JOURNEY
IN HEBREWS
Brothers
and sisters, none of us have to envy or be jealous of the Nation of Israel
because they have the right and commandment from God to bring their tithes
directly to the temporary Levitical ministry on earth as commanded by the Law
of Moses.
None
of us should be tempted to imitate them in any manner: Heb 13:10 -
We have an altar, whereof they
have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
We
have the everlasting and superior ministry of Jesus Christ; no Levitical priest
has the right to even approach His altar.
Therefore,
holy people, let it suffice us that we have the right and the commandment from God
that through our giving we are able to support those who minister the word of God
and care for the flock of Jesus Christ on earth. We support them according to
our means, not out of bondage and fear of punishment as those do under the Law
of Moses, but out of the love and faith of the everlasting law of grace. We know there is a multitude of these faithful
overseers laboring faithfully in ministering the gospel and caring for the
flock of God. They may be unknown among men, but God knows them. He upholds them and will faithfully
reward them for their service out of love for Him.
1Co 9:13 - Do ye not know that
they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple?
and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? 14 - Even so hath the Lord
ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.
I
do not want to go into a study within a study, brethren, we know we must have
wisdom to understand that amongst the many faithful ministries, there are those
who are little more than meeting halls solely interested in the collection
plates and care nothing for its members for whom Christ died.
As
we get ready to go into chapter 11 of Hebrews, it is often characterized as the
roll call of faith, as though it pertains only to the faithful believers of the
past.
The
eternal truth is that all believers in Jesus
Christ past, present and future are
partakers in that roll call of faith, after
the example of faithful Abraham who: Rom 4:20 -
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong
in faith, giving glory to God;
Rom 4:21 and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able
also to perform.
Rom 4:22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
Rom 4:23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to
him;
Rom 4:24 but for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him
that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and
was raised again for our justification.
As
we head into the new year no brother or sister among us should mistakenly think
that because they are not Elijah the prophet that they cannot make it rain as
he did because God will not have the same regard to their prayers. What is meant here is
that they mistakenly believe that God will not have the same regard
in answering their prayers. God is no
respecters of persons for the Bible teaches:
Jas 5:16Confess your faults one to
another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent
prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Jas 5:17 - Elias was a man subject
to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth
by the space of three years and six months.18 And he prayed again, and the
heaven gave rain, and the earth
brought forth her fruit.
Dearly
beloveds, do not be discouraged but
instead come believing. Return back to your prayer closets with the rest of us
praying earnestly within the context and boundaries of the gospel-EXPECT RAIN!!!!

JOURNEY
IN HEBREWS
Brothers
and sisters before we continue to the next chapter of Hebrews, there are those
who want to understand more about how Jesus Christ changed the tithe. It is not
that these brothers and sisters do not want to give. It is that they want to
give in the right way that God commands to please Him out of love for Him, and
His people. The tithe is often abused,
excessive, burdensome and commanded of those too poor to meet even their own needs.
We
know, saints (G40 hagios), that those who claim the Christian must tithe on
earth to the earthly ministry and that it is not just about money are insincere
because they command money, ten percent or more above anything else.
Some
say tithing is still commanded by the Law for Christians too, and even before
the Law. Others say God never commanded any Christian to tithe ever. Which is
correct. The answer is neither one is correct. How so?
The
Bible declares that if our Lord Jesus Christ was on earth right now and we
tried to bring Him our “tithes” HE COULD NOT ACCEPT OUR TITHES. IN FACT, GOD THE
FATHER FORBIDS HIM TO ACCEPT THEM, BECAUSE HE IS NOT OF THE TRIBE OF LEVI.
What
this means is that no Christian on earth can command Christians to bring them a
tithe in any manner or amount whatsoever. The tithe is commanded by God exclusively,
explicitly for the Levitical priesthood of the nation of Israel alone:
Heb 8:4 For
if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: Num 18:21 - And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an
inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
This
does not mean that a Jewish convert to Christianity can command a tithe of Christians,
since they are no longer under the Law, but the new covenant of Jesus Christ who
forbids Christians on earth to command a tithe of Christians directly to themselves.
THE
NEW TESTAMENT TITHE UNDER OUR HIGH PRIEST JESUS Christ
Heb 7:8 - And here men that die
receive tithes; but there he receiveth them,
of whom it is witnessed that he
liveth.
Mat 6:20 - But lay up for yourselves
treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where
thieves do not break through nor steal:
Brothers
and sisters, how in the world are we going to get our tithes up to Jesus in
heaven to lay up treasures in heaven? Dearly beloveds, that is a very easy
question to answer.
Whatever
we do, or give of our time, talent and treasure on earth for Jesus He weighs
the purpose and intent of the heart to see if it is out of love for Him or not.
It is the intrinsic eternal spiritual value of All that we do out of love for Jesus
on earth that He receives it in heaven and lays it in store in our account from
which He will reward us in heaven and on earth as well. The new covenant commands that our tithe is absolutely exclusively, explicitly
between us and Jesus Christ alone.
The
new covenant system of giving on earth is between Jesus and the giver alone too:
God alone set the standards for the kind of giving acceptable to Him or not. 2Co 9:6 - But this I say,
He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth
bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
God leaves it up to the individual brothers and sisters to
determine what they can reasonably give generously, consistently to the
ministry and it’s work along with the attitude that should accompany our giving:
2Co 9:7 - Every
man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not
grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
OBEY
GOD-GIVE ON EARTH GOD’S WAY ONLY
2Co 8:12 - For if there be first a
willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and
not according to that he hath not.
Willing
mind: that mind not under compunction, but freely willing, cheerfully from the
heart.
God
set the absolute explicit standard for the wrong way of giving:
2Co 8:13 - For I mean not
that other men be eased, and ye burdened:
Don’t
deprive your dependent family of support in any manner whatsoever. Don’t sell
your house your family needs to help out someone else, or put yourself in debt.
Pay no attention to anybody asking you to give your car you need to get to
work, or your kid’s lunch money or anything else that will deprive them of the
care they need.
1Ti 5:8 - But if any provide not for his own, and specially for
those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
So, what now holy people? This means if we
have not done so we will look carefully at our finances and before we get to
church, set aside the amount we can generously, consistently give for the work
of the ministry out of love for our Lord and Savious Jesus Christ and the love
and support of those who minister faithfully in His name, understanding that
while this is giving on earth, the tithe is strictly to Jesus Christ alone who recognizes
all that we do and give in time, talent and treasure, cheerfully, wisely,
generously and willingly out of love for Him. Jesus weighs all of this on the
basis of its intrinsic spiritual value if any, then keeps it in store for us to
reward us on earth and later in heaven itself.
Most of us already know this. This is for
those who did not understand why they get so offended when anybody stands over
them and wrongfully pronouncing the lie that they are under a curse for not
giving the Levitical tithe that God set aside absolutely exclusively for the Levitical
priesthood of the nation of Israel ON EARTH

JOURNEY
IN HEBREWS
Heb 10:32But call to remembrance the former
days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of
afflictions; 33Partly,
whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and
partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used. 34For ye had
compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods,
knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring
substance. 35Cast not away
therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. 36For ye have
need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive
the promise.
Brothers
and sisters, Paul is not urging them to not throw away their salvation in any
manner whatsoever. These saints had been going through fiery trials at the
hands of wicked people. Therefore, Paul was urging them to not lose their
confidence that Jesus would one day bring an end to these terrible trials they
were under and that He had allowed for His purposes. Neither should we grow
weary in well doing because of our troubles, afflictions and the mockery of the
wicked. We all need to continue in faith and patience regardless of our situation, condition,
or circumstances- patiently-continuing doing good knowing Jesus will keep every
promise He has made to us His holy people. Patience is the prize to be sought
here because we understand the patience of God that it is serving His purpose
in our lives: Rom 5:3 - And not only so,
but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
Why
God is patient: Jas 5:7 - Be patient therefore,
brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the
precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
Nevertheless
in God’s timing He will come for nothing, absolutely nothing has the power to
nor can delay, deny, hinder, nor prevent Him from coming exactly at the
appointed time.
Heb 10:37For yet a little while, and he that
shall come will come, and will not tarry.38Now the just
shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no
pleasure in him.
There
is therefore, saints (G40 hagios) no need nor reason to focus on the timing of the return,
we must stay ready and be ready whenever He comes, this is what He commands. Those who draw back under
fire show they never belonged to Him and He has no pleasure in them.
Heb 10:39But we are not of them who draw back
unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
Dearly
beloveds, we end this chapter taking up the shield of faith and drawing out the
sword of the Spirit, remaining strong in our Lord Jesus Christ and the power of
His might. There is more that be with us than be with the wicked whose day will
end swiftly at the coming of our King of Kings and Lord of Lords Jesus Christ.

IN HEBREWS
Brothers
and sisters, the Bible in meticulous detail down to the minutiae repeatedly,
absolutely declares for all eternity the curse, death and wrath of God upon all
who impenitently reject His Son whom He has appointed the Saviour for all who
will believe in on and obey Him.
Praise
God for the multitude of overseers and the church as a whole who stands against
those false teachers who lie and say that God is too loving and kind to send
anyone to hell or there is no hell, or even if people go to hell it is only
temporary to help them repent and believe the gospel whereupon they will be
released into heaven.
Dear friends of Jesus, let us always tell the
truth to those in error so that even some might turn from their error and come confessing
their sins and believing Jesus Christ to receive the mercy of God and the
forgiveness of all their sins. Otherwise there is no more mercy from God for
those who impenitently reject the salvation
made available alone through Jesus Christ His Son, but certain vengeance
against the wicked who impenitently reject Him.
2Th 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall
be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them
that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9Who shall be punished with
everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of
his power;
Brothers
and sisters, even you who have been troubled by the wicked, run out of your
homes, and countries some of you with just the clothing on your backs, take
heart and know that none of our suffering is in vain. The day is coming that
our Lord and Saviour shall bring swift destruction and everlasting punishment
to the wicked, thoroughly purging them from amongst His people.
SURE
PAYDAY PROMISED FROM GOD FOR HIS ADVERSARIES
Heb 10:28He that despised Moses' law died
without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29Of how much
sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden
under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant,
wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the
Spirit of grace? 30For
we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will
recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 31It is a
fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Holy
people, God is not speaking of believers here but those who when shown the truth
of Jesus Christ, counted Him as nothing, the sacrifice of His blood as worthless
and counted the Holy Spirit as a liar. Those that despise the spirit of grace
and the Son should be very, very afraid for their day of recompense from God is
surely coming from which they shall not escape.

JOURNEY IN HEBREWS
It is common, saints (G40 hagios), for
some to be deceived by false teachers who teach the lie that it is acceptable
to understand the Bible as errant not absolute, and open to differing
interpretations, which are equally valid. Now we
certainly know that God does not condemn those who have been tricked by
deceivers. He will bring them to the truth and they shall escape: 2Pe 2:18
- For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure
through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were
clean escaped from them who live in error.
The eternal truth, holy people, is that
there is only one correct interpretation of the gospel message, that it is
absolute and God commands all of it to be believed and obeyed, there are
absolutely no options or plan B’s to it. God curses any and everyone who unrepentantly
adds to or takes away from it.
Say it with me brothers and sisters, where
the Bible is silent, we must be silent, where the Bible speaks, we must speak,
and we must with the gospel’s absolute authority speak the same things it
speaks.
Brethren, earlier we looked at those who
say after they have been saved that they still sin from two biblical standpoints.
The first that we have already examined is the true new Christian, and the true
Christian who is ignorant of scripture. These will repent and come believing
the truth when they are taught. Now it is necessary to look at the false
Christian, who remains unrepentant when taught the truth. God makes absolutely
no excuses for any impenitent person who rejects the truth.
God takes no pleasure in sending people
who reject the gospel to hell. However, He makes it clear that He absolutely
does not regard impenitent persons, whosoever they may be, as broken and hurting, harmless, benign,
confused, ignorant, innocent, backslidden, or unlearned of scripture. No, they are none of
these things, they know and fully understand the gospel message, but refuse to
believe it and will never change their minds of seeing it as anything other
than foolishness instead of what it eternally is the everlasting truth of Jesus
Christ.
Heb 10:26For if we sin wilfully
after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more
sacrifice for sins, 27But
a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall
devour the adversaries.
Those
who reject the eternal truth of Jesus Christ should be very afraid for they
will all pay for their own sins, face the wrath of God and everlasting death
and destruction.
Willfully:
voluntarily,
willingly, of one's own accord.
A. to
sin wilfully as opposed to sins committed inconsiderately, and from ignorance
or from weakness.
Since
they reject the sacrifice of Jesus Christ there is no other source of sacrifice
for the atonement of all their sins. Therefore, they have doomed themselves to
everlasting death, damnation and destruction. God does not refer to impenitent persons
who reject salvation alone through His Son Jesus Christ as His sheep. No God calls
them ADVERSARIES. Jesus tells us why such persons
are not His sheep: Jhn 10:26
- But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
The Bible never refers to them as children of God,
because they are not and never were or will ever be His children. The Bible declares
of them instead: 2Pe 2:21 -
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness,
than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered
unto them.
2Pe 2:22 - But it is happened unto them according
to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that
was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

JOURNEY IN HEBREWS
(Jude 1:17-23)
Heb 10:19Having therefore, brethren,
boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20By a new and living way,
which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21And having an high
priest over the house of God; 22Let
us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts
sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23Let us hold fast the
profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful
that promised;) 24And let
us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25Not forsaking the
assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but
exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day
approaching.
Brothers and sisters, the Bible interprets
itself, defends itself, and backs up itself. Through the Bible each believer is
taught to do the same. Thanks be to God, for His power through which His church
stands unmovable, unshakeable and steadfast in His name. Jesus comforts us,
teaches us and assures us that those who have faith in Him can freely and
boldly come in His presence, He is our Saviour and high priest who we are
commanded to approach without doubt, wavering, suspicion or fear of Him. Jesus is the only door to God’s throne room. To
believe otherwise is the mark of an evil conscience that doubts that God’s way
is the only right way and the only right way is God’s way-through faith alone,
by grace alone in His Son Jesus Christ. Children of light we must take note of the charged urgency, meticulous and repetitious nature of the gospel message to compel all to see the absolute truth and love of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

JOURNEY
IN HEBREW
Brethren,
as a great many of us know, after Jesus saves people, He fills them with the Holy
Spirit, His Spirit and God also indwells them. It is a lie that after people
are saved, they are expected to still live sinful lives. If the Bible did not
say it, it is absolutely not true it is a big fat lie.
1Jo 3:6 - Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth
hath not seen him, neither known
him.
1Jo 3:8
- He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the
beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might
destroy the works of the devil.
1Jo 3:10
- In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil:
whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his
brother.
1Jo 5:18 - We know that whosoever is born of
God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God
keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
The
body and blood of Jesus, dearly beloveds, is the only and final offering to gain forgiveness from
God. The saved person is left in his or her human body by God so that within
their allotted time they will live by faith. As the true Christian comes to
each point in time of the forgiven sin, they will turn away from it to God instead
of continuing in sin. God allows trials to purge, test, try and prove our faith
and to strengthen us along the way.
The
saved person will repent and turn to God from sin and progressively learn to
control his vessel along the way. The just shall walk by faith and not
according to their or someone else’s personal opinion. God’s people live lives
focused on pleasing Him above anyone else, for He is worthy. In this way our
whole lives become one of worship to and of God.
God
gives every one of His people a redeemed holy conscience so that we know the difference
between good and evil and have power to choose the good out of love and trust
in Him. This is not easy believe--ism because God instructs us that yes, most
certainly all of our sins are permanently cleansed away; however, on earth He
allows us to receive the consequences of them. He commands us to be
responsible/accountable to Him and one another in every aspect of our lives.
Every
Christian, saints (G40 hagios) is commanded by God to control His vessel. We learn this by experience
over time in applying God’s word to our everyday lives, through Bible study and
the help of the church as a whole. Every Christian is subject to discipline of
the church and self- discipline is commanded. We live lives no longer subject to
sin, because Jesus freed us from our old sin nature and gave us a new holy
nature and power over sin.
Because
of Jesus we fully meet God’s standard of being eternally righteous in His Son, Jesus
Christ.
Rom 6:6
- Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of
sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Rom 6:18
- Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
Rom 6:22
- But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your
fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Finally, all Christians, the new Christian
and the Christian who is unlearned must be taught: Eph 5:3 - But
fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among
you, as becometh saints;(See this whole chapter).
1Pe 4:15 - But
let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer,
or as a busybody in other men's matters.
1Jo 3:15 - Whosoever
hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal
life abiding in him.
True Christians will come believing and
obeying the truth when they are taught it. love serola

JOURNEY
IN HEBREWS
Brothers
and sisters, where we left off was, what about those who say we still sin! We can
with all boldness address those who say this from two biblical standpoints. The first are those who are true new Christians
and/or those true Christians who are ignorant of scripture, but when they hear
the truth will come believing the truth and walking in it. the second are those
false Christians who do know the eternal truth of scripture and who
impenitently reject and oppose it.
Let
us speak, saints (G40 hagios)m regarding the true Christian who is new to faith
and/or the Christian who is just ignorant of scripture. Holy people, it is not uncommon for the new Christian
or the Christian who has not been taught the full gospel message to say we
still sin, although they say it in a great deal of pain and dismay. They love
the Lord, want to please God, and are greatly disturbed with feelings of guilt,
failure, dread and fear when their conscience is made aware of some sin in
their lives that displeases God (all sin displeases God). They may have a wishy
washy, touchy feely, warm and fuzzy personal concept of understanding
God, but quite frankly do not know God’s eternal biblical absolute standard for
sin nor how God enables and commands His people to deal with sin under the new
covenant.
We
should not be surprised that they believe in error when they sin, that they
have lost fellowship with God, and/or that God will not hear their prayers unless
they perform some work or ritual to get back in His favor-such as begging for
forgiveness, incessant confessions, keeping short accounts etc. Because of
their ignorance of scripture many are anxiety ridden, filled with shame, guilt,
fear ruled, in constant dread of in error thinking they will lose their
salvation and wind up in hell. Again, they do not know how in the world that Jesus
forgave them of all their sin and at times they still sin. Therefore, they see
this as easy believe-ism, knowing not the scriptures nor the power of God, in their
ignorance.
What
is being said here, dearly beloveds, is that the underlying problem is not a
lack of faith on the part of such Christians, but ignorance of the final finished
exhaustive, explicit absolute inerrant and complete new covenant of the gospel
of Jesus Christ. The whole of scripture is eternally valid, but the absolute
finality of righteousness rests only in Jesus Christ, appointed by God as the
Saviour for all who believe in and on Him far and near.
Most
of us are ignorant to some degree when we come to Christ, mostly knowing only
that He saved us, and little else.
But
thanks be to God we do not have to and are commanded not to stay ignorant. God does
not condemn any of His people who are ignorant of scripture and do err because
of it and neither must we. Instead we
should aid everyone’s faith even as ours is through godly overseers, teachers
and the church as a whole continuously.
The
Bible is easy to understand. God’s standard for a person being a sinner is
having an inherent sin nature. When Adam sinned in disobeying God, all born of
Adam are born physically alive and spiritually dead with the inherited Adamic sin
nature, which is why all people sin and love to sin. God placed all sinners
under the Law to show no one can be saved by their own power and live a sinless
life, so at the coming of the gospel of Jesus Christ all who confess they are
sinners (1Jo 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and
just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness.) Confess
here means to absolutely covenant with Lord Jesus in His eternal new covenant. (Rom 10:9-13);
And believe that Jesus died on the cross for
our sins and rose again to eternal life are permanently forgiven of all their sins: permanently washed in His blood, Heb 9:12; Rev 1:5 ; permanently filled/sealed with the holy spirit Eph 1:13; Eph 4:30; 1Co 6:19
permanently made an entirely new born again creation in Jesus Christ,
after His nature: Eph 2:15 ; 2Co 5:17; and are permanently kept
by the power of God from falling away into apostasy: Jde 1:24.
God
alone has set the eternal absolute standard for who is a sinner and who is not,
who belongs to Him who does not. There are no alternatives, plan B’s to the
eternal standards that God has set. God grants no one authority to add or take
away from His eternal, inerrant truth. love serola

THE
NEW COVENANT OF JESUS CHRIST
Heb 10:15Whereof
the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,16This is
the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I
will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; Before meaning: (Jer 31:31-36); Isa 1:18.
Brethren,
we arrive near the end of this chapter ten of Hebrews we understand that it is
not a cliff hanger. The Bible has left no loose ends, absolutely nothing is
left dangling or hanging salvation through the new covenant of Jesus Christ alone
and no other is absolutely established eternally for all who believe far and near.
God
through His Son Jesus Christ sent the gospel down with the Holy Spirit, the
Spirit of everlasting truth and the guarantor of infallible truth to witness
that the new covenant and nothing else is acceptable to God. In the past the
Law was written with the finger of God upon tablets of stone.
But
now through faith in Jesus Christ, God writes His new covenant Law of eternal
love, truth and grace in the hearts, and minds of all who believe and obey Him.
Surely
as the eagles of our Lord, we are left breathless, awestruck, thankful in the
everlasting truth that when our Lord and Saviour said: “IT IS FINISHED”, He
really meant it and did it for all eternity.
Heb 10:17And their sins and iniquities will I
remember no more.
18Now where remission of these is,
there is no more offering for sin.
Here
in the above passages, saints (G40 hagios) we find rest in the atoning blood of
Jesus Christ. confident and fully assured that He has absolutely finished our
works and made us eternally fully forgiven/righteous and acceptable to God for
all eternity. Therefore, holy people, we find peace and reconciliation with God
the Father to serve Him out of His power in love and never fear of rejection
and punishment.
Some
might say wait a minute-WHAT ABOUT THOSE WHO STILL SAY, BUT WE STILL SIN!

the right hand of God; 13From henceforth expecting till his
enemies be made his footstool. 14For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that
are sanctified.
Brothers
and sisters, the Bible continues on with great care, labor intensive in great meticulousness
in diligently showing the eternal truth that Jesus Christ alone meets all of God’s
qualifications to be the sole Sinless Saviour who alone by the mercy of God grants
unmerited, unearned, unbuyable and unrepayable permanent salvation to all who
will believe in Him.
The
Levitical priesthood still practices today its many sacrifices which have no
ability to cleanse away sin permanently or save anyone, just as it did not save
anyone before and never will now. Sadly,
the Levitical priesthood has its imitators today among those falsely claiming
to be Christian. Such make lying promises that they can forgive people of their
sins. These liars love their spectacular ecclesiastical clothing, ornate curious
signet rings, even the water filled golden censer to sprinkle their deceived
flock.
Now
it seems as it were a change in tone the air crackling electric dangerous as Jesus
Christ addresses His enemies-all who reject Him as the Lamb of God will be
destroyed. Psa 21:8; Psa 37:20; Psa 97:3; Nah 1:2; Mar 12:36; Mat 13:39; Rom 1:20 2Th 1:8. Saints (G40 hagios) we see from scripture that
God is neither tolerant nor silent regarding those who unrepentantly dispute
the everlasting truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ under His finished, final
and complete, new covenant.

Heb 10:1For the law having a shadow of good
things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with
those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers
thereunto perfect. 2For
then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers
once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. 3But in those sacrifices
there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. 4For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of
goats should take away sins.

Brothers
and sisters, God is continually absolutely declaring that the Levitical Law was
just a poor shadow of the glorious salvation that He would later unleash upon
the world at the coming of Jesus Christ, His appointed sinless Messiah,
Saviour, and Mediator of the eternal superior new covenant.
Here,
God reasons with us in the sense of hey, look, I made the numerous sacrifices
of the Law to be totally ineffectual in ever cleansing anyone from sins. If these
sacrifices really had any power to cleanse sinners from their sins I would have been done it with the first animal
sacrifice under the Law. The continual offering of them therefore, is proof
positive of their ineffectiveness.
Heb 10:5Wherefore when he cometh into the
world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou
prepared me:
6In burnt offerings and sacrifices
for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7Then said I, Lo, I come (in the
volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
Holy
people, God knows the thick headedness of His creations making it a necessity
to speak with swift, final and concise explicitness: GOD ABSOLUTELY DECLARES
THAT HE NEVER HAD ANY PLEASURE IN ANY OF THE SACRIFICES UNDER THE LAW.
FUTHERMORE HE ABSOLUTELY DECLARES THAT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ANYONE TO EVER
PLEASE HIM BY OR THROUGH THE LAW.
It
is the will of God that His Son Jesus Christ made the one time only acceptable
sacrifice that has fully pleased Him, and turned away His wrath forever from those
who repent and believe on His Son.
Heb
10: 8Above when he said, Sacrifice and
offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not,
neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; 9Then said he,
Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may
establish the second. 10By
the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus
Christ ONCE FOR ALL.
Sanctified:
to render or acknowledge, or to be venerable or hallow; to separate from profane things and
dedicate to God; dedicate and consecrate people to God; to cleanse, to purify by expiation: free from
the guilt of sin; to purify internally by renewing of the soul.
God
receives only those who believe and receive His Son Jesus Christ wholly and
alone for salvation. God declares absolutely that anyone in vain coming to Him
some other way is DEAD STILL! DEAD STILL! STILL DEAD!

IN HEBREWS
Heb 9:23It was therefore necessary that the
patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the
heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24For Christ is
not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures
of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for
us: 25Nor yet that
he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place
every year with blood of others; 26For then must
he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the
end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27And as it is
appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28So
Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for
him shall he appear the second time WITHOUT SIN UNTO SALVATION.
The
scriptures make it absolutely clear over and over and over that God has
appointed Jesus Christ alone who through the one- time sacrifice of His sinless
body and blood to be the sole Saviour to grant the free gift of forgiveness of
all sins permanently to the repentant believer. God’s standard for offering
permanent forgiveness is the sinless blood of Christ to all who believe. We see the scriptures keeps on comparing and
contrasting the Levitical Law and its high priesthood/sacrifices with the new
covenant of grace and its eternal high priesthood/sacrifices to declare that
the new covenant is superior in every way to the Law, and the high priest,
Saviour, Mediator Jesus Christ is superior with the power to take away all sins
for ever.
Holy
people, Jesus has not made our relationship to Him one of a casual shallow
nature. He has made us one in Him together with an unbreakable eternal
bond: Eph 2:15;
Eph 5:30.
Jesus,
the author of our salvation and the Head of the church, has fully ordered His
ministry. He has ordained His body, the people of God upon the earth as kings
and priests under His high priesthood. He has appointed us to carry out the order of
service to God on earth, while He himself is continually ministering before
God, in the true tabernacle which is in heaven itself. In His omnipresence He
indwells His people with the spirit of God and the Holy Spirit. We are no
longer our own we have been bought with a price: 1Co 6:20;
1Co 7:23.
In His omnipotence His wings of protection are ever spread over His church to
protect, nourish and care for it as a whole and each believer individually. His
church is not weak, but fully weaponized with the power of His love and truth,
and there is not a foe that has the power to conquer it neither in whole nor in
part: 1Jo 5:4 For
whatsoever is born of God overcometh
the world: and this is the victory that overcometh
the world, even our faith. 1Jo 5:5Who
is he that overcometh the world,
but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? Rev 12:11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the
word of their testimony; and
they loved not their lives unto the
death.

Heb
9; 15And for this cause he is the mediator
of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the
transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called
might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. 16For where a
testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17For a testament is
of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the
testator liveth. 18Whereupon neither the
first testament was dedicated without blood. 19For when
Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took
the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and
sprinkled both the book, and all the people, 20Saying, This
is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. 21Moreover he sprinkled
with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. 22And almost all things
are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no
remission.
Act 10:43To him give all the prophets witness,
that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
I.Remission: release from bondage or imprisonment
II.forgiveness or pardon, of sins
(letting them go as if they had never been committed), remission of the penalty.
In
His sinless life, sacrificial death and the shedding of His sinless blood, Jesus
Christ alone completely fulfilled God’s absolute standard to be the Mediator of
the new covenant with absolute sole authority to grant mercy and the free gift of
absolute complete, eternal permanent forgiveness to all who repent and believe
in and on Him. This is a great relief to Christians and a warning to those who
foolishly and in error believe they effected their own forgiveness by some
work(s) they have done for they have done nothing at all and are still unsaved
and should REPENT! And come believing.
Brothers
and sisters, the Bible lays out the very heart of God in sending His only Son
as the perfect sinless sacrifice to bring in the new covenant under which all
that believe are forgiven of all their sins and saved permanently.
God
reveals to us the intimate details of His Son’s tremendous mercy, mind, heart,
power, passion, faithfulness, love and truth for and to those whom He created
in taking away all their sins forever.
Resting
in the assurance of the Lord our Saviour, His love, truth, and faithfulness teaches
us to laugh in the storms of life and to dance in the rains, fully convinced
that all our losses are but gain. For we know by His love, strength and power
He is in us and always with us, so we are not afraid, and we are never alone;
for there is neither the hand nor the power that can take us from Him. Phl 4:4.

IN HEBREWS
REFORMATION:
meaning to straighten thoroughly; the Messianic restoration:
The Bible, saints (G40 hagios), is absolutely
clear that this first tabernacle God established under the Law would be
valid only until the time of reformation. Tragically and yes blasphemously the
reformation has been falsely attributed to the heretic Martin Luther-rabid hater of the
jewish people, and other false prophets
of humanistic theology, instead of the rightful Saviour Jesus Christ.
Holy
people, one must marvel at those who put their faith in vain in these heretics.
Luther wrote concerning the Jews: "We are at fault in not slaying them”
for avenging the death of Jesus Christ. Hitler's Nazi government in the 1930s
and 40s fit Luther's desires to a tee. Luther preached a false perverted gospel
of a powerless bloodless Christ: that is when he preached a person is saved by
grace alone by faith alone, by Christ alone, this is true but he never believed it. What he really believed and taught is the falsehood that the saved person remains a sinner and needs to keep “short accounts” in hopes of not
dying in unconfessed sin and winding up in hell. The Bible addresses such: 2Ti 3:5 - Having a form of
godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 1Jo 4:20 - If a man say, I love
God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his
brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? The protestant movement of
Professing churches sprang out of this heretic and other false prophets, giving
rise to salvation by works, a return to the Levitical Law, which is no
salvation at all.
Jesus Christ our true eternal Reformation:
Jesus changes every one who believes in
Him:
Heb 9:11But Christ being come an high priest
of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with
hands, that is to say, not of this building; 12Neither by the
blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the
holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. 13For if the
blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean,
sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14How much more
shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself
without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.
Brothers
and sisters, again and again God, declares the great eternal power of the
blood of Christ. The power and superiority of the sinless blood of our sinless
saviour Jesus Christ is so great that He
only had to offer it one time to cleanse all who believe from all their sins
permanently. The believer is not only forgiven, but thoroughly purged from his inherent
Adamic sin nature. The Christian indwelt by the Holy Spirit is empowered and taught
by scripture the standards and boundaries of the holy life God commands for His
people: 1 Pe 4: 2That he no longer should live the
rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of
God. 3For the time past of our
life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in
lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable
idolatries:
1 Pe 4: 15But let none
of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or
as a busybody in other men's matters.
1
Jhn 5: 18We know that whosoever
is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and
that wicked one toucheth him not.

IN HEBREWS
Heb
9: 1
The Earthly Tabernacle
(Exodus 25:1-9; Exodus 40:1-33)
1Then verily the first covenant
had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary. 2For there was a
tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the
table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary. 3And after the second
veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all; 4Which had the golden
censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was
the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of
the covenant; 5And over it the
cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak
particularly.
Brothers
and sisters, the tabernacle of the first covenant of the Law was built by men
upon the earth at the direction of God. Its complete structure was meant to
be temporary and designed by God based on the pattern of the true eternal
tabernacle in heaven which was to be revealed at a later time.
Heb 1:6Now when these things were thus
ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing
the service of God. 7But into the second went
the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered
for himself, and for the errors of the people: 8The Holy
Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made
manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: 9Which was a
figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and
sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as
pertaining to the conscience; 10Which stood
only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed
on them until the time of reformation.
We
have to note, brethren, the major flaws of this first tabernacle-the human
high priest was in every way, despite his title, just another sinner who had
to offer sacrifice for his own sins first, under pain of death if he did not,
before he could even began to offer sacrifice for the sins of all the people.
For all of the splendor of this first tabernacle pitched by men on earth, it
was just carnal, powerless to save souls, but it did offer limited
forgiveness in sacrificing animals etc. so that repentant sinners on earth
under the Law would not have to die for their own sins. The high priest alone
had the right to enter the holiest of all, it was the death penalty for any
others to enter into it. The Bible goes into great detail regarding the
harrowing life of the human high priests of the Law, life could end abruptly
if for them or their children if they did not carry out their service
perfectly, there are many more examples than I can post here: Exo 28:35; Exo 30:20; Lev 10:7; Lev 10:9; Lev 16:2; Num 20:26.

JOURNEY IN HEBREWS
Heb 8: 13In that he saith, A new covenant,
he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is
ready to vanish away.
Brothers
and sisters, the new covenant of Jesus Christ is superior, better and eternally
effectual in absolutely destroying the Adamic sin nature of the repentants,
which the old covenant could never do, as God did not purpose it for anything
but to show the truth of all men as vile sinners who cannot stop sinning. But for
those who put their faith in Jesus Christ and His eternal new covenant the Bible
declares:
1Jo 3:9 - Whosoever
is born of God doth not commit sin;
for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot
sin, because he is born of God.
Holy
people, the absolute eternal fact that God is omniscient, omnipresent, and
omnipotent is not euphemism. God created time for the dispensation of the
gospel to bring salvation to all who will believe in or unrepentantly reject
His Son Jesus Christ. God absolutely fixed
and confined all men to a limited life time within His time frame, but He Himself,
of course, is timeless and will one day end time: Rev 10:6.
Therefore,
when the believer is saved through faith in Jesus Christ, spontaneously, in His
omniscience Jesus knows all the sins that people will do and have done thoroughly
throughout the life time He has allotted them. Neither you, me or anyone else
will live one microsecond beyond the life time God has allotted to us.
Again, Jesus,
God the Son, and sinless saviour in His omniscience knows every sin the
repentant has done and will do in the allotted time He has given them on earth. God the
Son in His omnipresence finds every one of the repentants’ sins without error.
In His Omnipotence through the power of His eternal complete atonement He forgives
the repentants’ and totally washes away all of their sins forever. The sin
nature is destroyed and the repentant is made a new creature with a new nature
that desires and has the power of God to serve Him and no longer willfully
practices sin. The saint (G40 hagios) is a new creature left in their human
body so that over the process of their allotted time they can show to God and
demonstrate to the world that they have power over sin.
God
will allow them to be tested, tried, proven, guided, guarded, purged, helped to
grow, disciplined, spread the gospel, and bear fruit in righteousness. So, when
the believer comes to the points in time where there is sin, rather than beg
for the forgiveness of all his sins already permanently accomplished through faith
in Jesus Christ, he or she repents, refuses to practice it and turns to Christ instead.
If we really love and trust Christ, we will show it and use the power He has
given us so that we do not have to continue in any sin.
God
absolutely grants no salvation to anyone confessing their sins by 2Ch 7:14, solemn assemblies, holy convocations etc.
works which are all under the Mosaic,
or Levitical Law.
Salvation
is forever only through Jesus Christ’s eternal atoning work of His new covenant
nothing and no one else: Jhn 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh
unto the Father, but by me.
