STUDIES IN HEBREWS
CHAPTER 9: VS 6-10
Brothers and sisters, let us bless our God and put our trust
in Him always. Let us submit ourselves to His word correctly interpreted, and
rest in full confidence of His love, truth, and mercy always. Let us share the
gospel as it has and is shared with us, remembering that not all Christians
know or understand fully that believers are all under the New Covenant of Lord Jesus
Christ.
Until Lord Jesus returns there are and will be some who have
never read the New Covenant, or even been taught it in any comprehensive sense in
which it must be applied, practiced and lived in our everyday lives. We know that there are some who in ignorance have not submitted to its authority. God
wants us to learn these things over time and that his commands are not optional.
A Christian lady taught Christ’s death as “substitutionary” and
that Jesus took our place on the cross. She had many none- scriptural personal
opinions that she felt made this true. She did not believe that Christ
purchased our salvation outright.
Along with specific scriptures, I mentioned to her that there
is not one passage in the Bible where somebody purchased a thing and it was
called an exchange or substitution, but in all cases bought outright, free and
clear. World -wide it is commonly
understood that when you buy something it is not an exchange, and usually
verified in receipt showing the amount that was paid for it. She was
unconvinced, but what matters is that she heard the truth because it is now
between her and God not me.
A young man had packed his bags, planning to leave his family
and job to go and “do a work for God”. Fortunately, an older man showed him
scriptures that God doesn’t require anyone to leave their jobs to serve Him, even
the married apostles took their dependents with them: 1 C0 9:5, and nothing in
scriptures justified leaving his wife and small kids with no support: 1Ti 5:8 But if
any provide not for his own, and specially for
those of his own house, he hath denied the
faith, and is worse than an infidel.
Thankfully, the young man was convicted of the truth of the
scriptures and submitted himself to God, and did not desert his family. Its not
unusual for some Christians who have been saved but are ignorant because they have
not been taught scripture to cobble together what they think is the gospel
gleaned from their own mistaken ideas, sporadic exposure to a sermon here and
there, the movies, or self- help so- called “spiritual” books and other teachings outside of scripture.
A wife was angry with her husband for involvement with porn,
but he felt it was O.K, because he wasn’t with an actual person. He went into
the scriptures and found:
Mat 5:27 Ye
have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou
shalt not commit adultery:Mat 5:28 But I say unto
you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust
after her hath committed adultery with
her already in his heart.
He was convicted in his heart by God’s word and removed all
of the sexual material from the home stopped looking at it and began to work on
building his marriage with his wife.
God’s Word is powerful, we can trust in it to guide,
guard, and keep us on the path of righteousness as we believe, study and apply
it to our lives.
Brothers and sisters, we know that in the secular world the English
language has been high jacked to deny/eliminate the absolute truth of world-wide
evidenced based biology and been so perverted that it has spawned many other
perversions, among them are some people who feel comfortable in being identified
as non- human or belonging to the animal species.
Therefore, we should not be surprised that this high jacking
of the English language has entered the church to deny/eliminate any concept of
God’s absolute truth, where equal no longer means the same as, but less than; where
you have to give something to get the free gift of salvation; where forever, everlasting,
and eternal, does not exist-a direct extremely evil attack on the very
existence of God Almighty Himself who is
eternally self -existent and the Maker of all life.
Take away absolute truth and there is no fixed standard, nothing
is sacred, nothing has any meaning, people can live according to their own
personal moral code or none at all no matter how perverse, harmful and
blasphemous or absolutely forbidden by God.
However, holy brethren, let us, without apology choose to
believe the absolute truth of God as written in His word, for it is impossible for God to lie or make mistakes. When God declares absolute
truth, He means it is forever, everlasting in an absolute eternal- sense, backed
up and proven by scriptures from Genesis to Revelation.
Therefore, when someone
falsely declares that the churches in Revelation chapters 2-3,21 are fallen away it is a lie. Although Jesus disciplines these churches out of love, He lays out specific rewards that these believers can expect when
they overcome, for they surely will overcome, for scriptures had declared they
would absolutely overcome beforehand:
1Jo 5:4 For whatsoever is
born of God overcometh the
world: and this is the victory that overcometh the
world, even our faith.
1Jo 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the
world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the
Son of God?
1Jo 4:4 Ye are of God, little
children, and have overcome them: because greater is
he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Let God be true and every man a liar: Mt 28:20Teaching them to observe
all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto
the end of the world. Amen.
God is always with us regardless of our situation,
circumstances or conditions: Jhn 14:18
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you
Dearly beloveds, let us go on into the study with sincere
hearts, not with the wisdom of this world that comes to nothing but with the
eternal wisdom that only comes from God.
Heb 9:6 Now when
these things were thus ordained, the
priests went always into the
first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
Although this first and second earthly tabernacle was a copy of
the true tabernacle in heaven, we are reminded again and again, brothers and
sisters, that its order was just as absolutely firmly set and ordained by God with
its laws of service set in place before any priests could enter and do service
unto the Lord. Any violations in service could result in the death of the
priests who refused or who did not carry them out exactly as God commanded.
This first tabernacle was a the place where the priests did
the day- to- day grueling service in behalf of themselves and the people in
carrying out the rites of sin offerings, atonements for sins, various sacrifices and other rituals
some of them 24/7.
As soon as a person realized they had sinned they had to obtain whatever
sacrifice God required and get to the priest so that an atonement could be
made in their behalf, regardless of the time of the day or night. The people
did not have direct access to God for the forgiveness of sins they had to go
through the priests whether on the day of atonement or the rest of the year thereafter until the next
day of atonement.
The priests did not have the option of telling the penitents
to come back at a more convenient time, they had to give service any time the
penitents showed up. Somebody was always sinning and there were many laws of
dealing with the sins of the priesthood, of the common people, and of the
leaders, as well as the congregation as a whole. So we can see that the priests didn’t have much of a personal life due
to the grinding workload along with all the other rites they had to perform.
Lev 4:13 And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through
ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have
done somewhat against any of the commandments of the
LORD concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty; 14When the sin, which
they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the
sin,
It was likely horrific for the congregation to know that even
if the congregation sinned ignorantly God still found them guilty.
Heb 9:7 But into the
second went the high priest alone once every
year, not without blood, which he
offered for himself, and for the
errors of the people:
Yep, the High Priest had to offer for his own sins and that
of the priesthood before he could offer for the sins of the people. During the
rest of the year it was no different: Lev 4: 3 If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the
people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock
without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.
God commanded absolutely that the High Priest could enter
into the holy place only with real literal blood of certain animals without blemish. it was a death sentence for
the High Priest to enter this second tabernacle without blood. The necessity of
blood was absolutely not a figure of speech. This same pattern is set by God in
the true tabernacle in heaven also: Lev 17: 11For the life of the flesh is in the blood:
and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls:
for it is the blood that maketh an atonement
for the soul.
It might be tempting to think of how nice it must have been
for the High Priest to be in the very presence of God all the time. But that is
not how God saw it because He told Moses to tell His brother Aaron the High
Priest: Lev 16: 2And the LORD said
unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into
the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat,
which is upon the ark; that he die not:
EX 28:35 God commanded the High Priest never to rest in the holy place, to prevent being killed by God.
Some Christians idealize this earthly tabernacle; however, it
was a place of the terror of a Most Holy God and a glorious ministry of death. Some
Christians are even enamored of and in error wish the return to animal
sacrifice thinking it is effective in getting God to answer their prayers.
Dearly beloveds, God explicitly sums up in the following
verses what the whole business with His earthly tabernacle means to Him with its splendor, its
terror, its power, its sacrifices, its sin atonements, with all of its laws and
rituals regulating every aspect of the life of Israel means:
Heb 9:8 The
Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the
holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the
first tabernacle was yet standing:
Heb 9:9 Which was a
figure for the time then present, in which were
offered both gifts and sacrifices, that
could not make him that did the service perfect, as
pertaining to the conscience;
Heb9:10 Whichstood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on
them until the
time of reformation.
Please, please, please, dearly beloveds, let us keep in
remembrance that God is completely done with the Law and its earthly tabernacle
for righteousness. All the sacrifices, sin atonements, offerings and rituals of
the Mosaic tabernacle is of no value any longer to God. It was just a stop gap
until the coming of the Messiah and the revealing of the true tabernacle in
heaven, guaranteeing eternal atonement for all who
believe in Him.
The reformation could not be brought in by the Jew hating, murderous heretic Martin Luther as some blasphemously teach, but the coming of the true and
only reformer Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, Messiah, Saviour, Mediator, High Priest and Lord would restore all things once and for all time.
Reformation: meaning to straighten thoroughly;
rectification, i.e. (specially) the Messianic restoration:—reformation.

STUDIES IN HEBREWS
CHAPTER 9
Brothers and sisters, let us give lavish love offerings of
thanks, praises, blessings, and honor to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, God,
the Son of God, Saviour, High Priest/Mediator, Messiah, King of kings, Lord of
lords, the Lion of Judah, who has so graciously given us/all who believe a
measure of faith in believing to receive the free gift of salvation. Eternal glory and
majesty to you Lord Jesus, who has made us eternal heirs of the kingdom, and brought
us into the adoption as the children of God our Father.
Again, people are free to go to some school to learn the
Bible, although some go because mere men might require it. However, again, holy
brethren, we know that God does not command nor require any Christian to go to
school to learn the Bible, as it is biblically set up to be taught by
overseers, teachers, self-study and the body general as it has been done from
the beginning through the first apostles following Lord Jesus who set the
standard and shared it with the church.
Those who come to the body, who falsely claim preeminence or
superiority over the body as expert teachers only on the basis of their
academic accomplishments are operating outside of the standard of scripture.
They are not interested in helping their students to grow and go on to teach
others, but to remain dependent on them as the only source of knowledge about
God.
Interestingly, speaking the truth in love, although good people can earn degrees in theology, atheist, convicted felons, and even criminals on death row can earn a degree in theology, among other degrees. People living lifestyles forbidden by God also can and do obtain degrees in theology and establish churches condoning their lifestyles, perverting the scriptures to falsely approve it. School goals are concerned with excellence in academics leaving little room to evaluate character.
We know, brethren, that God exempts no one, from the
examination of their teachings to verify that they are teaching the truth,
whether they have been to a Bible school or not. God’s way is the ONLY right
way and the ONLY right way is God’s way. Anyone among us foolishly approaching
God with their own self- appointed wisdom, knowledge, and self- accolades is like
a preschooler with the barest of knowledge in comparison to that of the God of
ALL wisdom.
Dearly beloveds, we know that Paul the apostle and great
teacher did not get offended when the Bereans checked out his teachings to
verify it for themselves as true or not. Paul was very pleased that they did
not rely on his word alone.
This is not about disrespect or stepping on toes,
it’s about putting God first, obeying God in honor, respect and obedience to
Him not mere men who can intentionally or not make mistakes or stray from the
absolute truth as set forth eternally in the gospel of Lord Jesus Christ, our
everlasting standard and supreme example in how to serve God faithfully and live
holy lives. GOD COMMANDS
ALL TO ALWAYS PUT GOD
FIRST BEFORE MERE MEN, HOLY BRETHREN.
Act 17:11These were more
noble than those in Thessalonica, in that
they received the word with all readiness of mind, and
searched the
scriptures daily, whether those things were so. 12 Therefore many of them believed; also of
honourable women which were Greeks, and of
men, not a few.
Its good to be taught scripture, and good to check it out for
oneself too in order to verify it is true and as a result find oneself fully convicted,
convinced and fully persuaded of its eternal truth, amen!
Therefore, we know that anyone, regardless of their level of
education, back ground, length of time in ministry, good works, sweet nature, descendant
from a long line of missionary, pastors etc. none are exempted by God from
having their teachings checked out against scripture to verify its truthfulness
within the standard of the scriptures never outside of it either in totality or
in part: Gal 5:9 A
little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his
own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having
obtained eternal redemption for
us.
1Pe 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with
corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by
tradition from your fathers;
1Pe 1:19
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a
lamb without blemish and without spot:
Earlier we see that God declared that Jesus never corrupted
in death, and in the above we see neither did His blood corrupt.
In light of the
everlasting absolute truth of scripture, (saints G 40 hagios), God commands that
we must reject any brother, sister, so called experts, scholars, or anyone else
who impenitently and falsely teach that the blood of Jesus Christ decayed away
when He died on the cross to pay for all of our sins, or who see His atonement
as conditional, metaphorical, or figures of speech and not the eternal
spiritual reality that it is in absolute truth. We know the righteous will
repent but the wicked never will.
DID JESUS
TEACH CHRISTIANS CAN FALL AWAY OR LOSE THEIR SALVATION?
Jhn 15:6 If a
man abide not in me, he is
cast forth as a branch, and is
withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the
fire, and they are burned.
Is the
above verse evidence that Jesus taught that Christians can fall away or that
the men or people Jesus is speaking of are Christians? If it is God has some
explaining to do in that Jesus also taught: Mat 7:18
A good tree cannot bring
forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring
forth good fruit.
Luk6:43For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring
forth good fruit.
John
obviously knew and believed that Jesus taught the absolute truth of eternal
security for the authentic believer for He declared: 1Jo 3:9
Whosoever is
born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he
is born of God.
We come back to Lord Jesus again who taught Christians
whether Jew or gentile: Mat 28:20
Teaching them to observe all
things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the
end of the world. Amen.
Jude witnessed that he believed Jesus for he also taught: Jde 1:24
Now unto
him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before
the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
Some might ask what about the fact that Paul taught: Heb 10:28
He that
despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose
ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under
foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of
the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy
thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Doesn’t that mean that Christians can fall away and be lost?
No because Paul made it absolutely plain regarding the Hebrew Christians: Heb 10:39 But we are not of
them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
It is clear that Paul is addressing impenitent unbelievers who
never believed in the first place in these verses, who choose willfully,
deliberately, to reject the eternal truth of scripture although they know it: Heb 10:26.
We know, brethren, that the Bible never contradicts itself,
as through Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit of truth teaches every believer that scriptures without error absolutely proves scriptures, authenticates scriptures, interprets scriptures
comprehensively and within context of scriptures never outside of it.
IS THE
ATONEMENT OF JESUS CHRIST PERMANENT OR CONDITIONAL?
This is the real question false teachers really mean when
they slyly ask if salvation is permanent or conditional, although the Bible clearly
and absolutely teaches salvation is a free gift, and that the atonement of Christ
is eternal which frees the Christian from the sin nature the source of sins and
forgives all sins for eternity for all who believe. Feel free to study further
on your own that all believers are spiritually permanently one in Christ in God and gain the understanding that Christians do not have to choose to sin. See repentance
after salvation.
We are led to look more at the ark of the covenant. Firstly, that
only the tribe of Levi had charge of it: Deu 10:8. No
man was to touch it with their hands, or open it and look inside upon pain of
death, so it was always carried by rods hooked to attachments at all times: 1Sa 6:19
And he smote the men of Bethshemesh, because
they had looked into the ark of the LORD…
2Sa
6:6-7.
THE DEDICATION OF THE TEMPLE
In preparation for the dedication of the temple the Levites
open the ark of the covenant, but surprise do not die! They looked into it and
informed Solomon of its contents:
2Ch 5:10 There
was nothing in the ark save the two tables which
Moses put therein at Horeb, when the
LORD made a covenant with the children of
Israel, when they came out of Egypt.
The missing items were: the golden pot that
had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, for God had taken
them away from Israel. Is there any need to say why? The Levites knew why. Nothing
is mentioned of the golden censer, but there is reason to believe that God took
that too as we later find One bearing it in the book of Revelation: Rev 8:3. The silence of the Levites, and Solomon too is deafening, stunning. The ark
of the covenant was the very presence and Mega power of God Himself among the people, which took them
into victorious battles, Num 10:35 and
wreaked fear in the hearts of the nations. Yet neither the Levites nor Solomon
make any cries of lamentations, do not put on sack cloths or sit in ashes. We
do not know if the Levites and/or Solomon informed the nation before dedicating
the temple about the missing items from the ark, although it is recorded in
their records. Nope, it’s like nothing of importance happened and they go on
with business -as- usual planning and finally dedicating the temple. More than a
few Christians are highly impressed when they read about this glorious temple,
and like to unwisely quote Solomon for Christians to follow, not understanding
this was written to Israel under the Mosaic Law, not for Christians under grace:
2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my
name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my
face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I
hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will
heal their land. 2Ch 7:15 Now
mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto prayer that is
made in this place.
The dedication of the beautiful temple was
beyond spectacular in offering up sacrifices, music, songs, prayers and worship.
God showed up and showed off in a stunning farewell tour of glory, although He
knew Israel would afterwards desert Him and go after other gods: Deu31:16. Indeed, in 2 Ki 11: God details Solomon's great apostasy in His old age where he turned to idols, and inflamed himself with a great many, strange pagan wives who were idol worshippers: 1Ki 11:6
And Solomon did evil in the sight of the
LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his
father.
In summation of the spectacular and beautiful temple, God sums
it up in Isaiah: Isa
66:1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my
throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the
house that ye build unto me? and where is the
place of my rest? 2 For all those things hath mine
hand made, and all those things have been,
saith the LORD:
We see that God was not impressed with their temple and
outward show of worship, knowing it was all just lip service, and not from hearts that
would be faithful to Him.
Later Stephen would agree: Act 7:48 Howbeit the
most High dwelleth not in temples made with
hands; as saith the prophet,
Paul the apostle, would declare the same: Act 17:24
God that made the world and all
things therein, seeing that he is Lord of
heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made
with hands;
As far as the ark of the covenant goes: Jer 3:16 And
it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in
those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no
more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither
shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither
shall they visit it; neither shall that be
done any more. The Levites and Solomon might have been silent about the meaning
of the message of the missing objects of the ark of the covenant. However, God speaks
explicitly about what it meant: Jer 11:10
They are turned back to the
iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my
words; and they went after other gods to
serve them: the house of Israel and the house of
Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their
fathers. Feel free
to see 2 Chr 7 on your own, brethren, detailing the conditions that had to be met
by Israel to keep the Mosaic Covenant, which Israel rejected. Heb 8:9
Holy people we will go into more verses next time. Until
then, let us keep in remembrance the place where God chooses to dwell in forever
is in the hearts, minds, and spirits, of His faithful and beloved people.

STUDIES IN HEBREWS
CHAPTER 9 VS 3-5
Brothers and sisters, let us humble ourselves continually
under the hand of Almighty God our Father, who is our strength and has given us
hope in God His Son Jesus Christ, who has forever delivered us from the kingdom
of darkness to dwell in His kingdom of light, love and truth: 1Th 5:5 Ye are all the
children of light, and the children of the day: we
are not of
the night, nor of darkness.
1Jo 2:8 Again, a
new commandment I write unto you, which
thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the
true light now shineth.
Dearly beloveds, let us love one another fervently with the pure
spiritual love indwelling our hearts given us through the love of Christ Himself.
Let us be patient with one another and help one another to walk in grace. Let us
continually share the gospel with one another and in the world.
Holy brethren, we know that no believer understands the Bible
or how God expects them to live automatically. We are all to be taught the scriptures through
overseers, teachers, brothers and sisters, and our own personal Bible study as
well. So, we can see it is the work of the whole church wherein we learn God’s
word and live it and practice it daily.
The Bible is far more than a text- book. In a sense the Hebrew
Christians had studied the word of God as something to be learned and then put
aside to go on to their ministry to the saints without it. Paul comes to them
to discover that they had totally forgotten it and sets about to reteach and re-equip
them in the word. Let us be careful also, dearly beloveds to understand the Bible
is our spiritual food that God gave to feed His spiritual people. We need to feast
on the Word of God. Our salvation and inheritance is eternal and fixed, however
we are responsible and accountable to God and one another to encourage and help
one another to grow in understanding and living the gospel.
Every Christian can be helped to learn the gospel. No one has to be a great orator to learn it or teach it. People can
choose to spend thousands of dollars to learn the Bible; but God does not
require it. Even saints (G40hagios) who haven’t learned to read and write can
still be taught the gospel as well as to share and live the same. Children can be
taught the Bible based on their particular level of development, and such
teaching should not be withheld from them.
We should not be shocked or angry at any brother or sister
who is ignorant about some or all aspects of scripture, because it happens. That
is why we share the gospel relentlessly to help every believer to become rooted
in understanding and living the whole gospel message over time. Ignorance is dangerous although the ignorant don't mean to cause harm, they can and do. For that reason interactive bible study must not be left out because it can be the instrument where ignorance can be identified and corrected.
The Bible is powerful and healing in the hands of those who
rightly divide the word of truth. In the hands of deceivers, or even the
ignorant it can be highly destructive, dangerous and even deadly to those who
are deceived by it: 2Ti 2:15 Study to
shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth
not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
There are many helpful books written by Christians, however, the
Bible is God’s eternal standard and absolute tool of choice as the means by which
we are all to be taught scripture: 2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given
by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly
furnished unto all good works.
All written works outside of scripture must be tested by
scripture to certify it speaks the eternal truth of the gospel or not.
We have to be mindful, holy people, of those who choose to high jack the
English language to attempt in vain to abolish the eternal truth that God speaks
in absolute truth, in order to deceive and justify living in ways clearly forbidden
in scripture. They attempt in vain to pervert scripture to falsely mean that most
of the Bible is not literal, and many of its doctrines are mere figures of
speech. The Bible speaks in absolute truth also and in every case, God makes it clear
by and with many examples within the context of scripture.
Yes, it is true, holy brethren, that the scriptures do employ
figures of speech. However, when the Bible uses figures of speech it
clearly and absolutely always points to certain underlying absolute truths
according to God’s standards, never outside of it.
It is common in English to use figures of speech. If I heard
someone say that their feet were killing them, I might encourage them to consult
a foot doctor, but I would not dial an emergency number to call for help because
I mistakenly thought their feet were
actually killing them. I would understand the underlying truth that what the person
is trying to convey is that his or her feet are hurting really badly.
In this study of Hebrews, God the Father spectacularly,
boldly, extols and glories His Son Jesus Christ. The Holy Ghost here is also in
overdrive, shooting spiritual fireworks, lights flashing, explosively,
meticulously, repetitively to the nth degree absolutely declaring the
everlasting truth that only through God’s Son Jesus Christ can men be saved for
all eternity.
God certainly sets the apostle Paul as a great example of a
teacher as well as others-the end goal of a good teacher is to make good students into
good teachers too, who will move forward to teach others in the same spirit.
The whole atoning work of Jesus Christ is absolute truth. God commands
that it be received exactly in that way.
Some claim in error that being saved by the blood of Jesus is just a
figure of speech, it only means His death, because Jesus died as a mere man and
His blood rotted away so it could never be preserved in heaven to eternally
wash away all sins.
The Bible absolutely states of Lord Jesus in His death: Act 13:37
But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.
This is declared from the Old to the New Testament, and obviously the blood of Jesus
is incorruptible as well, and forever retains its saving power.
There is not one verse in scripture that declares that Jesus Christ
died as a mere man. Jesus was and is the God Man from beginning to end. There is
not a mere man on earth who can or would ever make this statement and be able to
perform it as Lord Jesus does: Jhn
10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to
lay it down, and I have power to
take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
Only a man who is also God could declare such, and that One and only God man
is Jesus Christ God the biological Son of God the Father.
Jhn 5:26 For as the
Father hath life in himself; so hath he
given to the Son to have life in himself;
Jhn 10:28 And
I give unto them eternal life; and they
shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out
of my hand.
God the Father tested, tried, and proved God His Son Jesus Christ
from beginning to end. Jesus proved He is the Son of God in His obedience, Jesus proved
He is God the Son in showing He has the power of life and death in laying down His life
and taking it back again to die no more, but live forever, even as God the Father:
Just as God tested, tried, and proved His Son Jesus Christ,
so all believers will be tested, tried and proved, but never beyond their
capacity to endure it. Much of our testing relates to faith and trust in God-
that we believe in Him through His Word, with the evidence of steadfast
obedience. God strengthens every believer in their trials and is with them always
and in everything.
As we head back into the study with good faith, the
ability to do Good spiritual math, and receiving the absolute truth of the Word, holy people, again, we have to understand that God speaks
in eternal absolutes not metaphors regarding the whole atoning work of His Son Jesus
Christ.
The spiritual tabernacle in heaven is not a figure of speech but exists now and forever while the mosaic tabernacle on earth is no longer relevant except for our learning and understanding of why God has no further use for it.
Heb 9:3 And after the
second veil, the tabernacle which is called the
Holiest of all; Only the high priest could enter the holiest of all. It was a death sentence for anyone else to enter it.
Heb 9:4 Which
had the golden censer, and the ark of the
covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the
golden pot that
had manna, and Aaron's rod that
budded, and the tables of the covenant;
Heb 9:5 And over it the
cherubims of glory shadowing the
mercyseat; of which we
cannot now speak particularly.
The objects found within the second veil was not just stuff, dearly beloveds, but
had meaning and purpose pertaining to Israel and to the coming Messianic
ministry of Lord Jesus Christ.
The golden censer an object that would contain goals that incense
was placed upon. Aaron used a regular censer filled with incense to avoid being
put to death in the holiest of all by God: Lev 16:13. However, the coming
Messiah would enter the holiest of all in heaven with the sweet intense perfume
of His eternal undying holiness in the presence of God the Father.
The ark of the covenant: Here a vessel, but later the very
person of the coming Messiah on earth and in heaven, who would save all who
believe in Him and be the anchor for their souls: Rev 11:19.
The golden pot that had manna: why God put it in the ark: Deu
8:3. To remind Israel that man shall not live by bread alone…
Aaron's rod that had budded: God gave it to Aaron as proof
that He was the chosen high priest, but One greater was to come, the Branch: Zec 6:12
Tables of the covenant: why God put it in the pot: As a
witness that Israel had broken it: Deu 31:26-29.
Brothers and sisters, we will look further into the ark of
the covenant next time.

STUDIES IN HEBREWS
CHAPTER 9 VS 1-2
Brothers and sisters, let us pour out lavish offerings of
love and blessings upon our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, God our Father and
God our Holy Spirit, with abundant worship, sacrifices of praises and giving thanks
to their Holy Name always.
The fire of Jesus Christ is burning, the Holy Spirit fanning
the flames in the hearts and minds of His people.
Jesus Christ is the Head of the church, He is the Word of God
and He still speaks to us from/through His word correctly interpreted today. There
will absolutely not be any reward for any of our good works not done out of
love and not resting on the foundation of the unchanging truth of the gospel.
Therefore, God will burn such of our works up as worthless, although we will
still be saved.
Only Jesus saves, we know, brethren, but if we share only a
watered down , sugar coated, touchy feely soft warm and fuzzy gospel it will
have no power, and none of us should expect a reward from God for that. Certainly,
the gospel offends some, and some will walk away because of it, we cant force
people to be saved, however, there is no excuse for us not to give it. There is
always someone who will receive it.
We saints (G40 hagios) are all in this together collectively
to share the gospel and help one another to learn it and live it as well. God
doesn’t have any step children or half siblings, so we should not limit
ourselves exclusively to the local church. I was taught in my Christian
education by many elders pastors, teachers, and the body general to take time
to visit my brothers and sisters everywhere when the local church wasn’t
meeting. I’ve attended Bible studies
about in every area of my city and dined well spiritually and was enriched greatly
from the love and fellowship with other brothers and sisters.
Dearly beloveds, praise God we know God will reward us for
our works out of love for Him rooted in
the gospel of Jesus Christ, especially sharing and living the gospel message.
We can take God at His word that He expects us to seek rewards from Him, for He
delights to give us rewards.
Heb 11:6 But without faith it
is impossible to please him: for he that
cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he
is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
I.FAITH: absolute conviction of the truth, belief; in the NT of
a conviction or belief respecting man's relationship to God and divine things,
generally with the included idea of trust and holy fervour born of faith and
joined with it
A. relating to God
i.the absolute conviction that God exists and is the creator
and ruler of all things, the provider and bestower of eternal salvation through
Christ
B. relating to Christ
i.a strong and welcome absolute conviction or belief that Jesus
is the Messiah, through whom we obtain eternal salvation in the kingdom of God
C. the religious
beliefs of Christians
D. belief with the
predominate idea of absolute trust (or confidence) whether in God or in Christ,
springing from faith in the same
II.fidelity, faithfulness
A. the character of
one who can be relied on
REWARDER: one who pays wages, a rewarder.
DILIGENTLY: to rigorously search, seek out i.
e. investigate, scrutinize.
Holy brethren, let us tirelessly rest in the on- going study
and living God’s word, not as a mere text- book, but understanding that the Word
of God is living and is our life that we should live in it, through it, for it,
and by it.
Eph 4:14 That we henceforth be no
more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about
with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of
men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in
wait to deceive;
There are many strange doctrines of error flying about. We
find some teaching falsely that Jesus is just a man now confined to heaven and
cannot hear our prayers up there, so the Holy Ghost is the only one on earth
now saving people and bringing salvation to believers. Therefore, God left it
up to men to run the church on earth. The verse Jhn 16:7 is
supposed to prove this.
Jhn 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the
truth; It is expedient for
you that I go away: for if I go not away, the
Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will
send him unto you.
Jesus Christ, we know brethren, is fully God and fully man in
a glorified human body in heaven, although at the appointed time He will return
bodily. However, the eternal truth is that Jesus Christ God the Son is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent, the Head of the church and
inseparable from
the Father and the Holy Spirit.
He is bodily present in heaven and also spiritually present
on earth saving all who believe in Him, and baptizes them into His death, and
raising them to life as new spiritual creatures, baptizing and sealing them with the Holy
Spirit, then indwelling them with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit: Col 1:27.
Therefore, dearly beloveds, we have full assurance that Jesus
can hear our prayers the same as God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus is
the Head of and in control of the church, not men, who are appointed to obey
Him and watch over the church as His servants not lords, doing His will.
GOOD FAITH
Good faith, holy brethren, is spoken of so often throughout
the scriptures and is of essential importance to grasp, embrace and understand
it within the totality of God’s meaning. It is absolutely clear that God intends
for every believer who understands the New Covenant, the book of Hebrews and all
scriptures concerning God’s plan through Jesus Christ, salvation, and truth that
we should come forth in good faith believing in God. God expects that every believer will be fully convicted, convinced and fully persuaded in believing His eternal truth and love.
God has set the supreme example of good faith for us in
Himself who first trusted in His Son Jesus Christ, in Christ Himself, and in
Abraham, and a long line of other faithful believers throughout biblical
history. By this we know what good faith is in their examples to us. we also
know that God expects for believers to have this same kind of absolute,
steadfast, unwavering faith in Him. God defines and sets the standard for the
faith He accepts which is only good faith.
The Bible speaks of the faith of Abraham regarding the
New Covenant: Rom 4:20
He staggered not at the promise of
God through unbelief; but was strong in
faith, giving glory to God;
BAD FAITH
If anyone is of bad faith, it doesn’t matter how much and how
often they are shown the truth they still choose not to believe it.
In a spiritual sense Bad faith means unbelief: 1. unfaithfulness,
faithlessness (of persons betraying a trust), incredulousness, disbelief, refusal to trust: Romans 3:3.
2. want of faith, unbelief: shown in withholding belief in the divine
power, Mark 16:14, or in
the power and promises of God, Romans 4:20; Hebrews 3:19; in
the divine mission of Jesus, Matthew 13:58; Mark 6:6; by
opposition to the gospel, with the added notion of obstinacy, Romans 11:20, 23; Hebrews 3:12.
Evil heart of unbelief, evil conscience:
The Bible addresses bad faithers: Rev 21:8 But the
fearful, and unbelieving, and the
abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall
have their part in the lake which burneth with
fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Brothers and sisters, we have to tell people the whole gospel
message, God will not compromise with anyone there are no options, nor plan b’s,
nor alternatives to good faith, the only faith acceptable to God.
I pray that if any have bad faith that they will choose to
repent and come believing steadfastly and without wavering in the New Covenant
of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for your patience in this study, brothers and sisters,
and for your prayers on my behalf, they are much appreciated. I am humbly thankful
to God for receiving my prayers in your behalf early and often.
Heb 9:1 Then verily the
first covenant had also ordinances of divine
service, and a worldly sanctuary.
Heb 9:2 For there
was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the
candlestick, and the table, and the
shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.
In this highly repetitious and meticulous study on God the
Son of God Jesus Christ we find and must take heed, brethren, at the continual pattern
of comparisons and contrasts between the Messiah and all others, He defeated all
of God’s adversaries, is better than the angels, and Aaronic priesthood etc., showing
in every case Jesus is the Superior, whom God the Father has made equal to
Himself and God the Holy Spirit.
Beware those who high jack the English language to falsely
claim there are no absolutes or change the meanings of commonly understood
words to twist the truth to their lies. We know some individuals claim to
identify as multiple persons although they are only one, but no doubt any
employer advises them they will still receive only one pay- check.
God is showing us all that He deals in unchanging, eternal
absolutes, and that He does not have a democracy, does not compromise His Word with anyone nor any thing.
Heb 9:1 Then verily the
first covenant had also ordinances of divine
service, and a worldly sanctuary.
Heb 9:2 For there
was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the
candlestick, and the table, and the
shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.
We understand and God makes it clear to all, that God was always in control
of and set the standard for this temporary Mosaic Covenant on earth. Although it was only
a blue print or designed after the pattern of the true tabernacle in heaven to
be revealed later in the coming Messiah, it was no less stringent in its order
and function with none
of the priests allowed to deviate from it on pain of death: Num 3:4 And
Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they
offered strange fire before the LORD, in the
wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and
Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the
sight of Aaron their father.
This first part of the sanctuary, brethren, was in some ways a
24/7 ordeal for the priests, whose work was never done and who never had rest
due to the ongoing work required by God that had to be done on pain of death in
behalf of themselves and the nation of Israel. They did not get to decide to
take a day off or close the tabernacle down any time they felt like it. Feel free
to study further on your own about the grinding work-load that the priests had.
Frankly brethren, I found it exhausting even to read about it.
Although in later books we find for a time God “winked” as the
Aaronic ministry chose to go missing in action entirely, and the nation even
forgetting that there was a Mosaic book of the Law, as God knew they would:
Acts 14: 16 Who in times past
suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.
Holy people, the fact that the first part of the tabernacle
or sanctuary was separated from the second is profound and terrifying in that God
Almighty drew a line between the two in blood, which none but the high priest
could cross, more on this in later verses.

STUDIES IN HEBREWS
CHAPTER 9
Brothers and sisters, glory to God our Father and to God the
Son of God Jesus Christ our Saviour and to God our Holy Spirit who eternally
indwells all believers, and has made us and all believers, God’s holy family of
priests and ambassadors of Christ in this present evil world.
Dearly beloveds, I love you all, and give God thanks for you,
and thanks for your patience in continuing with me in this study. The word of God
is for every believer to be taught it, study it together with others, self study to live it out, share and apply it every day as well. The Word of God is the
foundation of the church and no other foundation can any man lay: 1Co 3:11.
Clearly, holy people, the church as a whole is commanded by
Lord Jesus to share the gospel message, not only in places far away which
is good, but also to those near as well. While our inheritance is
eternally given, one of the many rewards to the church is for our labors in the
gospel of Jesus Christ, based not on what office we hold or gifts that we have,
but on the quality of our work/love in sharing the gospel, correctly
interpreted. Feel free to study further on your own in Ephesians chapter 4 and
other places in scriptures of the many great benefits to the whole church in
gaining maturity in the gospel message of Jesus Christ.
1Pe 4:12 Beloved, think
it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though
some strange thing happened unto you:
STRANGE: to surprise or astonish by the strangeness and
novelty of a thing, to think strange, be shocked.
I. FIERY TRIAL: a burning
A. the burning by
which metals are roasted and reduced
B. by a figure drawn
from a refiners fire
i. calamities or trials that test the character
Brethren, we know we should not withhold nor sugar coat the
whole gospel of Jesus Christ, because it is displeasing to God, and leaves the Christian
unprepared under trial in an evil world that hates God and His people. It may
seem to some of us that we live in the furnace and can barely catch a break. However,
the scriptures clearly teaches that this is the norm for the Christian not the
exception. Even so God instructs us: 1Pe 4:13; 2Co 4:17-18.
THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST AND CHILDREN:
Luk 17:1 Then said
he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that
offences will come: but woe unto him,
through whom they come!
Luk 17:2 It
were better for him that a millstone were
hanged about his neck, and he cast into the
sea, than that he should offend one of
these little ones.
I.OFFENCES: a movable stick or trigger of a trap, a trap stick
A. a trap, snare
B. any impediment
placed in the way and causing one to stumble or fall, (a stumbling block,
occasion of stumbling) i.e. a rock which is a cause of stumbling.
II. any person or thing by which one is (entrapped) drawn into
error or sin.
Christ has set the standard let the church so stand without
apology nor fear.
THE LAW OF NATURE, BIOLOGY
God, from the beginning, has put in place the Laws of nature
in world wide evidence based biology to protect children, who are all
immature/undeveloped, therefore, unable to give consent to actions that only
adults are capable of understanding and giving consent to. No child is able to
give consent to any medical interventions, especially those that involve
surgical butchery removing healthy body parts as a form of so called treatment, nor to be administered toxic
massive doses of cross sex hormones used off label that can carry irreversible
consequences.
We have in every nation criminal laws, to protect children
from harm and or predation. America has such laws in place in every state and
also on the federal level for example: Obscenity - United States Department of Justice
www.justice.gov/criminal-ceos/obscenity
Any transfer or attempt to transfer such material to a minor
under the age of 16, including over the Internet, is punishable under
federal law. It is also illegal to use misleading website domain names
with intent to deceive a minor into viewing harmful or obscene material.
PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM SEXUAL PREDATORS - Congress
www.congress.gov/105/plaws/publ314/PLAW-105publ...
112 STAT. 2974 PUBLIC LAW 105–314—OCT. 30, 1998
Public Law 105–314 105th Congress An Act To amend title 18,
United States Code, to protect children from sexual abuse and
exploitation, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of
Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION
1.
In the past children were taught at home about good
touch, bad touch, and that any touching where the child did not feel
comfortable should be reported immediately to the parents, caretakers, and/or
school, this is still a good practice for today.
Sex education in the public schools is problematic in that it
is taught by people not educated in evidenced based biology and who inject
their own biases or seek to cause a
child to question their identity. Parent advocates among others believe that
the only age appropriate proper place for sex education, besides the home, is
within already established health clinics where medically trained clinicians
can instruct on the basis of evidenced based biology not new age quasi -science
based on strongly held emotions or feelings about these
matters.
Even if its in the school's so called sex education program IT IS A CRIME TO DEPICT CHILDREN UNDER A CERTAIN AGE ENGAGED IN SEX ACTS OR TO ENCOURAGE SUCH CHILDREN TO ENGAGE IN SEX ACTS WHICH IS GROOMING AND INDOCTRINATION FELONY SEXUALIZATION AND SHOULD BE PROMPTLY REPORTED TO LAW ENFORCEMENT.
Parents are urged to examine the materials given to any child
involved in the sex education programs, and report to authorities any that
cross the line or violate the laws governing what a child can be exposed to. Children
must also be instructed to tell them of any adults asking them to keep any
secrets from the parents or anyone else.
BAD MATH
Dearly beloveds, these are true incidents. A guy went into a
fast-food restaurant to get his favorite food. Unfortunately, when he got there
the workers told him that they were all out of that item for the day. The man
kept insisting on the item no matter how many times the workers explained that
they were all out of the item he wanted. The man flew into a rage and attacked
the workers and was arrested.
It was no small matter that the man couldn’t accept the truth
of what the word All meant and had to learn the hard way or at least one would
hope he did. In the same way God’s absolute truths do not change no matter how
strongly we may not accept it or be willing to understand it. God’s word is of
no private interpretation: 2Pe 1:20. Some Christians open their Bibles when they read: 1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins, he
is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. They misinterpret this passage to mean that it is necessary
for Christians to confess every sin so that they can stay saved and or right
with God by receiving His forgiveness again, and again per each sin. This was true of the Mosaic Law, but never the law of grace. I do not doubt there are very sincere Christians who believe
this and or have been taught this, but they are sincerely and absolutely wrong. We know, brethren, that the Bible never contradicts
itself, as through Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit of truth teaches every
believer that scriptures prove scriptures, authenticates scriptures, interprets
scriptures comprehensively and within context of scriptures never out side of
it. Therefore, we know, dearly beloveds that the above verse is
not all that John declared about sins in that in these following verses He clearly
states: 1Jo 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the
devil; for the devil sinneth from the
beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was
manifested, that he might destroy the works of the
devil. John frankly declares of the believers: 1Jo 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit
sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he
cannot sin, because he
is born of God. 1Jo 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he
that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that
wicked one toucheth him not. Question: Is John confused? Because if a Christian believes
that 1 John: 1:9 commands Christians to continually confess all sins after they
are saved to keep being forgiven and or saved, then He later states the Christian
doesn’t ever commit sins none of this makes any sense, it is utter confusion,
chaos, and appears as unsound of mind. We know that God is absolutely never the author of confusion or unsoundness:
1Co 14:33. Neither is John confused nor unsound. However, all who ignorantly misinterpret 1 John 1:9 are
confused and in error because to correctly interpret John 1:9 we have to
believe and accept what the word ALL means and is absolutely proven to be true according
to the word of God within the context of scriptures not outside of it. Gen 2:2 And on
the seventh day God ended his work which he had
made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his
work which he had made. Mat 13:41The
Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they
shall gather out of his kingdom all things that
offend, and them which do iniquity; 1Pe 1:15 But as he
which hath called you is
holy, so be ye holy in all manner
of conversation; HOLY: most holy thing, a saint. Sacred (physically, pure,
morally blameless consecrated):—(most) holy (one, thing), saint. CONVERSATION: steadfast, consistent 'walk,' lifestyle, i.
e. all manner of life, behavior, conduct, publicly and privately. We see the truth clearly proven from the Word of God, holy people, that
John is directing us to the New Covenant confession of faith and means exactly
the same as what the New Covenant declares: 1 John 1:9 1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins, he
is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1Jo 4:15; Rom 10:9. Jesus Christ Paid in
full for all of our sins: Act 20:28; Eph 1:14. Jesus is the Sole Mediator between God and man and the sole
Saviour: 1Ti
2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between
God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Eph 1:7 In whom we
have redemption through his blood, the
forgiveness of sins, according to
the riches of his grace. Heb 8:12 For I
will be merciful to
their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will
I remember NO MORE. Heb 10:17And their sins and iniquities will
I remember NO MORE. There is not one scripture in the New Covenant of Jesus Christ
that teaches that after salvation all believers must work to stay saved-keep
themselves from being lost or forgiven by perpetually confessing sins to God. When
Jesus saved us He left us in our human bodies, but He completely changed us
spiritually on the inside making us new creatures, alive in Him and indwelling
us with Himself, God the Father and sealing us with the Holy Spirit, who
enables every believer to desire God’s will by choosing to refuse to practice
sin as a way of life, which is usually ignored by those who ignorantly
misinterpret 1 John 1:9. There are those who teach that no one is perfect, and that God
doesn’t expect Christians to be perfect. God’s work through overseers,
teachers, and the body general is purposed for that very thing to help every
believer move forward toward spiritual adulthood. Jesus teaches: Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as
your Father which is in heaven is perfect. PERFECT: Mature, full- grown adult. 2Ti 3:17 That the
man of God may be perfect, thoroughly
furnished unto all good works. Unfortunately, some see the many warnings against apostasy in
scriptures as teachings that Christians will do them and fall away. No nation
assumes it’s people will automatically know or understand how they are to live
under its government but codifies on every level within its constitutions/laws
the accepted conduct/behavior/ expected of its citizens.
Not that it is
expected that the citizens will reject them, but that every citizen has the
opportunity to understand the benefits of being a good citizen and avoid
proscribed conduct that is forbidden. The penalties contained within these laws serve to protect the good, identifies the bad and restrains those who choose to willfully violate these laws. We should understand the New Covenant in the same way, no one
gets saved and automatically knows or understands how to live according to God’s
grace, which is why it is set forth explicitly for believers to be taught and
learn over time. We know who belongs to God’s kingdom or not by whether they
consistently obey Him or not. Feel free to study further on your own the biblical teachings
to every Christian regarding how God enables and instructs every believer regarding sins/discipline, and
how God determines who is His child and who is a bastard.
A lady went into a bakery and ordered six donuts. After she received
the items she told the worker she was shorted her items because she did not
receive 12 dozen donuts. The worker explained that 6 donuts equaled a half a
dozen donuts not 12 dozen. The lady kept insisting that 6 donuts equaled 12
dozen donuts. She left without incident after paying for the 6 donuts, clearly
convinced still that 6 donuts equals 12 dozen donuts.
Every Christian desiring and willing to learn can be assured by God that He will teach them faithfully and never leave them unable to understand and know Him but will always aid them to grow in grace.
We need the ability to understand and use the law of basic math
in the real world for a variety of great reasons to live and function in the
world. Not knowing basic math is not a good thing ever.
Brothers and sisters, next we will go into Hebrews chapter 9
study. Some might ask what does bad math have to do with this chapter or even
this study? Firstly, those who are bad at math because they are unwilling to learn
God’s basic law of spiritual math will receive no benefits from this study. However, praise God who will never leave true believers to be bad at spiritual math.
All throughout scripture and in this highly repetitious study
of Hebrews, God poses to His people and the whole world math problems wherein the
only absolute acceptable answer is ONE, if the problem is worked correctly
according to God’s Law of spiritual mathematics, i.e. One Saviour, One eternal High
Priest, One eternal New Covenant, One eternal salvation, One eternal atonement,
One eternal forgiveness for all sins, One eternal life. For the
righteous eternal life is with God in His kingdom, for the unbelieving one
eternal life in condemnation in the lake of burning fire.
God’s definition of
EQUAL= means they are exactly the same. Anyone, even though they may sincerely believe that equal
means less than, are still not only wrong but egregiously bad at math, and
spiritual math too. Many would urge the person to go back to a reputable school,
let us, holy people, urge them to return to the school of God’s word to learn spiritual math.
When the Bible states Lord Jesus Christ is equal with God that is absolutely
what it means, never less than God.
Like the faithful Son to His Father, when He has by His omnipotent
power totally put down ALL evil oppositional rule and authority, subdued every
nation, utterly destroyed the devil, his evil angels, and evil human followers,
along with death, hell itself into the lake of fire, and brought His entire
family of brothers and sisters safely before the very throne of God then like
the faithful Son that He is: 1Co 15:28
And when all things shall be subdued unto
him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto
him that put all things under him, that God may
be all in all.
Finally, at last! When our Father God embraces His Son Jesus Christ,
He will also sweep up with Him all of His holy family that Jesus has brought home to be with and in God the Father forever.
This is God our Father’s desire from the beginning who first
trusted in His Son Jesus Christ. As God loves and absolutely trusts in His Son Jesus
Christ so He commands His people. Jesus Christ will never fail in His mission from God
to bring His holy family to their forever home with God His Father.
Dearly beloveds, I am
thankful to have met a few of you. However, even if I never meet most of you here on
earth, one thing is absolutely certain, we all have an appointment in heaven
where we will all meet and humbly rejoice with our Saviour Jesus Christ before the very
throne of God our Father.
Those who are not willing or refuse to learn and accept God’s
spiritual eternal math I pray they will repent before death and the judgement
of wicked.
Holy people, find laid out chapter 9 of Hebrews to dig into
for yourselves in the presence of God to feast at the Lord’s table the Holy
Spirit in attendance to your needs, before we go into the study.
Heb 9:1 Then verily the
first covenant had also ordinances of divine
service, and a worldly sanctuary.
Heb 9:2 For there
was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the
candlestick, and the table, and the
shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.
Heb 9:3 And after the
second veil, the tabernacle which is called the
Holiest of all;
Heb 9:4 Which
had the golden censer, and the ark of the
covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the
golden pot that
had manna, and Aaron's rod that
budded, and the tables of the covenant;
Heb 9:5 And over it the
cherubims of glory shadowing the
mercyseat; of which we
cannot now speak particularly.
Heb 9:6 Now when
these things were thus ordained, the
priests went always into the
first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
Heb 9:7 But into the
second went the high priest alone once every
year, not without blood, which he
offered for himself, and for the errors of
the people:
Heb 9:8 The
Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the
holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the
first tabernacle was yet standing:
Heb 9:9 Which was a
figure for the time then present, in which were
offered both gifts and sacrifices, that
could not make him that did the service perfect, as
pertaining to the conscience;
Heb 9:10 Which
stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on
them until the time of reformation.
Heb 9:11 But Christ being
come an high priest of good things to come, by a
greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with
hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Heb 9:12 Neither by the
blood of goats and calves, but by his
own blood he entered in once into the holy
place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
Heb 9:13 For if the
blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an
heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the
purifying of the flesh:
Heb 9:14 How
much more shall the blood of
Christ, who through the
eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to
God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the
living God?
Heb 9:15 And for
this cause he is the mediator of the
new testament, that by means of death, for the
redemption of the transgressions that were under the
first testament, they which are called might receive the
promise of eternal inheritance.
Heb 9:16 For where a
testament is, there must also of necessity be the
death of the testator.
Heb 9:17 For a
testament is of force after men are
dead: otherwise it is of no strength at
all while the testator liveth.
Heb 9:18 Whereupon neither the
first testament was dedicated without blood.
Heb 9:19 For when Moses had
spoken every precept to all the
people according to the law, he took the blood of
calves and of
goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and
sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
Heb 9:20 Saying, This is the
blood of the testament which God hath
enjoined unto you.
Heb 9:21 Moreover he
sprinkled with blood both the
tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
Heb 9:22 And almost all
things are by the
law purged with blood; and without shedding of
blood is no remission.
Heb 9:23 It
was therefore necessary that the patterns of
things in the heavens should be purified with
these; but the heavenly things themselves with
better sacrifices than these.
Heb 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the
holy places made with hands, which are the
figures of the
true; but into heaven itself, now to
appear in the presence of God for us:
Heb 9:25 Nor yet
that he should offer himself often, as the high
priest entereth into the holy
place every year with blood of others;
Heb 9:26 For
then must he often have suffered since the
foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the
world hath he appeared to put away sin by the
sacrifice of himself.
Heb 9:27 And as it
is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the
judgment:
Heb 9:28 So Christ was
once offered to bear the
sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he
appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Love and
truth, serola
