The Power Behind The Miracle
The Triune God is the power behind the miracle to take place in
Mary’s womb. It is the Holy Spirit who comes upon Mary, and it is the
power of God the Father who makes the miracle happen so that God the Son
is embodied in flesh. We call this miracle the incarnation and it’s the
first earthly step toward redemption through the cross. The Triune God
is the power behind the miracle of Christmas, just as the Triune God is
the power behind the miracle of the born again life.
And the angel answered and said to her, “The
Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will
overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be
called the Son of God. Luke 1:35

Forgive Readily
Forgiveness to someone who does wrongly to you is very hard to do.
Our nature tells us to get even. However Jesus told His disciples to
forgive, not in their own time , but when repentance occurs.Taking this
command to heart means we must be prepared to rebuke and restore. These
two things don’t seem to go hand in hand but according to Jesus they do.
Therefore we need to spend daily time with the Lord preparing our
hearts and walking with Him. When it’s time to rebuke , we need to
rebuke. When it’s time to forgive we need to forgive. Jesus gave a
command not a suggestion. Honestly this may be one of the most difficult
commands in all of scripture, yet it’s there and is to be followed.
Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. Luke 17:3 (NKJV)
