HE IS
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation; because by Him everything was created, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities- all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things and by Him all things hold together. He is also the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He might come to have first place in everything. Because the fullness was pleased to dwell in Him, And to reconcile everything to Himself through Him by making peace through the blood of His cross- whether things on earth or in heaven. Colossians 1:15-20. These scriptures tell us that God is fully in charge of everything here on earth and in heaven. As Christians we are protected by this awsome power. What a great and wonderous feeling just know God can be in total control of our lives if we just let Him.

PRAISE THE CREATOR OF LIGHT
Let them praise the LORD: for he commanded and they were created. Psalm 148:5....Light which pervades so many elements of our world, stands out as one of our Creators trademarks. Today many believe a big bang -- rather than God - generated the natural world. Others idolize nature itself rather than worshiping the one who created it. In this day and age we need to act as guides for those who may not recgonize light and everything else in nature as the remarkable handiwork of the Lord. Lets Give God praise and thanks for the beautiful world in which we live.

Deliverance From Evil
We know that God does not tempt anyone or lead His children into sin. However , He does allow trial and tests into our lives for the purpose of strengthing our faith. Jesus was no stranger to temptation after 40 days of fasting, the Devil tempted Him in the dessert when He was physically weak. It is no wonder that the writer of Hebrews said that Jesus "was in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin" [Heb.4:15] In the midst of our struggles, we often find ourselves tempted to sin. That temptation comes from the desires within our hearts or from the Devil who desires evil for us. First Corinthians 10:13 reminds us that God is faithful and will never let us be tempted beyond that which we can bear. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil: for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory , for ever Amen. Matthew 6:13

Focus On God
Something has been bothering me lately. It seems that many of us worry too much about trivial things instead of what really matters. And that is loving our Lord Jesus. Worshiping Him,and loving one another. We often let what we want and the way we want things to be stand in the way of what God intended for the life of a Christian. Christian stands for just that! Christ like. If we let satan he will take the smallest problem and destroy us with it. But if we keep the love of Jesus in our heart and focus on Him we can over come satan and all his evil ways. It is not what God and the church can do for me, but what can I do for God and the church. If we all follow the commandments Jesus told us to follow, and stay focused on the things that are right, then we all can rejoice in the Lord and be truly blessed. Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. May God show his upmost blessings on everyone.

TOUCH ME NOT
Jesus said unto her . Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brethren, and say unto them. I ascend unto my Father, and your Father, and to my God, and your God. John 20:17.... When Mary first saw Jesus after His death, she joyfully and worship-fully held on to Him. But Jesus said to her, Touch me not. He then told her He had not yet ascended to the Father''and I am ascending to my Father'' So rather than Mary continuing to to cling to Him, Jesus wanted her to share the good news of His resurrection and coming ascension with His disciples. He also wanted her to understand the way she must now begin relating to Him. Marys future relationship would not be physical, such as touching and seeing because Jesus would be gone from earth. From now on, Mary had to relate to her Lord in faith and without Jesus' physical presence visible to her. Have a Blessed Easter.

A REFUGE FOR OPPRESSED PEOPLE
.....When we are troubled and everyone is from time to time, if we would just keep in mind that as Christians, bought with the blood of Christ, we know that God loves us. But sometimes we take him for granted, and think its His obligation to love us. We sometimes depend on other people instead of God; but they are not perfect and will sometimes let us down. God is the Only one in whom we can fully trust and find refuge. He is a safe house for the weary and worn, and He never abandons His own......The LORD will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Psalm 9:9

DARKNESS OR LIGHT
We all know to walk with Jesus is to walk in the light, but there is some things we have to do, to walk in the light. 1John1:6-10 If we say we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness. we lie and do not the truth.7-But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another. and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8-If we say that we have no sin, we decieve ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9-If we confess our sins,He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10-If we say we have not sinned we make Him a liar and his word is not in us. [KJV] --- I am so proud God made it posssible to walk in the light of our dear saviour Jesus Christ by giving his only begotten Son that all who believes on Him shall be saved. As we come to another Easter season lets remember who made the ultmate sacrifice. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only begotten Son, that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. [HCSB]

GODS MERCY
But for Gods mercy we could not be saved. nor could we have the opportunity to know his beloved son Jesus Christ. Through Gods mercy and grace we can do things that we normally could not do. We can look forward to everlasting life through the blood of Gods only begotten son, that died for our sins so every one would have a chance at salvation. We can have fellowship with him, we can love him, because we know he loves us.We can witness to those who are lost. we can help the sick and needy We can pray for the ones who have special needs and pray for one another. There is so much more we can do through Gods mercy and his grace. It is really unlimited if every Christian would do these things, and give the praise where praise is due to our Lord Jesus Christ. Wouldn't it be so wonderful ? Psalms 57:9-10-11. 10 I will praise thee O Lord, among the people I will sing unto thee among the nations. 11 For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds. 12. Be thou exalted, O God above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.

CHOSEN ONES
Here it is coming up on the weekend again where does the time go? Here are some things that I wonder if a lot of folks think about. We that believe that Jesus is the Son of God and died on the cross for our sins that we might be saved, are Gods chosen ones. Paul teaches this in Galations 3:26-29 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Jesus Christ. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put 0n Christ. And here it is-- verse 28 and 29 explains 28 There is neither Jew, nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female; for ye are all one in christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christs then are ye Abrahams seed. And heirs according to the promise. We are all one in Christ and we are all the chosen ones , as long as we believe on Him and follow his commandents. That is more good news. May we all have a blessed weekend in Christ. Praise Jesus for ever more.

ALLOW THE SPIRIT TO WORK
Life has taught me that in every situation, there is always something for which to be thankful. How do we Quench Gods Spirit? 18-In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19- Quench not the spirit.1 Thessalonians 5 :18-19.As a young Christian verse 18 puzzled me for I thought some circumstances could never allow one to be thankful. But life has taught me that in every situation, there is always something for which to be thankful. How do we Quench Gods Spirit? I believe one way we quench the spirit is by having an ungrateful attitude. God wants us to worship Him with a thankful and cheerful heart. An ungrateful heart is not likely to be pleasing to the Holy Spirit . One way to be inspired by the Holy Spirit is by taking note of Gods gifts in nature, the blessings we recieve through friends and family, and most of all the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.

GOD OR MAMMON
Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to the one and, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. If we say we are serving God, and dont give up the things of the world that are not pleasing to God, we are trying to serve two masters. That being the case then we are going to have to give up, or make some sacrifices of the things that are not pleasing to God. Paul tells us in Romans what we have to do. 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be ordained of God. Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.We can make idols or other gods out of any thing that we put before God, or we let take the place of God in our life. Romans 13:2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God; and they that resist shall recieve to them-selfs damnation.

Think About This
Here are some wonderful verses with a lot of meaning they are from John- 15:7-14-15- 7-If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what you will and it shall be done into you 14-Ye are my friends if you do whatsoever I command you.-15 Henceforth I call you not servants: for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth; but I have called you friends; for all things I have heard of my Father I have made known to you. Isn't that wonderful? to be a friend of Jesus, and to know that He is with you watching over you and comforting you, walking with you,and ready to give whatever you ask of him. yes a true friend. Jesus Christ the one and only Son of God. I am glad to be his friend, and glad He is mine.

Ashamed?
Certain suffferings can make us feel ashamed, as if we are unworthy to be in the company of others. A terrible disease, or one whose name carries a social stigma, or even tragedies like divorce or the rebellion of a child can make us withdraw in shame. During such times we may find hard to boldly say,I am a believer . Jesus is my Saviour. What will people think when our lives are so full of scarring troubles? Paul the Apostle challenged his young son in the ministry, Timothy, to never let other peoples evaluations of his difficulties cause him to shrink back from declaring the gospel. Paul knew that whatever difficulties assailed him, Jesus was still Saviour and Lord..... For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have commited unto him against that day. 2 Timothy 1:12

Gods Church
We need to understand that its not the church building or the denomination that makes the church it is in the heart of the congregation. If we dont have God in our heart then we have no church. the name that is on the building does not matter, it is what is in your heart. I go to a baptist building but I am truly in the church of God as we all better be. I think if everyone would recgonize this very important fact. our relationship with God through our church would be so much better. and maybe just maybe we would understand what Paul was saying in 1Cor:4-5-6 Now there are divirsities of gifts, but the same spirit. 4 And there are different administrations but he same Lord.6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh in all. I love all my brothers in Christ, as Jesus commanded us to do . and I pray everyone else will learn that we as christians are all in the body of Christ as one.
