United With Christ

Believers are united with Christ; we share in His death, the fulness of His life, and one day will share in His glory. We must remember this amazing reality and recognize who we are and whose we are. Thus when the world grips us with its allurements, God calls us to remember the One who reigns on high and truly holds life that we can and do possess.

God Knows Your Name

Today very few people knows your name . Your bank account might be unimpressive. In the eyes of the world you boast very little power. In the echelons of government your authority would only take you to the outer gates of the white house. But if you are a born again believer , the Creator of the universe knows you by name. If you are in Christ, hold on through hardships. Be obedient to His commands. Remain faithful to His name. Stand strong in the face of persecution  Jesus supplies strength to the weary, He gives grace to the obedient. He rewards the faithful. He opens the door and welcomes home His own.

 I know your works. Because you have limited strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name, look, I have placed before you an open door that no one is able to close. Revelation 3:8 HCSB

A Clear Conscience

Have you ever asked yourself the question, “Why is there some things I do and other things that I don’t do?” As Paul reminded Timothy, as Christians we have a great responsibility for what we do and what we don’t do, as it relates to our relationship with Christ Jesus and those around us. Knowing Christ Jesus as Savior places on us the responsibility to model the Lords goodness before others. Christians need to care for one another and those who are lost. Holding the mystery of faith also means sharing it with others , in word and deed.

Amazing Truths

One of the most amazing truths that you will ever encounter in the Bible is the truth that God invites people to come to Him. Of course, He has to make the first move. Man is a sinner and his sinful condition has left him spiritually dead,  Man cannot make an independent move toward God. God takes the initiative and He reaches out in love, grace and mercy to call lost sinners to Himself.

His Holy Reverence

The love of the Son was primarily His love to the Father; it was His holy reverence for His Father’s will that He “…became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.” Jesus died in obedience to God, the Father; it was the Father who gave His Son! 

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
