Beloveds, we must clear up the lie that when the Lord told Joshua he would have good success through obeying the Law, that this was meant for Christians today. The Lord told this to Joshua that in obeying the Old Covenant of the Law God would give him success in conquering certain lands and taking these lands for the nation of Israel: Joshua 1: 5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.

Also in keeping the Old Covenant of the Law, (which is all they had from God), he would not face the wrath of God and die as Aaron and Moses did for their disobedience to God in not keeping the Old Covenant of the Law: Num. 27: 12 And the LORD said unto Moses, Get thee up into this mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given unto the children of Israel. 13 And when thou hast seen it, thou also shalt be gathered unto thy people, as Aaron thy brother was gathered. 14 For ye rebelled against my commandment in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes: that is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.

Moses never preached that the Old Covenant of the Law would make anyone permanently righteous in the sight of God. Here is the truth, preached by our Saviour Jesus Christ: Jhn 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.

Luk 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, THEN CHRIST IS DEAD IN VAIN.

See Galatians 3, which explains God’s purposes for the Law; and how Jesus Christ has delivered us from it for all time. Feel free to study on your own the numerous verses that fully declare that Jesus Christ is the eternal Saviour and final sole source of eternal salvation for all time for all who believe in Him. See John 14:6.

Anyone willfully claiming salvation based on keeping the Old Covenant of the Law and/ or combining it with the New Covenant of Jesus Christ, or anything else is not considered a Christian according to the Bible.

Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, THEN CHRIST IS DEAD IN VAIN.

Gal 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the CURSE: for it is written, CURSED is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 11 But that NO MAN is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

          1Ti. 1:5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

1Ti 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; 11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

    TELL SOME ONE ABOUT JESUS

    TELL SOME ONE ABOUT JESUS

In these last days, dear children of light I have found the scriptures to be the same, today, yesterday, and tomorrow, exactly as Lord Jesus has said in His word. I notice how easy it is to witness in the less prosperous areas of my city. How hungry so many of the people are there to hear the gospel, and when they hear it, many of them believe on Jesus in their hearts and confess this same thing with their mouths. I have found, ordinary folk, and even prostitutes. pimps, even some who might be called “thugs”, gratefully falling down in abject repentance upon hearing the word of God.

In some of these same areas each block is dotted with many churches, most seem not to be isolated from one another because they visit back and forth with each other to fellowship. It takes many buildings to hold all of the people. You should see what it looks like on a Sunday, the number of the people flocking into the churches are too numerous to count.

Their testimonies saying what they used to be and how not only were they saved; but turned to a life of righteousness from darkness, honor the Lord and give Him all the glory. Many of these same people, go back to the streets, and the prisons taking the gospel to the lost, even as they once were.

Yes, saints, I know the media cannot wait to broadcast the acts of the wicked rampaging in some of these areas. But, dear ones, they will never show you the multitudes of righteous, decent, hardworking men and women of God, who boldly acknowledge God in their every day lives, going around doing

good. Maybe some of these people would not be welcome in some of the more prosperous churches because they might be seen as too poor, too shabby, the wrong color, the wrong background, but I tell you saints heaven will be filled with such as I am sure you already know.

Conversely, I have found it is hard to share the gospel in the more prosperous areas, finding not only indifference, but outright hostility.

Nevertheless, we must tell others about Jesus. We plant and another waters,

but it is God who gives the increase. The scriptures notes:  Matt 19:23-26 kjv Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. 24 And again I say unto you it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? 26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them,

With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. So I pray that through our Lord Jesus, many will not lose heart, but trust God and share the gospel with every one that we can.

I was blessed not long ago to share the gospel with an elderly relative who believed on Jesus when she heard it. As the Lord gives us opportunity let us share the gospel with all that we can, even as many, many saints are continuing in this same thing. Besides the joy of being saved ourselves, I know nothing else that compares to the joy of seeing a sinner believing on Jesus, and become a child of God. And you know something, it won’t stop there, they are going to share the gospel too, even as it was once shared with us, who also share with others. No saint can be too busy to share the gospel.

Also do not think, dear ones, that just because a person shows up in church that they are saved, or even know what the gospel is. I know, that many of you dear children of God already know this. I admit that initially I did not know this, although it was a long time ago. I saw a man in church, and felt led to speak to him. He shared with me that he had spent time in prison, and in fact had just been released. I shared the gospel with him and he believed on Jesus. He shared with me he was just about to leave the church to harm someone who had harmed a member of his family, before I had spoken to him, but now that he had become a Christian, he would leave the matter in the hands of the law, where it rightfully belonged, because he wanted to please Jesus.

I urge you, dear brothers and sisters, tell some one about Jesus, as the opportunity arises. I urge you also to seek to look for opportunities to tell someone about Jesus. I pray that our Lord will encourage the hearts of all saints everywhere to share the same gospel that others shared with us, that brought us to Christ. God calls all men (women too) everywhere to repent. But how shall they be saved unless they hear the word? Let us not be fearful of being ridiculed or rejected for sharing the gospel, for at times this can and will happen. The Lord does not hold us responsible should others reject the gospel, give it anyway, and leave the rest in Jesus’ hands, with complete trust.

    Lk 15:10

Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

    God's authority VS. Man's authority

    GOD’S AUTHORITY VS. MAN’S AUTHORITY(PART FIFTHTEEN)

The Lord is good all the time, and all the time He is good, even if sometimes the times are not good. I pray, that our Lord will always help us to remember that no situation, circumstance or condition can change these facts- God is always good all the time.. Saints regardless of what is happening in our personal lives, let not one of us, I pray, fail to recognize, that Jesus cares, and is not surprised by any of these things happening in the lives of His people.

Indeed many of God’s people, in the past, now and even in the future, until our King returns, experience fiery trials. Yes brothers and sisters, good times are desirable, but God does not promise only good times. He says in His word: 1Pe. 4:12-14 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye, for the spirit of glory and God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. Count God worthy, dear ones, and place His worthiness above all else.

I do not want to have a study within a study, but the essential thing to keep in mind is that ignorance of our God given authority, impairs us in our walk. I set forth a hierarchy of power from more to less as set forth in part fourteen of this study. No study can be exhaustive, but a piece of the whole cloth, that each of us participate in to nurture, nourish, and help one another to grow in grace. We love Jesus because He first loved us. Let us love Him by knowing Him through His word rightly divided; and when we know and love Him, we shall also love one another, even as He loves us.

The fact remains, holy brothers and sisters, God has given us a measure of authority, that must only be used righteously. The authority that Christians have is over all the authority of the satanic kingdom, and well able to demolish evil strongholds. Through prayer every believer in Christ has authority to come before our sovereign Lord, boldly, in times of need. Every endeavor of God’s people must be under girded by prayer.

This concludes this study, God willing, until next time, trust in the King, love one another fervently, stand for the truth of God’s word, rightly divided, settle it that God's word, rightly divided is the final standard for all men. Share your faith with the lost- because hell is real. Pray for all the saints, and all men everywhere. Walk with discernment in these times, for Jesus is coming back soon.

God's Authority VS. Man's Authority Part fourteen

    GOD’S AUTHORITY VS. MAN’S AUTHORITY(PART FOURTEEN)

Great is the Lord and He alone is worthy to be worshipped, exalted, praised and honored above all peoples and all things. What a privilege, opportunity and blessing that our God and Maker would give us the right as His children to bless His awesome name!!! Say it with me, children of light: All blessings, glory, power and might to YOU alone Lord. We whom YOU have made, offer up our love, worship, adoration, thanks giving, and peace to YOU our Maker and King, now and for all ages to come world without end Amen.

Dear children, God’s word rightly understood and interpreted is our Final answer in all things, and is the end of all arguments and contradictions.

The Holy Spirit from the very beginning was and is our teacher directly, through the office of teachers, pastors, and other gifts given to the church, and to all the saints individually, and when we study the scriptures.

In truth only through the Holy Spirit can we understand and have the ability to rightly interpret God’s word. God’s word gives us complete understanding of His purpose, His gifts/offices in and to the church, His plan, as well as the end expectation that will result from following Him in these matters. See Ephesians chapter 4, and I recommend this whole chapter also, encouraging close attention to how true unity of the faith is to be accomplished; and how we gain protection and a rock study shield against deception, and to see that we have authority to put on the new man.

Knowledge of God’s word is available to all the saints through the Holy Spirit. It would seem unnecessary to quote the scriptures that the natural man cannot understand the word of God and it seems like foolishness unto them, see 1Co. 2:14. But to the saints, not withstanding the aforementioned, He says in His word that we should 2 Tim. 2:14-15 kjv Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Sadly today, dear children we have an example in the denominations today, of a failure to understand the simple truth of the gospel.. One example is the baptist churches, who claim that one can only be saved through water baptism, in the name of Jesus only and some say in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. What happened here is easy to see, by the grace of God, His Son Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. I make no boast in myself, but humbly give thanks to the triune God who is our only truth , and who resists the proud but gives grace to the humble, let humility unto God be found in each and every one of us God’s people, I pray.

According to the Holy Bible Mt. 3:11;Mk. 1:4; Mk. 1:8; Lk 3:16: John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire.

So we see here the two baptisms one of water, and the other baptism of the Holy Ghost through Jesus Christ our Messiah, Saviour and Redeemer. John here freely admits, all he could do was to immerse the repentant in water, you see children of God, John well understood that, even though those he baptized were repentant, THERE WAS NO REMISSION OR FORGIVENESS OF SIN IN WATER BAPTISM. John called men to repent only but  he had not the power to forgive sins, nor was this power given to him-it was and is reserved for Jesus Christ alone. The scriptures makes it perfectly clear no person can be saved by a mere human being immersing them in water, to which John has already attested.

The second baptism shown in the scriptures, THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN SAVE A REPENTENT SINNER AND BRING TRUE SALVALTION is that of the Lord Jesus Christ, fully God and fully sinless man, who baptizes the repentant sinner with the Holy Ghost and fire making them saints, and new creations in Christ Jesus. This is the only baptism that saves andt places such persons into the body of Christ, forgiving their sins and making them children of God. See Acts 2. Feel free to look further on your own, saints. Note in Revelation water baptism is not mentioned at all.

Water baptism is an outward sign and public admittance of repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Only those who have received the inward baptism of the Holy Ghost through faith in Jesus Christ should receive water baptism.

So we see, dear children, there are persons today who teach and worship water baptism only, and believe that an ordinary sinful man has the power to dip them in it and save them, through the ignorance that is in them, causing multitudes to stumble. The saints have been given the right and authority through Jesus Christ, to know and live the word of God, which we must share with all that we can.

The saints have authority through Jesus Christ. Now it is useful to know that there is an hierarchy of power and authority, fully understanding that All power and authority, might, strength, dominion and control belongs to the triune God alone who stands above all His creation in heaven and on earth past present and for all eternity. Therefore let us fully grasp that this hierarchy consists only of those to whom God has granted power and authority in descending order, for obviously the triune God is the head who has created all things and for whom all things exist. So again this hierarchy only relates to His creations and the power and authority they have been given through God, in descending order from more to less.

    1. God’s angelic host

2 The people of God- whose future is to be as the angels of heaven.

    3. Human governments for good, some are not or have components that are not good.

    4. Principalities and powers, ie satan and his host of demons.

    5. All unsaved persons-they have physical power, ie force and /or deception only and can be subject to demonic possession.

We shall stop here, dear saints, God willing I hope to see you here next time. Until then, I pray that we shall know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that we might be filled with all the fulness of God. Eph.3:19

    Love

    GOD’S AUTHORITY VS. MAN’S AUTHORITY(PART THIRTEEN)

    Obey all authorities?

Blessed be the name of God Almighty, who alone is the victory of His people. To the Triune God alone belongs all strength, power, authority, dominion, honor, glory, praise, and worship, now and world without end. Amen.

Dear saints, let no man, ( this includes women too), deceive you or bring you into bondage with false standards, false doctrines, nor false authority/power. Let no man judge nor enslave you in meats, drinks or holidays, rituals or other man-made traditions which are but a mere shadow and not true holiness. Allow no man to make less of you and more of himself because of your outward appearance, or use their office in the church to call themselves “clergy” and you “laity or lay person”

All saints are equal, although some saints, because of their office are subject to more responsibility. Yet we ought to obey godly humble saints, who obey God out of love for Him and the saints in the performance of their office, and count them that rule well worthy of double honor. Nevertheless Jesus Christ is to be honored first and above all in every area of our lives.

Dear children of the Lord, I once saw a show on detection of counterfeit money. The expert in this area was asked, if he had to study a lot of counterfeit money so that he could know the false from the real. The expert gave an answer that seemed to surprise the questioner: The expert responded that he studied real money, over and over again constantly, continually. He did this so much that when a counterfeit was presented he could easily detect it due to his intense familiarity with real or authentic money.

And so each of us the Lord’s people must lean on and trust the Holy Spirit with which Jesus Christ baptized each one of us who believe on Him into the body of Christ. We can trust that this same Spirit who indwells us will and has given us the ability to grow in Christ through the study of His word out of love for our God. 2 Ti. 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved UNTO GOD, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Only what we do for God out of loving obedience will have eternal weight. We are doing this to please our Lord, and not to impress people or promote ourselves as someone great. In this way we too can gain the expertise to discern truth from error, and not for ourselves only, but to be shared among the saints, no offering being too small, but a piece of the whole cloth in the edifying of the saints.

If you watch a dvd movie, you will notice that most of them will post notices that the fines for pirating a movie can lead up to five years imprisonment and fines of a vast some of money. Now I have no issue with this per se, the real issue is that this is but an example of how much less human life is valued, that the life of a baby can be taken through abortion and not seen by those who permit it as criminal in nature, and evil in it’s very essence.

Some might say it is but a little tissue, therefore there is no need to make a big deal out of abortion, any way it is a woman’s right. Yes, this is true according to secular standards, and even under the laws of many, many nations. However, all Christians are held to God’s standard, which trumps all others. According to the word of God that which is in the womb is a child, although unborn-still a child or baby, deserving the life given by God.

God’s standards apply to all people, and every soul shall give account to Him.

Christians have authority to seek the protection of unborn children, to challenge the laws that govern such activities lawfully. We can seek to take away the dollars that make such activities profitable for those who perform abortions-world wide. The saints can educate, challenge, and teach not only in the church, but in our own families, and communities, not to look the other way, but to speak the truth in love- that abortion is the taking of the life of an unborn baby. Godly men can teach other men not to look the other way, and to take responsibility for their action, for the man too is just as responsible as the mother. And thank God, for the saints that are already

working in this area and so much more. I praise Him for the saints in my city and many others as well, who have stepped into the void with prayers, and practical help to mothers whom by the grace of God they have turned away from harming their unborn child.

Now we dare not minimize the power of prayer to Jesus Christ our Redeemer, Saviour, and great Deliverer, which must undergird, every undertaking of the saints, and whose counsel is readily available to His people. I want to emphasize that prayer is not the least that God’s people can do, but the greatest and the starting point of our endeavors.

The study will be continued and I pray to see you here next time, dear children of light. Until then lift up the name of Jesus in worship and praise, and pray all kinds of prayers fervently for the little children. Pray that the hearts of parents will turn towards the children with mercy and compassion. Pray that the governments of the nations will have mercy on the unborn, and unloose their treasuries to make abortion for financial reasons unnecessary, to make every child a wanted child, to provide more help for those willing to adopt. Above all things saints, let us settle it once and for all that God’s way is the only right way, according to His word, rightly divided.

    GOD’S AUTHORITY VS. MAN’S AUTHORITY(PART TWELVE)

    Obey all authorities?

Mark 13:34-37 (KJ Mark 13:34-37 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch, 35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. See the whole of this chapter.

Praise our God, through Jesus Christ our Saviour, who is blessed forevermore, for He has given each and every one of us who have believed in Him, not only authority, but each of us our own work, and has commanded us to watch over those things that pertain to all that is righteous and godly. These tasks are not to be seen as drudgery, or useless toil, holy brothers and sisters, for indeed, even in these He has empowered us through the Holy Spirit to both will and to do. Let us rejoice greatly and not grow weary in well doing, nor fall into slumber, for our God has commanded each of us to watch, work, stay awake, aware and discerning the times, for the King will come suddenly. See Mt. 24 regarding rewards for watching and penalties for refusing to watch.

In studies such as this, it is very important to be clear that there is no advocacy of any individual or groups to take up arms or to commit violence against anyone. God has made it clear in his word that we must obey laws that govern for safety, and for order. However, those laws that forbid the worship of God cannot be obeyed by God”s people, as I mentioned earlier in this study.

Not long ago after world war two, trials were held for those who had committed war crimes against the Jews and others. Many of us are familiar with the arguments of the death camp guards, and others there who were found guilty, but nevertheless attempted to justify themselves by arguing that that they were only “obeying orders", when they put to death millions in the most horrible ways. We even note the participation of ordinary citizens, who either passively looked the other way, and those who also played an active part, in rounding up Jews to be sent to the death camps. For sure there were heroes arising out of this Holocaust through which many Jewish people were saved, who knew that what their government was doing was morally wrong, and risked even death to help those victims.

What is the point here saints? Even history teaches that there are laws and authority higher than that of any government . SAY WHAT!! I tell you again, saints. As many of you already know, there are laws higher than man's laws, and that there is authority higher than man’s authority. Now even the natural man knows that there are moral laws that are higher than human authority. But now, I say unto you that God’s authority and His word trumps them all.

There was a case where a hospital aborted a baby, it had the legal right to do so at the mother’s request; but the baby was born alive anyway. So it was placed in a room to die. However, a nurse stumbled upon the baby, and secretly took, cared for and raised the baby. She went public with her story, presenting her lovely daughter now an adult, who had been that baby, but was left with some health problems due to the attempted abortion. This nurse responded to a law higher than that which allowed an innocent baby to be put to death. The practice of abortion  is not new; and appears to be prevalent world wide. Certain governments are directly  very active in this area. It is a known fact that China has killed so many female children in the womb, that now there are not enough women of marriageable age in an overwhellmingly male population.

The study will be continued God willing. I hope to see you here again next time. Until then let us pray for great deliverance for the children, and repentance of both men and women to turn them away from putting their pre- born children to death. Let us pray for many workers to reach out and provide help in this time of great need. Let us continue to pray for the saints engaged in helping mothers to be, not to take the lives of their pre- born children, and those providing for their needs.

    Love
