QUESTIONS??
Why can't we reach the unsaved? While some are being led to Christ. many, many more are not heeding the call. Have we made church to much like a business? Are we not ministering the true Gospel? Do we focus more on membership than leading the lost to Christ? Are we to busy with our own activity's to fellowship with new converts? These are just a few questions that we might ask ourselves. Maybe we need to rethink the way we are ministering to lost ones. Maybe we should look at our walk with the Lord and be sure we are practicing what we preach...John 3:15-18 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. :17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

A THANK YOU
I would like to thank all of my Christian friends here at the blog site for all of the kind words and prayers during this time of loss and pain. I love my sis very much and am truly going to miss her. I know that she was a Christian and that she is with our Saviour Jesus Christ now. I have comfort in that. Thanks again for all your kindness. [Bro Larry]

THE HOMECOMING
We had our homecoming today at church, and it was a great day of worship food and music. I couldn't help but think though, that one day there will be the greatest homecoming of all time.Jesus will come and call all His children home for the last time. There we will be with Him forever more. No pain, or sorrow, just singing and worshiping our Lord. What a day that will be.I am looking foward to it what about you?...John 14:1-4 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. :3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. :4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

SAD TIME
Sorry I havent been very sociable lately. It has been a very sad time for our family. We lost my dear sister at the age of fifty. I know we are not the only ones who suffer these kind of losses. But that doesn't stop the hurt. I firmly believe that God knows what is best for all who believe on Him and. I will continue to put my faith and trust in Him.. There is no one greater than our Lord and Savious Jesus Christ. If anyone reads this and does not have Jesus in their heart I pray you will ask for forgivness and accept Christ as your saviour before it is to late....John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

GODS WAY
Sometimes we wonder why things happen the way they do. Why some families are hit so hard with different tragedies and others seem to go through life with out a lot of grief or heartache. But we have to realize that Gods way and our way may not be the same. While we see only here and now God sees the big picture. Even though I am about to loose my sister at 50 yrs old to acute liver failure. I know God knows best and I will trust Him. I will miss her dearly but I have peace knowing that she is a Christian and will be in the arms of our Lord....My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen me according to thy word. Psalm 119:28

FAMILY
Our family has really had a rough time this week. We found mother Sunday she had been in the floor from 2:00 am until 8:00 am she suddenly lost the strength in her legs and could not walk. She had a stay in the hospital and is better thank the LORD. Then we got a call from my brother in law in VA. telling us that our sister was in critical condition in the hospital. She has liver failure and kidney failure and it sure doesn't look good for her. She is on dialyses now and also life support. I request that everyone would pray with us for my sister and mother. Thanks and may God Bless...... Bro Larry.
