Personal Care
God is our supreme personal care provider. He takes us as we are
and makes something attractive out of us. God removes the ugliness of
sin and cleanses our hearts. He covers our self conceived inadequacies
and conditions us for service. He provides for our hurts and
disappointments, our anxieties, and our grief. God transforms our
timidity, apathy, and reluctance into something useful for His Kingdom.
The next time your life is in disarray and you are burdened down, turn
to our heavenly Father for His special care.
1 Peter 5:7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. NKJV

Be Content
I heard about a man that when he seen a car or something he really
liked although he never coveted it, he would always say I wish I had
that man’s car, or whatever it was he really liked, and he had a
better one. One of today’s curses is the desire for something we did not
earn. According to the Bible the neighborly attitude, however, demands
that we be content with what we possess and to share what we have with
others. We know it all belongs to God anyway, and He will supply our
needs.
Exodus 20:17 Do not covet your neighbor’s house. Do not covet your
neighbor’s wife, his male or female slave, his ox or donkey, or anything
that belongs to your neighbor. HCSB

24/7
When we serve Jesus it is a 24/7 calling. Glorifying God is not
just something we do on Sunday. It is something we should do every day
and in every way. How we speak to a waitress or how we treat our mates.
There are almost 4.1 billion unreached people groups of the world. Let
us as Christians glorify God by reaching out and praying for them.
1 Corinthians 10:31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. ESV

What Really Matters
To fear God and keep His commandments is not a recipe for legalism;
rather, it is an invitation to live faithfully, offering adoration and
worship to Him. Life’s meaning is wrapped up in the worship of God and a
life lived with regard for His commands. What really matters in life?
Worship [fear] the one true God in obedience.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
KJV

Reign of Peace
The meek Christ came. His strength the true–A heart of love His
panoply. At His command men found their life, The cities flourished,
nations grew. As heritage, the reign of peace He gives; He came, He
loved, He pitied—And He lives.
Thomas Curtis Clark Psalm 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. [KJV]

Jesus Only
Who is Jesus to you? Is He only one of many answers to life’s
problems? Is He one possible way to heaven? Or is He your Savior, your
Lord, Friend, Guide, Comforter, source of Peace? Is He all you need and
more?
Matthew 17:8 When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only. NKJV

Most Important
What is the most important thing in your life? Your family, wealth,
job, sports,. There are lots of things that may be important to us.
But the most important of all should be our relationship with the Lord
Jesus Christ. When we put Jesus first in our lives we will find out
that everything else will become a lot easier. What is more important
to you?
Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in
him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my
song will I praise him. [KJV]

New Life
The new life Jesus offers cannot be contained in a heart that
continues to practice old traditions. The Christian life is not a new
habit added to an old lifestyle, but a completely new life that wasn’t
there before.
Matthew 9:17 And no one puts[a] new wine into old wineskins.
Otherwise, the skins burst, the wine spills out, and the skins are
ruined. But they put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are
preserved.” [HCSB]
