Heb 8:10

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts:  and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

 Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and

 their iniquities will I remember no more. 

Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

the false teacher will deny THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH OF  Heb 8:12 AND WILL LIE AND SAY ETERNAL LIFE, ETERNAL SALVATION IS ONLY TEMPORARY AND CAN BE LOST INSTEAD OF THE TRUTH THAT IT CAN NEVER BE LOST AND IS FOREVER, ETERNAL. When anyone willfully teaches the lie that there is neither eternal life nor eternal salvation, we know we are dealing with a child of the devil, coming to do the works of their father the devil who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy the people of God and their faith in God. However, greater is He- God within us than he-the devil that is in this world.

Heb 5:9 - And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

1Jo 5:10 - He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

JESUS TEACHES US THAT BOTH HIS BODY AND BLOOD WAS NECESSARY TO MAKE AND COMPLETE THE ATONEMENT. Mat 26:26-28 The New Covenant is an absolute, eternal unchanging blood covenant, is finished for all time, Jesus Christ its Word, Saviour, Mediator, High Priest, HEAD OF THE CHURCH, and Absolute Supreme Standard. He is the absolute gospel with all of His doctrines, principals, and boundaries which are rooted, ratified, unchanging, and set for all time, by and in the will of God the Father. Holy brethren, we know that we must keep this fresh and not let it slip. This is all a part of our spiritual food, eat it all.

CURSED ARE ALL WHO ADD TO OR TAKE AWAY FROM THIS NEW COVENANT: Gal 1:8-9.

Holy people, let us continually keep in remembrance and understanding that all of our works or knowledge, regardless of how great, is worthless to God and can never please him without faith that works by love:  Gal 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Brothers and sisters, let us the holy family/priests, under our Living eternal High Priest, Saviour, Mediator and king Jesus Christ, give Him offerings of the sweet sacrifices of our love, thanks, blessings and praises, for He is worthy and does all things well and faithfully to God His and our Father and to us His people.

Much love, blessings and peace to you holy brethren in every place and nation, you are in my thoughts, heart and prayers early and often. Let us remember our brothers and sisters in countries and some in America as well where they cannot openly worship; for it will have terrible consequences for them, family, and friends. We know that all who will live godly will suffer persecution: Jhn 16:33; 2Ti 3:12; Rom 8:18; 2Th 1:6-9; Psa 37:1;  Pro 24:19.

Let us do all the good that we can and share the gospel message in this present evil world as we have opportunity that all who will hear and believe will be saved even as we have been.

As we sit together again at the Lord’s table, we will continue to feast richly on the Word, His love, His truth, and kindness. Let us dine fully and also do the word daily out of love and faith in Christ our Saviour: Jas 1:25 - But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Paul, the apostle has laid out a heavy feast of the Word for these Hebrew believers and us too. Addressing them as mature believers now through having been retaught and receiving/and believing the gospel, he took them backwards in time to the Law and its great inadequacies in order to bring them forward with the absolute certain understanding that God has absolutely abolished the Mosaic Law forever for righteousness through the eternal, powerful sufficient/effective atonement of Lord Jesus Christ God the Son of God.    

Heb 12: 22 - But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

The YOU, Paul is addressing is not just these Hebrew believers, but you, me, us, all believers both Jew and gentile for all time. We come to the mount Sion of peace and God our Father who lives in us and us in Him, whom we can touch with humility and holy reverence, even to the very eternal city of God in heaven itself, not made with hands, but by God Himself.

Who is YOU:-a new spiritual creature in an earthen vessel: We know three things, dearly beloveds, through faith in Jesus Christ, we are forever forgiven of all sins, past present, and future, being washed in the sinless blood of Jesus Christ, made new creatures in Him, and sealed forever unto God by the Holy Ghost. Therefore, we are forever brought into the deepest intimacy of love and fellowship with God and with His people forever. God won't throw our past sins in our faces, or seek to destroy us, for we are forever delivered from the wrath of God. 

Rom 8:9 - But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in YOU. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

We know absolutely that no man nor woman shall enter into the kingdom of God through gold, silver, carnal payments of any kind, nor any manner or kind of works of man, but by the free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone: Jhn 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Col 1:21 - And YOU, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

Col 1:22 - In the body of his flesh through death, to present YOU holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

YOU: 2Co 5:17 - Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

YOU: 1Pe 2:9 - But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

1Pe 2:10 - Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

We know, dearly beloveds not to be tempted to make an idol of the earthly Jerusalem on this present evil earth, but understand the true Jerusalem is in heaven and will manifest according to God’s timing in an eternal new earth: Gal 4:26. 

We behold the numberless mighty holy angels, created beings, our angelic brethren, His servants: Heb 1:14.

We catch our breath in awe as we understand in seeing the angels that Jesus God the Son of God gives us a preview of ourselves in the future eternal world:  Luk 20:35 - But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

36 - Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

Heb 12:23 - To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

The general assembly whose names are written in the Book of Life, the true church consisting of all believers on earth now and in the future and those believers in the past who died whom Christ delivered who had awaited His coming in the bosom of Abraham and afterwards every believer who falls asleep awakens in the arms of Christ also perfected in spirit having passed their tests and been proven faithful in loving and trusting God:

1Th 4:13- But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 - For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. 15 - For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.

Jesus is the Firstborn of every creature because it's God's will that the inheritance comes only to and through the firstborn who alone has the right to distribute it so that everyone who believes in Him is counted as firstborn with Him. Therefore, He seats us with Him in His throne, withholding nothing of Himself nor any of His goodness from us. If we out of love and trust in Him gladly faithfully suffer with Him, we shall also reign with Him:  Rev 3:21 - To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

1Jo 5:5 - Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Jesus gives power to all of His people. 

Jhn 1:12 - But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Rev 20:6 - Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

2Ti 2:12 - If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

The church of the firstborn: Jesus whom God appointed forever the Head of the Church, and all born of the Spirit through faith in Him: let us pay attention and take the utmost heed holy brethren:   Col 1:14-17 ;Col 1:18-19. God will judge all things through Jesus Christ. However, only the dead whose names are not written in the book of life- those who died having rejected Christ, will appear before the great white throne, the judgment seat of God, where they will be judged on their own carnal works, and afterwards be thrown into the lake of fire to suffer everlasting damnation and punishment: Rev 20:15.

As for the people of God His saints (G40 hagios) Rev 7:17 - For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Rev 21:4 - And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Brothers  and sisters, let us the royal holy family/priests of God give our love, thanks, blessings, honor, glory, praise, and worship to God our Father, God the Son of God Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit, who has made us fit to inherit the eternal love, blessing, privileges, and rights of the children of His eternal kingdom.

Much love and blessings to you all, dearly beloveds, who are saved by the grace of God and kept by Him until the day of His coming. Praise God who has made us spiritually whole and complete in God the Son Jesus Christ, and the knowledge that when we have Jesus, we have everything we need. We lose and have no need of the fruitless drive to be “somebody” because we are in the holy eternal body of Christ in God the fullness of the Godhead. 

Therefore, instead of self-exaltation or jockying to see “who amongst us is the greatest” we are free to exalt our God alone above all, and to love Him and one another freely as the holy royal family of God without partiality or competitiveness, working together for the sake of the gospel.

Brothers and sisters, I pray we will get a full reward for our good works done out of love for God along with sharing the gospel as it was shared with us: 1Co 3:8-11; Col 3: 23-24; 2Jo 1:8; Eph 6:8; Rev 22:12;

Brothers and sisters, thank God for another opportunity to sit together with you at our Lord’s table to feast on the Word and receive abundant spiritual nourishment of comfort, wisdom, love and truth that we may live fully thereby.

We know that Paul is no longer addressing these Hebrew believers as students, but as mature believers having been taught the gospel now grounded in the gospel with the knowledge that it is ABSOLUTE TRUTH, everlasting, unchanging and unchangeable.

Again, and again, dearly beloveds, we know without questions that Paul is addressing all Jew and gentile believers for all time, not just these Jewish saints (G40 hagios) believers of long ago. All who come to God, are commanded by God to come in faith believing in the ABSOLUTE TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL without doubt or wavering, seeing it is impossible for God to lie: Heb 10:23; Jas 1:6; Heb 6:18; Heb 11:6.

Heb 12:18 - For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

Not: meaning absolutely not.

The believers in Christ know that they are absolutely not connected to Israel under the law and absolutely in no wise coming to the God of the Mosaic Law who came down to terrify an unbelieving Israel to instill fear of Him that would make them obey; whom He knew had been serving idols even down in Egypt before He set them free, and whom He knew would show a pattern of unfaithfulness/unbelief, to make promises to obey Him with lying lips: Deu 4:10; Jos 24:14; 2Ki 18:12. 

Heb 12:19 - And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more 20 - (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:

21 - And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)

When Israel under the Law saw God, even Moses their appointed deliverer was shaken with fear. Although some did believe, nevertheless the majority of the nation did not receive the truth that the Sovereign God has the unquestioned right over all His creations whether to life or death: Deu 32:39.

Instead, they challenged His absolute sovereign righteousness and right to not allow them to touch Him and accused Him of having plans to kill them because of His commands that any that should touch the mount that He appeared in would die, be put to death: Exo 20:19. What a contrast to Job who leaves us an unquestioned testimony of His faith in God: Job 13:15; Job 1:21. 

The nation under the temporary Mosaic law were carnal men, only the prophets, certain others had the Holy Spirit.

All the nation of Israel had was a God who could not/would not be touched by sinful men, limited temporary Mosaic Covenant of death, curse and punishment, limited temporary priesthood of sinful unfaithful men, limited sacrifice of TEMPORARY atonement needing to be done yearly, limited temporary earthly tabernacle.

Therefore, holy brethren, we know that there can never be any reason nor justification for any Christian to look for any means of serving or pleasing God through the expired for righteousness for all time Mosaic Law, that has been done away forever in Christ.

Brothers and sisters, let us the holy royal family of God whom God our Father has made His children and priests give God our Father continual love, honor, glory, thanks, blessings, and praise offerings for the free gift/unmerited favor and mercy of Eternal salvation in which we stand forever in His presence and power through our great Shepherd of the flock of God Jesus Christ,

CHAPTER 12 V 16

Brothers and sisters, let us also give continual love offerings, blessings, honor, glory, thanks, and praises to Lord Jesus Christ God the Son of God, our Saviour/High Priest Mediator, King of kings, Lord of Lords, The Mighty God, Lion of Judah, Prince of Peace, Lamb of God, who has given Himself for us that all who believe are saved and escape the wrath of God to come. 

Brethren, if any amongst us is impatient and by passed the reading of the preceding posted New Covenant, I pray they will go back and read it. Let’s keep it fresh in our minds and hearts and not let it slip by sloth and/or impatience, knowing God rewards us with PATIENCE for diligently studying and living His word. The gospel sprang out of the New Covenant of Jesus Christ and there could be no gospel at all without it. 

We all must connect, connect, connect to this ABSOLUTE FINISHED New covenant, for it is written to you, me, us- all of us as a whole, AND INDIVIDUALLY AS WELL. Again, this Covenant is absolute, God forbids any plan b‘s, mixed  doctrines, or alternatives to be mixed in or with it. 

God has given us, through Paul a wonderful example of the kind of teacher we should immulate who is humble, a lover of the Lord and the brethren, meticulous, dedicated, relentless, and patient, teaching the truth in love, not looking for perpetual dependent students to glorify himself, but to bring these believers to maturity in the doctrine of Christ, so that they can grow up spiritually to feed themselves with the word of God, and help other believers do the same.

God through Paul the apostle, paints for us an indelible portrait of the Christ. We see our Lord Jesus revealed in His power, His faithfulness as the Son of God, His everlasting love, truth, and mercy.  We also see the Christ in His humanity, His heart, His mind- that greatly wants His creations to return His love, even as the Father desires of us.  

Paul has taught these Hebrew believers much and well. However, the bottom line, dearly beloveds, reverbrating throughout the book of Hebrews and the whole of scripture is this: God is love and only what we do for Him out of love and trust can please Him, nothing else, absolutely nothing else. 

Therefore, God’s commands to His people are not merely a to do list, or stuff to do to be checked off from time to time, but to be lived out of love and trust in Him, this is the heart and core of faith. 

Paul continues to teach these Hebrew believers and us too how God commands us to live in the body, understanding that we are empowered by God through faith in Jesus Christ to lay aside the weight and sin that distracts us and impairs our leading lives pleasing to God; which gives us the understanding that we cannot reason with the dead sin nature, we can only mortify it-put it to death by laying it aside spiritually, mentally and emotionally as God Commands, to please God out of love and trust in Him, rather than displeasing Him by choosing to do our will above His. God has no plan b’s or alternatives to faith that works which is shown by love and trust in Him alone. 

Heb 12:16Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

We know, brothers and sisters, that the Bible has a great deal to say about fornicators. It is clear that God absolutely limits sexual intimacy to be between one biological man and one biological woman within the boundaries of marriage and the Standard of Christ.

This gives us the clear understanding that a fornicator whether a married or single man or woman is someone operating outside of the marital bed. The Bible addresses any unrepentant who rejects church discipline in this matter 1Co 5:11 - But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

Any brother or sister who receives church discipline and repents is to be welcomed back into the church. 

Rom 8:13; Rom 12:1; Col 3:5;  1Co 6:15. Gal 5:24 - And they that are Christ's have crucified the fleshl with the affections and lusts.

Heb 12:16Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

Esau lost the Abrahamic blessing due to the first born which went instead to Jacob. Esau was an unrepentant spiritual fornicator and a profane person who had neither respect for his father nor reverence towards God and the Abrahamic promises.  Nevertheless, Esau did receive certain earthly blessings and had great earthly wealth, which can never be compared to Jacob's eternal heavenly and earthly blessings.

The apostasy of Esau is proven in his selling his birthright and afterwards disobeying his father Isaac and mother by marrying into the enemy tribes of the Hittites and Canaanites, among others whose lands were promised by God to Abraham, ( Gen 15:18-21), which would be seized by the future nation of Israel to come. Later on there would be many instances of his opposing the nation of Israel.

Even after Esau displeased his parents by marrying into peoples whom God called enemies Gen 26:34 -35, he went even further in taking more such wives against the wishes of his parents: Gen 28:8-9.

17For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

Esau was tested, tried, and proven by God to be A SON IN NAME ONLY an example of the unbelieving Jew, and gentile as well. His tears were but a mere reflection of carnal sorrow at the loss of the tremendous earthly wealth and status that the first born was to inherit. Therefore, Esau’s contempt for and scoffing at the value of his birthright was clearly shown by his selling it for a meal. Thereafter, his continued virulent disrespect to his father, impudent irreverence to God in marrying into the foreign nations that were the enemies of God proves him to be an apostate, an unbeliever, a scoffer unfit to inherit the Abrahamic promises, and who would could never be trusted as a  patriarch who would faithfully be an example and carry forth to his children the teachings of the Abrahamic covenant; for a tree is known by its fruit: Heb 6:8. Jesus teaches us all: Mat 7:18 - A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

The message, dearly beloveds, is not that a believer can lose their salvation, but those who lose their salvation never had it in the first place. Neither is the message that a sinner cannot truly repent, for the Bible gives many examples of those who truly repent, a repentance that remains, rooted in a change of mind of those who have begun to abhor their errors and misdeeds, and have determined to enter upon a better course of life, so that it embraces both a recognition of sin and sorrow for it and hearty amendment, the tokens and effects of which are shown in unwavering faith evidenced in obedience with good deeds. God kept the door of His covenant open to welcome any Edomite among others, that would come believing, for He is no respecter of persons.

Paul teaches that the believer is commanded by God to shake off all false notions that the believer is free to live however he or she wants in God’s household, for we are all to live within the Standard and boundaries of the New Covenant of Jesus Christ.

The body of Christ is the people of God of which Christ is the Head. No one can enter into the kingdom of God by any means other than faith in Christ. Neither through institutions, organizations, denominations. God is not against anyone going to schools of so-called “higher” learning, however, no school, no grade point average no matter how “high”, no letters of distinction behind one’s name for free or paid for and/or conferred by men, no philosophy, human intellect, human wisdom, ancestry, race, color, ethnicity, appearance, economic status i.e. rich, poor or in between, nor by philosophy or any works of any kind will gain entry into the body of Christ: Eph 2:8 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 - Not of works, lest any man should boast.

The apostle Paul warns all to be diligent in understanding that God will not force anyone to believe or obey Him. The gospel is never to be taken lightly or with an unrepentant pattern of contempt for the sacred, for God will never compromise nor excuse any who willfully and unrepentantly sells out the gospel of eternal life for temporal gain.

The righteous will understand and receive God’s commands willingly, gladly, but the apostate wicked never will. Nevertheless, we know that God does not want the wicked to perish but that they should turn to Him in faith.

We are all in this together, let us diligently take heed to look out for ourselves, and warn others too that might be tempted that they would repent and come believing and not be lost: who are the unrepentant? Tit 3:10-11; 1Ti 4:1; 1Co 1:18; 1Co 6:9-10; 2Pe 2:22; Rev 9:20 vs Who are the repentant? 1Co 6:11; Gal 6:1; 1Pe 1:5; Jde 1:24; Rev 7:14.

Jhn 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
