Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2 NKJV

    REMEMBERING OTHERS

I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day. 2 Timothy 1:3... As Paul prayed for Timothy he furnished us with a good example of remembering others in prayer. Just think how blessed Timothy was to have Paul pray for him on a regular basis. When we pray for others our thoughts may well travel down two distinct paths. We might think first of those to whom we can have a ministry through prayer. Prayer is one way we can bear others burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. [Gal.6:2].  Then we might recall those who have prayed for us in the past and who do so now, How blessed we are when that happens.

    Merciful and Gracious

The word mercy means kindness. It is also deprived from a Hebrew word that means to bow the neck as to an equal. Our holy and sovereign God humbles Himself. He bends over to help us and be kind to us. What a tender picture that is. What an awesome God and loving Father we have. Not only is God merciful, but His mercy is also immeasurable toward those who fear Him. He longs to be approached and has made the effort to be approachable. Will you come near?

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. Psalm 103:11….

    Be Generous

Our Heavenly Father is so wise. He will not  over gift us, lest we become boastful, thinking ourselves to be providers. But He is generous. He even knows what we need before we ask! Our wealth is not determined by how much we have, but how little we need after depending on God.

He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and that he is unjust in the least  is unjust also in much. Luke 16:10...

    Subtle Appeals

Life is full of decisions. Good decisions often follow good decisions, and bad decisions tend to lead to more of the same. The devil hates us and wants to harm us, tempting us to make bad decisions. God loves us and always wants what is best for us. When we choose to do His will, we are deciding we want what is the very best. When we settle for less than the best , even if the choice seems good, we are in disagreement with God , and the devil wins…For God doeth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods knowing good and evil. Genesis 3:5

    The Harvest

This time of year is very special. It is the time of the final harvest before winter. The leaves will begin to turn as we get into fall of the year.It is a very beautiful season and my favorite. When we have harvested the final crops and are ready for winter there is a time of rest a time to enjoy what God has given us. I know that everyone is not a farmer but we all have a stake in the harvest. Look for the harvest moon this year and marvel at how beautiful God has made it. This time of harvest and gathering reminds me of a verse from Matthew 9:38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. We should always remember to work in Gods fields and work to gather in the lost

    Why Be Afraid?

Fear! were all afraid of something. There are lots of things to be afraid of in this world. Fear of  relationships, loss of money, loss of jobs, loss of love ones, many things to fear . The worst fear most have is the fear of death no one wants to die. We all want live as long as possible here on earth no one wants to face death. But it is something we all are going to confront sooner or later. But the good news is we really don’t have to die at all. We have the promise of eternal life by believing on Jesus Christ. When we invite Jesus into our hearts and trust in Him we will never have to face the fear of death again.

John 5:24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

Psalm 34:4-I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.

Psalm 118:6-The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
