WHO SHALL BE GOD? study [part two] Holy Bretheren (includes sisters too), made clean by the washing in the blood of our Saviour Jesus, if you have not done so, please feel free to read the previous part of this study. Where we desire to go in this study is very practical, for joyous every day living, in Jesus, and understanding how to break any stronghold in our lives. For one part will build from another and to the conclusion. I want to say that I so appreciate this site where Christians all over the world, can teach, learn and grow through fellowship with one another, as family, and grow together unto the Lord who is our Perfection. Let us bless our Lord, who has stirred up the dear saints to put this site in place, and let us bless them, for their work in the Lord is not in vain. Now in proposing the question, who shall be God?, we do not at all infer in any wise that God needs anybody's permission to be the God who He alone is Isa 42:9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. . Now, my beloveds He is fully capable of speaking for Himself in this very matter. Scriptures will be given, and I urge you to take time to meditate and reflect on who God is, that we may be deepened together in love for our Creator. God and God alone shall be God, over and above anyone's mere opinion in the matter. He says of Himself my beloveds: I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. (To be continued part 3.) love serola

WHO SHALL BE GOD?
WHO SHALL BE GOD? To those who love the Lord the answer is simple. The God of the scriptures: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy spirit, three separate persons in one God, eterally existent and eternally inseparable in love as One. Sometimes dear saints, this means you holy ones, we can allow our circumstances, conditions, situations, feelings or emotions, or even some sin or person (includes ourselves), to reign over us in ignorance. In the midst of whatever is going on in our lives we must ask: Who shall be God? We have answered this question at the beginning , and now we pose the second question we must also ask, how shall we know Him? This too, is simple to answer: John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God and God in him. That's right saints, Love is not a thing, force, or feeling, God Himself is love. The nature and scope of His love is to be found in 1Co. 12:31 and 1co. 13:1-13. This study will continue. I exhort you lively stones to read these chapters, and may the God of glory work with your faith to bring refreshing, and good understanding, as this study will be continued. It will not be a fast study, for I am praying that our Lord will through His word unlock, the very nature of His love and power in His children both to will and to do, that is to carry out His words in our every day lives. Now to God alone be the glory, honor and praise, who has made us kings priests and lively stones to offer up sweet sacrifices of love to Him, who first loved us, keep you confident and full of hope, for love never fails. love serola

Col 2:11 Col 2:12 Col 2:13 Col 2:14 Col 2:15 Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Col 2:-23 (NLT) 23 One Sabbath day as Jesus was walking through some grainfields, his disciples began breaking off heads of grain to eat.24 But the Pharisees said to Jesus, “Look, why are they breaking the law by harvesting grain on the Sabbath?”25 Jesus said to them, “Haven’t you ever read in the Scriptures what David did when he and his companions were hungry?26 He went into the house of God (during the days when Abiathar was high priest) and broke the law by eating the sacred loaves of bread that only the priests are allowed to eat. He also gave some to his companions.”27 Then Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made to meet the needs of people, and not people to meet the requirements of the Sabbath.28 So the Son of Man is Lord, even over the Sabbath!” Mark 2:23-28 (NLT) Dear brothers and sisters, we have freedom in Christ. We know that unlike in the old testament priesthood, under the law days were holy, ground was holy the temple was holy, and various other things. But in these last days it is His people who are made holy, and His temple is in them. Our Holiness is complete in Jesus and does not come from anything outside of what He has done through His blood. The problem comes from when some one tries to make a rule that a certain day or rite makes us holy, and then tries to make us serve the day rather than Christ. Jesus has given us the privilege to enjoy Him as we assemble together in worship, because He has made us holy. He is Lord over any day, and is filled with compassion for the needs of His people everyday, and is ready to meet our every need. Therefore, I pray that we shall value the saints above any day, and glorify our Lord above the day. Most importantly He is not saying that we shouldn't observe a day of worship, what our Lord is saying is do not worship the day itself, but worship Him, with the understanding that it is He Jesus who has made us holy, and not the day itself. Lord, help us to keep our eyes upon you, that whatever the day or hour, that we may fully worship you with hearts filled with love for you and one another. love serola

For He whom Christ sets free is free indeed. This freedom, is not about license to sin, as we very well know, but freedom to serve, in what ever capacity, that Jesus enables us, for His glory, and our good, as well as the good of others, even our enemies. We have the freedom to pour out libations of intense love and worship to the only true God. We have the freedom, to relax in the presence of other people without feelings of inferiority, or superiority, but rooted in the love of Jesus for all men, especially the household of faith. We have the freedom that whatever we do, it is for the glory of God. We have the freedom, to glory in the Lord, who has placed us into the universal church, which consists of all the saints in heaven and earth of all the ages. May the reality of our freedom in Jesus, continually stir up our hearts to love Him and one another. love serola Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. HAVE YOU RESTED YET?
Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. Heb 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Heb 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. 1Pe 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 1Pe 4:2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. Gal 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, Jude 1:25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Beloveds in Christ, in the past, I fretted so over any sin, that I scarce could look up at the sky, so convinced that I was not even worthy to lift my head up to look up to heaven. I was so focused on the sin, that I lived daily in terror, watching and looking out lest I should dare to commit any sin against God. Yes, I learned later that His perfect love casts out fear, and indeed He has. Now, precious children of light please note the above scripture:Gal. 5:13, as Jesus helps us to understand that just because our sins are forgiven, does not give us the license to sin. Most importantly it is fundamental to our understanding that the roots of our ability to not live in sin, comes from the love of God. God Himself is love, that is, God is love. Love, Love, Love, can stand alone in God's economy of what is perfect and good in His sight. Love, God's love is the tool, and the fuel which allows us to overcome any sin. If a person wants to dig something in the ground, he or she uses a shovel, a writer uses a pen, and so on. Now our Lord has given us the ultimate and unfailing, tool, Himself, who is love (agape), so that we can know His will, and receive understanding and guidance of how we can partake of His love to accomplish His desires and not our own. If someone focuses only on sin, they become out of balance , and soon fall into self condemnation, feelings of unworthiness, and they may also develop a condemning attitude towards others. It is not about us, our feelings or opinions, it is all about Jesus, or it is about nothing at all. Even in the midst of sin, we must focus on Jesus that is say Lord I know, I accept and fully acknowledge that I now have the privilege, the honor of showing how much I love you, by the power of the love you have given me to do your will and not my own. Lord I know you can and will give me the power to overcome any unrighteousness in my life, your love is patient, I will wage this war by your power until I kill any evil deed prompted by the flesh. It is by understanding the power of God, and His might which under girds every saint, that our King Jesus proves to us again and again, that greater is He within us than He that is in the world. Dear saint, have you rested yet in the finished work of Christ? love serola Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

JESUS KNOWS WHO YOU ARE, BELIEVE HIM.
Ro 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: Ro 1:6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ: 2Co 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 1Pe 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Dear saints, it is amazing what our Lord Jesus says about us. Jesus is our High Priest, and He has made us an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. This is who Jesus says we are under the New Covenant, written in His blood. Under the old testament covenant, only those belonging to the levitical priesthood could minister in the temple, the rest of the people, including strangers would be put to death, if they tried to minister in the temple. God did away with this old system as it was ineffective, and brought you and me under a better covenant, where we too can freely offer up sacrifices to our Lord, without fear of being put to death. He did not do this because we were better than them, no, it was because He is love, and He is merciful. He loved us and washed us from our sins, and made us His saints, kings and priests, under His eternal priesthood. I heard an interesting sermon once, and it frankly surprised me, it was on the subject of false humility. Someone refuses to accept what God says about us because he or she feels unworthy. This is false humility, and kind of a perverse, inverted pride. True humility humbles itself under God's mighty hand, and trusts in His word to obey Him out of love for Him. God expects us to honor His son, by boldly accepting our identity under the New Covenant, because we love Him enough to trust His word, rather than humanistic or worldly reasonings. Lord, help us your saints to continually accept the fullness of the love of the Only True God, and to love one another, and thereby fulfill the totality of the law, that could never be fulfilled under the old covenant. love serola

Dear saints I want to just share with you some of my favorite love verses. Love or charity is the gift and fruit that validates all others. No work or gift is acceptable to God without love (agape) or charity. 1Jn 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Mt 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Mt 22:38 This is the first and great commandment. Mt 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Mt 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Ro 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. . Gal 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. Gal 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. Gal 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Eph 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, Eph 3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; Eph 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. 2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 1Jn 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 1Jn 4:19 1Jn 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 1Co 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet show I unto you a more excellent way. 1Co 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 1Co 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. 1Co 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 1Co 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 1Co 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 1Co 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. love serola
