Follow Jesus
The Apostle Peter knew the reality of suffering for Christ. He had experienced the vibrant birth of the church and witnessed its daily growth only to see it scattered in the wake of persecution. For even hereunto were ye called; because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps. 1 Peter 2:21.. Remembering Christs promise of such injustice..Matt. 5:11..Blessed are ye when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and lay all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake…..Peter understood that salvation was free and that discipleship carried a great price. In light of Christs suffering, Peter considered believers’ suffering to be a privilege– an opportunity to walk in Jesus steps..Have we committed ourselves to follow Christ regardless of the cost? Thank God today for the privilege of sharing in Christ’s suffering, and daily ask for strength to glorify Him as we endure.

In A Spirit Of Humility
Sometimes when we try to be the best, we’re often dismayed to find there is always someone smarter more successful than we are, so we become discouraged , disappointed that we are second place.–second best. John the Baptist understood second place, following Jesus, who was his superior in every way. His life’s purpose was to prepare the way for Jesus. Yet he never viewed his role as second best. Rather, he understood the honor of an unworthy servant being chosen for such a task. What fulfilment and freedom he found in humility. We too can find fulfilment by faithfully following Jesus and being content in our God-given tasks, even though they may not seem as important as others tasks. We need to humbly submit to Jesus and experience His freedom and fulfilment, and be happy in what we do..And preached, saying There comes one mightier than I after me the latchet of who’s shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose. MARK 1:7….

BY WORSHIPING HIM
And when they were come into the house, they saw a young child with Mary his mother, and fell down and worshiped him; and when they had opened their treasures, they presented them gifts; gold and frankincense, and myrrh. Matthew 2:11....There was nothing convenient about whe wise men's worship. they traveled many miles, made countless inquiries , and followed His star faithfully because the King was worthy of their devotion. throughly prepared with gift in hand, they were surprised only by the glory of His presence; and they fell in adoration before Him. Lets all worship our Lord and Savior this Christmas. And if your church has a worship service, make it convenient to attend and worship Him. From Bro Larry to all of you

BLESSED BY GODS GRACE
And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou who art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. Luke 1:28. Lots of books and songs have been written about Mary the mother of Jesus. Many stories have been told, and many girls have been named after her. Schools and hospitals have been named in her honor. She’s been praised and worshiped, and talked about through the ages. But one of the best gifts she left to the world is her humility in accepting Gods grace. How does this relate to us today? The story of Jesus birth is a story of Gods grace to all of us.We are all recipients of Gods grace. The true gift is the one that is pleasing to God and comes from Him because of Gods grace. With Jesus as the greatest gift, then we must accept that Jesus’ coming is the greatest example of Gods grace. Mary knew firsthand Gods grace………… Luke 1:31 And behold! You shall conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call His name JESUS.

Joseph Just Obeying
…Joseph set a good example of being just and obeying the laws. He obeyed God’s messenger and excepted Mary as his beloved wife, and thus, was part of the greatest event the world has ever known–The birth of our Saviour The Lord Jesus Christ. When we obey God, we are co laborers with every Christian who shares the Christmas story; and God includes us in His salvation plan.==Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife. Matthew 1:24

NEW COVENENT
Nothing that is Godly and right will come out of us unless the Lord puts it there . Without the Lords help our actions and attitudes will be tinted with sin. this is why our relationship with Christ is such good news. God puts new desires and thoughts inside of us. Then when people push our buttons what comes out are the reactions and feelings of God Himself. But this shall be the new covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD,I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jeremiah 31:33-

A LIGHT TO THE GENTILES
For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the Earth....Acts 13:47-- Paul and Barnabas were greatly familiar with the scriptures, they had studied the prophets and listened to rabbis. In their personal time with God a verse from Isaiah jumped out at them. Through this passage God provided guidance for these new missionaries. He helped them find a solution to their problem. Their path through life was clarifed as they turned their attention to sharing the gospel with all peoples..Does the Bible give direction for our own personal future?. Sure it does. it is the instruction manual for all people. Jesus tells us in the Bible for his followers to be his witnesses, unto the uttermost parts of the earth Acts 1:8-But ye shall recieve power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Sama'ria and unto the uttermost part of the earth.--- Which means that we should be dedicated to telling others about Jesus. We should all be ready to share the gospel as widely as possible.

WATCH AND PRAY
Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.Mark 14:38…….Our Lord wants us to notice that the possibility of sin is lurking around every corner. He wants us to be on the lookout and in constant communication with the Father, who sees everything, so that temptation does not catch us off guard Watch carfully for what might be slipping up on you today. We need to ask God to help and lead us. So we can experience the true victory in our lifes.

Walk In the Spirit
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit. Romans 8:1… In Romans 8:1, Paul Encourages us not to follow the wrong things in Life, But encourages us to always walk after the things of the spirit. Today take a good look at what or whom you are following, choose to turn your back on the flesh and walk after the spirit. As we get into the Christmas season we should all remember to celebrate it as Christs birth day. After all this is what it is all about.
