CHAPTER 12 VS 24-29
THE ETERNAL NEW COVENANT OF JESUS CHRIST IS
PERMANENT NOT TEMPORARY AND GIVES PERMANENT NOT CONDITIONAL SALVATION AND
PERMANENT ETERNAL LIFE NOT CONDITIONAL TO ALL WHO BELIEVE IN HIM
HOW DO WE KNOW THIS IS TRUE?
GOD
DECLARED IT, HE IS THE ETERNAL TRUTH AND
IT IS
IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE.
WHAT IS THE DOCTRINE OF DEVILS?
ALL LIES THAT OPPOSE THE BIBLE.
WHO IS A FALSE TEACHER? ANYONE WHO WILLFULLY
PERVERTS THE GOSPEL AND DENIES ANY OF ITS TRUTH.
THE NEW COVENANT OF JESUS CHRIST
CHRIST’S ONE SACRIFICE ONCE FOR ALL
Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered
in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for
us.
Heb 8:10
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of
Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts:
and I
will be to them a
God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every
man his neighbour, and every
man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall
know me, from the least to the greatest.
Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and
their iniquities will I remember no more.
A child of the devil will deny THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH OF Heb 8:12 AND WILL LIE AND SAY ETERNAL LIFE,
ETERNAL SALVATION IS ONLY TEMPORARY AND CAN BE LOST INSTEAD OF THE TRUTH THAT
IT CAN NEVER BE LOST AND IS FOREVER, ETERNAL.
Heb 5:9 - And being
made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto
all them that obey him;
1Jo 5:10 - He
that believeth on the Son of God hath the
witness in himself: he that
believeth not God hath
made him a liar; because he
believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. A child of the devil comes to do the works of his father the devil to kill steal, and destroy, the faith of God's people. That child of the devil will pervert scripture to blaspheme, to lie on Jesus and say that Jesus will turn away from or reject His people. The child of the devil has no power to deceive the authentic Christian because we know the eternal truth that our great Shepherd and Lord Jesus Christ will never leave, forsake, nor cast out all that come to Him in faith; neither can any man nor creature pluck His people from His hand.
JESUS TEACHES
US THAT BOTH HIS BODY AND BLOOD WAS NECESSARY TO MAKE AND COMPLETE
THE ATONEMENT. Mat 26:26-28 The
New Covenant is an absolute, eternal unchanging blood covenant, is finished for
all time, Jesus Christ its Word, Saviour, Mediator, High Priest, HEAD OF THE
CHURCH, and Absolute Supreme Standard. He is the absolute gospel with all
of His doctrines, principals, and boundaries which are rooted, ratified,
unchanging, and set for all time, by and in the will of God the Father. Holy
brethren, we know that we must keep this fresh and not let it slip. This is all
a part of our spiritual food, eat it all.
CURSED ARE ALL WHO ADD TO OR TAKE AWAY FROM THIS
NEW COVENANT: Gal 1:8-9.
2Jo 1:10 - If there
come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into
your house, neither bid him God
speed:
2Jo 1:11 - For he that
biddeth him God speed is partaker of
his evil deeds.
Holy people, let us continually keep in remembrance and understanding
that all of our works or knowledge, regardless of how great, is worthless to
God and can never please Him without faith that works by love: Gal 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any
thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which
worketh by love.
Heb 11:6 But without faith it
is impossible to please him: for he that
cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he
is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Brothers
and sisters, let us the holy family/priests of God give our sacrifices of love,
thanks, praises, worship, and blessing to God our Father, who gave us all that
He has in His Son Jesus Christ, and to our Saviour/Mediator/ High Priest Jesus
Christ, God the Son of God with Power who died for us and rose again that we
can live eternally forgiven in Him, and to God the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of
Truth who has sealed us to God forever, and who strengthens and empowers us to
live out the Word of God in this present evil world.
Holy
brethren, love, blessings and peace to you. I thank God for you and for your
continuing patience and labors with me in this study of our glorious Lord and
Saviour Jesus Christ, in whom we are made complete, spiritually whole, filled
with His love for Him and one another, having no need to compete seeing we are
all equal in Him, although some have a greater responsibility. Therefore we
joyously cooperate to exalt Him
above all: Col
2:10-17;
Gal
3:28.
God commands that every believer be taught His word to know Him for themselves, directly through His word.
God has neither commanded, authorized nor set over the body
of Christ, gurus, spiritual elites, those who hold degrees, or have special
letters or titles behind their names, or esteemed for intellectual acumen,
descendants of pastors, etc., as the only ones who can understand, teach and
interpret scripture.
It is God’s command that all authentic godly teachers use
their ability to glorify God, equip all the saints (G40 hagios) to aid them to
learn and go forward to teach and live the gospel and to help others learn to
live it, teach it, and to share it in the world that all who believe will be
saved. In this way the spiritual yeast of the gospel permeates the whole body
of believers for so taught all the apostles .
We should trust God in His word. Then we can be confident and
competent that we are not harming ourselves or others in error but instead are building
ourselves up and others too through the word correctly interpreted by the word
as God commands. The godly teachers’ end goal is to aid Christians to grow to
maturity in knowing the word and remain stable in it, not to remain spiritual
babies in perpetual dependency on a teacher to understand even the most basic
doctrines of scripture.
We know, many are taught and established in the Word of God,
however it is not learned automatically. We know, new believers must be taught
it and even some in the pulpit for many years can be ignorant of it. There is
no need to go around looking for ignorant believers, we know it clearly by what
they ignorantly teach. Rather than becoming angry at them, and/or mocking them, let us instead, as
many are doing, share the word, as it was shared with us. The righteous will
gladly receive it but the heretic never will.
Paul keeps hammering away the eternal truth of the gospel, meticulously
nailing the gospel of Jesus Christ God the Son of God with power, into the
minds and hearts of these Hebrew believers who received it gladly as it is in
truth the Word of God never of men nor the doctrines of mere men. Paul gives us
God’s full picture of you, me- US THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST.
We, dearly beloveds, have to grasp, to fully embrace, fully
understand what, best- who the church of God is-the people of God alone.
Nothing outside of the body of Christ is the church. God has no alternatives to
His Body. No one ordained outside of the body of Christ is accepted by God as a
minister over the flock, no one saved by
works or in addition to works is ever accepted by God as a member of His
church.
Heb
12: 24 - And to
Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the
blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that
of Abel.
Abel’s blood justified himself and proved his righteousness
before God. The sinless blood of Christ is superior in that all who believe in
Him are justified by His sinless blood and saved in the sight of God the Father.
Mediator: Heb 8:6; Heb 9:15; 1Ti 2:5 - For there
is one God, and one mediator between
God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
One who intervenes between two, either in order to make or
restore peace and friendship, or to form a compact, or for ratifying a covenant.
Everything and everyone in God’s kingdom have been bought and
paid for by the atoning work of Jesus Christ God the Son of God with power in
His shed blood, death and resurrection. Our salvation is the free gift of God
through Jesus and not by works. Raise your hand brothers and sisters if you have learned from Jesus what eternal love and truth is, because He gave us everything He has, God His Father, love, true knowledge and wisdom His body, His blood, His death, His life, a seat with Him in His throne to reign and live forever with Him in the very presence of God our Father whom we shall see face to face. I raised my ✋ 🤚 many times.
It is the will of God
the Father that only through Jesus are all local churches-the people of God in
whom He dwells, commanded, qualified, and authorized along with the presbytery to
test approve and ordain those of sound quality of character as fit to be elders,
pastors, bishops, deacons, teachers in their particular offices to defend/preach
the gospel, protect, care, guide and ensure growth of the flock of God to use
their gifts to the church and live holy lives in the world: Tit 1:5.
We
know that there are some who believe in error that they are made members of
Christ’s body through faith in Christ plus someone other than Christ and/or
membership in various denominations, organizations, doctrines of men, institutions, traditions, training
in schools of so-called higher learning etc. These eternal truths might offend some, but blessed are those who find no offense in Lord Jesus Christ, and who come to Him by faith alone not by the works of men nor of their own hands. We know the righteous will receive the truth when they hear it, but the apostate never will: 1Jo 5:10 - He
that believeth on the Son of God hath the
witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath
made him a liar; because he believeth not the
record that God gave of his Son.
Rev 21:8 - But the
fearful, and unbelieving, and the
abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall
have their part in the lake which burneth with
fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
After
Paul received the gospel of Lord Jesus
Christ
he declared: Phl
3:7 - But what things were gain to
me, those I counted loss for Christ.
Phl 3:8 - Yea doubtless, and I
count all things but loss for the
excellency of the knowledge of
Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered
the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I
may win Christ,
Phl 3:9 - And be
found in him, not having mine
own righteousness, which is of the law, but that
which is through the faith of Christ, the
righteousness which is of God by faith:
Paul
warns all:
25 - See that
ye refuse not him that
speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused
him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape,
if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
God spoke plainly from the Mount on earth and quickly destroyed
certain of those in the nation of Israel who rejected Him. His judgment was
swift, terrible, and without mercy.
Now Jesus Christ God the Son of God is speaking from heaven.
He forbids the cherry picking of the gospel. Jesus will never compromise His
word with you, me, us. It is true that God
gives men, women, even angels free will to choose not to believe or obey Him. However,
neither men nor angels are free to escape the certain eternal irreversible punishment
in the lake of fire of God for their choosing to reject His Son Jesus Christ. God warns all do not add to and do not take away from His Word.
26 - Whose voice then shook the
earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once
more I shake not the
earth only, but also heaven.
27 - And this word, Yet once
more, signifieth the removing of those things that are
shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which
cannot be shaken may remain.
God makes it clear that He will totally destroy out of His
kingdom this present natural world, including every wicked thing, the devil, every
man- made work of righteousness, and every man or woman purporting to be made righteous
by their own works, or any works other than faith in Christ.
28 - Wherefore we
receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us
have grace, whereby we may
serve God acceptably with reverence and godly
fear:
No devil, demon, nor man can beat God. God is unconquerable, God is unlimited
in power, God is invincible, God is unshakable, God's eyes never close in sleep and God's eyes never
blink. God will perform His inexorable will, God will preserve His kingdom alone
forever.
Therefore, brethren, we joyfully serve our God in holy fear
and in reverence of His love, almighty power, and absolute truth, warning every
man and urging every man to receive the free grace of salvation while the door
is still open.
Jesus declares of those willfully operating apart from His will:
Rev 22:15 -For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a
lie.
Jesus doesn’t mince words, dearly beloved, there is no touchy
feely, wishy washy, warm and fuzzy speaking. He is not being cruel but is
telling the absolute truth about the true nature of anyone who rejects Him. No
such persons shall ever enter the kingdom of God: Rom 1:20-1:21.
29 - For our God is a
consuming fire. God warns all do not add to His word and do not take away from His word.
Our God is a consuming fire who lovingly purifies His people, but to the
wicked who do not obey Him and resist His Sovereign will, He is the fire that will burn the wicked forever in His indignation and
wrath who reject the only source of Salvation His Son Jesus Christ.
