REGENERATION IN JESUS CHRIST,
NOT RECOVERY
Brothers and sisters, I
know many amongst us share the heart break of knowing that people are being
deceived that they are saved by someone, in addition to or apart from Jesus
Christ. This is why we keep preaching the truth of scripture in hopes of telling
all the truth that they might believe and be saved. It is possible that there
are some amongst us who peruse the Bible, and Christians posts who are not true
believers, but are solely looking for a quick fix, mantra or technique in
hopes of finding the key to cure or deal with an addiction or some other
problem, and have no interest in salvation.
Brethren, we have to
continually assure all believers, that they can be absolutely confident that they will
receive all the blessings and benefits of God. Conversely, we also have to tell
the truth and explain why no unbeliever will absolutely never receive any
blessings or benefits from God, who have no interests in being saved. I
appreciate your patience in this study with me, brethren, it is not under my
control, but the Holy Spirit through Lord Jesus Christ. I must go as the Lord
leads me in it. We must look at this, before any of God’s instructions can be
given to the Christian looking for help in these matters of sins of the flesh.
Holy people, we know that
God commands that the new covenant of Jesus Christ is to be understood in its
fullest/total sense as absolute, non-negotiable, with absolutely no options,
plan b’s or alternatives, It is an unbreakable eternal covenant or testament-a will:
Mat
26:28 - For this is my blood of the
new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
God the Son Jesus Christ,
Lord and Saviour is the Head of the church (the body of Christ), and the Sole
Appointed Mediator (executor), by God of the new covenant. Again and again the Bible
teaches (Say it aloud brethren) that while the new covenant or testament does
not have conditions it has absolute eternal, unchanging, unbreakable,
exclusive, explicit, exhaustive qualifications regarding all in its standards
and boundaries, that determines who are or not the legitimate heirs. God guarantees
all legitimate heirs in perpetuity all of His blessings and benefits. The
benefits and blessings are not something that the beneficiary or heirs ever have
any right or authority whatsoever from God to distribute or give to anyone they
want. In fact, God forbids this:
Mat
7:6 - Give not that which is holy unto
the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them
under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
Holy people, it is true
that false teachers tell unbelievers that they can give them God’s blessings
and help, they lie, it’s not going to ever happen. God clearly declares to all
false teachers, who unrepentantly pervert the gospel message: Gal
1:8 - But though we, or an angel from heaven,
preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let
him be accursed. 9As we said before, so say I now
again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that
ye have received, let him be accursed. (A thing devoted to God without hope
of being redeemed, and if an animal, to be slain; therefore, a person or thing
doomed to destruction).
Let us tirelessly make it absolutely clear and plain to all
men, dearly beloveds, that God is never passive about protecting His message or
His people. God actively resists and sees all as His enemy who unrepentantly
reject Jesus Christ or pervert the gospel of Jesus Christ.

REGENERATION IN JESUS
CHRIST, NOT RECOVERY
2 Cor 5: 14For the love of Christ
constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all
dead: 15And that he
died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves,
but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
Brothers and sisters, we
know that Christians should feel free and are not barred from seeking medical
help or mental health help whenever they need it; however, that is not the
function of the church. As mentioned in an earlier post, I personally stand as corrected by my brother in
the mental health field, that no brother or sister should have to pay for
counseling on Christian living inside the church: Rom
15:14 - And I myself also am
persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with
all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
Some unbelievers have a
problem with Christians calling certain things sin, and some even boldly intrude and disrupt worship services, accusing
God’s people of being “bigoted” for believing the Bible, and calling the things
that God declares sin as sin. Individually
a Christian might be persecuted for these reasons, or just for being a Christian.
Brothers and sisters, we
know that people, unbelievers too, have a right to their personal opinion, but
they do not have the right to censor Christians, or disrupt worship services,
or interfere with any individuals’ religious rights. We have the right to
worship God, and assemble freely with like minded persons. Christians must not
tolerate the violation of their civil rights, whether as a congregation or as an
individual. God established laws upon
the earth to protect people, and to punish those who would harm others. These
laws are to protect all people, including the Christian. There are many protective
laws for all persons, including Christians, I have cited just a few of them,
but feel free to study further on your own, if you like.
18 U.S. Code § 241 -
Conspiracy against rights
The law provides for a
maximum 10–year prison term, unless death (or attempts to kill) results from
the offense, or unless the offense includes kidnapping or attempted kidnapping,
or aggravated sexual abuse or attempted aggravated sexual abuse. For offenses
not resulting in death, there is a seven–year statute of limitations. For
offenses resulting in death, there is no statute of limitations.
Title 18, U.S.C., Section
241 - Conspiracy Against Rights
This statute makes it
unlawful for two or more persons to conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or
intimidate any person of any state, territory or district in the free exercise
or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him/her by the Constitution
or the laws of the United States, (or because of his/her having exercised the
same).
It further makes it
unlawful for two or more persons to go in disguise on the highway or on the
premises of another with the intent to prevent or hinder his/her free exercise
or enjoyment of any rights so secured.
Punishment varies from a
fine or imprisonment of up to ten years, or both; and if death results, or if
such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse
or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, shall
be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years, or for life, or
may be sentenced to death.
Brothers and sisters,
know your God given rights under the law. These laws protect all people, and Christians
should not hesitate to use them whenever the need arises. Let us stop calling people protesters who harm Christians, they are criminals, who disrupt worship
services and interfere with Christians living freely and in safety and must be held accountable as such.

REGENERATION IN JESUS
CHRIST, NOT RECOVERY
Saints (G40 hagios), this
study started with the dear gentleman who accepted full responsibility for
ruining his own life and was desperate to somehow get his life back, one in
which he would make good decisions and find true peace and happiness. So, it seems this study is coming to an end,
having met several days ago another man. A young Christian man who was seeking
to change his life around and was making great effort in that direction. He had
past problems with an addiction, and was involved with the recovery movement,
and felt it helped him greatly. I am thankful for God allowing me to meet him.
I shared in love and respect with him what God called addiction-SIN. He humbly
agreed, and we parted not long after with the light of truth shining from his
eyes.
In
examination of the so-called recovery movement, brethren, the inescapable
conclusion in the truth is that the so-called recovery movement is a very dangerous
false doctrine that wrongly teaches the so-called addicts that they are
helpless victims of their own lusts and cravings. They are all taught that the
problem and its solution is always something or even someone outside of themselves.
This dangerous recovery doctrine is being freely and carelessly applied to
sexual addictions among others, and that such persons bear no responsibility or
accountability for their addiction, misdeeds, harms and damages they cause to
themselves or others.
The recovery movement keeps
people in bondage to sin. They have no incentive to participate in doing the
work of helping themselves, but are focused on looking to solutions outside of
themselves based on removing all the external things or temptations, rather
than building up internal refusal skills, to their own internal cravings and
lusts, as it is impossible to remove all
external things that might tempt anyone. Brothers and sisters, raise your hand if
you see the problem in teaching these lies to anyone or the impact, they may
have on persons who might not be mentally stable
Dearly beloveds, it would
be laughable were it not so tragic. If drug addiction is a medical problem, it
is the only one in which the patient has to go out, procure and ingest the substance
in order to produce the symptoms of the disease.
Brothers and sisters,
thankfully, many pastors refuse to continue to be enablers to so called addicts,
and are calling addiction what it is- sin. Many are shutting down these
dangerous so-called recovery groups in their churches to rightfully and
lovingly bring them into the church, Bible studies, and fellowship with other
believers where they can over time get help, hear the truth, learn, and obey
the teachings of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and learn to crucify the
flesh as He has instructed and empowered us all. The loving disciplinary hand
of the Lord is always in the midst overseeing His flock: Heb 12: 5-11.

REGENERATION IN JESUS
CHRIST, NOT RECOVERY
Dearly beloveds, I am
thankful for each and every one of you, and my prayers and thoughts are on you
that you would see Jesus every time you visit here, and love Him more and more.
It is Jesus, who loved us when we were still sinners. It is Jesus who loves us,
died for us, gave up Himself for us, saved us-forgave all of our sins, made us
children of God, so that we would not have to die and be forever condemned to
everlasting death and eternal punishment in the lake of fire with the devil,
his angels, and all wicked persons.
Holy brethren, this is
the heart of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for the whole world, let each and
every one of us take the whole gospel message out, whether people are offended
or not this is the message and it must be given in whole, it must never be
sugar coated, because it shows that anyone doing this lacks faith or in error think
that they know better than God on how to save people.
Holy people, God forbids anyone
and everyone to take away or add to His words: Rev 22:19 - And
if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this
prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life,
and out of the holy city, and from the things which
are written in this book.

REGENERATION IN JESUS CHRIST, NOT RECOVERY
ESV Mt 11: 27All things have been handed
over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one
knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal
him. 28Come to me, all
who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and
learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for
your souls. 30For my yoke
is easy, and my burden is light.”
Brethren, we know without
a doubt that according to His word, God has turned everything over to His Son Jesus
Christ, no one can ever receive anything from God except through faith in Lord Jesus.
Jesus is calling everyone, the REGARDLESS OF COLOR, OR FINANCIAL STATUS, out of every nation and tongue to
Himself, personally. Lord Jesus does not have any agenda other than to carry out the inexorable, indomitable, will of our Father, and to serve and
please His Father and ours in all things, this is true meekness and humility.
Jesus is utterly,
eternally trust worthy, incapable of lying, deception, or error. He continually calls the sinners, weary and
burdened with the sorrows and sins of this life to come and finally find the
rest that only He can give. He calls those whom He has made His own to rest in His eternal love and truth.
Jesus calls all urgently to come to Him and
take His yoke, stop trying to live life our own way, it wont work. Under the gentle,
but sure hand guidance of the Owner, the oxen can plough straight and the field
will be properly plowed so that what is planted in it will have optimally
prepared soil that will be beneficial to Himself, and the dray animal will be properly
fed from its well prepared produce.
Our relationship to Lord Jesus
is deeply intimate, personal, and of an unbreakable bond: Heb 13: 5
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things
as you have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
When people seek a clinician’s help, a really
good helper will take a comprehensive psycho social, medical history,
diagnostic intake interview/diagnostic assessment, diagnoses and with the
person put forth a tentative treatment plan. The helper will try to gage the
persons weakness, strengths, insights and willingness to do the work of dealing
with their issues, in hopes of helping the person overcome problems and gain
skills in problem solving.
However, dearly beloveds,
we know that our Lord Jesus Christ goes far deeper, than that. He knows exactly
who we are- the secret man of the heart, the good, bad and ughly too, who we are in private and public, all
of our interactions in all relations, and self-deceptions, our true character,
conduct, manner of living, even our thoughts and intentions. Jesus know more about us than we know about ourselves. He purposely came in
human form to save us from all sins and so that He could experience and understand, without
ever sinning, what people go through and suffer so that He would know how to
help them to the uttermost.
Then, holy people,
sometimes things go so wrong that we ourselves feel helpless, and don’t even know or see how
to even pray about our needs, so Jesus put another helper in us, besides Himself and God, the Holy Spirit:
Rom 8:26 - Likewise
the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray
for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with
groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 and he that searcheth
the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he
maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Jesus Christ, our
Shepherd knows our names. In fact, He knows the name of every believer. There is nothing impersonal or distant in His relationship to all of His people.
Jhn 10:3 - To
him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his
own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
The sheep are not left
running wild, they are always guarded and tended, protected. They are never to
leave the fold unless He calls and leads them out. In this sense, holy people, Jesus
only and always calls His people us out within His absolute standard and boundaries as
set within the new testament, which is written in His own sinless blood. 1 Corinthians 7:23.
Jesus Christ is the good
Shepherd: Jhn 10:14 - I
am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. Jesus will teach, guide, instruct and over the
course of time ensure that we know Him, for He surely knows His own.
Struggle, surrender, what
does it all mean? Old nature new nature, what is the answer? Why do we struggle
so with temptations, and why is it so hard? God says he will make a way of
escape: 1Co
10:13 - There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common
to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be
tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way
to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. HOW DO WE ESCAPE? Yes we can escape!

REGENERATION IN JESUS
CHRIST, NOT RECOVERY
From generation to
generation, Lord Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd, watches over and protects His
flock. By His absolute power, He perpetually preserves His people and His
gospel, bringing many sons and daughters to God through faith in His name.
Thanks, blessings and all praises to our
great Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who has given us the privilege, right,
command and delight to fellowship with Him and one another. The journey in
righteousness, holy people, we understand by the word of God, starts in believing,
trusting and placing our faith in the love and truth of the Lord as laid out in
scripture, (Tit
3:5). We are saved instantly by faith, faith in Lord Jesus Christ. However,
although we are saved, we arrive in Christ unlearned, babes in faith and don’t
always understand or recognize that some aspect of our lives contradict
scripture and therefore must be laid aside to practice and our trust put in
God’s word.
It is in family with our Christian
brothers and sisters that our interactions reveal the good, the bad and the ugly
in our conscience, character, conversation, conduct-manner of living both
privately and publicly. What we know about ourselves, and others know about us,
what others know about us that we don’t know, what we know about ourselves and
others don’t know. what no one knows about us and we don’t know either, through
the eyes of our Lord and Saviour who indwells us all is completely known and
transparent, as nothing can be hidden from Him, not even our thoughts,
intentions, and hidden things of the heart.
Initially, baby Christians
are puzzled as to why their consciences bother them in things that used to seem
enjoyable, and have questions and problems in understanding this new life, and
leaving the old behind. These issues too are cleared up, over time, under guidance
of servant leaders, the body general, Bible study- through the word and most importantly
Lord Jesus Christ himself, whose spirit resides in all believers as well as the
Holy Spirit and God Himself. In this way all Christians grow to maturity,
practice righteousness, and become stable and rooted in Jesus Christ fully revealed
in the new testament, who is confirmed in the whole of scripture and settled
for all eternity.
Heb 9:15 - And
for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of
death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under
the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of
eternal inheritance.
Dearly beloveds, all that
pertains to God’s will, regarding His eternal salvation, eternal blessings, eternal
life with God for the righteous, and all that pertains to God’s will regarding
His eternal wrath, eternal death, eternal, curses, eternal condemnation and
eternal punishment for the wicked, is held and understood absolutely within the
unchanging standard and boundaries of the new testament. What this means is
that all of the eternal blessings of God are absolutely, exclusively,
explicitly, exhaustively given only the righteous; those who are saved through
faith in Lord Jesus who gives them eternal life and eternal inheritance in the
kingdom of God. The Bible sums it up this way:
Jhn 3:36 - He
that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not
the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
This means that people who
unrepentantly reject Jesus Christ or claim in error that something outside or
in addition to the new testament or even that the new testament is not
necessary for salvation are forever rejected by God and receive absolutely none
of His blessings or benefits. Instead, all such receive God’s wrath,
condemnation, curses, eternal punishment and eternal death.
Again, we know brethren,
people come and or are sent to the church for merely recovery or looking for
the blessings or for some other reason, outside of scripture. It behooves us to
tell everyone the whole truth of the new covenant. Again, and again, we know
that the righteous will receive correction and gladly receive the gospel
message, those who unrepentantly reject it are condemned of God and forever
have no part in this ministry.
It cannot be said often
enough, brethren, that God commands us to teach and proclaim to everyone the
truth in love that the church is not a building, or merely gathering together
with other people. The church is a spiritual building of all believers, and there
is only One through whom entry can be gained: Act 4:12 - Neither
is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under
heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Brothers and sisters, we
know that no one can fool God, those who think they can are deceived: 2Ti 2:19 - Nevertheless
the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his.
And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from
iniquity. Love serola

REGENERATION THROUGH JESUS CHRIST,
NOT RECOVERY
God wrote the Bible, brethren, and gave it to holy men to write
down through the Holy Spirit: 2Pe 1:21 - For
the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God
spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
After believers are saved, God commands
all to study the word of God so that we can grow in our faith, spiritual
stability, and show forth by consistent practice in our private and public
lives that we truly belong to God.
Brothers and sisters, we know that
God through faith in Jesus Christ seals all believers with the Holy Spirit who
teaches us and empowers us to understand the scriptures. The Bible explains
scripture; proves scripture within the context of scripture. The Bible has only
one inerrant correct interpretation. The Bible by the Holy Spirit, teaches its
doctrine. The Bible reproves and rebukes. The Bible corrects. The Bible equips
all believers and prepares them for every good work, because the Bible is the
living word of God.
The Bible, brethren, we know will not
read itself, God commands all of us to pick it up eagerly, out of love for our Saviour
to make it our consistent aim to be in a state of readiness and to grow and
rest in the eternal truth of the Lord. 1Pe 3:15 But sanctify the
Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an
answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
1Th 5:17 - Pray without ceasing.
