (1
Peter 5:6), to cause them to know the victory that is in Christ (Hebrews 2:18),
and to enable them to win the crown of life (James 1:2-4, 12).
The devil can tempt
anyone including the believer, but he has no power whatsoever to make them
carry it out by doing it. The believer has power over sin and instead of
cowering and struggling against sin he or she must take the stance of a well
trained soldier to defeat any temptation regardless of its source whether the
world, the flesh (including our own), or the devil. Our permanent spiritual
stance in understanding and facing temptation: Jas 1: - My
brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations…(See this whole
chapter). Love serola

Heb 8:10For this is the covenant that
I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will
put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to
them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
Dearly
beloveds, there is no separate covenant for salvation for the nation of Israel,
nor have Christians replaced Israel. God will keep certain specific promises to
Israel, however, they along with the gentiles all have to come to God through faith
in His Son Jesus Christ and both be made one in Him: Rom 11:25-36, see this whole
chapter.
Eph 4:4 There
is one body, and one
Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;5 One Lord, one
faith, one baptism, 6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and
through all, and in you all.7But unto every one of us is given grace according
to the measure of the gift of Christ. (See Eph 2:12-22).
Heb 8:11And they shall not teach every man
his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall
know me, from the least to the greatest.
God
is no longer writing His commands on stone that can be forgotten, or too
difficult to get to all the people. Through the superior, the better new
covenant His truth and love is written in the hearts and minds of all who
believe in and on His Son Jesus Christ. This is the way everyone who believes
and obey Him can truly know Him, regardless of their status, small, or great
and anyone in between, He is no respecter of persons.
HE
IS THE GOD ONLY TO THOSE NEAR OR FAR WHO COME TO HIM THROUGH THE NEW COVENANT
OF HIS SON JESUS CHRIST, WHETHER JEW OR GENTILE. Eph

should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in

IN HEBREWS
Heb 8:7For if that first covenant had
been faultless, then should no place have been
sought for the second.
8For finding fault with them, he
saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant
with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9Not according to the covenant that I
made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them
out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I
regarded them not, saith the Lord.
Faultless:
unblameable; irreproachable; free from fault or defect; deserving
no censure.
Brothers
and sisters, with spiritual ferocity, the Bible keeps bringing all back again,
and again, to the absolute, uncompromising, eternal, explicit, exclusive,
exhaustive truth that God the Father disannulled the old covenant of the Law of
sin, the curse and punishment, and brought forth through His Son Jesus Christ,
the final, fixed, eternal and complete new covenant- the sole standard for
permanent righteousness and atonement for all sins for all who will believe in
and on Him.
The
Bible over and over, points out in full detail down to the minutiae God’s purpose
for the old covenant of the Law to relentlessly rip the lids off of all men to display
their corrupt, vile, evil sinful inborn nature, and cause them to hunger and
long for a better covenant to rescue and deliver them from all their sins, all
who will believe in and on Jesus Christ. it is without question that Israel
never kept the old covenant of the Law, for scarcely out of Egypt they built a
golden calf, unopposed by the designated high priest Aaron, even before he was
ordained into office. It goes without saying their penchant for idols even to
the point of burning their children in sacrifice to the idol Moloch: Jer 32:35 And
they built the high places of
Baal, which are in the
valley of the son of Hinnom, to
cause their sons and their daughters to pass
through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my
mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
Moses
could not keep the Law, Aaron could not keep the Law, Israel did not keep the
Law, and neither will me you nor anyone else: Rom 3:20 - Therefore by the deeds
of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is
the knowledge of sin.
Think
on this, holy people, the whole new covenant without mixture of the old
covenant of the Law or any other doctrine is the sole basis for entering into
the kingdom of God for all eternity.
Brethren,
the Bible warns against the false doctrine of salvation based on being a
scholar with humanistic knowledge of the “historical” Jesus, the “early church”,
resting in being able to conjugate in five different languages, and/or being an
expert in ancient tomes of obscure teachers, dusty scrolls, and the vile mutterings
of dead “professing” unbiblical “heroes of theology” and everything else except the truth
of scripture. These so- called scholars, gurus of man -made good news, lovers of
the long robes of scholastic apparel, ornate scholastic jewelry, love being
lauded for their “scholarly” knowledge/works and various degrees in esoteric
areas of useless academic knowledge have failed to enter the kingdom of God. Much of
what they teach leads people away from Christ, and engenders discord and
confusion about salvation.
Humanistic
knowledge is never a substitute for faith in Christ alone, by grace alone, by
faith alone, not of works lest any man should boast:
1Co 13:2 - And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all
mysteries, and all knowledge;
and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not
charity, I am nothing.
1Co 13:8 - Charity never faileth:
but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be
tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
Col 1:10 -
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in
every good work, and increasing in the knowledge
of God;
Col 2:3 - In
whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
1Co 13:13 - And now abideth faith,
hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Heb
8: 1Now of the
things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high
priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the
heavens; 2A minister of
the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
3For every high
priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of
necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. 4For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing
that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: 5Who
serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was
admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he,
that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the
mount. 6But now hath he
obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a
better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
In
summation, saints (G40 hagios). the Bible lays it out in absolute terms, and
casts down the false theology of the mix and match gospel, i.e. parts of the
Law mixed in with the gospel message. Once
the Law is brought in for righteousness, the whole Law must be kept under pain
of death, punishment, the curse, and condemnation of sin.
Here God is pointing
out with spiritual neon signs-Jesus Christ is the sole anointed Saviour and
high priest forever, there is absolutely no compromise; no alternatives, no plan B’s, no multiple choices; no mixing of
Law with grace to His new covenant. Jesus Christ is the whole eternal package: Jesus
Christ alone has God’s anointing and appointment as high priest, Saviour,
Mediator forever. Jesus Christ alone is the Author of the eternal new covenant and
the sole source of obtaining righteousness through faith in Him; Jesus Christ alone
in His ministry for His people has access into the true sanctuary in heaven directly
before the throne of God, face to face with Him.
Brothers
and sisters, Jesus Christ is our Man in direct face to face contact with God Almighty
in our behalf. There is no “special salvation” for unbelieving Jews; but God has
not abandoned them: (see Rom 11).
If
anyone knows the truth and will not come believing in Jesus Christ, God calls every
one of them His adversaries, enemies. Whether one has reached stellar heights
as a scholar; or lauded for being at the height of intellectual elucidation, or
just a nice person who feels that they have the authority and its okay to mix
the gospel with the Law or other so- called religions; Repent! Repent for the
sake of your immortal soul, and come believing in Jesus Christ the Lord and Saviour
for the pardon of all your sins, lest you die and open your eyes in hell to
await the final judgement in the eternal lake of fire.

JOURNEY IN HEBREWS
Heb7:26For such an high priest became us, who
is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than
the heavens; 27Who needeth
not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own
sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
28For the law
maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which
was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.
Praise
God for giving us this perfect high priest. The power of Jesus Christ has
forever taken away our sins so that we are free to serve Him in the newness of
the eternal life He has given us, instead of the old sin nature of the old man.
Rom 6:22.
JESUS
CHANGED EVERYTHING
Jesus
changed the high priest from dying humans to become the sole undying eternal
high priest appointed and anointed by God the Father.
Jesus
changed the Passover from ineffectual animal body and blood to His sinless body
and blood to make atonement for all who believe in and on Him..
Jesus
changed the priesthood, He washed sinners in His own sinless blood and made
them saints (G40 hagios) and priests with eternal life.
Jesus
changed the sanctuary from bricks and stone on earth to the true sanctuary in
heaven where He makes intercession for His people before the throne of God without
ceasing.
JESUS
CHRIST CHANGED THE TITHE
Jesus
changed the tithe-OH YES, HE DID!!!- from carnal corrupt material offerings to the
incorruptible currency of eternal love and truth, which only His people can
offer up to Him.
The
fact that God is love is not a euphemism. God knows we need money etc. for
things on earth, but the currency of the eternal kingdom is love, based in the
truth of the eternal new covenant. None of the new covenant of Jesus Christ is
permitted by God to be suborned under any Christian. We are all commanded to be
followers of Jesus although He has given some greater responsibility.
Brothers
and sisters, we should greatly rejoice that our sinless saviour forever
consecrated by God the Father as our high priest is incorruptible. It is
absolutely clear that Jesus Christ has changed the tithe in that only those
offering their love and trust can give, for He receives nothing less. 1Jo 4:8
- He that loveth not
knoweth not God; for God is love.
Jhn 14:23 - Jesus answered and said unto him,
If a man love me, he will keep
my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our
abode with him.
Some
have been so brainwashed to see the tithe as only material things, set amounts
of money, goods, service. Not so, holy people, Jesus Christ wants to know if
you did it out of love for Him? Or did you do it to please men, make a name for
yourself or any other reason besides doing it for Him?
Act 15:24
- Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went
out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye
must be circumcised, and keep
the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
1Jo 5:3 - For this is the love of God, that
we keep his commandments: and
his commandments are not grievous.
All
servant leaders are commanded by God to absolutely teach the flock only as set
forth in scripture. Servant leaders can
ask the church for funds for various works but the same standards apply for
giving every time, as aforementioned.
Since
we do not call the works we do, the money and ministry to the brethren and
other service and things we give on earth a tithe, exactly what do we call all
this? These are the commands of God setting forth His standards and the
boundaries regulating the lives of all Christians in His service that instruct
us how we are to live out of love, trust, and obedience to Him.
We cannot say often enough that Jesus Christ,
being the only saviour and perfect high priest carefully observes all that we give
and do not only in giving our material things. He alone can evaluate without
error the content of the heart, and motives of the giver and doer on earth.
Therefore, Jesus weighs the motives/intents/purposes of the hearts in whatever
the Christian gives or does to see if love and truth for Him and others is the
source of their giving and doing. Then the intrinsic spiritual value of these things are weighed, by
Jesus our Lord, accepted as tithes and saved in our accounts in heaven from
which we will be rewarded on earth and in heaven. Jesus said: Mat 6:19- : stinginess forbidden- 2Co 9:6; heart/attitude in giving-2Co 9:7; unwise giving to be avoided-2Co 8:13; rewarded-Luk 6:38;
first things first-Mat 6:33.
Again and again, holy people, Jesus Christ instructs
us that He accepts no tithe not done out of love and truth.
Christians are forbidden to allow anyone to
put them in bondage by falsely claiming the authority to keep an account of how
much they give. Servant leaders are commanded by God to teach the truth of
scripture, guide, discipline, help believers to grow and live according to the
will of God out of love and trust in Jesus Christ. In conclusion, the Bible has
established two tithes which God forbids to ever be combined. The carnal
corruptible Levitical tithe under the Law forbidden to Christians and all
others except for the nation of Israel alone on this present earth. The new
covenant incorruptible spiritual eternal tithe of Jesus Christ which is done out of love by His people for Him. Without error Jesus weighs the intrinsic
spiritual value of our offering of love to Him, which He saves in our account
in heaven from which we are rewarded on earth and will be in heaven as well.

Mar 12:30 And
thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and
with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first

Mar 12:31 And
the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as
thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
We are commanded to love God back the way He first and always

IN HEBREWS
Heb
7: 23And they truly
were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of
death: 24But this man,
because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. 25Wherefore he
is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he
ever liveth to make intercession for them.
We
can absolutely trust in the faithfulness, love, and power of the unchanging
high priest Jesus Christ. His love is unfailing, His life is unending, His
power is limitless, and He is always working for the glory of God and the good
of His people. He has empowered us to love Him back with everything in us and
everything we have. Jesus Christ rejects the lukewarm and the cold of heart.
As
we examine the tithes with those priests under the Mosaic or Levitical
priesthood of the Law, holy people, we find them to be grossly inferior in too
many ways to number in comparison to our perfect everlasting high priest Jesus
Christ.
THE
NEW COVENANT TITHE OF JESUS CHRIST
Jesus
Christ is the absolute Head of the church, whom we serve out of love not fear
of punishment, death or a curse. Jesus Christ is the only one worthy to be Head
of the church forever.
No
Christian has authority from God to command, or compel Christians to give them
a tithe. Tithing churches are in rebellion, heavily involved with secular
government such as 501c etc. programs so that their members can deduct fifty
percent of their tithes from their income taxes. They take money from the
government to fund their programs- ALL THEY HAVE TO DO FOR IT IS TO KEEP THEIR
BIBLES OUT OF SIGHT AND NEVER TELL ANYBODY COMING IN TO THEM ABOUT THE
GOSPEL!!! If such servant leaders really trusted that God’s way is best, they
would not so rebel in choosing their own way to get financial support- which is
sin.
Needless to say, brothers and sisters, on
earth Those commanding Christians to tithe take them with no care about the
sincerity of the giver. They do not care about the contents or the motives in
the heart of the giver, but the contents of their wallets. Nor do they care if
what they receive is a burden on the giver or further impoverishes the poor. They
greedily demand the tithe from kids’ allowances, teens’ after school work,
grandmas’ social security check, disabled welfare/disability checks, the
homeless too, and will not overlook grandpas’ meager nursing home stipend. Often,
such men squander away what is given, and often it only benefits themselves.
They give no accountability and will get angry and hostile if anybody asks.
Worse yet they lie and falsely claim God only approves of those who give large
amounts. Yet the Bible says clearly: 1Co 13:3 (see this whole chapter).
Our Lord and saviour is not like them at all.
How do Christians on earth get their tithes up
to Jesus in heaven? We can’t only Jesus Christ can do it for us: The new covenant
tithes are given directly to Jesus it is our love offering from our hearts to Him and are all encompassing of everything the Christian,
does, believes, and thinks in public, private, in relation to Him and others as
His priests on the earth. This is a spiritual tithe that only Christians can give to our Lord and Saviour. However, Jesus weighs the contents/motives/ heart of the believer for only that done out of love is received, and saved in our account in heaven for reward in heaven and on earth.
The
Bible has set the standard for how the church is to consistently support the
Bible based ministry:1Co 9:7. However, no servant leader can command or set
the amount that each Christian must give but is free to set forth his needs and
that of the ministry. In fact, each Christian alone is commanded directly by God
in His word to take stock of what he or she can consistently give for the Lord’s
work without harming their own ability to take care of themselves and family. This
is confirmed in many examples of the new covenant.

JOURNEY
IN HEBREWS
It
is only within the framework of the new covenant kingdom of Jesus Christ that
we can fully understand and obey the tithe that God commands for the Christian
vs the temporal Levitical tithe which He has established explicitly and exclusively
on this present earth for the nation of Israel, forbidden to the Christian and
all others not descended from Levi.
Saints (G40 hagios), let us keep in mind
that once God established the Levitical Law, He forever limited tithing on
earth exclusively to the Levitical priesthood. In this the Bible makes it
absolutely clear that No Christian can qualify to command to give nor receive a
tithe on earth, this should make us as Christians exceedingly glad, not upset
nor troubled in any way.
Disannulling:
abolition, disannulling, put away, rejection.
Weakness:
weak, infirm, feeble.
Unprofitableness:
unprofitable, useless.
Heb
7: 18For there is
verily a disannulling of the commandment going
before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
19For the law
made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the
which we draw nigh unto God. 20And
inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:
21(For those priests were made without
an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and
will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)
22By so much was Jesus made a surety of
a better testament.
God
clearly and absolutely establishes for all eternity the Saviour, His only
begotten Son Jesus Christ alone as the sole eternal high priest and His new covenant
as everlasting and unchanging.
There
are many that say of Christians, in error, that they are “ so heavenly minded
that they are no earthly good” as though one cancels out the other, or that they
cannot both fully operate at the same time. The Bible tells us God empowers/warns/commands
us to do both at the same time: Rom 8:6; Jas 2:16.
Let
us put and keep on our spiritual minds, brothers and sisters, while doing good
on the earth without ceasing.
Just
as earthly kingdoms have changing and adjusting established eligibility standards
for legal admission to their kingdom, and laws establishing bounds of
acceptable conduct, currency, etc. So, admission to the kingdom of God has
established unchanging everlasting easily understood explicit, exclusive standards or
qualifications for everyone to be admitted into the eternal kingdom of the Son: Jhn
3:5 ;Jhn
3:6; Jhn 17:16;Jhn 1:12; Jas 1:22; Rom 10:9; Jhn 14:21; Tit 3:5.
These
alone are qualified and commanded to tithe to Jesus Christ.
Some
might say here-- wait a minute, are you saying we do not have to support the
church on earth? No, I am not saying that, certainly we are commanded and must
consistently support the church among other things, but that is the error among
some Christians today.
The material things we give on earth, brethren,
is not the tithe. Jesus absolutely does not need anything from us seeing that He
owns us and everything in the world. It is not by accident that many Christians
associate the tithe as the stuff we give on earth. Certainly, some church
leaders give lip service to the tithe being about more than money, they don’t
really mean it because if you do not give up that cash, you will be in trouble
with them in a hurry. Love serola

JOURNEY
IN HEBREWS
JESUS
CHRIST CHANGED THE TITHE FOREVER
The
earthly Levitical tithe, again, is used as tools of abuse and bondage among
Christians, while some receiving them give no accountability as they live-in
lavish opulence. Some Christians have lost their homes, retirement funds, College
education money for their kids, inheritances, and gone into debt due to being
tricked into tithing and “sacrificial” giving well beyond their means. Christians, some sincerely teach the Levitical
tithe out of ignorance which no one condemns because we do not have to stay
that way. Some teach it out of
deception, because they do not believe Christians will give willingly, but have
to be forced. Where is the faith of such teachers? The aforementioned is just
one example of many, besides those false Christians who pervert the command to
tithe as a systematic way to rape the finances of believers for gain: 2Pe 2:3
Dearly
beloveds, when we understand that Jesus changed everything through His new covenant
regarding the operation of salvation and the standards for all things within
His realm regarding righteousness, you will never be the same or subject to the
bondage of the Levitical law ever again. Again, there are two tithes established,
ordained and commanded by God:
God
established only one tithe on earth which the high priest of the law alone is
commanded by God to take and receive of the nation of Israel:
Heb 7:5 And verily they that are of the sons
of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take
tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of
their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:
WHY
DID GOD ESTABLISH THE LEVITICAL TITHE ON EARTH?
Num 18:20 And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in
their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part
and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.
Num 18:21 And, behold, I have given
the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their
service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the
congregation.
It
goes without saying that the Levitical priesthood disobeyed God and accepted
spoiled and inferior tithes from the people along with the good. The high priest was no better and did not
hesitate to offer the worst portions of the tithe in sacrifice to God, instead
of the best that God commanded.
Certainly,
holy people, some Christians in error believe the Levitical tithe of the Law
passed over to Christians upon the rising up of Jesus Christ our Lord from the
dead. This is a lie, the Levitical priesthood is an exclusive, explicit temporal
ministry of works done out of fear of punishment, forever closed to Christians
and anyone else not descended from Levi.
Num 3:10 And thou shalt appoint Aaron
and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest's
office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
Jesus
our Lord is descended from the tribe of Judah, God’s standards for taking or
receiving tithes and being a high priest on earth is limited to biological male
descendants of Levi. The Bible backs up the explicit, exclusivity of this
earthly temporal Levitical works ministry: Heb 8:4For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests
that offer gifts according to the law:
So,
holy brethren, the Christian who in error thinks that his/her tithe is
acceptable on earth to God has nowhere to take it. God will not receive it and
God forbids Jesus to accept it. This is because God limited tithing directly on
earth explicitly and exclusively to and for the nation of Israel. Some might
say Jacob tithed before the Law so this means Christians can too. No, because there was no command to tithe
before the Law. Therefore, the Law is God’s final standard for the tithe on
earth.
Of
course, here in Hebrews and other places in scripture the Bible will go on Comparing,
contrasting, and demonstrating that the superiority of our eternal high priest,
and sole sinless Saviour Jesus Christ is far and above the weak inferior earthly
Levitical temporal works ministry of the Law of the curse, punishment and death.
God does not want us to stumble in our understanding that no work of the Law
can make a person acceptable to God.
Brothers
and sisters, we should not make the same mistake that the Jews did in thinking
that the Messiah came to establish an earthly kingdom for men in the flesh.
Jesus said: Jhn 18:36
Jesus answered, My
kingdom is not of this world: if
my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but
now is my kingdom not from hence.
We
leave the tithes commanded by God under the Levitical law on earth with the
understanding that God has forbidden it’s practice by the Christian in its
entirety.
Some
might say hey wait a minute, Jesus told some to tithe, so He meant for Christians to do
the same too. No Jesus told unbelieving Jews to tithe under the Law. Jesus
never told believing Jews to tithe under the Levitical Law. In fact, during the
earthly ministry of Jesus Christ He never directed or commanded anyone to give
or bring Him tithes, for the aforementioned reasons given earlier.

IN HEBREWS
JESUS
CHRIST CHANGES EVERYTHING.
Heb 7:12 For the priesthood being changed,
there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
13 For he of whom these things are
spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the
altar.
14 For it is evident that our Lord
sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
15 And it is yet far more evident: for
that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
16 Who is made, not after the law of a
carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest
for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
Brothers
and sisters, Jesus Christ is appointed by God as the only high priest we need
and there will never be a need for another seeing that He lives for ever to
minister and make intercession for His people.
Dearly
beloveds we have a lot to look at here but let us fully comprehend how Jesus
Christ our Sinless Mediator, Saviour, High Priest, Deliverer, Redeemer, the
Alpha and Omega, Prophet, King of kings and Lord of lords changed the tithe
forever.
JESUS
CHANGED THE TITHE FOREVER-OH YES JESUS CHRIST DID!!!
This,
brothers and sisters, is for those who feel good because they keep their tithes
paid up, until their church leader, perhaps in “ ecclesiastical clothing” puts
on his mean face and intones to the congregation: Mal 3:8
Will
a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee?
In tithes and offerings. Mal 3:9 Ye
are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole
nation. At that point those good feelings of the “all paid up tither” turns to
indignation at anybody having the gall to put a curse on them. Maybe they will
try to reason with the pastor who will pay them no attention but bring forth this
passage to prove he has the authority to curse the congregation. Deu 27:26 Cursed be
he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the
people shall say, Amen. The pastor in ignorance or deception ignores the fact
that he himself is cursed because God forbids anyone not descended from Levi to
take or receive tithes. It is dangerous to mix Law and grace, for God will have
none of it.

IN HEBREWS
Brothers
and sisters, Jesus Christ alone is appointed by God as the eternal Saviour and Head
of the church. It is necessary to say something more regarding this eternal truth
that God never established Peter as head of the church as successor to Jesus Christ.
It is blasphemy to preach that Peter or anyone else besides Jesus Christ is the
head of the church.
Mat 16:19 - And I will
give unto thee the keys of the kingdom
of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven:
and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
The
above verse, brethren, is taken out of context, misinterpreted by some and preached
falsely by others to mean that Lord Jesus made Peter head of the church in His
stead as though He gave Peter exclusively the keys of the kingdom-the power of
binding and loosing on earth and upheld in heaven by God.
The
truth the Bible makes clear is that Peter was not made the head of the church.
Peter the apostle never made such false claims and preached Jesus Christ as
Lord and head of the church forever.
The
purpose of the keys of the kingdom to
bind and loose was never given by Lord Jesus exclusively to Peter at all, but
to the church as a whole; to uphold, spread the eternal truth of His gospel, to
defend His message, to love, care for, guide, teach, discipline His church, to
expel the unrepentant from His body, to forgive those whose repentance is shown in word and deed.
Mat 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall
trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if
he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. 16 But if he will not hear thee,
then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three
witnesses every word may be established. 17 And if he shall neglect to hear
them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let
him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
Mat 18:18 Verily I say unto you,
Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye
shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
There
are many more biblical examples of the church in using this God given power
than I can post here, feel free to study further on your own.

JOURNEY
IN HEBREWS
Heb
7: 11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it
the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest
should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order
of Aaron?
The Bible answers the questions it
poses:
The
Bible keeps hammering away with the fact that there is something radically
wrong with the impotent works ministry of the carnal Levitical Law and its
whole priesthood here and throughout scripture- its weak, cannot save despite
offering a severely limited temporary forgiveness, purposed to bring death,
curse, and punishment for all who failed to obey it which prove God’s intention
for it-proof positive that all men are sinners totally incapable of any
righteousness and totally with no ability to save themselves and are
desperately in need of a Saviour. Suicide and depression rates run high in
works ministries. Tit 3:5:
“not by works of righteousness”. God’s purpose for the Law:
This
is why, brothers and sisters, that God in His mercy brought forth a new and
better order to ordain a new and eternally effectual high priest-Jesus Christ the
Son of the Living God. Jesus changes everything, the priesthood, the law, and
tithes too. Dearly beloveds, I know some among us stiffen when we hear the word
“tithes”, which has been badly abused by some and weaponized to bring people
into the bondage of guilt and to some hostility towards supporting the church
at all.
Holy
people we cannot fail to note that it is evident that the qualifications for
high priest God absolutely mandates under the order of Melchisedec mentioned
here and more later on are so stringent that it is impossible for a mortal
human being to ever attain to it. This absolutely puts to death the lie that
Jesus made Peter and later his so called successors the head of the church in His stead. It also puts
to death for all time the lie that Mary is the mother of God the Son, and
reigns as “queen of heaven” and co- redemptrix with Him, seeing that Jesus
never had a biological mother or father on earth. Jesus Christ was conceived
through the Holy Spirit to Mary who was a virgin. After the birth of Jesus, Mary
and her husband Joseph went on to have biological sons and daughters.

JOURNEY IN HEBREWS
Heb 7: 4Now consider how great this man was,
unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. 5And
verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the
priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the
law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham: 6But
he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and
blessed him that had the promises. 7And without all
contradiction the less is blessed of the better. 8And here men
that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is
witnessed that he liveth. 9And as I may so say,
Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. 10For he was yet in the
loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.
BEFORE
MOSES, THE LAW AND AARON, MELCHISEDEC
IS
Brothers
and sisters, Melchisedec is the first priest ever mentioned in scripture which
is no accident. God’s intent from the very beginning was to establish a spiritual
high priest under a new superior and entirely different new covenant. We noted
earlier God’s absolute qualifications or standards for one to be the high
priest after the order of Melchisedec would absolutely be a virgin male, not
born of woman, no offspring, eternal life. We can add he had to be called by God,
and to be a king, have bread and wine, not as a token or symbol, but as the
spiritual food of this eternal ministry, must be commanded by God to take and
receive tithes.
No
one has the authority, dearly beloveds, to take or receive tithes independently
of God’s express command. Here in chapter 7 of Hebrews Abraham’s payment of
tithes to Melchisedec is to show that God has forever raised and made the
priesthood of Jesus Christ eternally greater and above the weak Aaronic or
Levitical priesthood. It is still true that specific men- only those of the Levitical
priesthood who die are allowed by God to receive material tithes that spoil and
rot on earth. However, only the true eternal tithes that are weighed by their
spiritual intrinsic value from the heart of the giver can be received by the
eternal high priest Jesus Christ in the true tabernacle in heaven. More on the
superior high priest, new law and new tithes.

JOURNEY
IN HEBREWS
Melchizedek and Abraham
(Genesis 14:17-24)
1For this Melchisedec,
king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the
slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; 2To whom also
Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of
righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; 3Without
father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor
end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
Brothers
and sisters there are endless speculations as to who Melchisedec is. Some look to extra biblical sources
in attempts to answer this question, however the Bible itself tells us who Melchisedec
is. God tells us plainly that Melchisedec had no mother or father, meaning he is
not born of a union between a man and a woman at all and has always existed just
like God. God has ordained the order of Melchisedec and the absolute standard
to be ordained into it. So, we have to
look at who possesses these qualities that would allow them to belong to the
order of Melchisedec and we see there is only ONE who does.
Melchisedec
is the preexistent Christ who appears not only here but in many other places as
well in scripture: (John 1:1-5)
1In the beginning God created the
heaven and the earth. 2And the earth was
without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And
the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Jesus
is the Rock in the wilderness: Exo 17:6 - Behold, I will stand
before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so
in the sight of the elders of Israel.
1Co 10:4 - And did all drink the
same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. Jesus
is the voice of God walking in the garden of Eden calling out the first Adam: Gen 3:8 - And they heard the voice
of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his
wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the
garden. Gen 3:9 - And the LORD God called
unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? Jesus Christ is God’s eternal voice of the good news: Heb 1:2 - Hath in these
last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he
made the worlds; Jesus is the Rock in the wilderness: Exo 17:6
- Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt
smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may
drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. 1Co 10:4
- And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual
Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. Jesus is the angel of God, Gen 21:17
- And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out
of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath
heard the voice of the lad where he is. Jesus is the angel of the Lord that
spoke to Moses out of the burning bush, Exo 3:2-5
- And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the
midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the
bush was not consumed. Jesus is the captain of the army of
the Lord, Jos 5:14
- And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now
come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto
him, What saith my lord unto his servant? Jos 5:15
- And the captain of the LORD'S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off
thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did
so. Jesus
Christ is with the three hebrew boys in
the midst of the burning fiery furnace: Dan 3: 23And these three men, Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery
furnace. 24Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was
astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his
counsellers, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They
answered and said unto the king, True, O king. 25He answered
and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the
midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like
the Son of God. 26Then Nebuchadnezzar
came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and
said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come
forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth
of the midst of the fire. Jesus is the Rock of Sion, Rom 9:33
- As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence:
and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Jesus is the captain of our salvation, Heb 2:10
- For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all
things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their
salvation perfect through sufferings. 1Ti 6:16
- Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach
unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power
everlasting. Amen. Heb 7:16
- Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power
of an endless life. 1Jo 5:20
- And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding,
that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even
in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. The Bible connects us from the Old
Testament to the New Testament that Jesus Christ the Son of God meets
absolutely God’s standard to be ordained eternal High Priest. There is
more we must look at holy people Love serola
