Wait on God
In our quests for spiritual resources and results, as Christians
we have only one source for what we need. We can’t stop by the
neighborhood store and grab some heavenly peace form a bin of self help
ideas and religious theories. Our best efforts can’t produce a secure
future or seamless self control. When we are bombarded with worries and
fears we’ll find a front row seat for God’s miracles when we are in
God’s presence.
Psalm 62:5My soul, wait in silence for God only, For my hope is from Him. NASB

Characteristic Age
It is It is characteristic of our age to over indulge in food, to
tax our physical resources with rationalizations of pressing
responsibilities, and to compromise our convictions in the interest of
getting alone with everybody. We shame ourselves into crash diets and
vigorous exercise. We seek shorter hours and longer vacations. We
rationalize our behavior. And we solve many of our problems. However, we
discover that that there are some problems not so easy solved. We
cannot recall a word that is spoken in anger. Nor can we escape the
darkness of a heart filled with hatred and intolerance. Even though we
have experienced the blessings of reasonable health and strength, we
fail to realize the responsibility that goes with them.
He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city. Proverbs 16:32

Ray of Hope
The ray of hope that permeates the darkest cloud comes when one
takes time to to recall God’s mercies. God’s compassion’s never fail.
Occasionally when we watch the news, it appears that the world is coming
apart. When things seem the darkest, you can turn tragedy into a
triumph of faith by remembering God’s faithfulness. His unchanging
constancy is the only foundation for facing the circumstances of life.
Lamentations 3:22 It is of the Lord‘s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. KJV

World of Uncertainty
We live in a world of uncertainty. Where do we put our trust? in
banks,? In governments,? in people? As a child of God, we can live in
absolute certainty that nothing-nothing- can ever separate us from our
Fathers love. Our fears and vulnerability of this world can be replaced
with confidence. Our lives are over shadowed by the protective and
loving hands of our Father.
Romans 8:35 Who shall
separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or
persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? ESV

Personal Accountability
Once we own up to our personal accountability, repent of our sin,
and receive Christ, our burden bearer, He lifts the burden from our
shoulders. All heavy laden people can be set free from the burden of
their sin through faith in Jesus. That’s the gospel; that’s the good
news. As a follower of Jesus we can enter this burden lifting process.
Are you ready to enter this burden lifting process? Just put your trust
in Jesus Christ.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble
in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:29 NIV

Strength That Matters
Many of us would agree that we don’t have the strength , stamina,
or physical health to compete safely in events like the Iron man events.
Our strength is to limited to for such difficult and demanding physical
challenge.. There is however a strength that does not involve swimming,
biking, or running. We can’t gain this strength by lifting weights or
pushing our selves physically. This strength however is available to
every believer, it comes from God’s Holy Spirit dwelling inside of us.
How wonderful to know that even if we are at our weakest in physical
strength, we can experience God’s strength in our life.
Ephesians 3:16that He
would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be
strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,

God Listens
Perhaps you know or have known a person that has made you feel as
if you were the most important person in the world when talking with
you. Such attention is a precious gift to give someone. God has infinite
ability to lend us His undistracted ear. The conviction that God is
always listening is strong encouragement to pray. Such awareness brings
shame when we think of how much we neglect talking to God.We should make
talking to God a life long practice.
Psalm 116:2 I will call on Him as long as I live, because He has turned His ear to me. NLV
