Keeping Pace
We have all probably heard where did all the time go? It seems the older we get the faster time goes. We are living in such a fast paced world that even the younger people are having a hard time keeping up. There seems to be so much to do. I know to many who have quit making time for God, family and church. It is just work, run, sports, play, everything except God. There is certainly nothing wrong with recreation, or work we all have to work, and a little play time is good for the soul. But we sure need to make time for God and family and church. Or we may wind up wondering where the time went when Jesus comes back..Mark 13:26-27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory.:27 And then shall he send forth the angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

Of Great Service
We had a great worship service at Hampton Heights Baptist Church Sunday. Great time of praise, worship, and Preaching . I give God all the praise for these two great services. We are looking forward to Gods next assignment. Psalm 13:5 But I have trusted in Your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. 13:6 I will sing to Jehovah, because He has rewarded me.

Gods Word Is Sure.
For ye were as sheep gone astray, but are now returned unto the shepherd and bishop of your souls. 1 Peter 2:25.. Isn’t it wonderful to know God always keeps his promises? Throughout the Old Testament, God promised to, send a Great Shepherd. God kept his Word. Prophecy after prophecy was fulfilled those long ago days at Bethlehem and Calvary. Our Shepherd came, and God has promised He is coming again to take us to a place He has prepared. Based on that assurance fellow believers I can hardly wait to meet you in glory!

Totally In Charge
One of the worst things that we could ever do in this time of troubles and anxiety is forget who is totally in charge. Jesus is still in charge, we may think that money and power are what it takes to rule. Not so. Money may rule on earth but guess what! it is not worth a hill of salt in Heaven.Think about it if there is nothing to buy, money is totally worthless. I wonder if all these money crazy investors and millionaires ever think what would happen if God decided to destroy everything that we are so desperately seeking to buy with money?..Hebrews 13:5- Be ye free from the love of money content with such things as ye have: for himself hath said, I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee.[KJV]

Live As One In Christ
While we must not sacrifice our cherished biblical beliefs, we can find common ground with Christians of many denominational or nondenominational persuasions. Rather than dwelling on things that separate us from other Christians, we can seek the things we have in common. A divided body of Christ does not draw lost people to Him.We should all join together as Christians to stand tall for the right to practice what we as Christians believe according to Gods Word the Holy Bible. John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. [KJV]

The Promise
There is is a light at the end of the tunnel ,there is hope for every one who believes, there is the promise that Jesus made to all of us. Light- John 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Hope- John 14:1 Let your heart not be troubled: ye believe in God believe also in me.14:2 In my fathers house are many mansions if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And here is the promise. 14:3- And if I go and prepare a place for you. I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am you may be also. What a wonderful promise, to know that someday soon if we believe in Jesus, repent and be baptized, and follow His commandments we will be with Him forever.
