Another Comforter
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever. John 14:16.......When the disciples were confused about Jesus departure and needed reassurance, Jesus promised when He left He would send a Comforter who would be with them always. How great to know that the Holy Spirit dwells in our hearts to bring comfort and reassurance to each of Gods children. No matter what problem we face today, whether it is the loss of a loved one, sickness, a family problem, or just loneliness, We know that Gods Spirit who came to dwell with us in our new birth will offer solace. We are not alone. We can call upon the Comforter.

A REFUGE FOR OPPRESSED PEOPLE
The Lord will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Psalm 9:9.....When we are troubled and everyone is from time to time, if we would just keep in mind that as Christians, bought with the blood of Christ, we know that God loves us. But sometimes we take him for granted, and think its His obligation to love us. We sometimes depend on other people instead of God; but they are not perfect and will sometimes let us down. God is the Only one in whom we can fully trust and find refuge. He is a safe house for the weary and worn, and He never abandons His own.

Socrates said the unexamined life is not worth living. Christians however, do not pursue philosophical inquiry for its own sake but because we believe our primary purpose in life is to glorify God. Nevertheless, being Christians should make us more willing, not less willing to ask probing questions and to seek out core truths that govern life. The atheist----the person believing all of life is governed by chance and no transcedent life exsists---is best suited to pursue an an examined life devoted merely to gratifying ones personal wants and needs. Christians should instinctively pursue understanding and godly wisdom because Christians believe these things are real. ''The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge'' [Prov. 1:7] and those who fear God should be on a quest for the truth.

Generous Hearts
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things in common. Acts 4:32. The greatest thing that they had in common, they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. And had love for Jesus and each other. What a great time that must have been. And it is going to happen again soon, when Jesus comes back to gather His own. What a great time it will be.

Holy Day
So the heavens and the earth and everything in them were completed. 2 By the seventh day, God completed His work that he had done, and rested on the seventh day from all His work that He had done. 3 God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, for on it He rested from His work of creation. Gen. 2: 1-3......... While most people think of Sunday as the seventh day, some do not. What ever day you consider the holy day or the day God rested. Make it a special day of worshiping God and praise Him for the sacrifice of His Son for all that believe should not perish but have everlasting life. ''Have A Great Day In The LORD''

TRUST IN THE LORD
3-Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.4-Delight thyself also in the LORD and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalm 37:3-4. If we will put our trust in the Lord just think what blessings are in store for all who believe, and have faith. We say we have trust and faith, but do we really really believe. We need to pray to be stronger in our faith and trust.. I for one am lacking in enough trust and faith.

Gods Daily Provisions
Wherefore, if God so cloth the grass of the field, which today is and tommorow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more cloth you, O ye of little faith Matthew 6:30.......Jesus pointed out that our Heavenly Father, the Creator and Sustainer of all life, cares about us. He longs to bless us with the many gifts from His everlasting supply. Our worry for the very things He promises to provide clouds our hearts with doubt and blocks His deepest blessings for our lives. We need to take time to notice all the good gifts from God in our lives. Thank Him for food, water, shelter, safety, and the love of family and friends. But most of all thank Him for the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

LOST
We just had a harrowing experiance. My three nephews ages 14 13 and 7 and one of their friends decided they would take their dogs back in the woods for a while and yes they got lost.so we called 911 and the fire dept and the sheriff dept all came out here to seach for them. Thank God for cell phones the fire dept chief who is a cousin to them talked them out of the woods and they were alright. Praise the Lord. This reminded me of a verse in John 10:27- My sheep here my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.. We are like the boys lost in the woods. We hear the voice of God speaking from his word or from the Holy Spirits witness in our hearts. If we listen carefully, He will lead us out of our confusion and fears. When we loose our way or become confused we need to listen to the voice of God. He will guide us home. <Blessings>

SING OF HIS POWER
16- But I will sing of thy power; yea. I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble. 17- Unto thee. O my strength will I sing for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy. Psalm 59:-16-17........We are having a Gospel music concert at our church tommorow eve. The Boatwrights will perform. Worship The Lord Thy God
Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Luke 4:8 We are to worship our Lord and savior Jesus Christ above all things. We are to out God before all the worldly possesions that we may have. We need not make idols out of the things of the world.Love and understanding and the willingness to help one another. These are the things that we, as a child of God should focsus on. These are also the things that make God smile on us...And the Lord appeared to him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abrahams sake. Genesis 26:24 <Blesssings>

NEW LIFE IN CHRIST
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. Galations 20:2 ....Paul a strict legalist who persecuted Christians, was completely transformed when he met Jesus. He was so commited in his faith to Jesus that he felt compelled to write, I am crucified with Christ..Christ liveth in me. In Romans 6:6 Paul eplains further, Knowing this , that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. So when the spirit dwells within us we then have Gods help in living by faith in the Son. I thank God that Christ lives in me. Blessings

Touch Me Not
Jesus said unto her . Touch me not; for Iam not yet aasscended to my Father; but go to my brethren, and say unto them. I ascend unto my Father, and your Father, and to my God, and your God. John 20:17.... When Mary first saw Jesus after His death, she joyfully and worshipfully held on to Him. But Jesus said to her, Touch me not. He then told her He had not yet ascended to the Father''and I am ascending to my Father'' So rather than Mary continueing to to cling to Him, Jesus wanted her to share the good news of His resurrection and coming ascension with His disciples. He also wanted her to understand the way she must now begin relating to Him. Marys future relationship would not be physical, such as touching and seeing because Jesus would be gone from earth. From now on, Mary had to relate to her Lord in faith and without Jesus' physical presence visible to her. Have a Blessed and Joyus Easter.

A New People
46- Then Paul and Barabas boldly said : It was necessary that Gods message be spoken to you first. But since you reject it, and consider yourselves unworthy of eternal life, We now turn to the Gentiles! 47- For this is what the Lord has commanded us I have Appointed you as a light for the Gentiles, to bring Salvation to the ends of the earth. Acts 13:46-47...Except that the Jews would not except Jesus and His Gospel we as Gentiles may have never had the opportunity to be saved. But God knew this would happen. And made a way that all who would believe in Jesus could be saved. John 3:16. For God so loved the world. That he gave his only begotten Son , that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. The word whosoever is the key in this verse, which means any and everyone. [Blessings]

GOD PROVIDES FOR US
And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna ; for they wist [knew] not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat. Exodus 16:15...God chooses the exact times and places necessary to meet our needs. When we encounter hardships and difficulties, we shouild just consider them as great opportunites to grow in faith. As God showed the Israelites His power and readiness to meet their needs. We shouild look on the bright side of life. And not doubt Gods power to always take care of our needs as well. Blessings
