Invisible World
We are surrounded by an invisible world. There are messengers of
God, angels, who are exerting their influence. The Holy Spirit is
actively pursuing people around the globe. God’s presence is among us
as we worship. However we sometimes ignore this truth. We worry,
despair, and complain. We act as if the visible world was the only
reality. If we could see the invisible world we might behave
differently. When we view life through the lens of the Bible as did
Jacob, we will discover God has been their all the time. You will see
God is with you always. and He wants His presence to make a difference
in your life.
Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.” Genesis 28:16 (NASB)

Soar Like an Eagle
We know the law of gravity will prevent our sailing into the air.
Yet as we patiently wait on God, believing He will keep every promise in
His Word, we will be strengthened in our spirits. By placing our trust
in Almighty God, we can soar beyond our heartaches and disappointments
as though we have wings to soar like an eagle.
But they that wait upon the Lord
shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.Isaiah 40:31
KJV

Ultimate Sacrifice
In the world we live in today with all the bad and awful things
that are happening. We may find it hard to realize what our service men
and women sacrifice on a daily bases so we might enjoy the freedom we
have. Let us remember all the one’s that have sacrificed all these
years for us. But most of all let us remember the one who gave the
ultimate sacrifice for all people everywhere. Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 16:13Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

The Blessed Nation
Our nation was founded on Judeo-Christian principles and values.
Our constitution and currency declare that trust in God. Many years ago
when television stations signed off each night [yes they actually did
that] many would use Psalm 33:12 as a sign off verse. Yet many of the
actions across our nation do not exemplify the trust in God we claim.
The military develops strategies, and politicians set into motion
domestic policies to address threats to national security and promote
economic prosperity. But their actions do nor guarantee success. We must
acknowledge that victory comes from the Lord. God is Creator and
Deliverer, He moves throughout history and is involved in the lives of
His people.
Psalm 33:12Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

The Lord Reigns
The Lord reigns supreme forever. There will never be an end to His
reign. He reigns in heaven, and His kingdom extends over all: all
people, all rulers, and all worldly champions. God has permanently
established His throne in the heavens; no one will ever dethrone the
Lord. We can find great comfort in knowing that our God has power over
everything, especially in this world where we constantly face change and
instability. We can be strengthened greatly by knowing that our supreme
Lord is in control of all things.
The Lord has established His throne in heaven, And His kingdom rules over all.Psalm 103:19 NKJV

It’s a Waste
If you make gaining wealth the source of your life, it will never
satisfy. [Ecclesiastes 5:10. Instead of making things better , the love
of money actually causes more problems. If the pursuit of wealth is the
focus of your life ask God to help you to seek Him as the source of true
happiness. While the pursuit of wealth will ultimately be a waste of
time, the pursuit of God will never be wasted.
He that loveth silver
shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with
increase: this is also vanity. Ecclesiastes 5:10 KJV

Thanks to Mothers
To Mother You Brought us up all our life, Showing us wrong from right
There was times I was upset, But I know now it was good sense.
You kept us warm and kept us fed, You even checked on us when we were in bed. I never know how much you cared,
Till Randy wrecked his bike and hit his head. You
came out of the house with your house coat on. So Randy would not be
alone. There are so many mothers in this world. But I have to say you
are the best one,There was times you were hard on us, I was mad . But
after years went by I am glad There’s times I stop and think, How
wonderful it is to have a mother so great With all you said and did ,I’m
glad you didn’t give up on this kid, So after this I have to say You
are a special mother to this day
So sit down on this beautiful day
‘Cause you earned I have to say. Phillip Mattox-source unknown

Wise Builders
Many in our world reject God’s Son and his offer of salvation.
Building their live on the unstable sand of what the world has to offer.
But when we come to Jesus for spiritual healing and are willing to obey
His teachings. Then we are building our lives on a solid foundation
that cannot be shaken by life’s most violent storms.
Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: Luke 6:47 NKJV

Spiritual Thirst
We drink a lot of bottled water in America to quince our thirst. Mainly because we think there may be impurities in our tap water. When our soul gets thirsty, also. We need to be refreshed spiritually in order in order to keep our focus on God. Again this process is not very easy. The world offers us stimulation and refreshment for our soul and mind. This refreshment deceptively filling and satisfying for the moment. But it often contains impurity’s that can harm one’s walk with the Lord.To quench our spiritual thirst, we must go to the one pure, clean source. Our Lord and His Word. Only in Him can we find everlasting refreshment for our souls.
John 4:10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” NIV
