Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2 NKJV

    God In Our Pockets

Some have decided that they will carry a good luck charm in their pocket. This good luck charm is God, we will just pull Him out if we need Him otherwise we leave Him in our pockets out of site so we can go and do all the things we want, but if we get in trouble or we have sickness we think we can take our God out and call on Him. To bad it doesn’t work that way. Jesus said  He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. Matthew 12:30 We can’t serve two masters we have to keep Jesus in our hearts and not in our pockets.

    Good Life

Ever think about a new born baby? Here is a life unblemished by the world. Pure, Honest, noble, lovely and admirable are only a few things we see in this new person. Helpless by their selves baby’s depend on others to meet their needs. We as Christians should live lives that are true, honest, just and of good report. Although no one is perfect we should forget what is behind and set our lives on living lives that please God. If we seek God in all things, He will meet our needs. And that is a good life…Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is fair, whatever is pure, whatever is acceptable, whatever is commendable, if there is anything of excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy-keep thinking about these things.

He Is The God Of Glory

I sometimes wonder if our prayer time sounds like a Santa Claus list of I wants. So many of us live such a hurried lives our model prayer is : our Father and so forth, your will be done. But make it quick. Thanks for the bread. Don’t give me more than I can handle. Keep the bad people at someone else’s office. Get me home. You know the rest, Amen.” We need to set down and thank God. Not for big things, like health, family, and home. What about the little things?– The air conditioning in the summer, a child who can run and laugh, a car that runs, a grandparent who is able to see a grandchild graduate from kindergarten, or childhood friends. We ought to make it a purpose of our prayers to thank God for at least 10 things each day. We will be amazed how looking at life through thankful eyes will keep our focus on Gods glory. And when we pray with a thankful heart we will live with a thankful heart, declaring His wonders among all people… Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. Psalm 96:3

    Merciful and Gracious

The word mercy means kindness. It is also deprived from a Hebrew word that means to bow the neck as to an equal. Our holy and sovereign God humbles Himself. He bends over to help us and be kind to us. What a tender picture that is. What an awesome God and loving Father we have. Not only is God merciful, but His mercy is also immeasurable toward those who fear Him. He longs to be approached and has made the effort to be approachable. Will you come near?

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. Psalm 103:11….

    Praise The Lord

I just want to praise the Lord for all that He has given me. the beautiful fall colors the air we breath the sky the stars the moon the sun. everything that we enjoy on this earth God has given to us. And as beautiful as our Lord made earth I can’t imagine what heaven will be like. And I know if we trust in Jesus and believe, that some day we will find out. Praise to our heavenly Father.

[Psalms 150: 1-2]  Praise ye the Lord. praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in the firmament of his power.

2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according his excellent greatness,
