Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2 NKJV

    Dancing With God.

    Dancing With God
When I meditated on the word Guidance,
I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word.
I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.
The movement doesn't flow with the music,
and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.
When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead,
both bodies begin to flow with the music.

One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
or by pressing Lightly in one direction or another.
It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.
    The dance takes surrender, willingness,
    and attentiveness from one person
and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word Guidance.
When I saw "G": I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i".

    "God, "u" and "i" dance."
    God, you, and I dance.
As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust
that I would get guidance about my life.
Once again, I became willing to let God lead.
My prayer for you today is that God's blessings
and mercies are upon you on this day and everyday.
May you abide in God, as God abides in you.
Dance together with God, trusting God to lead
and to guide you through each season of your life.

This prayer is powerful and there is nothing attached.
If God has done anything for you in your life,
please share this message with someone else.
    There is no cost but a lot of rewards;
so let's continue to pray for one another.
And I Hope You Dance !

    Thankful Spirit

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body  you were called to peace. And be thankful.Colossians3:15... The magic of a thankful spirit is that it has the power to  replace anger with love, resentment with happinesss, fear with faith, worry with peace, the desire to dominate with the wish to play on a team, self preoccupation with concern for the needs of others, guilt with an open door to forgiveness, sexual impurity with honor and respect, jealousy with joy at anothers success. All these things we can have when we have a thankful spirit. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone had a thankful spirit?

    Obeying God

And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an alter unto the LORD, Who appeared unto him. Genesis 12:7.. We all have our share of lifes trials and troubles, we often find ourselves tired and discouraged. Not everyday is a good day. Not everyday ends in success. But every day is an opportunity to serve the living God. Abram heard Gods call and obeyed Him. He believed Gods promise and worshiped Him. When God calls on us to do something we need not to be afraid to say yes Lord. God gives us the power to do what he calls us to do. We should be bold and obey God.

    Christian Faith

Many new Christians deive into their first Bible reading  by opening the pages of Johns Gospel. there is a good reason why this is a favorite starting point: it was written so we might believe that "Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God and by believing...may have life in His name" [But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God: and that believing ye might have life through His name. John 20:31]. Make no mistake , John wrote his Gospel to convince people that at the center of the Christian faith is Jesus Christ Himself.Read the entire article on my website, http://brolarrys.page.tl Just click on the challenges page.

    Count The Cost

So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple Luke 14:33.... Jesus' plain instructions to anyone who wanted to follow Him  was to give the matter careful thought because there would be a cost involved. We can either cling to our material possessions as if they were really ours forever, or we can acknowledge the fact that all we have is actually Gods anyway. We can't fret over possessions and choose to follow Jesus at the same time. That would be like trying to learn to swim while still holding on to the pool side. To swim we must turn loose and have hands free. Likewise we can't hold onto our stuff and have free hands to lift to God. We must choose which it will be: Let go of all that hinders a close relationship with our Father or cling to the priority of worldly things  and experiance broken fellowship with Him.

Father, I choose life with you!

    Celebratory Journy

And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: BLESSED IS HE THAT COMETH IN THE NAME OF THE LORD; Hossana in the highest. Matthew 21:9...... Jesus' apperance on a donkey probably would not turn modern heads. We expect flashing lights and candy, and so on, whereas the Son of God entered the town on a lowly animal. Jesus' entrance was not missed, however by the locals. They recognized the significance of His apperance and begin to cry aloud Hossana in the highest. I wonder if there are times when we miss noticing the Lords apperance.  Maybe we need to ask ourselves how we can begin to increase our times of celebration with Him.

    Subtle Appeals

For God doeth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods knowing good and evil. Genesis 3:5....Life is full of decisions. Good decisions often follow good decisions, and bad decisions tend to lead to more of the same. The devil hates us and wants to harm us, tempting us to make bad decisions. God loves us and always wants what is best for us. When we choose to do His will, we are deciding we want what is the very best. When we settle for less than the best , even if the choice seems good, we are in disagreement with God , and the devil wins.

    WALK AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT

For ye were sometimes in darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light. Ephesians 5:8... We are "Children of light." The light is real, and no darkness can extinquise it. We can let our light shine by walking as Gods children of light today.

    BELIEVING HEARTS

.Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. John 14:1.... Faith means trusting God's goodness and sovereignty, even if it costs all we have. Believing in God is worth any price we are asked to pay. Let not your heart be troubled. Thank you Father, for your goodness and mercy.

    The Light Of The World

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life. John 8:12.<()> We often hear people speak of our need to find different sources of energy for power. We are warned that fossil fuel such as coal and oil will soon run out and no longer can we rely on these to provide power for homes and gas for our vehicles. Hydrogen and solar power are cited as  viable replacements for these nonrenewable resources. Whether or not we realize it, all of us regard someting or someone as the primary source of power in our lives For some its their jobs or abilities. Others look to friend or families as the source of their strength. But in all reality Jesus is our only reliable source of light, in terms of power, wisdom, and hope. While theres nothing wrong with valuing other blessings, we must be careful not to allow them to replace Jesus as the One on whom we rely.<()>

    Praiseworthy

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable. Psalm 145:3.. In Psalm 145, David could not say enough about God and His name. He wanted to praise Him forever. Why? The Lord is great, so great that we cannot measure His greatness. because He is so great , our praise should be great. Our words cannot be as great as He is but we can try. We praise great sales, great sports figures and teams, a childs great efforts, and great food. All these do not even come close to Gods greatness--- The earth, the galaxies, the universe; His works of redemption, reconciliation, and salvation; the miracles of life, healing, and forgiveness. Yes, God is great! We teach children to pray that. Lets say it with praise because He is certainly worth it.

    Where Could I Go

We live in a time when where everyone is trying to find something. It seems everywhere you look there is someone who is searching for their place in this world. Moving from one job to another one house to another, one car to another and so on. Even some Christians are searching, moving from one church to another , one denomonation to another, constantly looking for something different. What does  this church have to offer. Im not being fed where Im at. This is what I hear from some. Wonder what is missing? The love of Jesus can fill us with the Holy Spirit and satisfy our longing for something different. Fill us with joy and hope and feed us untill we are full. Then and only then are will we be fully satisfied... Romans 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.

    Build Upon A Rock

Therefore whosoever hearth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will make unto him like a wise man, which built his house upon a rock. Matthew 7:24... Before Jesus left His disciples to return to His Heavenly Father, He wanted to make sure they had learned the wise principles of putting into action what they heard Him teach. He wants that for us as well. Listening to sound teaching is good; however, listening alone will not be enough. There will surely be cracks  in the foundation of our faith if we do not practice what we learn from God. From the lips of the greatest teacher ever, the Son of God, the lesson bears repeating. James repeated it when he said, Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only [ James1:22].  Let us repeat this lesson in our lives  building upon a rock.

    Compassion

Then saith he to the disciple, behold thy mother! and from that hour that disciple took her into his own home. John 19:27..Jesus was never to busy for others. The most casual walk through the Gospels will give evidence to that. Whether it was a blind begger , a diseased woman, a wealthy young seeker, a prominant offical,. and so many others with various needs. What moved Jesus to be so focused on others? Why would He care so much for people others found so easy to dismiss? Compassion. Jesus cared.  He cared to the point of acting on behalf of others, especially those who could not act for themselves. Jesus was just a few breaths away from death given the cruelty He was enduring it was time for someone to show Him compassion. But wait Jesus spoke once more from the cross. In essence His instructions to His beloved disciple were Take care of My mother" What did you expect ? Even at death's threshold, Jesus had others on His mind, and so He acted with compassion.
