PRAISE

Our pastor has not been very well lately, he had several tests run and the doctors said he was loosing blood some where they thought it was his kidneys they did a byopsy and he has been waiting on the test results. last night at church we all prayed that his test would come back and they wouldn't find any thing seriously wrong . He got the results and it was not serious.Just shows what trusting in the Lord and prayer will do. the doctors said a round of medicine should take care of all his problems.So we all just praise the Lord for answering our prayers and for the blessings He always bestows on us every day. Matthew 15:7 If ye abide in me. and my words abide in you. ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Praise Jesus for ever and ever.

BROTHER

I was talking to one of my brothers in Christ who also sings and plays guitar, he is a great singer and player and  he is a really good christian man. He told me the last time he went to sing that he lost his song. he said he didn't feel like he was doing what God wanted him to do . He was to do 15 songs and he only did 5 and told the audience that that was all he had to sing. he said he couldnt remember the words to the songs he has been doing for a long time.He was ready to give up and quit, I told him  that was the devil trying to get to him and take the joy out of his heart.He said maybe you are right, maybe I was doing this for me instead of God. I told him pray about it and let God back in.and He would surely put the joy back in his heart and his music.Some times we get so caught up in what we wont that we dont put God first .and that is when satan gets his chanch,and jumps right at the oppurtunity to try and destroy us. But I praise god that He is always there for us when we mess things up willing to forgive, and love us just the same. all we have to do is ask.  Psalm 113:1-2 Praise ye the LORD, Praise,O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD. 2  Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for ever more.

GODS MERCY

But for Gods mercy we could not be saved. nor could we have the oppurtunity to know his beloved son Jesus Christ. Through Gods mercy and grace we can do things that we normaly could not do. we can look foward to everlasting life through the blood of  Gods only begotten son who died for our sins so every one would have a chance at salvation. We can have fellowship with him, we can love him because we know he loves us.we can witness to those who are lost, we can help the sick and needy, we can pray for the ones who have special needs and pray for one another. There is so much more we can do through Gods mercy and his grace, it is really un limited if everyone would do these things, and give praise where praise is due to our Lord Jesus Christ it would be so wonderful amen?  Psalms 57:9-10-11. 10 I will praise thee O Lord, among the people I will sing unto thee among the nations. 11 For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds. 12. Be thou exalted, O God above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.

OUR FATHER'S WORLD

HAVE we, as a people , so immersed in our science and tough technolgy, lost touch with the earth that our father formed? It is remarkeble to recall how many times Christ referred to natural objects such as sheep, birds, flowers, grass, seed, soil, fish and trees. He used them in many parables. He explained the most profound spiritual truths through natural processes. Part of our problem is that most us do not really believe he created all the majestic and complex diversty of the earth. In our schools and institutions through books, films, and the media, we have been seduced to believe the earth  in all its glory has emerged from oblivion by pure chance. We are convinced it is the end product of a blind evolutionary process so deeo in despair, so sad and forlorn in its futility. But for a tiny handful of us this is still My Fathers World'' We know assuredly that it is he who brought it into being. We are actualy aware that he cares for it deeply. He knows the most minute detail of every bird, flower, or tree upon it, they are his.He is theirs. And amid all the lovely interaction between creator and creation he speaks to me. therin lies part of his wonder, awe and inspiration.

FOCUS ON GOD

Sorry I havent posted, have been busy we are having our sanctuary repainted and working on some other things at church also. anyway here I am.Something has been bothering me lately.It seems that to many of us are worried about trivial things, instead of what really matters and that is loving our Lord Jesus, and worshiping Him,and loving one another. We only to often let what we want, and the way we want things to be; stand in our way of what God intended for christians to be like. Christian stands for just that Christ like. If we let satan he will take the smallest problem and destroy us with it.But if we keep the love of Jesus in our heart and focus on Him we can over come satan and all his evil ways. It is not what God and the church can do for me, but what can I do for God and the church. If we all follow the commandments Jesus told us to follow,and stay focused on the things that are right, then we all can rejoice in the Lord and be truly blessed. Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
