SCRIPTURAL BASICS OF THE GOSPEL PART 2
Thank you Lord Jesus for all you have done for us. You have been kind, you have been gracious, you have been better to us than we have been to ourselves, and you will always continue to do so, for you are faithful and you are love. Help us Lord to trust and obey you, for all that you desire for us is good. Therefore Lord, help us, strengthen us, teach us to rejoice in your love always, for you alone know the times that we have failed, is when we trusted our will over yours, dear Lord. We praise you Lord for your abundant pardon, guidance, discipline and care to always bring us back to you the Bishop and Captain of our souls, even the Head and the Keeper of the church, the flock of God. My beloveds, let us look at these verses of the Holy Bible. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is I heaven Matt 7:21 (KJV) Mt 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Mt 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. In these profound verses, the Lord makes it abundantly clear that merely sounding religious, or just the use of pious language will not gain anyone entry into His kingdom. Only those who believe His message and lovingly obey His will have a personal relationship with Him and will enter in. Again Jesus warns that those who pridefully credit/attribute the gifts and workings of the Holy Spirit to themselves, and think that they are doing God a favor by putting His name on it will find themselves totally unknown, and made to depart from Him because of their iniquity. I like what so many of the saints here have often said, that God does not need us, but we ought to be grateful that He lovingly empowers and grants us the right to participate in His work. Sadly today, little children of God, in the secular world there is a lot of interest in “spiritual” things, supposing that what ever one believes is “good” is acceptable with God. You find some in secular society claiming they are doing God’s work by performing exorcisms, contacting the dead claiming to get messages for the living, and basically attempting to conform the Holy Bible to man’s ( or woman’s} personal opinion about what is right or wrong. But our Lord speaks better things of His saints: 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 1 Cor 2:12-13 (KJV) Although our Lord provides many sources through which to teach us, every last one of them is from the Holy Ghost. So while we are certainly thankful for His provision of teachers, to God alone belongs the honor , glory and praise. But as for the so called spirituality of the secular world, the scriptures declares: 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Cor 2:14(KJV) My underline not the scriptures. Holy Bible basics: what we believe. The scriptures, both Old and New testaments are the inspired word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men and the Divine final authority for the Christian faith and life. The Holy Bible proclaims one God, creator of all things, infinitely, totally and wholly perfect, eternally existing in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins, according to the scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven where at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and advocate over the house of God forever. Man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and is therefore, lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can true salvation and spiritual life be obtained. Only the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His Resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and , thus become children of God. That the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and , during this age, to convict men, regenerate the believing sinner, and indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service. We will stop here for now, dear saints. I pray that each and every child of the king will enter into His rest, laying aside our own attempts at human righteousness, and taking on the rest that only flows from trusting in the finished work of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Peace to you, dear saints, and overflowing joy in God our hope, our strength, our life and only truth. Until next time if the Lord will. Love serola 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Heb 4:10 (KJV)

SCRIPTUAL BASICS OF THE GOSPEL
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Heb 5:12-14 (KJV) 1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this will we do, if God permit. Heb 6:1-3 (KJV) Beloved children of light, as it was then so it continues to be, all Christians are expected to learn the basics of the Christian faith and continue to grow from there. We can count on our God to teach us in various ways, and at a level that we can grasp, understand and apply God’s word. But we should not resist learning the basic, plain and simple truths of the scriptures such as baptisms (the baptism of John, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit).; The magnitude of faith vs. the foolishness of trying to be saved by good works, spiritual gifts, the truth of the resurrection and eternal life. God’s purpose is that we move on to maturation in knowing our Lord, while retaining the basic teachings, to a more complete understanding of the faith. We must teach new Christians the basics and continue to mature ourselves, a cycle that all Christians can follow. We must never stubbornly resist God’s truth for our own particular opinions. God’s word is never subject to men, women, institutions, governments nor any other thing. His word must be our final truth and it must supercede our own particular leanings that conflict with His word. Study and practice of God’s word will ultimately enable us to tell the difference between correct use of scripture and a mistaken one. 13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13 (KJV) These rulers, scribes and chief priests of the day believed that they alone possessed true knowledge, and everyone who did not go to their school just had to be “unlearned”. True Peter and John had not gone to their schools, did not belong to their clique, but Peter and John had been with Jesus. Through Jesus they expounded the word of God that could not be refuted. Nevertheless these religious men of the day resisted the gospel and decided to resist God’s word, much more preferring their own doctrines of men. So it is no surprise, that some today resist God’s teachings in deference to the teachings of mere men (this includes women too). But you, holy children continue to cling to the truth of the Holy Bible in which you will remain stable, and unshaken in this present darkness, of which Jesus Christ is our only truth and light. Lord willing the study will be continued. Love (agape) Serola 8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. 9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee. Psalms 32:8-9 (KJV)

THE FINAL ANSWER PART 5
10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 1 Cor 1:10 (KJV) Praise our God for He is ever and always faithful. He alone is worthy of all exaltation, and His name alone is worthy of our worship and praise. Let us ever seek to exalt Him above all and put Him first in all things. Dear children of light, let us meditate on our Lord’s scriptures to seek to know, love and obey Him more and more. He is coming soon, let Him find us faithful to obey and live His word among the saints and in this present darkness. He alone will give us the true light to live day by day. Again, brothers and sisters, there are those who love the Lord, but due to misunderstanding the scriptures do err; such as those Christians who think they have to become Jews too and follow Jewish tradition. They are easy to spot, because some of them like to name their churches with Jewish sounding names such as “shalom tabernacle” or “Beth- Israel temple of Christ.” Although they recognize and believe in Jesus as the sole Saviour, they add human traditions, the law and rites from the old testament. Probably the biggest misunderstanding they have is that Christians have not only become Jews, but have replaced the Jews. They fail to understand the unique role chosen for the Jewish peoples in scriptures, by whom He offered salvation to all peoples. Nevertheless all believers are made one in Christ. 1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? 2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. Romans 3:1-2 (KJV) 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 1 Cor 12:12-13 (KJV) See the whole chapter of Romans 11 that answers the question: has God cast off the Jews? We do not lose our unique individuality when we become Christians, Christ’s blood unites us all as one. There is no condemnation to God’s people. There is nothing wrong in having personal preferences that we enjoy, but we must NEVER add it to the Holy Bible, or set it as a standard over God’s word, or allow it to create divisions in the body, nor devalue some saints or exalt others because of it. Beloveds, Paul the apostle was a very learned man in his former life as a Pharisee. He exceeded many in scholarship of the law, among Jews; but what did he say about this? 7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10 Phil 3:7-10 (KJV) Only through careful study of God’s word will we avoid the aforementioned problems. We know from the Holy Bible that Christians believe inwardly and outwardly that solely through Jesus’ finished work has God offered forgiveness and eternal life as a gift, not earned merit, to them who believe on His name by faith. In gratitude for what He has done we seek to live a life of grateful obedience for what God has done for us-and that by the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. We must check out what we believe against the Holy Bible. Jesus is coming back, I pray He will find us faithful to Him. I pray that He will help us to obey Him, and exalt His word as the only truth, the sole truth and final standard for the whole earth. The whole earth is, and will be accountable to Him, for surely as He has said: 11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Romans 14:11-12 (KJV) 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Phil 2:10-11 (KJV) I pray that every dear child of the King, will lay aside every contradiction to God’s word, and come naked before our God. I do not mean without garments, but with humility knowing that nothing we have outside of what He has given us has any eternal value in His sight. Little children, if we have anything to boast in it is of our great God alone, and no works of our own, for even in that He has enabled us to both will and to do. May the peace of God dwell in you and me richly. Love Serola 2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matt 18:2-4 (KJV)

THE FINAL ANSWER PART 4
Praise the Lord for His abundant life, mercy and love. He will abundantly pardon, and has great patience towards us His children. He is awesome in power, strength, and majesty. He alone is the true and eternal God. He is our hope, peace, light, life, joy, absolute truth, and power to live each day. He is blessed above all His creations. Let us in word and deed continually pour out our worship, and adoration to Him alone. For He alone is worthy. As we have done before. we will continue to look at those whom I believe love the Lord, but because of ignorance and/or misinterpretation of scriptures add and/or subtract from the scriptures resulting in much suffering and harm to themselves and the body. I think we can easily see, Children of light, that when we add our personal preferences, opinions, emotions or traditions as the standard for God’s people and ourselves we take away from God’s word. Holy brothers and sisters we all must learn and correctly interpret the basics of the scriptures and continue to grow from there. We want to learn and grow in God’s word, not to become biblical intellectuals, gurus, scholars, or theologians, but because we love our Lord and want to please Him, know Him, and how He wants us to live out His word in our everyday lives; as well as to share this message with others. There is no one set way to learn the scriptures, the most important thing is that the Holy Spirit will help us to find the way that is most helpful to us. I confidently assure you, that the Holy Bible is easy to understand, never contradicts itself and has absolutely no gray areas, can interpret itself through itself. Until the day our Lord Jesus returns we shall all be maturing and growing more and more through our Lord’s word. The Holy Bible tells us the main reasons why we study God’s word. See Ephesians 4 whole chapter. Here we find Jesus giving various gifts to the church through the Holy Spirit in the form of apostles, prophets, teachers, pastors, evangelists for the purpose of perfecting the saints, work of the ministry, edifying the body of Christ, until we all come into the unity-as one new man, all speaking the same thing. Why must we all speak the same thing? To be safe from false doctrine, trickery and deception of men; all of us speaking the truth in love, grow up in the fullness and knowledge of Him, all of us working together to this end-love. Chapters 12-14 of I Corinthians goes into detail how every one of us receives gifts and empowerment through the Holy Spirit to build up the church to this end. Every saint is equal and important to the body, and is equipped to build up the body.
English Words used in KJV: perfecting 1 [Total Count: 1] from <G2675> (katartizo); complete furnishing (object) :- perfecting —Strong's Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary Now, dearly beloveds, lets take a look at “legalists” those who love the Lord, but believe that only through a long list of do’s and don’ts can we gain God’s favor. They want believers to change so badly that they continually point out past sins, how believers always fall short, rather than how far we have come because of what Jesus has done for us. There is little recognition of the new creature in Christ Jesus, resulting in works or performance based ministry, rather than a relational one with our Lord, leaving the members feeling guilty, inadequate, joyless, and discouraged, and filled with self loathing. Unfortunately they fail to understand that salvation is never based upon our ability to live up to God’s standard, for no one can, but must be received as a gift made possible only through the finished work of the Lord Jesus. They basically change the good news into terrible news that a believer has to earn God’s love through obeying their set of rules, rather than accepting the free gift of His love by faith. I will stop here for now, and God willing we will continue next time. Love serola 1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. Psalms 127:1 (KJV) Usage Notes: Perfecting
