What We Can Do Together.
Have you ever used a magnifying glass to help you read small print? Remember how that simple instrument made the letters and words seem larger? While the print under magnifying glass only seems larger, when we take a closer look at God we find that His size and significance surpass anything we might say or do to exalt Him. Magnifying the Lord means helping others see His greatness and glory. It includes honoring Him by praising His name. Could our failure to making exalting God a top priority contribute to disunity within the body of Christ? Surely we can all agree that God is worthy of our highest praise. We can even put God above all our differences by agreeing to live for His glory. Yes we can promote unity among God’s people by exalting His name together, we agree that God is worthy of our highest praise. We can even put God above our differences by agreeing to live For His glory.Yes, we can promote unity among Gods people by exalting His name together, but are we willing to make that choice? Are we willing to put God’s glory above getting our own way? Psalm 34:3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.

From Evil to Good
God gets blamed for many things in today’s world. Insurance companies often won’t pay damages from so called “acts of God.” It is not unusual to hear someone ask questions like, Why did God cause her or him to get cancer? Why would God cause innocent people to get hurt by a drunk driver? I believe God does not cause these things to happen. He knows they will take place, and He allows them to happen because He has given us the freedom to make choices and we often make the wrong ones. Sometimes we are the victims of bad choices by others. And often God takes evil acts and makes good come from them. As Joseph spoke to his brothers in Genesis 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me, but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Not all things are good. But Gods Word tells us, All things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28.

Isaiah 40:8
The grass withereth ... - This is repeated from the former verse for the sake of emphasis, or strong confirmation. But the word of our God - The phrase 'word of our God,' refers either to his promise to be the protector and deliverer of his people in their captivity, or, in general, means that all his promises shall be firm and unchanging. Shall stand for ever - Amidst all revolutions among men, his promise shall be firm. It shall not only live amidst the changes of dynasties, and the revolutions of empires, but it shall continue forever and ever. This is designed for support to an afflicted and oppressed people; and it must have been to them, in their bondage, the source of high consolation. But it is equally so now. Amidst all the changes on earth; the revolutions of empires; the vanishing of kingdoms, God is the same, and his promises are unfailing. We see the grass wither at the return of autumn, or in the drought: we see the flower of the field lose its beauty, and decay; we see man rejoicing in his vigor and his health, cut down in an instant; we see cities fall, and kingdoms lose their power and vanish from among nations, but God changes not. He presides in all these revolutions, and sits calm and unmoved amidst all these changes. Not one of his promises shall fail; and at the end of all the changes which human things shall undergo, Yahweh, the God of his people, will be the same. [Source: Barnes Notes On the Bible]

Gods Word Is Forever
Many of the things around us grow older and lose their usefulness. And we aren’t very old before we realize how fragile and how brief our own lives are. Where can we find stability and Total Faith, lasting truth? We can find it in Gods unchanging Word. His Word will remain though all else may fail. There will never be a time when we cannot put our total faith in His Word….The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the Word of God shall stand forever. Isaiah 40:8

A Heart For The Lord
Have you ever heard someone refered to as having a heart of stone? The bad news is that we all at some point in our lives, have hard hearts. That”s what sin does for us.The good news is that almighty God is also the great physician in every way. In Ezekiel 11:19, God talked about performing heart surgery on His people removing stony hearts and replacing them with new ones. That’s precisely what our Heavenly Father did for His children as described in this verse Jeremiah 24:7 And I will give them a heart to know me, that I am Jehovah: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God; for they shall return unto me with their whole heart. That is what God will do for people today too. He gives us hearts to know Him, love Him, and live in a right relationship with Him. A heart for the Lord is a healthy one.

The Golden Rule Still Rules
According to the Golden Rule, if you want respect, show respect to others; if you desire compassion, express compassion; if you yearn for forgiveness, be forgiving. obedience to this rule by which believers could change the course of history and bring harmony to a troubled world. Jesus made it clear that we are to love all people, family friend, and foe with the caring, forgiving love that that seeks the best for others..And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. Luke 6:31
