Beloveds, we must clear up the lie that when the Lord told Joshua he would have good success through obeying the Law, that this was meant for Christians today. The Lord told this to Joshua that in obeying the Old Covenant of the Law God would give him success in conquering certain lands and taking these lands for the nation of Israel: Joshua 1: 5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.

Also in keeping the Old Covenant of the Law, (which is all they had from God), he would not face the wrath of God and die as Aaron and Moses did for their disobedience to God in not keeping the Old Covenant of the Law: Num. 27: 12 And the LORD said unto Moses, Get thee up into this mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given unto the children of Israel. 13 And when thou hast seen it, thou also shalt be gathered unto thy people, as Aaron thy brother was gathered. 14 For ye rebelled against my commandment in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes: that is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.

Moses never preached that the Old Covenant of the Law would make anyone permanently righteous in the sight of God. Here is the truth, preached by our Saviour Jesus Christ: Jhn 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.

Luk 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, THEN CHRIST IS DEAD IN VAIN.

See Galatians 3, which explains God’s purposes for the Law; and how Jesus Christ has delivered us from it for all time. Feel free to study on your own the numerous verses that fully declare that Jesus Christ is the eternal Saviour and final sole source of eternal salvation for all time for all who believe in Him. See John 14:6.

Anyone willfully claiming salvation based on keeping the Old Covenant of the Law and/ or combining it with the New Covenant of Jesus Christ, or anything else is not considered a Christian according to the Bible.

Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, THEN CHRIST IS DEAD IN VAIN.

Gal 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the CURSE: for it is written, CURSED is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 11 But that NO MAN is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

          1Ti. 1:5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

1Ti 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; 11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Polls, polls, and more polls are springing up everywhere, and are finding their way into the church, especially those purporting to be about Christians, often of a negative nature, putting the saints in the same dim light as the unsaved. You never know anything about how these so called “Christians” are defined as , and you never know much about who these pollsters are. Frankly saints, I fully agree with and stick with what the Holy Holy Bible, God’s word, has to say about His people, and not according to ANY poll or ANYTHING thing else that contradicts His word. No true Christian, need fear being called hard nosed, or rigid when it comes to the Holy Bible, correctly interpreted, for the scriptures correctly understood, is non- negotiable, and NEVER compromised.

Psychology and many other mind sciences are weighing in on the issue of obesity, even waging war with the Holy Bible, claiming being able to offer a better modern day solution than the scriptures to this problem, and many other problems affecting people today, even Christians. We know, holy brethren, that while Christians are not immune regarding problems that are common to men, we do not live by this world’s standards. We know that every thing does not have to be spiritual for us to use them, while understanding natural typology, we never ignore the spiritual.

Mt. 4: Jesus answered, ‘It is written Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God’. We must rely on God for spiritual feeding. Jesus relied on His Father, not His own miracle power, for provision of food. (see this whole chapter).

Our Creator who made us in Mark 4, the parable of the growing seed makes a remarkable comparison of the natural kingdom and the kingdom of God. (see the whole chapter, saints G40, hagios).

Mark 4:28-29 NIV {Once the seed is scattered) All by itself the soil produces grain-first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. 29 As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts in the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.

Even naturally speaking, things that grow, have a beginning, and nothing springs forth immediately full grown, but have very early origins, in that there is a progression from beginning to maturity of a thing. Once it is ripened or full grown it can be reaped. We reap what is sown by ourselves, and also what is sewn from others. The study will be continued, Lord willing and I hope to see you here again, saints G40 hagios.

Brothers and sisters there are various newscasts, polls and health studies that say many Americans are too fat. It is said that the fall out of this problem is various kinds of health problems. Many children are said to also suffer from obesity. There are organizations claiming there is nothing wrong with being fat, and have banned together to stop discrimination against fat people. Some of us Christians also are facing problems with being overweight.

There is a lot of advice about what one should do or not do about being overweight. 1Cor.9:25 He that would have the mastery is temperate in all things.(G1467 temperate, egkrateuomai. To exercise self restraint in diet and and chastity, contain, be temperate). Beloveds another way of putting it is to eat or do a thing only as much as is good for you. It goes without saying there are persons who have medical problems that causes excess weight, that has nothing to do with consuming excess calories, or lack of exercise.

Saints (G40 hagios), I am sure that most of us know that the Holy Bible prohibits gluttony. We are a rich country, we produce more food than anywhere in the world in my personal opinion, and we eat it. Many people, including Christians, strive to lose and or maintain weight unsuccessfully. While it is true that in general, anyone desiring to lose weight has to exercise, and control the amount of food eaten. There is a plethora of books hawking various diets and schemes to aid a person in losing weight. There are companies that deliver prepared meals claiming to enable the eater to lose weight. A doctor ( I appreciated his honesty) told me that he tried a medical weight loss program consisting of a prepared liquid that was supposed to help him lose weight. He wound up drinking the liquid along with his regular meals and gained weight instead. Of course there are various weight loss groups, and even getting an accountability partner who monitors ones progress or not.

Dear children of the day, in some ways food is so much more than food.

We carry memories, possibly even from early childhood that are indelibly linked with foods we enjoy. Coming in the house, smelling moms apple pie, being served a big slice cheerfully. The lack of regular access to food can also carry memories of deprivation, that we may stave off by eating more than we should.

Let’s stop here for now, and Lord willing I hope to see you here next time. Pray with me, brethren: Lord God, we thank you for all that you have done for us. We bless your Holy Name, offering up our worship to you alone. We are grateful for the food you have given us to enjoy. Bless us Lord, and help us to honor you in all things, whether we eat or drink, let it be for your glory. Amen

Worldly philosophies are as rampant today as it was in ancient times. The scriptures quotes Pilate’s statement “What is truth?”, as though he thought it was something too nebulous to grasp, (see Jn. 18:33-38). Even today these worldly philosophies rise up to challenge the Holy Bible. God’s people who adhere to the truth of the scriptures correctly understood are challenged in the court rooms, and various other organizations, and by individuals who are “offended” by the Gospel. Even our children are challenged in the schools, universities, work, and elsewhere for adhering to their faith.

World-wide Pastors are challenged in the very pulpits, by those who falsely claim that no one can know the will of God, and accusing them of being “intolerant” of other faiths and life-styles; and not being “relevant” to modern times. A pastor in England was arrested and jailed for preaching what the Holy Bible says about the sin of homosexuality. He was released with strict judicial orders that he would be arrested again if he continued to preach “hate speech”. It goes without saying, saints (G40 hagios) no practice of any sin is acceptable to God, and must not be acceptable to His people. Liberal theologians are springing up everywhere, challenging the Holy Bible as too dogmatic, and rewriting the Holy Bible to fit aberrance on many levels.

I came upon a woman claiming that she and her church spent the whole day passing out free bottles of water, to get people to see that Christians are “nice” people, in hopes that they would like Christians. A large congregation in my city accepts actively practicing homosexuals, ordains them, and allows them to serve openly in the church, The reason, they allow this is because “God loves them too”.

Now, beloved children of light, we know that everyone that desires to be saved can come as they are, but must submit to the Lord, in His strengthening to overcome any sin, over time, or immediately, no matter what the sin is, and in fact the person who claims that God cannot deliver them from the power of sin is a liar. God’s way is the ONLY right way, and the ONLY right way is God’s way.

When the Holy Bible says that we can know God, it uses G1492 and G1097 containing to be sure, be resolved. The Holy Bible is the FINAL, NON-NEGOTIABLE, ABSOLUTE, ANSWER, TRUTH, AND STANDARD FOR ALL TIME FOR ALL MEN, AND EVERY SOUL SHALL GIVE ACCOUNT TO HIM.

Holy brothers and sisters, pray for the pastors, that God will continue to give them boldness to speak the Word, in and out of season. Pray that they will not back down under intimidation, and will not compromise with anyone or anything that stands against God. Pray that God will keep them encouraged, courageous, their faces set like flint to uphold the Gospel at all, and any cost. Ask God to continually bless them, to take them to higher levels of joy, that they have not known before. Pray for their protection and for their families. Pray for the teachers and all the saints, that they will take God’s word alone, correctly understood as their final answer in this world. Heb. 4:12-13 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword and piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and morrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Pray for the saints that are sick, and cannot get well, that they would know that they are still loved, and valued-not counted as worthless and useless. Visit them as you are able in their, homes, hospitals, and hospices. Remember the poor, brethren, donate to your local food pantry if you are able. Give your gently used clothes and items to those who distribute these things to the poor, and keep them in your prayers. Beloveds remember to be friendly to one another, reach out to others at your local church and elsewhere. Pray for the multitudes that are unemployed and cannot find work despite their best efforts, that they will not give up. Pray that financial strain will not separate families. Pray that God will grant them jobs with a living wage.

Remember to pray all kinds of prayers for your needs too, dear children of light. Prayer is the privilege, command and right from our Triune God granted to each and every one of His saints( G40 hagios).

Pray when you feel like it, and pray when you do not feel like it, for prayer has nothing to do with our emotions, but the FACTS of the Holy Bible. Pray to God, and do not fret about the outcome. He loves us so much, that we need not fear that He will not do His best for us. The truth is, dear children of the day, God wants better for us than we do for ourselves. Feel free to search on your own dear beloveds what our attitudes, and motives must be in regards to prayer.

Heb. 4:15-16 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Dear saints ( hagios G40), we can experience God’s love, be encouraged, lifted up, rebuked, comforted, taught and so much more through the Holy Bible, correctly understood. God’s word is comprehensive as well as specific. Our Lord desires us to seek the best of gifts, especially one more than them all: 1Co. 12: 31 But covet earnestly the best gifts; and yet show I unto you a more excellent way.

1 Co. 13:1-8 Though I speak with the tongues of men and angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profited me nothing. 4 Charity suffered long, and is kind, charity envieth not, charity vaunted not itself, is not puffed up. 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things./ 8 Charity never faileth.

Ro. 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the holy Ghost which is given for us.

Ro. 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Ro. 5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

Ro. 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that , while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Then, children of light, and of the day, Jesus sent this same Holy Spirit, also known as the Spirit of truth, that shed God’s love into our hearts to also guide us into all truth. See Heb. 10:29 He is also referred to as the Spirit of grace.

Jn. 16:13 Howbeit when he the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak and he will show you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine; therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.

Beloveds God is so personal with us as individuals and as a whole. How marvelous that neither love nor truth which is objective, is seen in a separated, cold objectified way, but brought through the intimacy of the person of the Triune God. Our triune God desires to share with us all that He has for us through the person and work of the Trinity.

Dearly beloveds, let us remember to keep our pastors and their families in our prayers. I give thanks for the multitude of loving, kind pastors, that labor out of love for God and His people. Tell them that you love them and their families, let them know that you keep them in your prayers. Support them as consistently, and generously as God has enabled you. Volunteer to help them, and come along beside them to aid them consistently. Pray all kinds of prayers for them, teachers, saints, and all men. Do not hesitate to pray for your own needs. What ever the situation, take it to God first in prayer. Beloveds our prayers are never in vain, for Jesus has promised that he will hear us, and answer us or not according to His will. We know He always wants the best for us, we can pray in confidence, leaving the outcome to Him.

    Love

Tuning around the radio one day, saints (hagios), I caught a sermon of a pastor who seemed to be greatly agitated. “love, love, love!!. That’s all some Christians want to talk about.!!!” . He continued on in great agitation to express, that some so focused on love, overlook discipline, order, and admonishing in the church, which allows foolish and sinful behaviors to go unchecked, among the body including leaders. He thought love was not enough, that there was more to the church than this. I have heard other teachers and saints echo this same thing, and I at one time did the same.

I can easily agree that ungodly behaviors in the church must be checked, but I understood what he meant by love. The kind of love he mentioned, it seems to me, is tolerant, busy trying to be “nice”, and does not want anybody to feel “bad” telling them the truth about observed problem attitudes, actions or behaviors; thinks we can just love them to being “good”. An element of thought I think here is that saying or pointing out some ungodly behaviors, or attitudes among believers, is the same as judging. This wrong kind of love may also be influenced by the world’s philosophy that there is no absolute truth, everything is “relative”, depending on the situation, and therefore we must be “tolerant” of anything that does not agree with what we believe.

Holy brethren, I think we can easily agree this is the wrong kind of love, completely out of step with the scriptures from beginning to end.

Through godly teachers of which there are many, I came to appreciate the gospel as the sole, final answer, authority and truth, correctly understood for all men, whether they agreed with it or not. I came to understand that the Holy Bible is the basis for any conclusion that we come to and not our own personal opinions. No teaching or belief, not supported by correctly understood scripture is of any value, it is just our personal opinion and NOTHING more.

Beloveds as I began to search out God’s word on what love is, I repented of my wrong understanding. At the same time I pray that we will always pray and share any corrected understanding of the scriptures granted to us. I could see the fallacy in thinking that love is separate from truth. The danger of seeing them as separate is that both are diminished and stripped of any value. Love without truth is foolish and destructive. Truth without love is deadly, and also destructive.

The Holy Bible is easy to understand, it is simple, to the point, uses no fancy words, and confirms itself through itself. No Christian needs any special training to understand it, remember it was written by Apostles and prophets some who were called (G62 unlettered, ie. Illiterate) “unlearned” and (G2399 an ignoramus, idiot, rude,)“ignorant”.

I am not against education, saints (hagios), but it cannot be used as the credential by which we are deemed to understand the scriptures. Do we rightly divide the scriptures and live it out of love for God, this is God’s standard and acceptable with Him, whether we are learned or not according to worldly standards.

We should NEVER edit the scriptures to fit with our personal opinions, no matter how sincerely we believe we are right, we are just plain wrong, must repent and turn to the truth out of our love, and reverence for God. This having been said, I learned from God’s word that we must speak the truth in love, (Eph. 4:11-16 ) even if at times it has to be harshly. Gal. 2: 11-17.

Love (agape) and truth are eternally bound together in and by our Triune God, neither being genuine or of eternal value without the other. Indeed, children of light, they can never be separated. He or she that loves (agape) will also face and speak God’s truth and not his or her own personal opinions.

Beloveds join me in this prayer: Lord God, Most Holy, Sovereign, and Mighty; we reverence your will, we exalt your Name above all names, even our own names. Let your love and truth be our everlasting standard, shield and anchor, that through faith, we shall love, honor, obey, and serve you alone, for you alone are worthy. Amen.

    Part 22 The Confessing Church?

This is not an exhaustive study, saints, as no study can be. Feel free to look up on your own the multitudes of comprehensive scriptures specific and general, on how saints must relate to God, one another, the church as a whole, and all men. We know, beloveds that our Triune God, is not three Gods, but three persons in One God; God the Father; God the Son Jesus; and God the Holy Ghost; eternally bound as One in Love. And our Triune God is in full agreement together.

It is very important, beloveds. to understand that when the Holy Bible mentions the Holy Spirit, also called the Holy Ghost, and the Spirit, it is NEVER in any sense as being separate from the Trinity as a whole, and Never does the mention of One of the Persons of the Trinity diminish the work, worship and adoration due to the Trinity as a whole nor implied in the entire Holy Bible . It is IMPOSSIBLE for the Trinity, bound together as ONE, in eternal love to be separated. We, God’s saints, are in the Triune God also and: NOTHING, Absolutely NOTHING can separate us from the love of God, in Christ Jesus. Ro. 8:25-26.

Dear friends, those who deliberately teach falsely that Christians can lose fellowship and/ or Salvation with God never had it. The Holy Bible is clear until the return of our Lord Jesus there will be those false teachers, evil messenger who, hate and will lie on God, and who will try to get His people to believe( totally in vain, we are kept by God‘s power) that our Lord’s work is not complete, and completely finished, whom God shall repay with unquenchable fire. But as for all of God’s people we are complete in Him for He says to each and every one of us: Gal. 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. (see also Gal. 2:11-15)

Yet some ignore the Holy Spirit, but the Holy Bible absolutely does not, we must see and understand Him according to the scriptures, correctly understood: Mt. 1:18-20; Mt. 3:11; Mt. 12:31-32; Mt. 28:19; Lk. 1:15;Jn. 7: 38-39; Jn. 14:25; Acts 1:1-8; Acts 2: 3-4: Acts 2:38; Ro. 5:5; Ro. 14:17; Titus 3:3-8; there too many other passages to post, feel free to look up others on your own, as well as the Old Testament references to Him.

While the Holy Ghost is not specifically mentioned in the following passages, certainly those presenting their works always totally as their own, excluding Him is not only unacceptable to God, but meet with disastrous and eternal rejection by Christ: Mt. 7:22-23 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in they name: and in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 then will I profess unto them, I never knew you, depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The scriptures commands us that we should confess (G1843 exomologeo—to acknowledge or (by implication of assent) agree fully :- confess, profess, promise. ) our faults one to another, and pray for one another that in doing so we may be healed:

Jas. 5:15 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. See also Acts 19:18.

This is used in the SOLE context in which Christians confess TO ONE ANOTHER, in mutuality for the purpose of RESTORATION over some particular sin, and NEVER (G3470)confession for Salvation. Please feel free to look up on your own, the role of repentance/and refusal to, forgiveness/and lack of among believers, church discipline/and lack of, and chastisement of the Lord and refusal to receive chastisement of the Lord.

Holy brothers and sisters this is the conclusion of the subject on confession of the saints ( G40 hagios) in relation vertically to God and horizontally to one another.

Say this with me saints: We give thanks to you our Triune God, to whom belongs all worship, glory, honor, majesty and power. We love and adore you, for you alone are both Sovereign and Source of our Salvation and even our very lives. We the holy peoples, whom you alone have created, and made kings and priests unto you, God, turn to you with the lips and tongues that you have given us, to gladly and joyfully, offer up to you alone, eternal sacrifices of worship, and perpetual love offerings to your Holy Name, in all submission and humility. Amen

    The Confessing Church?

    Part 22

1Jn. 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Dear brothers and sisters, here is the simple truth of the scriptures, except for Jesus Christ, ANYBODY else, whether it is mother, father, sister, brother, any relative, teacher, preacher, friend, mentor, guru, school, institution, organization, seminary, church, leader, denomination, theologian, scholar,  etc. that claims or believes that they have NEVER had ANY sin at all is totally self- deceived and is absolutely devoid of any truth at all.

1Jn. 1: 9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The confession John is speaking of here is G3470 homologeo to assent, I.e. COVENANT, acknowledge, con (pro-) fess, confession, is made, give thanks, promise. This is the confession that every penitent sinner makes to God, in full agreement with Him, that we are sinners in need of His forgiveness. All who come to Jesus in this way are forgiven and He is faithful to forgive our sins and cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. Our Saviour’s cleansing we can trust is complete, finished for all time through His eternal Atonement. See 1Jn 4:2; Rom. 10:10; Luke 12:18.

Christians, are not required to make this confession to God over and over again, for we are still looking at this IN RELATION OF GOD TO ALL BELIEVERS UNDER GRACE. Scriptures backs up and confirms scripture for we need only look at Heb. 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold FAST our profession. Heb. 10:23 let us hold FAST the profession of our faith WITHOUT WAVERING, (for he is faithful that promised;) see this whole chapter.

This profession that we hold FAST is G3671 homologia, from the same as in G3670, acknowledgement-con (pro-) fession, profess.

To hold fast means G2722 Katecho, to hold down fast,( lit. or fig.)- have hold (fast), keep (in memory), possess, retain, seize, stay. This is a one time permanent confession we must make to God, who offers a ONE Time Atonement-the blood sacrifice of Himself, ONCE AND FOR ALL-refers back to Hebrews.

10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

    1 John 1:10 (KJV

Beloveds other than our sinless Messiah and Saviour Lord Jesus Christ, this means that if we or anybody else who claims or believes that they are sinless, and have never even sinned is only fooling themselves, being devoid of the truth. Furthermore they are calling Jesus a liar, which certifies that His word is not in them at all.

However dearly beloveds, we can be sure that we or any penitent sinner who confesses their sins can rest in the faithfulness of our sinless Messiah and Saviour, trusting in His faithfulness, His final, complete, finished Atonement in His own Precious blood, that He forgives us once and for all, and completely takes away, cleanses us from All sin. This ALL is just as absolute as His Atonement.

Gal. 2:20 I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who LOVED me, and gave himself for me. Gal. 1:4; Eph. 5:25; 1Ti. 2:6; Ti. 2:14

If our Lord has so loved us, dear saints, we can truly rest and trust in His finished work, that only He could do for us.

1John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate ( means G3875 Parakletos, an intercessor, consoler, advocate, comforter.) with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: (Christ has appeased the wrath of God against Christians, and taken their sins away). See 1John 5: 18.

1John 2:2 And he is the propitiation ( means G2434 Hilasmos atonement, I.e. (concr.) an expiator:- propitiation.) for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Christ’s atoning sacrifice is not limited to one particular group only, it has world wide application, that God is an impartial God-whomsoever will, let them come, He will receive all that believe on the Name of His Son Jesus.

Oh I know, dear saints (means G40 Hagios, from hagos, (an awful thing) sacred, (phys. Pure, Mor. Blameless or religious), cer. Consecrated-(most) holy (one, thing) saint). There is always someone who will insist in error, that you continually confess to God all your sins. Well this would be true if we were under the law, which we are NOT. Confession under the law means (G3034 Yahah to revere, or worship with extended hands, intens. To bemoan, by wringing the hands in confession, praise, thankfulness. This kind of confession made under the law is obviously no longer acceptable by God, by reason that Now under grace through His Son Jesus Christ we have a better sacrifice, and a better High Priest.

Now if someone IN IGNORANCE preaches this Old Testament confession, God will reveal the truth to them and they will repent and turn to the truth from error. 1Jn. 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Certainly, we can thank God through the Holy Spirit, who has sent godly pastors, teachers and the body of Christ as a whole to His saints, to turn us to the truth through rightly interpreting and living the word of truth. Obviously those who refuse to hear us and who reject the Holy Bible are revealed as having the spirit of error.

Now again, as the scriptures comprehensively reveals and teaches that saints do not have a license to sin, nor are we to practice or make a lifestye or idol of any sin. The continuing role of repentance, rights, privileges, responsibilities, commands, expectation, and the work of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in these areas are clearly and completely spelled out by God in the Holy Bible.

This concludes confession OF BELIEVERS IN RELATION TO God UNDER GRACE. Feel free to continue on your own, saints, for more study in this area. Christ frees us to enjoy and serve Him in the works that He has prepared for us beforehand, to love Him, one another and all men, while keeping a firm  reign over our flesh, by His power.

    The Confessing Church?

    Part 21

No study can be exhaustive, holy brothers and sisters, we are all a piece of the whole cloth, wherein our Triune God, allows us to participate in the growth of the body, through the word of God rightly understood. I have laid out scriptures, which is the foundation of any study, not personal opinions, slipshod so-called theology, or second guesses. We must take upon ourselves the whole counsel of God to rightly divide the word of truth. Lord Jesus has given us His word so that we will truly know and Love Him, one another and all men, and to live and carry out His will.

1John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world; and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Now the point of this verse is not that any of us should get puffed up, as though our faith came out of our work or that of mere men, but the kind of faith we have comes from an unimpeachable, unquestionable, totally powerful and unchanging source:

Ro. 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

So once again, I say holy brothers and sisters truly our joy is rooted not in what we have done, but what God has done for us, for He is ever faithful.

Mt. 21:44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. (see the whole chapter).

John 19: 36 (see the whole of this chapter) 36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.

1 Co. 11:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said. Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you, this do in remembrance of me. (See the whole of this chapter).

Dear saints if we understand what John is saying in his epistles, the verses above regarding “broken” will absolutely not be seen as the scriptures contradicting itself at all. This breaking is not what other saints do to us nor can they do for us.

Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall NOT be confounded. 7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, 8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10 Which in time past were not a people, but are NOW the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

    1 Peter 2:6-10 (KJV)

6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

    2 Cor 4:5-6 (KJV)

7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. 8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

    1 John 2:7-8 (KJV)

John continues to write in absolutes regarding God in relation to ALL believers: The Kingdom of God is ABSOLUTE light, and the Kingdom of satan is ABSOLUTE dark, there is ABSOLUTELY NO blending of these two kingdoms, ONLY those belonging to the Kingdom of God have His light forever residing in them, and by His power are endued by the Holy Spirit to carry out his will in their everyday lives. God does not give us the license to sin, and He has given all that we need so that sin will not be our master. The scriptures totally and completely debunks those who preach Christians have one foot in darkness and one foot in light; part sinner and part saint. You will NOT find any such doctrine in the entire scriptures. There is no such hybrid creature in all the scripture.

Eph. 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the WHOLE family in heaven AND earth is NAMED. Dare we insult the King of Glory by refusing the name He gave us? God forbid!!

Now we come to the final verses of 1John 1:8-10. Sadly these very verses stripped of the whole counsel of God, and their complete connection to the finished work of Christ, have been used by ungodly, LYING, wicked, perverse, tricky false teachers, toxic messengers, to terrorize the immature, weak brothers and sisters seeking desperately to serve the living God, bringing sadness, defeat, hopelessness, death, and instability instead of the full joy, that comes from rightly understanding the scriptures. I am not speaking of those who have itching ears, and do not want to hear the true gospel at all.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

    1 John 1:8-10 (KJV

Let us stop here for now, I pray that our Lord will always grow, strengthen, and keep you in the knowledge of His power and love always, as He surely will.

    Love

    The Confessing Church?

    Part 20

John, the writer of the book of John, the epistles of John, and the Revelation, is also among the first of the apostles to be chosen by Christ to serve in the Messiahs earthly ministry, he was also in the upper room along with the 120 in the city of Jerusalem waiting, by command of the Risen Saviour, to be endued with power from on High. In that same room he along with the 120 received and are sealed with the Holy Ghost, through the faith of Jesus. This is the very same Holy Ghost through which all believers are sealed, indwelt, and empowered to be kept and to carry out and to live holy lives in the will of God, by the finished work of Christ.

1John 1:6  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from ALL sin.

It is of the utmost importance to understand that the Holy Ghost teaching through John, is speaking in absolutes still, for there  can be NO blending of dark and light, no creature in-between-er who switches back and forward between dark and light. There is absolutely NO negotiation regarding this whatsoever. NONE AT ALL. The blood of Lord Jesus, is the power, the power of the Holy Spirit being also the guarantee that by the power of God, not by any work of the flesh, EVERY saint enjoys ETERNAL. PERMANENT, UNBROKEN KOINONIA, that is fellowship with God and the saints in  light, which is light absolute. There is absolutely no darkness of any kind in Lord Jesus, and therefore the Triune God, nor in those IN HIM, whom His blood has cleansed, from ALL sin. This “ALL” is absolute.

12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall Not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

    John 8:12 (KJV)

8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but NOW are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11 And have NO fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

    Eph 5:7-13 (KJV)

5 Ye are ALL the children of light, and the children of the day: we are NOT of the night, nor of darkness.

    1 Thess 5:5 (KJV)

1John 2:8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you, because the darkness is past, and the true light NOW shineth.

1John 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 1Jn. 4: 14-17.

The scriptures is easy to understand, the Holy Spirit makes this so by the Grace of God. God commands us to walk in the light of Lord Jesus, because, He through the Holy Spirit has enabled us to do so. Those who do not have the Holy Spirit indwelling them through faith in Jesus the Son of the Living God, are unable to walk in the light, because there is no light in them. Therefore, again I say to you saints, we can be full of joy, at God’s command to walk in the light, for He alone has empowered us to do so. This then is the difference between dark and light. All that is in the light of Jesus is all light, and that which is not in His light is all darkness, Period. It is because of Christ that we are able to walk in the light- without Him we can do nothing.

John will go on to explicitly define what absolutely constitutes our walk in the light, in sharp contrast to those who walk in darkness. Only those cleansed in the blood of Jesus can walk in the light. Be sure to understand, beloved children of the day, two kingdoms are presented here and there is absolutely no agreement between them, no blending of them at all, for they are eternally separated.

If God has commanded us to walk in the light, which indeed He has, we will not fail Him, for He has given us His promise that He will not let us fall. He is truth, there is no lie in Him. He is our assurance, for He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. Heb. 12:1-2; Heb. 13:20- 21.

Let us stop here for now, children of light. Brethren ( includes sisters too) let us give thanks together. Lord God we give thanks to you, Lord Jesus, and Holy Spirit, for by you alone are we made to be partakers of eternal life, empowered to serve, worship, and obey you in love, by your mighty eternal truth and power. Amen
