I have heard some people boast that they knew from the time they were a little girl or boy that they were saved. Some even brag that they aways felt that God "had their back"; or even felt God's presence from time to time. This is said without any mention of Jesus Christ or ever hearing the gospel message of salvation. These personal experiences absolutely does not mean such persons are saved. All such claims are false and invalid, I suspect mostly out of ignorance. Personal experience cannot save anyone. This is why God gave us the Bible, His word inerrant and the sole standard for His truth, correctly interpreted. God's plan of salvation as the FINAL ANSWER. Acts 17: 29-30; II Pe. 3:9 It is true that God is calling all men to repentance. God has set the stadard for all time His Son Jesus Christ. No man can come to Jesus Christ the Saviour, except God draws him. This is the mercy of God that sometimes gets over- looked in salvation. Conversely no man (means women too) can come to God except through Jesus Christ. This entirely debunks anyone's personal experience of being saved other than through the eternal plan of salvation established by God and manifested through our Saviour Jesus Christ. The message of salvation is clear:
Ro. 10:10 The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in
thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt
confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that
God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart
man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be
ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the
same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall
call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
love, serola
