Never Changing

Although the world around is always changing and it seems there is nothing for sure. We see the financial markets very volatile,  fighting and wars around the world, crime is running rampant there is no trust in governments and so on. So what, are who do we believe in? There is one who never changes he is always the same. His love for people is just as strong as it ever was. This is Jesus Christ the one who died on a cross rose again on the third day so we could be saved. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16. “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,”  so that we confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid.

What is Faith?

What is faith? taking God at His Word and asking no questions. So we see that by God’s grace through faith we are saved.  Look at Hebrews 11:1- Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The validity of faith, does not rest on the sincerity of the believer, but on the reliability of what is believed. Truths revealed by God’s Word cannot be seen, but we can still be confident about them. It is the nature of our faith to take God’s Word for what we can’t see, just as we believe that He shaped the visible universe from nothing although there can be no witness.

Set Apart

We are to be changed. Set apart more like Christ. However we cannot be transformed on our own; but as we pray for the transforming power that only Christ can give and seek to know God’s mind asking for His leading, then we will find what God’s will is for our individual lives. The good the, the pleasing, the perfect will He has just for us. The greatest peace we can know as humans is that we are where God wants us and we are doing the work He has for us to do each day. Are you where God wants you? If not ask God what He has in store for you today.
