Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2 NKJV

Put Your Faith to Work
Our salvation has nothing to do with our works, but our works has
everything to do with our salvation. If we have Christ in us, He will
display His loving mercy through our works. God is good so when the Holy
Spirit resides in us, good works should come out of our lives.
For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead. James 2:26 HCSB
The Lord has entrusted to each of us that which we can use in His service. He gives us opportunities to honor Him. What are we doing with what we have been given? Someday we will stand before Him. accountable for what we have done with what He has given. Surely each of us wants to hear Him say, ‘Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”
His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Matthew 25:21 KJV
God doesn’t want to improve your existing life. Jesus doesn’t come
to tinker with the original, merely giving it a new facade. Through
regeneration, He desires to give you an entirely new identity–to make
you into a new man or woman through and through. A new identity, then
give birth to a new way of life. Through Christ, you walk, talk, and act
in an outward way that demonstrates an inward change. You are only left
with memories of the old . So are you demonstrating a new life? If your
faith has not changed your life, then your faith hasn’t saved your
soul. The faith that saves your soul also changes your life.
and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, Colossians 3:10 NKJV
Loved ones promise an earthly inheritance; God provides a heavenly
one. A grandparent leaves behind temporal riches; God supplies eternal
rewards. Earthly wills can be broken; God’s will is promised forever.
Before the beginning of time , God planned an inheritance for us
through Jesus. He penned it through His life. He signed it with the
currency of His own blood. And He sealed it by His victory over the
grave. God’s inheritance is yours through repentance and faith in Jesus.
Are you in the will?
In
Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according
to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of
His will,Ephesians 1:11 NKJV
As long as we are in our earthly flesh sin remains with us. Sin
dwells within our carnal selves, so despite our knowing the goodness of
God and His Word, we are still not rid of our flesh; consequently, we
are not rid of our sin. This is the problem with sin; as long as we are
in our earthly bodies sin remains with us. This indwelling sin is so
powerful that it keep us from doing what is right.. Until Jesus takes us
home, sin will be in our lives, but thankfully God has given us His
Spirit to enable the victory in our lives.
For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Romans 7:19 KJV
