Beloveds, we must clear up the lie that when the Lord told Joshua he would have good success through obeying the Law, that this was meant for Christians today. The Lord told this to Joshua that in obeying the Old Covenant of the Law God would give him success in conquering certain lands and taking these lands for the nation of Israel: Joshua 1: 5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.

Also in keeping the Old Covenant of the Law, (which is all they had from God), he would not face the wrath of God and die as Aaron and Moses did for their disobedience to God in not keeping the Old Covenant of the Law: Num. 27: 12 And the LORD said unto Moses, Get thee up into this mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given unto the children of Israel. 13 And when thou hast seen it, thou also shalt be gathered unto thy people, as Aaron thy brother was gathered. 14 For ye rebelled against my commandment in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes: that is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.

Moses never preached that the Old Covenant of the Law would make anyone permanently righteous in the sight of God. Here is the truth, preached by our Saviour Jesus Christ: Jhn 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.

Luk 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, THEN CHRIST IS DEAD IN VAIN.

See Galatians 3, which explains God’s purposes for the Law; and how Jesus Christ has delivered us from it for all time. Feel free to study on your own the numerous verses that fully declare that Jesus Christ is the eternal Saviour and final sole source of eternal salvation for all time for all who believe in Him. See John 14:6.

Anyone willfully claiming salvation based on keeping the Old Covenant of the Law and/ or combining it with the New Covenant of Jesus Christ, or anything else is not considered a Christian according to the Bible.

Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, THEN CHRIST IS DEAD IN VAIN.

Gal 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the CURSE: for it is written, CURSED is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 11 But that NO MAN is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

          1Ti. 1:5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

1Ti 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; 11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

    STUDIES IN HEBREWS

    CHAPTER 8: VS 4

Brothers and sisters, let us praise and thank God our Father and God the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and God our Holy Spirit for their eternal love, truth, grace, and faithfulness to all generations forever. I thank my God and yours for all of you, dearly beloveds, continually in prayers for you early and often, that we would all be utterly strengthened, settled/established, unmovable, and unshakable in the grace and gospel of Jesus Christ our only Saviour appointed and anointed by God the Father, witnessed by the Holy Ghost.

Again and again, All throughout the book of Hebrews and elsewhere God the Father focuses all relentlessly upon the superiority of God the Son of God above all as the ONLY Saviour of all who believe and obey Him. Many humbly and faithfully believe and accept the atoning work of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Let us be clear, brethren, no one is being condemned for ignorance, for we were all ignorant at one time, however no one has to stay ignorant. There are brothers and sisters among us who out of love and fear of offending God in ignorance stumble over the sinless blood of Jesus Christ although they fully comprehend His bodily death and resurrection.

They still preach the Old Covenant of the Law of Moses for dealing with sin: Psa 32:5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

Psa 38:18 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

Some in error use the above verses as a mantra` a sure fix for getting forgiven of their sins essentially thinking/ believing oops I have sinned and am very sorry forgive me Lord, thanks its fixed, I'm in good with God again.

This creates in error a “victim of sin theology” which falsely enables people to wrongly see themselves as hapless, sinful, weak and deserving of pity because they just can’t help themselves-sin just happens. Ironically, they see themselves as not being soft on sin because they are so terribly sorry for them and will be again and again, although they never stop doing most of them.

Many times, in error to confirm their mantra they attach it to OR mix it with the New Covenant expressly forbidden by God: 1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness.

Here is the correct interpretation: Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

The above N.T verses back up, and confirms the New Covenant of Jesus Christ:   Heb 10:17

And their sins and iniquities will I remember NO MORE.

Heb 10:18 Now where remission of these is, there is NO MORE offering for sin.

Here in Hebrews as well as other places in scriptures God totally teaches that no one can be saved through the Law of Moses. For this reason, among many, No Christian ever has to plead the O.T. with Jesus:  Psa 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

The Bible states clearly throughout how every Christian is to obey God not their old sin nature without exception. Over time we learn how to deal with our old nature to please God and not ourselves. Christians choose not to practice sin because we are empowered by God not to have to: 1Jo 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him

AMP 1 John 5: 18We know [with confidence] that anyone born of God does not habitually sin; but He (Jesus) who was born of God [carefully] keeps and protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.

Let us, dearly beloveds, go on into the study as the Lord leads, and the Holy Spirit ministers the word to us in the presence of God our Father.

Heb 8:4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: The Bible most certainly and clearly shows that in Jesus’ earthly ministry He never once claimed to be a priest under the Law although He frequently taught the scriptures in the synagogues.

Furthermore, holy people, He could never be a priest under the Law seeing He was not a descendent of Aaron. Therefore, it is in vain and in error for anyone to teach that Jesus taught that people could be made righteous in the sight of God through the Law. Most importantly, Jesus never sinned, and never had any need to confess such, or make any sacrifice for His sins under the Law. He took our sins, but Jesus never sinned. In this way, He is the only sinless human being who ever lived on earth, never ceased to be God Incarnate who has fulfilled the Law forever:

Rom 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

    See:  Gal 3:1-28.

If it is impossible for Jesus to be a priest under the Law, proof positive that God did not ordain God His Son as a high priest of the Levitical law. The Bible keeps making it absolutely clear that Jesus Christ is not connected with the Levitical priesthood in any way or manner whatsoever, and neither are any of His people-those who have chosen to believe and obey Him.

Some Christians in error lust after the Levitical tithe and think to claim it. However, no gentile, no one not of the seed of Aaron has any right to the tithes given on earth.

God commanded that this earthly tithe be destined for the earthly Aaronic priesthood alone, who used it not only for themselves but for the poor, widows, orphans, sick, strangers in need of help, none of them had to pay a tithe. Most Christians claiming the tithes in error keep most of the money for themselves, and tell the widows, orphans, poor, sick and strangers to get government welfare, and pay a tithe to them from it too.

We have to continually note that Christians can support any biblical ministry in any amount of their choosing or any other good works that they like. Christians can be asked to give but none can compel them to give a specific amount or against their own will to do so. Please feel free to study more on giving on your own, brethren. No Christian can please God or buy blessings from God by giving anyone on earth a tithe. The kingdom of God is not for sale, all of its blessings are freely given to all believers as a gift.

Brothers and sisters, most of us know these things, but there are those who do not know, and it is extremely important that every member of the body of Christ understand, believe, and live His word. How can we serve a God we do not know or have any unity in the body?

    STUDIES IN HEBREWS

    CHAPTER 8: VS 3

Brothers and sisters, Lord Jesus bless you richly. I have had many hindrances in doing this particuar study, unexplained damage to equipment, hacked internet service, harrassment, stalking, threats that I should cease. However, I count it all joy, for our Lord is worthy. Many brothers and sisters share in the same persecution in this world. I  pray we will understand that while in America we still have, for now, the freedom to worship as we like, there is a tremendous hostility to the gospel message, even as it has always been from the beginning and in this present world.

We know, dearly beloveds we have to  be very careful never to preach a soft perverted gospel of the Christian living a fantasy life free of difficulties for Lord Jesus taught us: Jhn 15:18

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

None of us should be tempted to pervert the gospel to please the world: Jas 4:4

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Instead, brethren, let us boldly, confidently rest in the strength of the Lord.

Jhn 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheerI have overcome the world.

GOOD CHEER: Be of good courage, calm assurance, good cheer.

Act 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

    Rom 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

PATIENCE: steadfastness, constancy, endurance; in the NT the characteristic of a man who is not swerved from his deliberate purpose and his loyalty to faith and piety by even the greatest trials and sufferings; patiently, and steadfastly; a patient, steadfast waiting for; a patient enduring, sustaining, perseverance

Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

2Co 1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

Brothers and sisters, I am humbly thankful for the gospel message of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and the many faithful elders, pastors, and brothers and sisters who love me, helped me understand the scriptures and went even further in being a living example of them to me.

Let us continue on with this study, dearly beloveds, and thank you for your patience. Let us dine richly on the word of God for our spiritual nourishment which He gives us abundantly.

Paul’s intent is to catapult these Hebrew Christians forward to maturity through reteaching them the foundational doctrines of Jesus Christ. Thankfully, we see that they fully embraced His teachings.

Some might ask when or how will a Christian know when they have reached maturation in their faith? Most of us know that we mature as Christians when we believe and accept fully in our hearts and minds all the infallible truths that the Bible declares of Lord Jesus Christ and the word of God without doubting or wavering as we are taught over time, therefore we are rooted and stabilized/established in our faith, with the evidence of living it out daily in our public and private lives.

There is no question, holy brethren, that there are some who despite knowing the truth reject it. However, this does not change nor cancel the infallible eternal truth of God. God's word remains unchanged and in full effect to reward the believer with His good and to reward the evil with His eternal punishment. I take no joy in the fact that the wicked shall be turned into hell, moreover, our God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they should repent and come believing. God gives all mankind a choice. God even gives the angels a choice or free will, with the knowledge that our choices have eternal consequences that are irreversible- for the good eternal peace in the presence of God, for the evil eternal separation and damnation in eternal punishment and torment ultimately in the lake of fire.

The mature Christian understands that those who have been carefully taught the faith and choose to unrepentantly reject it whether in part or as a whole are still dead in their sins, whose end is perdition.

We know, holy brethren, that the gospel message is never to be confined exclusively within the four walled church but each of us are commanded to take it out to the world. Praise God for the multitudes of brothers and sisters sharing the good news of the gospel everywhere that they can. A shout out to the many churches boldly, hard driving in teaching the whole church the scriptures ongoing knowing it is the only way in which God commands the church to be fully equipped/unified as one in Him:

I entreat you brothers and sisters, as priests of God:  Rom 12:1

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

REASONABLE: agreeable to reason, following reason, reasonable, logical.

Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

1Jo 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Heb 8:3For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.

Notice that gifts and sacrifices are plural, hence a plurality of gifts to the church through the Holy Ghost released through the sacrifices of Christ in the sinless life He lived, in the sacrifice of both His body and blood, the fulfilment of the Law and all the prophets had foretold of Him, the release of the holy spirit which seals every believer the moment they believe, along with the indwelling of God the Father with the Lord Himself.

ORDAINED: to set one over a thing (in charge of it); to appoint one to administer an office; to place down (permanently).

NECESSITY: what one cannot do without, indispensable.

The above scripture, short, but so spiritually nutrient rich. God the Father sets the standard. None that He did not call can ever be ordained. None can officiate empty handed. Herein the Holy Spirit shouts of the full atoning works of Christ as His matchless sacrifices offered to God in our behalf. The Holy Spirit is driving relentlessly, meticulously, clearly and absolutely, in doing His appointed work ordained by God in showing us the glory and splendor of God the Son of God Jesus Christ. In later chapters He will continue to reveal the Christ fully loaded with all power, authority, endless life, set in place permanently as the sole High Priest over the house of God, by the will of God the Father and witnessed by the Holy Spirit.

In some ways, dearly beloveds, it can seem like some chapters, also found throughout scripture say the same things. Yes, indeed, many of the chapters seem highly meticulous/repetitious to the nth degree. This repetitiousness signifies the great importance of these things, that we must never neglect. As mentioned earlier, there are some who are clueless about the importance of the sinless blood of Jesus, although they rightly accept His death on the cross and resurrection. I am not addressing apostates here at all. Raise your hand if you understand sheep are clueless and must be carefully taught. I raised both of mine, brethren, and might be among those in first place. I continually thank my God for the many relentless God- fearing teachers who loved me and opened up the scriptures until faith was birthed in me and I believed and received the New Covenant of Jesus Christ declared by Lord Jesus in the bread representing His body, and in the wine representing His sinless blood: Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

REMISSION: forgiveness or pardon, of sins (letting them go as if they had never been committed), remission of the penalty.

We are the holy family of God, a family of priests under our High Priest and Saviour Jesus Christ. We gain the understanding that the the local church is designed by God to be a fully functioning priesthood, not a passive spectatorship; but one in which the gifts of each member would contribute to the whole, and corporate teaching developed to mature all members to go forward to maturity to be able to teach others. Although the church is orgainized it is not an organization, but a fellowship of equal believers, although some will have greater responsibility.

    Love and truth, serola

Brothers and sisters, thanks so much for your patience in these studies. There has been extreme hindrances including the total damage to my new system. Please pray for the brethren in those places where their lives and their families lives would be in danger if it was known that they are Christians.
In the meantime I'll be adding to my saved post at this site. Lord Jesus Christ our Sole Eternal Saviour, Mighty Son of God, Invincible Potentate, shall bruise satan under your feet. Romans 16:20
