WHAT A DAY

What a day that will be, a line from a old hymn. I love that line. Jesus said in John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God believe also in me. 2 In my Fathers house are many mansions if it were not so. I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. What a promise' What a day that will be' Praise His Holy Name.  I hope everyone has a blessed day of worship, not only Sundays. But every day'. In Jesus name.  Amen

PLEASENT WORDS

Words,  there two kinds, pleasent words and bad words. If we meet some one on the street or shopping or where ever we might be. We can do one or two things. we can say a pleasent good day how are you? or we can mutter I wish you would get out of my way, Im in a hurry. Sometimes we just don't slow down and think. A pleasent word or two might mean a lot to someone who is feeling poorly or is having a bad day. I have found that most people respond to pleasent words with a smile back and respond with a smile and answer. The Bible teaches us to let our light shine through Jesus, and this is just one more way to show the love Jesus has for all His children.  Psalms 16:24 Pleasent words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul and health to the bones.   Amen

MAYBE NEXT SUNDAY

Well here it is coming up on another sunday. What shall I do? hmmm'  I could go shopping or maybe just stay home and relax after all it is a day of rest, or maybe  just play some games on the computer.or maybe watch some sports on tv. A friend ask me to come to church , but I don't have to go to church theres all kind of preaching on tv. of course I don't usally get up in time to watch it  anyway, besides who cares about that religous stuff anyway. Maybe I will some day but I don't have time right now Im just not ready, to give up my partying and things I like to do. Maybe next Sunday.    Psalm 31:30 In thee O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed; deliver me in thy righteouness. As for me I will go to church and worship the Lord.

BELIEVE

When we truly believe. Paul teaches in Romans10:13 For whosoever shall call the name of the Lord shall be saved. then in verse 14 he says How then they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard?  And how shall they hear without a preacher.And then hear is the kicker verse15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written . How beautiful are the feet of them that preach gospel of peace. and bring glad tidings of good things. then over in 17 So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. So if we call on Him then surely we must truly believe. I am so glad I have the word of our Lord Jesus, and have Him to call on.   Amen

MOTHERS DAY

I feel so blessed that I got to spend another mothers day with my mom she is 82 yrs old and not in to good health. But I praise the Lord that she is still with me. Because so many have lost their mothers.And  mothers day brings back a lot of memorys, But as I try to do on fathers day. we should focus on the good times and memorys we have, and look foward to seeing them again some day. as Jesus promised that we would. Jesus said I go to prepare a place for you. Isn't that wonderful. Im not going to give the scripture for this I think we all know  How wonderful the love of Jesus is Amen? May Gods spirit be with all.

CONFIDENCE IN CHRIST

It is so great to know that as long as we have confidence in Jesus Christ that one day we will be called up in to heaven to stand by his side and witness all his glory and dwell with him for ever and ever.   II Corinthians-5:5-9 Now he that hath wrought us for the self same thing is God. who also hath given unto us the earnest of the spirit. 6 Therefore we are always confident. knowing that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith not by sight. 8 We are confident, I say and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9 Wherefore we labor that, Whether present or absent. We may be accepted of him.  I am glad to have that confidence to know that some day He will come back and claim his children, which I am glad to be called one of his, a child of God. Praise His Holy Name   Amen'

ETERNAL SALVATION

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in  Christ Jesus. who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit. The key word here is now meaning when you have been saved. Now get this John 10:27-30 tells us this. 27 My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me. 28 And I give unto them eternal life: and they shall never perish neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. The key words here are never perish, meaning for eternity. Think of it like this draw a straight line what do you have? The line is  forever but if you skip places when you draw the line where does it go? nowhere . verse 29-  My Father which gave them me, is greater than all and no man is able to pluck them out of my Fathers hand. The key words here are   gave them me meaning eternal salvation.30 I and my Father are one. Jesus did not say that you would be saved for a little while then if you sinned, that was it you were condemned. But everyone would be judged by the deeds they do, or don't do. Jesus promised eternal salvation. and I believe that is just exactly what He meant.           I hope every one has a blessed day of worship tommorow, the Lords day. John 12:23 And Jesus  answered them.saying the hour is come that the son of man should be glorifed.

GODS LOVE

It is great to know that Gods love for us is everlasting, and that He loves us no matter what we have done ,or what kind of person we were ,He loves us just as we are, and that once we are saved , by the grace and blood of Jesus Christ; we are his children forever. 1John 4:16-19-  And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God and God in him.17- Herin is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement: because as he is, so are we in the world.-18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.19- We love him because he first loved us.   It is just great to know how much God loves us.  Praise His Holy Name.
