Army of God
History tells us that after Pyrrhus had defeated the Romans, he
looks around and said,” another victory like this and I shall be
ruined.” The incident has given us the phrase Pyrrhic victory, which
means a success gained at heavy cost. Fighting in the army of God
against forces of evil can be very costly. However, no matter what it
cost to fight the battle, the Christian soldier can never finally
suffer loss because he is making an investment in eternity.
1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight for the faith; take hold of
eternal life that you were called to and have made a good confession
about in the presence of many witnesses. [HCSB]

Troubled Times
For many of us every day is a struggle to survive. We are moving
in such a fast paced world that it seems that their is never enough
time, money, or ourselves to go around. Some times it is just to much to
handle and we fall. But there is always someone that will pick us up.
If we will only trust in Him. His name is Jesus. He is the only true
source of hope and peace we have in these troubled times. Let us turn to
Jesus today.
Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer
and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to
God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will
guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Keep on Walking
How easy it is to get caught up in empty rituals, just going
through the motions of religiosity. If we want to enhance our worship
beyond ritual, we can. This is accomplished by continuing to grow in the
likeness of Jesus. We can honor Him and walk with Him. May we keep on
walking.
Amos 5:21 I hate, I despise your feasts!I can’t stand the stench of your solemn assemblies.

Serve Only God
All through the years the call of Christ and our willingness to
serve Him has brought a powerful advocate into our lives so that we
don’t have to fight the battle with Satan by ourselves. Christ walks
with us He protects us from the evil one; and He never leaves us
standing alone cornered by the tempter. Jesus recognized Satan as the
enemy and employed the scriptures as His powerful response. These power
loaded scriptures are available for us today.Trust in God He cares for
all. And by all means trust in His Word the Holy Bible.
Luke 4:8 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan!
For it is written,You shall worship the Lord your God,and Him only you
shall serve.’

provide all the solutions to our needs. Allow Him to fight for you

Exodus 14:14 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. Happy Fathers Day!

Nothing to Hard
Most believers are aware, on some level, that we worship a
sovereign , all powerful God. Do we really believe, however, that
nothing is to hard for God? Paul said concerning God’s power, “Now unto
him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or
think” [Eph. 3:20] Let us take God at His Word.
Jeremiah 32:27 “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me? [New King James Version]

Right Time
Coming to grips with our limitations and God’s sovereignty,
recognizing our place in creation and the Creator ‘s exquisite design,
leads to less stressful living and more satisfaction. Finding
fulfillment in our daily tasks and joy in a job well done honors God.
God, in His wisdom, placed each of us on the earth at this particular
time. What a beautiful realization!
Ecclesiastes 3:11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time:
also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out
the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. [KJV]

God’s great Makeover
One of God’s best known makeovers is that of Saul of Tarsus, a
persecutor of early Christians who became Paul the apostle/missionary
after coming to Jesus. His steadfast commitment to Christ made him one
of the most influential leaders of all time. Jesus can take a life
blotted by sin and make it beautiful when it is yielded to Him.
Acts 9:22 But Saul increased all the more in strength, and
confounded the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this Jesus is
the Christ. [NKJV]
