NO SALVATION WITHOUT FAITH IN THE REAL JESUS CHRIST
Brothers and sisters, let us continually give thanks and praises
to God, and look forward to the glorious appearing of our Lord and Saviour, God
the Son Jesus Christ. In the presence of God the Father, God the Holy Spirit, and
the holy angels we, His holy people will watch in awe, joy, and utter delight
as God the Son, Lord Jesus demonstrates before us His mega powers of creation
to dispose of this old world and create new heavens and a new earth where He
will dwell with us in the presence of God the Father and the Holy Spirit, and the
No one but God, brethren, knows the day of His appearing, but let
us stay ready and occupy until He comes: Luk 19:13
And he called his ten servants, and
delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I
For we are members of
his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
Brothers and sisters, thanks for hanging with me in
this study which started back in October 2021 and coming to an end in this new
year of 2022. We began this study with our brother John the apostle’s joy to
share with us the knowledge/understanding of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
intimately in all His awesome love, truth, wisdom, mercy, kindness, and power,
so that our joy would be full too in fellowship with Him and one another. We leave
John with the knowledge that Jesus Christ finished His atoning work in our
behalf forever and gave every believer authority and power to live holy self-
controlled disciplined lives accountable/responsible to Him and one another
while we wait for His return.
Therefore, we can totally dismiss spiritual slops
that claim Christians are hapless, helpless victims of sin. No such doctrine is
found in scripture. Instead, we find these explicit, blunt, uncompromising commands
coming from the mouth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Himself:
Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend
thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it
is better for thee to enter
into life halt or maimed, rather
than having two hands or two feet to be
cast into everlasting fire.
And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it
is better for thee to
enter into life maimed, than having two hands to
go into hell, into the fire that never shall be
Jesus is not teaching self- mutilation, nor asceticism,
but self-control, self-discipline, self-restraint out of love and obedience to
the will of God above our own, which is our reasonable service to God: Rom 12:1.
John carries forth the message of Christ that the
practice of sin is forbidden, because we do not have to practice sin. Jesus gives
us the practical aspect of understanding how ruthlessly and uncompromisingly we
are to deal with personal lusts arising out of our old nature, get rid of it,
cut it off. There is to be no compromise with the flesh, the practice of sin, or
serving lusts and putting those things above Him. God will not punish, nor
condemn the righteous, for they gladly, out of love and trust in God considers
repentance from the practice of the works of the flesh to please God and do His
will a good thing. Those who choose to live unrepentantly for their own
pleasure and will instead of God’s show they do not belong to Him, and shall
enter into hell fire, never heaven.
That ye put off concerning the
former conversation the old man, which is
corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
Holy people, we have confidence and trust in God that
whatever He commands us to do is because He also gives us the power to do it. We
gladly suffer the discomfort of letting go of what God forbids. With patience
we experience victories although they may be small to start, but we get
stronger and better at it over time.
God set Jesus as our eternal standard and example:
1Pe 2:21 For even hereunto were
called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an
example, that ye should follow his steps:
Forasmuch then as Christ hath
suffered for us in the
flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the
same mind: for he that hath suffered in the
flesh hath ceased from sin;
Ceased: to make to cease or desist; to restrain a
thing or person from something; to cease, to leave off; have got release from
sin; no longer stirred by its incitements and seductions.
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us
cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the
fear of God.
Dearly beloveds, we don’t have to reinvent the wheel
in trying to figure out how to deal with our old man, Jesus has done that for
us. The Bible does not assume we automatically know the works of the flesh,
which is why the Bible teaches what it is what it does and explicitly states
the consequences of living unrepentantly in the flesh.
Saints (G40 hagios), we have the spiritual DNA of Jesus
Christ, He has set us to grow and mature in Him over time, as we study/Hear the
word, understand the word, ruthlessly apply the word, and steadily,
deliberately, consciously, do/obey the word out of love, trust and faith in God;
we are guaranteed by God to bear good fruit, become stronger, and gain the self
-control, self-restraint, and self-discipline that we desire. Of course, God
besides Himself, gives us brothers and sisters to help us along the way. Later
as mature Christians we have the joy of helping other brothers and sisters,
even as we ourselves have been helped.
For the law of the Spirit of
life in Christ Jesus hath
made me free from the law of sin and death.

NO SALVATION WITHOUT FAITH IN THE REAL JESUS CHRIST
Holy brethren, blessed be the name of our Lord and
Saviour, Jesus Christ the Son of God of eternal power and might, who has
redeemed us, washed us in His sinless blood and keeps us forever by His
indwelling power, so that we have eternal life, His endless love, absolute
truth and peace with God the Father, and the empowerment of God the Holy Spirit to
live godly lives:
And God is able to
make all grace abound toward you; that ye,
always having all sufficiency in all things,
may abound to every good work:
Holy brethren, anyone content to feed on spiritual
slops of a false man- made doctrine of a weak, insipid, soft, oh He so sweet Jesus
understands we are all sinners, will not gain strength but remain spiritually
weak and flabby wusses, in bondage to their own lusts and the deceitfulness of
the flesh, living in terror and dismay at the absolute truth of Jesus Christ, instead of the bold cheerful confidence and
Joy of the absolute commands of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, knowing that
God allows our trials to strengthens us never to destroy us:
A good tree cannot bring
forth evil fruit, neither can a
corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Mat 7:19 Every tree that
bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn
down, and cast into the fire.
Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or
else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is
known by his fruit.
Dearly beloveds, God already knows whether we are His
or not, but He wants us and everyone else to know whether we are His or not by
the fruit we bear. Therefore, do not believe the lie that no one can know
whether or not they are saved or belong to Jesus Christ.
But he that received seed into the
good ground is he that heareth the
word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth
forth, some an
hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
Good fruit is absolutely the only fruit accepted by God.
Thank God, holy people, we never have to remain spiritually
weak and flabby, but casting out doubt, unbelief, and false doctrines of every
sort, we come believing all that Christ our Lord has done and teaches us so
that we can mature and grow in Him steadily over time. Jesus Christ, brethren, is
a hard tough man who never ceases to be God. Is there any amongst us that has a
problem with pornography, lustful eyes, out of control desires for filth that God
forbids? Lord Jesus commands:
And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it
is better for thee to enter into life with one
eye, rather than having two eyes to be
cast into hell fire.
Jesus commands and unleashes His followers to take
radical active steps in dealing with out-of-control flesh-stop it, kill it. Scriptures
teach us that we will not be able to reason with our flesh, improve our flesh,
or change its carnal nature in any way. Over and over again the Bible warns do
not feed our flesh, do not coddle our flesh put it to death, ruthlessly,
persistently, and relentlessly. This does not mean actually harming ourselves
physically, but stamping out, rooting out unholy desires, patterns of behaviors
and overcoming them not allowing them to control our lives in any manner any
The multitude of mature brothers and sisters know
this does not happen over night and victories may start small, but our spiritually
flabby muscles are strengthened over time, and become stronger and stronger, as we exercise our God given powers, so that
instead of continuing in sin, as forgiven peoples, we develop a consistent
pattern of repentance, i.e., turning away from any sin to God, bearing fruit,
passing our tests and proving to our God and all men, by our loving obedience
in trusting Jesus, that His will is our eternal Standard, and the eternal
absolute best for us. Then we can confidently let go of, put to death that
which offends Him with confidence that He is honored and pleased with us in our
We notice, holy brethren, that Jesus our Lord and
Saviour is not playing around with anybody, he is absolutely explicit, He is
not making a polite request, He is not offering a kind of optional suggestion, but
declaring the absolute truth- bear fruit in obedience, self-restraint, self-control.
He unleashes His people to be spiritually violent, to be relentless, persistent,
deliberate and ruthless, in putting to death the unholy desires, patterns, and
will of the sin nature or old man.
All who refuse to obey Him and unrepentantly choose
to continue on their way doing their will over His can look forward to hell
fire, final judgement, and condemnation of God.
However, dearly beloveds, God speaks of better things
for all in whom Jesus dwells in, with God and the Holy Spirit, surrounding us
with brothers and sisters so we never walk alone but always have help, encouragement,
empowerment, knowledge, and power to live holy lives of power and self -control,
self-restraint, the way God commands.
The declarations and commands of Lord Jesus are
carried forth in scripture and indeed can be found in the whole of it:
AMP Col 3: 5So put to death and deprive
of power the evil longings of your earthly body [with its sensual,
self-centered instincts] immorality, impurity, sinful passion,
evil desire, and greed, which is [a kind of] idolatry [because it replaces your
devotion to God]. 6Because
of these [sinful] things the [divine] wrath of God is coming on the sons
of disobedience [those who fail to listen and who routinely and obstinately
disregard God’s precepts], 7and in these [sinful
things] you also once walked, when you were habitually living
in them [without the knowledge of Christ]. 8But now rid yourselves
[completely] of all these things: anger, rage, malice, slander, and obscene
(abusive, filthy, vulgar) language from your mouth. 9Do not lie to one
another, for you have stripped off the old self with its evil practices, 10and have put on the
new [spiritual] self who is being continually renewed in true
knowledge in the image of Him who created the new self…
On no account, saints (G40 hagios) can we find in
scripture that Christians are helpless victims of sin, instead we consistently
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him,
that the body of sin might be destroyed, that
henceforth we should not serve sin.
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the
affections and lusts.
Crucified: metaph. to crucify, put to
death the flesh or old nature, destroy its power utterly (the nature of the
figure implying that the destruction is attended with intense pain);
figuratively, to extinguish (subdue) passion or selfishness: —crucify.

NO SALVATION WITHOUT FAITH IN THE REAL JESUS
God’s Word Trans 1 Jo 3:9-10 9Those who have been born
from God don't live sinful lives. What God has said lives in them, and they
can't live sinful lives. They have been born from God. 10This is the way God's
children are distinguished from the devil's children. Everyone who doesn't do
what is right or love other believers isn't God's child.
AMP 1 Jo: 9No
one who is born of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin,
seed [His principle of life, the essence of His righteous character] remains
[permanently] in him [who is born again--who is reborn from above--spiritually
transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose]; and he [who is born
again] cannot habitually [live a life characterized by] sin,
because he is born of God and longs to please Him. 10By this the children of God
and the children of the devil are clearly identified: anyone who does not
practice righteousness [who does not seek God’s will in thought, action, and
purpose] is not of God, nor is the one who does not ([unselfishly) love his [believing]
Brothers and sisters, our brother Paul the
apostle did not get wishy washy, warm and fuzzy, or touchy feely when teaching
the Corinthians about fornication. Paul never told them to be compassionate and
understanding about those who practiced fornication, because we are all sinners, but for the grace of God go we. He never fed them such
spiritual slops which would leave them spiritually weak and flabby. He held
them to the standard of Christ within the boundaries of the New Covenant
telling them frankly: 1Co 5:11 But now I
have written unto you not to keep company, if ay
man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an
idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an
extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
Nor did Paul direct them to start a sex addict
group or a group for folks who, “love too much”. Instead, He told them the
6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a
man doeth is without the body; but he that
committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
Paul further warned them about God’s
punishment/consequences of disobedience regarding fornication: 1Co 6:9 Know
ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the
God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers
of themselves with mankind,
Paul was explicit that they should not fool
themselves nor be fooled, God is absolutely never going to negotiate, compromise, cut a
deal, allow options or plan B’s to anyone willfully unrepentantly practicing anything
that He forbids.
Brothers and sisters, Paul did not think it harsh or strange to
direct the Corinthian believers to have self- control, self-restraint, as this was
not beyond their capability in that this is a power given to every believer.
Paul never backed down from telling God’s truth: Amp 2 Ti 1: 7For God did not give us a
spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but
[He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal
discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and
KJV 2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the
spirit of fear; but of power, and of
love, and of a sound mind.
Sound mind: an admonishing or calling to
soundness of mind, to moderation and self-control.
The Bible, brethren, does not teach that believers automatically know how God commands them to live, they (all of us), have to be taught it from God's words. Paul teaching the Corinthian believers is one of countless explicit examples that we also are commanded to follow, hear and do.
Jesus teaches us how to exercise to develop
our spiritual muscles to overcome any sin.

NO SALVATION WITHOUT FAITH IN THE REAL JESUS CHRIST
Brothers and sisters, let us continuously
celebrate our King, Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ the Son of God. Let us, His
priests under His High Priesthood, worship Him with lavish love offerings and sweet
sacrifices of praises, honor, and thanks, giving glory to His holy name. Oh,
what joy, brethren, that we can celebrate His love for us and our love for Him
and one another.
Praise Jesus who is our Deliverer who has
delivered us from the power of darkness: Col 1:13. Jesus,
Lord, we thank you for being the Good Shepherd who laid down your life for us,
and you are The Way, The Truth and The Life, Jhn 14:6; King of
Kings, Lord of Lords, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, The Mighty God, Lion
of Judah, The Alpha and the Omega and our eternal First Love and salvation
everlasting. We adore you and Love you Jesus because you first loved us; without
you we can do nothing: Jhn 15:5.
I know I am saved; I know Jesus has
washed me from all my sins and forgiven me forever, but I know I have sinned or
done wrong after I was saved what do I do about that and why do I still do it
These questions, brothers and sisters, are
fully answered and understood from God’s absolute perspective, because He
allows our faith to be tested in our temptations, however, God tempts no man, (Jas 1:13). These
temptations arise out of our own lusts, (Jas 1:14). It
might seem contradictory to some, brethren, however, God always knows best: Jas 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye
fall into divers temptations; Jas 1:3 Knowing this,
that the trying of your faith worketh patience. Jas 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye
may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Physically we know, brethren, Lord Jesus is
gone up to heaven, however He is God the Son equal to God the Father and God
the Holy Spirit, all of them omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent AND NEVER
SEPARATE THEY ARE ONE GOD IN THREE PERSONS. Jesus Christ is a man who never ceases to be
God, all that He saves He
owns, takes possession of, and indwells them spiritually with God the Father
and the Holy Spirit.
Again, as mentioned earlier, dearly beloveds,
we are finite, Jesus is infinite, His powerful sinless blood goes through the
timeline given to each saved person forgiving and blotting out all their sins,
past present and future, God the Father agreeing and remembering them against
us no more forever.
saved continue their allotted time frame in natural bodies but are made new
redeemed spiritual creations in Christ Jesus, with new minds, new hearts, and
the desire to do what is right in the Lord.
As permanently forgiven finite creations on
earth, (until the day of redemption), we live by faith. The evidence of our faith is
shown when we arrive at the times of temptation and trials within our allotted
God given time frame, we no longer desire to continue in sin but repent and
turn to God submitting to His will out of love and trust in Him. Repentance
then, holy people, is not merely being sorry for our sins but much more
understanding that as forgiven peoples we know and believe that His will is always
without exception the only path that we are commanded to lovingly follow. Our
loving obedience to God is evidence that we are His and proof positive that we are
bearing the good fruit of righteousness, therefore passing our tests.
Christians all over the world will face other
trials arising out of a hostile world and the devil: 1Pe 4:12 Beloved, think
it not strange concerning the fiery
trial which is to try you, as though some
strange thing happened unto you: 1Pe 1:7
That the trial of
your faith, being much more
precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be
tried with fire, might be
found unto praise and honour and glory at the
appearing of Jesus Christ:
Dearly beloveds our temptations and trials
are only tests of our faith, which serves God’s purposes and strengthens His
people. We can greatly rejoice in that we have a gracious Father who has given us the
test questions, supplied the answers and given us the power to pass our tests,
and overcome in our trials..

NO SALVATION WITHOUT FAITH IN THE REAL JESUS CHRIST
Brothers and sisters, thank God for His everlasting truth, love,
and unmerited mercy in sending forth His Son our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ
the Son of God. I love to see Jesus in my heart sitting on His throne of
eternal power, on the right of God His Father. I thank Jesus, God and the Holy
Spirit who in their omniscience, omnipresent omnipotence have made their home
in us: 1Co 6:19
ye not that your body is the temple of the
Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye
have of God, and ye are not your own?
So, holy brethren, we continue to look at the last questions: I know I am saved, I know Jesus has washed
me from all my sins and forgiven me forever, but I know I have sinned or done
wrong after I was saved what do I do about that and why do I still do it at
God does not get angry at us for having
questions such as these, but they arise out of ignorance of scripture and the
comprehensive understanding of the power and complete atoning work of our Lord
and Saviour, Jesus Christ the Son of God. God never sees any believer in Christ
as a sinner anymore after salvation. We know that it is absolutely impossible
for God to lie, those who trust in Him also believe in Him.
Unfortunately, some are taught come to Jesus as
you are, stay as you are and if you have problems with certain/sins Jesus understands
because we are all sinners, or join a group of others struggling with similar
or the same sin problems, and or accept that there are going to be “slips” from
time to time as this is unavoidable and to be expected.
The Bible dearly beloved does not teach this
false doctrine, although the Bible does give many examples of Christians who
have sinned after being saved. God never backs down from His eternal
condemnation of all sin, and the willful practice of sin:
committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the
beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was
manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Dearly beloveds, here in the above verse we
can fully grasp the comprehensive understanding of sin as much more than a
narrow understanding of sin as mere individual acts of wrongdoing. Sin arises out of the unregenerate dead sin nature and is the source of every sin. Every believer in Christ has been given a new nature by Him that loves righteousness, with the power to choose to do what is right and to turn away from evil, we do not have to sin, nor bow to the power of sin anymore.
The devil sins because despite knowing the
truth of salvation and God, he eternally unrepentantly, willfully,
deliberately, and whole heartedly rejects God because he loves to sin, hates God
and God’s people. The devil is not a passive sinner, but a great enemy of God
determined to overthrow God and take possession of His power and kingdom. The devil
is the eternal unrepentant degenerate evil one incapable of feeling guilt, has no
conscience troubled by any sin whatsoever, who hates everything good, whose
kingdom is of absolute darkness. Therefore, those who operate in the same way
who despite knowing the truth willfully reject God, hate God, hate His light, and
hate His people. Instead, they love sin have no guilt and their conscience is
never troubled by the evil that they do for they love darkness. They are doomed
children of the devil.
The children of the devil might deny or claim
to not know who the devil is or even disavow belonging to his kingdom, but
their evil works and character show forth the unmistakable proof that they are
children of the devil, and they belong to him and his evil kingdom.
Brothers and sisters, we know explicitly from
our brother John the apostle that there is no blending of good and evil, or
darkness with light. By the power and will of God they are forever separate, God’s
kingdom will last forever but the kingdom of the devil and the devil is
defeated and doomed forever with his children: Mat 25:41 - Then shall
he say also unto them on the left
hand, Depart from me, ye
cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
And the devil that
deceived them was cast into the lake of
fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false
prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and
However, dearly beloveds, all who believe in Christ
are absolutely not of any darkness whatsoever nor can they be: 1Th 5:5 - Ye are all the
children of light, and the children of the
day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
When we are saved God knows that we mainly
know little more than that. However, we can trust God to teach us there is much
more. He will enable us, and grow us in renewing our hearts, minds, thoughts
emotions and behaviors to reflect His image, to live holy lives and to shine as
lights in this sinful and evil world. God will instruct us in righteousness and aid us to always turn to Him and away from the practice of sin.
Mat 11:29 - Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I
am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall
find rest unto your souls. Mat 11:30 - For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

NO SALVATION WITHOUT FAITH IN THE REAL JESUS CHRIST
Brothers and sisters, let us as brethren, and
priests under our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, our eternal High Priest give
Him all the glory, honor and praises, lavishing Him with our adoration,
admiration and abundant love offerings as sweet perfume to Him who saved us,
washed us, and keeps us by His Almighty power.
Dearly beloveds, our brother and apostle John
again and again keeps making it explicitly clear that he is sharing His message
of Christ with us all as a faithful true eyewitness, so that we can share and
have joy and fellowship with God and one another through the final finished and
complete forgiveness wrought by the Son of God on the cross and in His eternal
John, holy people, repeatedly uses no fancy
speech, metaphors nor delicate language but continually fires nukes of God’s
inerrant truth, deadly spiritual weapons, unerringly focused rounds of total
destruction in plain easy to understand speech against any lies trying to say
that he meant 1 John 1: 9 to read as Christ sacrifice was insufficient to atone
for ALL sins past, present, and future leaving all Christians after salvation to
endlessly confess sins to get forgiven of them or to restore a lost fellowship with God, none such will ever rest in any joy
in God. John fires:
1John 5: 18 WE KNOW that
whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth
himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. 19And WE KNOW that
we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. 20And WE KNOW that the Son of
God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is
true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus
Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
We know, we know we know, here our brother
John commands a Rock steady, steadfast, relentless consensus of all believers
that casts out all doubts and lies, and instead rests in and upon the inerrant
truth of God in the testimony of His Son Jesus Christ- “It is finished”.
In light of the teachings of the
word of God, saints (G40 hagios), we can answer the question unequivocally of
How should the Christian live?
We have other eyewitnesses one of which is

made known unto you the power and coming of
our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of
Holy people, like our brother John, our
brother and apostle Peter also does not mince words, vacillate, suggest options,
offer excuses or alternatives but speaks explicitly, exhaustively, and
absolutely as to how every Christian is commanded by God to live: 1 Peter 1:13Wherefore gird up the loins
of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought
unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14As
obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15But as he which hath called
you is holy, so be ye holy in ALL manner
of conversation; 16Because it is written, Be ye
holy; for I am holy.
Feel free to study further on your own for it
is too much to post here of the power and authority given to every believer
whose hope is in Christ knowing, that your indwelling seed, which you have of God
in Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit has left you complete lacking nothing,
but with everything you need to live holy even as you are holy.
Again, dearly beloveds it is within the
context of scripture that we can look with complete confidence and joy in the
Lord, at the last questions within the inerrant truth of scripture again, holy
brethren, we do it with absolute confidence and joy rather than terror and
