Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2 NKJV

    GOD IS LOVE

    God Is Love

People of the world see God’s love demonstrated every day, whether they acknowledge it or not— in creation, or a baby’s cry, in the recorded acts of Jesus and His disciples [ if they read the Bible] and in the lives of Christians around the globe. Yes, the world may see Gods love, but knowing and believing  it is another thing. As Christian, you have the priceless privilege of Knowing and believing love. This implies a vital union between the Christian and God. Through Christ we can become increasingly like God in our love, which should be our hearts desire. It is in Christ that we can actually know  what God is like. There is no love like compares to the everlasting unconditional love Jesus demonstrated on the cross. How staggering to think that this kind of love is perfected, or reaching its aim in us…1John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him

    FAST PACED LIFE

    Fast Paced Life

We are living in a very fast paced world. Everything is right now we can’t wait  we want right now. Internet is geared to high speed right now I’m on dial up as my wireless is down and it is very very slow. Not so long ago we thought a connection of 56kbs was fast. We seem to keep speeding things up cars, boats, planes, trains, televisions, everything is fast. I wonder if we realize how fast our lives will be over? It is very important that we are saved and lead a Christian life so we can inherit the greatest gift of all time eternal life. This life will soon be over one way or another. We need to be ready now..John 3:36  Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

    TRYING TIMES

I must admit that I sure have had some trying times the last few days. A lot of things went wrong. From my car tearing up, to finding termites in our house. Of course I could explain all the circumstances which aren’t to good. But that would only make me seem like a whiner.  I can say that I had to do a lot of praying because I knew what was going on.  Satan was trying to get me to lose my temper and have a mad fit and in turn blame God. Did not happen; in stead I asked God to help me through the trying times and to ban Satan from my life. I am still having some problems but things by the grace of God are getting better.[ James 1:2-3]  2- Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.

Kindness, Examples Of How The Fine Was Paid

Kindness Examples Of How The Fine Was Paid

Once, when Mr. LaGuardia, the famous ex-mayor of New York, was presiding at a police court, they brought a trembling old man before him, charged with stealing a loaf of bread. He said his family was starving. “Well, I’ve got to punish you,” said Mr. LaGuardia. “The law makes no exception, and I can do nothing but sentence you to a fine of ten dollars.” Then he added, after reaching into his pocket, “and here’s the ten dollars to pay your fine. Now I remit the fine.” Then, tossing the ten-dollar bill into his famous outsize hat, he said, “Furthermore, I’m going to fine everybody in this courtroom fifty cents, for living in a town where a man has to steal bread in order to eat. Mr. Bailiff, collect the fines, and give them to this defendant.” The hat was passed, and an incredulous old man, with a light of Heaven in his eyes, left the courtroom with forty-seven dollars and fifty cents... ..1Samuel 2:2  "There is none holy like the LORD; there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God.

    Worldly Spiritual?

    Worldly Spiritual?

We sometimes think we are living on top of the world. We seem to have everything we desire.  Question is do we really? or is there something that is still missing in our lives. The worldly possessions we desire, we seem to have but we are still not satisfied could it be something spiritual? maybe what we really desire is the  satisfaction that comes only from the Holy Spirit. What if that desire out ways all the others? Then we should by all means seek out the comfort and satisfaction that we truly desire. The everlasting Salvation that Jesus gave His life for on the cross at Calvary…James 4:3  You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.

    Worldly Or Godly?

    Worldly Or Godly?
We keep trying to lead people to Christ. But some are very stubborn and set in their ways. It seems that a lot of folks [not everyone] these days are more concerned with worldly than Godly things. They just don’t want to let go of the world and do what it takes to live a Christian life. It is so sad because I know of so many that never make a change before they are struck down, and life in this old world is over. We will have to try harder never giving up. What if God ever gave up on man kind?..Matthew 6:19 -20 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal,
20  but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal

    Understanding?

Sometimes things happen that we just don’t understand. A thirteen year old boy lived across the road from me. A very good kid I never knew him to cause trouble for anyone. He was a close friend of my nephews a 9 yr old and a 14 yr old that stay at my brothers a lot who lives behind me.  The boys were always around the place somewhere when they weren’t in school. I talked to the thirteen yr old   just a day before he lost his life in a very tragic accident which took the life of his dad and another family member. A sobering reminder of how fast things can change. We never know when our number will be called. We must be ready to face God at any time. I ask for prayers for this family and my nephews, they are taking this loss very hard. I will end this post with the 23rd psalm.

Psalm 23:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Psalm 23:2 He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.

Psalm 23:3 He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Psa 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Psalm 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

    WHY?

Why do we complain about things, when we are guilty of doing what we are complaining about? Why do we buy things we don’t need because we are made to believe we do?. Why do we agree to something, when we know it’s wrong  just because someone else does? Why do we argue over things we know nothing about? Why do we judge people by how they dress? Why are we always in a hurry? Why do we wait in line for hours to buy a new gadget, or to see a movie? Why is there shortages on items, but there is plenty for an inflated price? Why am I typing this? Just some thoughts to think on. ..And remember.  Love worketh no ill to his neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Romans 13:10
