Source Of Strength
Some people seem to believe, like the ancient Stoics,
that whatever comes in life, good or bad, joyful or sad , must be
endured without question or feeling. Others think that eating, drinking,
and seeking luxury is the ultimate goal in life. The Apostle Paul’s
hometown, Tarsus was a center of Stoicism, thus he grew up in a society
that promoted that philosophy. As a follower of Christ, he had suffered
many physical and emotional extremes. He had been joyful, and sad,
hungry and well fed, loved and hated. Instead of considering negative
things his destiny in life, he found and drew upon a source spiritual
strength that helped him soar above life’s extremes. Christ who
lived within him, gave him the power to face anything. Our days are
filled with opportunities, and obstacles. That's the way of life. Yet
with our faith secured in Christ, we have available His strength to cope
and to know joy even in stressful times.
I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

Heavenly Treasures
When Jesus gave us these very important instructions He
knew how greedy people were ,and how greedy the were to become. Matthew
6:20-21 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither
moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor
steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. How
true these words are. Most people count their blessings by how many
riches they have here on earth. They never think about whats in store
for them in heaven. If we believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that
He was crucified on the cross for our sins, and then repent. We also
can be heirs to the greatest fortune of all times. Everlasting life with
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Love Works
Paul conveyed in Romans that the only dept we can never
fully pay is the dept of love for one another. This love is not just a
warm fuzzy feeling; it is an act of kindness motivated by a sense of
eternal dept we owe the Lord Jesus. Moreover it sums up all the demands
of the law…..Love worketh no ill to his neighbor; therefore love is the
fulfilling of the law. Romans 13:10…..Matthew 5:44 but I say unto you, love your enemies, and pray for them that persecute you;

Why?
Why do we complain about things, when we are guilty of doing what we are complaining about? Why do we buy things we don’t need because we are made to believe we do?. Why do we agree to something, when we know it’s wrong just because someone else does? Why do we argue over things we know nothing about? Why do we judge people by how they dress? Why are we always in a hurry? Why do we wait in line for hours to buy a new gadget, or to see a movie? Why is there shortages on items, but there is plenty for an inflated price? Why am I typing this? Just some thoughts to think on. ..And remember. Love worketh no ill to his neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Romans 13:10
