IF YOU ARE NOT WITH ME YOU ARE AGAINST ME
SPIRITUAL WARFARE We are
commanded by God, saints (G40 hagios) to fully understand the Mosaic Law also
known as the Old Covenant of the Law and
to wholly grasp its true meaning, lest we vainly attempt to mix it or see it as
the same thing as the Law of Grace or the New Covenant. God’s core purpose and function of the Mosaic
Law under the high priest was for it to obtain forgiveness for the people
individually each day and as a whole yearly to escape the penalty of the Law. Num 8:19 | And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary. |
Again it is
absolutely vital to fully understand and conclude that between confession of
sin to God and forgiveness by God for the people daily or as a whole there
always has to be a high priest who acts as a mediator between man and God;
ordained and appointed by God. This high
priest/mediator alone is commanded and ordained by God, to offer the perfect
unblemished blood sacrifice for himself and the people individually each day
and yearly as a whole, to gain forgiveness and make reconciliation between men
and God. Again, and
again, holy brethren, it is vital to
understand that while God demanded the confession of penitent sinners their confession
of itself or alone absolutely could not gain any forgiveness from God. This then is the non- negotiable pattern
that God commanded, ordained and established Under the Law regarding daily
individual sacrifice for sin. It goes like this: 1.The person confesses to the
high priest his sin known or unknown. 2. God allows the
person to take an animal without blemish to die in his place so that he does not
have to die for his own sins. Sometimes something other than an animal could be
taken for sacrifice, if the man was too poor and did not own an animal. However
the yearly sacrifice to gain forgiveness for the people as a whole GOD DEMANDED
that certain perfect unblemished animals had to be sacrificed-no exceptions. 3. The
animal is slain in place of the man and the high priest takes it blood to offer
to God to make atonement and gain God’s forgiveness for the person. 4. The
person escapes death and is forgiven only until he commits the next sin. This cycle
must be repeated for each sin, even the same sin if repeated. Keep in mind that for some sins death was automatic and for which no sacrifice could be made. NOTE: When you find this pattern brought into modern day so called the "confessing churches" proudly boasting of keeping "short accounts" and busy confessing all their sins around the clock this is the Law falsely labeled as grace. Ain't no grace in the Law. Furthermore every thing in their physical building is "holy" except the people for whom Christ died. It is no wonder that depression and suicide is likely to be found here. SPIRITUAL WARFARE It is vital that we understand the Mosaic Law from within the absolute truth
of the Bible. God forbids the mixing of the Law with Grace. In spiritual
warfare one of the devils tricks is to try to lure God’s people away from Grace
and back to the Law of condemnation. Our thorough correct understanding of the Law, protects us from
turning away from Grace to go back to the Law that Christ has delivered us from. God demanded the whole Old Covenant of the Law to be obeyed without
exception. He did not give anyone the option or authority to pick out and obey
only the laws that they liked. The
people certainly loved God, but also obeyed because the penalty for sin under
the Law is the curse and death. The Bible confirms from the Old Testament to the New Testament that
the whole law must be obeyed. Deu. 27:26: Cursed [be] he that confirmeth not [all] the
words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen. Jam. 2:10: For whosoever shall
keep the whole law, and yet offend in one [point], he is guilty of all. Throughout the year when the penitent sinners confessed their sins to God,
they well understood that forgiveness could only be obtained if it were also
accompanied by the priests offering of a sacrifice to make atonement. No sin
was too small or could be overlooked. Even if the people sinned ignorantly they
were still considered guilty. The people were guilty even if they committed sins
of omission, as well as overt or covert sins. The people were also considered
guilty if they knew of someone else’s sin and kept it hidden. The people could
along with their own sins, confess those of their fathers and their nation. Although there was a yearly sacrifice of atonement for the people as a
whole, God still required that each of the people confess their sins knowingly
or otherwise throughout the year and offer the appropriate atonement through
the priests to gain God’s forgiveness. Let us keep in mind as mentioned earlier that the people were highly
motivated to confess sin out of love for God as well as to avoid the penalty of
the Law. For this cause we can well understand the necessity of their keeping
short accounts as unconfessed sin could bring severe punishment, including
death. The whole order of priests also had to confess and make atonement for
their own individual sins throughout the year as well, or suffer the same
consequences under the law: Lev. 4:3 If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of
the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young
bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering. love (agape) serola

SPIRITUAL WARFARE We see here, brethren, from looking at the Law, that God absolutely dissuaded
anyone from ever seeing or understanding Him portrayed as some wimp wringing
His Holy hands, weeping in helpless sadness over bad sinners not doing right. For under the Law the fear, wrath, and terror
of the dread sovereign Lord God, reigned with fierce zeal. The smell of the numerous
priestly sacrifices, and its ashes being made some around the clock, in hopes of evading death, and gain forgiveness, must have
stung the peoples’ nostrils and made their hearts quake with fear. Men were
taught full well that God had no deal with mankind to let it run wild and
unchecked. God checked the father of lies the devil in the garden, and mankind as
well. He checked mankind in the flood. He checked mankind at Sodom and Gomorrah.
He checked kings, peoples and nations. And now He checked mankind body, mind
and soul in THE THRESHING FLOOR OF THE LAW. Lev. 16: 2 And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother,
that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the
mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the
cloud upon the mercy seat. God makes it clear that the most Holy Place within the vail is not the
high priests play pen or hang out, and attempts to do so would result in the
high priests death. In the Law the times the high priest could enter within the vail was meticulously given in minute detail. God, not man makes the rules, no one is exempt, obey God or die-NO EXCEPTIONS. GOT DELINQUENCY? The Law of God had the cure: Deu. 21: 18 If a man have a
stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or
the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken
unto them 19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring
him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place; 20 And
they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and
rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard. 21 And
all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou
put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear. God rules with an iron hand in every aspect of life in the Law.
Obedience is rewarded, and punishment for disobedience is swift and at times lethal. Every blow
that God strikes at mankind, nevertheless, is tempered, every one of them, by His mercy and
love, otherwise no flesh could live. Next time, dear children of God, let us look
into specific aspects of the duties of the high priest, and the purpose they served under the law. love (agape) serola

SPIRITUAL WARFARE In the mist of the glory and the splendor of the Law-sin reigned unto
death, condemnation and the curse. The high priests served with reverence and
fear for good reason. The Lord God who designed all the Levitical priesthood’s
clothing and the accompanying articles for service had a death sentence
attached to them as well. As we examine the Levitical high priest, every one of
them were just sinful men, none of whom could appear before God or do service
without wearing the complete garments and instruments for service designed by
God which gave these sinful men only AN OUTER RIGHTEOUSNESS. Further we note
that before they could offer sacrifice for the sins of the people, they FIRST
had to offer a sacrifice for themselves and the priests under them along with
all of their households. Absolutely no
one including the high priests and its prophets were exempt from the Law. If the
high priest sinned without repentance not even his garb for religious service
could protect him from death, this was true for the prophet as well. There were
certain sins for which no sacrifice could be made, which could result
automatically in death, for any individual or even the whole nation.
COVER YOUR BUTT AND YOUR PRIVATES
Exo. 28:42And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their
nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach: 43And they
shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in unto the tabernacle
of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the
holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute for
ever unto him and his seed after him.
Holy brothers and sisters the point here is the great abhorrence of
God regarding mere sinful human flesh. God’s abhorrence is so great that the sentence
was death for any of the priests even appearing before God with their private
parts uncovered. The point here is that this is God's lethal reminder to the understanding and conscience of all mankind - GOD HATES SIN! THE SOUL THAT SINNETH, IT SHALL DIE. Eze
18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of
the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
Let us stop here for now, saints (G40 hagios),
with the understanding that God is in charge and in control of everything, and
everyone is absolutely accountable to God. God holds mankind in check according to His
sovereign will. Regardless of bumbling, stumbling, arrogant, greedy, sinful men
we see that the INEXORABLE UNSTOPPABLE WILL OF GOD is nonetheless forever triumphant. love serola
