Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2 NKJV

    What Has Happened

I remember when I was growing up that we were taught to be courteous and kind to our elders, not to steal or cheat or abuse or any of the things that is going on today We sure have come a long way since then. No Morales do what you want to whom ever you please.  Oh yes there were and have always been bad people. But we have become a tolerant society. Things we didn’t put up with then is tolerated now because we might offend someone. If you look at history every society that has become to tolerant failed. The teaching has to begin at home and I’m afraid that is where we are failing badly. If I am doing drugs or alcohol or doing other things that are not right how am I going to teach my children not to do these things. We need to get back to a family and put morality back in our lives. Then and only then can we become a decent God fearing society like we once were. Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, do it enthusiasticaly, as somthing done for the Lord not for men. Read all of Colossians 3rd chapter.

    Guardian

    October 27th, 2007

My nephew had a real bad wreck Wed night totaled his car. The motor was in the front seat. When rescue got there they had to cut him out of the car, they got him out and said we have to get the other one out: to which he replied there is no one else in the car. The fireman said yes there is I saw another person in the car. My nephew was the only one in the car, and was hurt pretty bad but not life threatening. When the state trooper got there he also asked him where the other person was that was in the car, to which he replied again, I was the only one in the car.  The trooper said someone’s head hit the windshield on the passenger’s side. My nephew was truly the only one in the car. He should have been killed but was not. He told his mother at the hospital that he had a guardian angel watching over him. he was saved a few years ago but turned back to his old ways. Maybe God has a plan for him that he ought to heed to. What do you think? ..Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. Psalm37:24

    PRAISE

Psalms 150: 1 Praise ye the Lord. praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in the firmament of his power.:2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according his excellent greatness. :3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with psaltery and harp.:4 Praise him with timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.:5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals; praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.:6 Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.   I just want to praise the Lord for all that He has given me. the beautiful fall colors the air we breath the sky the stars the moon the sun. everything that we enjoy on this earth God has given to us. And as beautiful as our Lord made earth I can't imagine what heaven will be like. And I know if we trust in Jesus and believe, that some day we will find out. Praise to our Heavenly Father

    Merciful and Gracious

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. Psalm 103:11....The word mercy means kindness. It is also deprived from a Hebrew word that means to bow the neck as to an equal. Our holy and sovereign God humbles Himself. He bends over to help us and be kind to us. What a tender picture that is. What an awesome God and loving Father we have. Not only is God merciful, but His mercy is also immeasureble toward those who fear Him. He longs to be approached and has made the effort to be approachable. Will you come near?

    HOMECOMING 2007

We had our homecoming at church today. We had  a great time of praise and worship. We had a great message by Bro Rodney Clingan, great food , and music by the Victory Singers. I always look foward to our church services, But home coming is always special. Seems like every body just wants to have a good time in the LORD. fellowship with each other, and praise the LORD Instead of rushing out the door soon as church is over. Some times we don't get to people to speak to them fast enough. because before we can get to them they are out the door and gone. Scared the church is going to fall I suppose' Anyway  we had a great day of worship wish you all could have been there. Psalms 96:1-4 O sing unto the LORD a new song. all the earth. 2 Sing unto the LORD bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.3 Declare his glory among the heathen. his wonders among all people. 4 For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods.

    Gods Blessings on all

    GODS GREAT OFFER

God offers everyone an invitation to come and be with him to turn away from the things of the world and drink of the living waters.....Isa 5o :1-3 Come all ye who are thirsty come to the waters; and you who have no money come buy and eat! Come buy wine and milk without money without cost. 2- Why spend money on what is not bread. and your labor on what does not satisfy. Listen ,listen to me and eat what is good. and your soul will delight in the richest of fare. 3-Give ear and come to me hear me that your soul may live. I will make an everlasting covenent with you..{NIV}..Jesus said over in John 4:14..but whosoever drinketh  of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. John 7:37-In the last day , the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying if any man  thirst let him come unto me , and drink.(KJV)........What a great offer God has  for all no matter who you are or where you come from rich or poor to drink of the living water .The water of everlasting life. I wont to drink that water and be full...Romans 6:23-For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Saviour.

    REMEMBERING OTHERS

I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day. 2Timothy 1:3... As Paul prayed for Timothy he furnished us with a good example of remembering others in prayer. Just think how blessed Timothy was to have Paul pray for him on a regular basis. When we pray for others our thoughts may well travel down two distinct paths. We might think first of those to whom we can have a ministry through prayer. Prayer is one way we can bear others burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. [Gal.6:2].  Then we might recall those who have prayed for us in the past and who do so now, How blessd we are when that happens.

    The Lord Is Gracious

Where would we be  without the Lord's tender mercies? What would happen to us if our Lord's heart were not overflowing with compassion toward us? every memory of His work in our lives shouts this great truth  He is gracious and full of compassion. ... He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion. Psalm 111:4

    GOD ALWAYS DOES BEST

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him. Luke 11:3..The Lord Jesus does not experiance the limitations of our sinful lives. He loves us with perfect love and perfect wisdom , an unbeatable combination. His gifts constantly poured out toward us, flow from this perfect love and perfect wisdom. Surely, when we seek the most wondeful of all gifts, His presence through the Holy Spirit, He gladly responds. May every one have a blessed Sunday

    AN HEIR WITH CHRIST

All who are saved through Jesus Christ become part of the Father's eternal family. We become His daughters and sons, and Jesus is our Elder Brother. Being family means we share in the sorrows of our Fathers heart and the pains of our Elder Brother. To withhold ourselves from sharing in our Fathers and Brothers griefs is to withdraw from the full experiance of being a child of God. As children of our Father we also share in His triumphs and glories. While we experiance some of this now, we lookforward to the time when all creation is brought to worship and obey Jesus.. As the Fathers heart soars with the adoration given His Son by the cosmos so our hearts will soar.-- Romans 8:17.. And if children, then heirs; of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. >>> My Website has a new look check it out   Bro Larrys Ministries

    GODS GIFT

    THE GREAT GIFT

The great gift that God has given us is being able to call on His name, and by his loving grace we are saved through faith. And the blood of Jesus  being crucified on the cross, and dying for our sins, that whosoever should call on his name would not perish but have everlasting life. What a great gift. Ephesians 2:4-8  But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us.5-Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickend us together with Christ [by grace ye are saved.] 6-And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.7-That in the ages to come he might shew the exceding riches of his grace in his kingdom toward us through Christ Jesus.8- For by grace are ye saved through faith: and that not of yourselfs: it is the gift of God.  Praise God for this great gift.

    WE HAVE A COMFORTER

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost. whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26... Sweet memories can bring great comfort to us. Maybe its some chidhood memories or when we were in school, maybe of loved ones that have passed on. Lots of thngs can leave great memories in our life, and give us great comfort. Jesus promised a comforter far better than even a sweet memory. He promised to come to us in the person of His Spirit, and residing within, remind us of His words. The Comforter helps us hear the silent but sure voice of the Lord. If we are troubled we can grow quiet and listen for His wonderful voice.

    REVIVED

    THOUGHT FOR TODAY

    Psalms 51:9-13

9-Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities

10- Create in me a clean heart. O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

11-Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

12- Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

13- Then will I teach transgressors thy ways and sinners shall be converted unto thee

We all need a revival in our hearts once in a while, and to remember what the love

of Jesus is all about. Praise Him for ever more

    SAME SPIRIT

1 Corinthians 12:4-7 Now there are diversities of gifts but the same spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations but the same Lord. 6 And there are diviersities of operations. but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the spirit is given to every man to profit withal. What Paul is saying is although we may have different ways of worshiping. As long as we are worshiping the same Lord. The same spirit is made known to all. We are all Gods children if we believe that God gave His only begotten Son for all our sins and repent.. I am glad I have been washed in the Blood Of The Lamb. I once was lost but now am found was blind but now I see.

    Accepting Gods Will

And He went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. Matthew 26:39. Though Jesus was completely divine and wanting to do Gods will, He was also fully human and dreaded the pain and humillation He would have to face. Fortunately for the sake of sinful humanity, Jesus chose to accept the Fathers will. Life can bring many difficult times. There are many crossroads, causing us to wonder which way to go. Sometimes the pathway is clear. Other times we must seek to find Gods will in prayer and then be willing to do it. He alone knows the future and what is best for us. Why should we doubt?
