Believing
Do we really believe? do we have faith that God will see us through all our problems if we will trust in him. We all have our share from time to time; sickness, finances, family problems, all kinds of circumstances that we just can't seem to handle on our own. If we will just trust and have faith in God, and truly believe; as Christians, He will give us the ability to seek out the answers, and will take care of our needs according to His will. Matthew. 7:7-8 Ask and it shall be given you, seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you. 8-For every one that asketh recieveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. So first we have to turn them over to God. Second we have to let God give us the answers. And third we have to really believe that God will take care of them. Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29- Take my yoke upon you,and learn of me; for I am meek and lowely in heart and ye shall find peace in your souls. 30- For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Praise the LORD for taking our burdens, if we will just ask.

THE WORD OF CHRIST
Colossians 3:15-17 15- And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body: and be ye thankful. 16- Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom: teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs singing with grace in your hearts into the Lord. 17- And what so ever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Paul was saying was to let the peace of God rule in our hearts and be thankful for everything God has done for us. And to let the word of Christ which is the gospel to lead as we teach, worship, sing, or to up lift one another by the grace of God. And finally what ever we do to do it in the name of the Lord and to always give him the thanks only He deserves. Psalms111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandents his praise endureth for ever.

Prodigal Son
And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journy into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. Luke 15:13...The prodigal son had to learn this lesson. Wanting freedom from family restraints, he demanded his share of his daddys estate and took off. Boy did he learn fast! Soon he was out of finances, fun and friends, bogged down in brothels and putrid pig pens. Some freedom this was! Ah but it's a picture of the whole human race. Created to be in Gods family, we are prone to swap this privilage for a false freedom that will rob us of our place in our Fathers house.

Eternal Friend
Some one that is our eternal friend laid down His life for us. Is denied, ridiculed, hated, but still is willing to forgive. Jesus does this because He cares that much. Jesus said I would that none would perish but that all would have eternal life. Our Lord wants all to be saved. Yes we have a lot to loose. But look at the gain, If we believe on Jesus our precious Saviour. and repent.-- John 12:25-26 He that loveth his life shall loose it; he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto eternal life. We have to seek after eternal life more than what this life on earth has to offer. 26- If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am there shall also my servant be. If any man serve me; him will my Father honor. Praise Jesus for ever more.

RESTORE
When life caves in, you do not need reasons, you need comfort. you do not need answers; you need someone. And Jesus does not come to us with an explanation; he comes to us with his presence We are always seeking the reason. We wont to know why. Like Job, we finally want God to tell us what is going on...But God does not reveal. He reveals himself. He comes to us as warmth when we are cold, fellowship when we are alone, strength when we are week, peace when we are troubled, courage when we are afraid, songs when we are sad, and bread when we are hungry. He is with us on our journeys, he is there when we are home. He sits with us at our table. He knows about funerals and weddings and commencements and hospitals and jails and unemployment and labor and laughter and rest and tears. He knows because he is with us. He comes to us again and again. [Bob Benson]

God Is Our Salvation
What is the absolutely worst think you've ever done? Maybe we should define worst. Have you ever been convicted of a crime? No? You must not be to bad. Does anyone hate you? No? So you must be a nice person. But everyone has made mistakes and has a past defined on human scale. We all have sinned against God. He knew we would fall to temptations, but sent His Son to die for us anyway. On our best days we are for from Gods prefection. Human logic defies an answer to why God would give up His Son to suffer for sinners. The answer is love. Toward the sinner who tells a little white lie to the one who is most destitude and corrupt, God commends His love. Thats the God who we serve. He is our salvation!... [But God commandeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8]

Good News God Forgives
Do you need some good news? After all the fatal attractions that we hear about everyday. Lust, adultry, wrong companions, gossip, materialism, and envy. All which are called sin in the Bible. God is holy, and sin separates us from Him. Sin can be forgiven if we are truly sorry [repent], tell God about it [confess], and believe. He will forgive us through the Lord Jesus Christ. The good news of the gospel is that God provided salvation from sin when He sent His only Son to die on the cross. May we all walk in Gods love, forgiveness peace and joy. We will be blessed. I believe people we relate to will be blessed also...... If we confess our sins, he is just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteouness 1 John 1:9

God Is Our Refuge
The word trouble looks like the word truth that has been twisted in the teeth of some cruel monster. Trouble has an ugly sound and seems impossible to say with a lifting voice. This unwanted creature locks its vicious jaws onto all our lives at various times. We have troubles. We are troubled. God is the shelter into which we can flee; and though trouble may roar and foam just outside it cannot get in to devour our faith and hope. God is infinitely stronger than than the greatest of our troubles, and He makes us strong to endure until the trouble beast goes away. God is present, closer than any trouble can ever come to us. No trouble can come as near as the lovely presence of our Lord who is our constant help. Indeed God is our refuge, strength and help. Trouble sometimes growels ferociously and makes our paths difficult; but if we hide in God, then troubles hinch men, fear and despair, cannot destroy us.....God is our refuge and our strength, a very plesent help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

CONFIDENCE IN CHRIST
It is so great to know that as long as we have confidence in Jesus Christ that one day we will be called up to heaven to stand by his side and witness all his glory, and dwell with him for ever and ever. II Corinthians-5:5-9--5-Now he that hath wrought us for the self same thing is God. who also hath given unto us the earnest of the spirit.6-Therefore we are always confident. knowing that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord. 7-For we walk by faith not by sight. 8-We are confident, I say and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9-Wherefore we labor that, Whether present or absent. We may be accepted of him. I am glad to have that confidence to know that some day He will come back and claim his children, which I am glad to be called one of his. A child of God. Praise His Holy Name.

He Is The God Of Glory
I sometimes wonder if our prayer time sounds like a Santa Claus list of I wants. So many of us live such a hurried lives our model prayer is : our Father and so forth, your will be done. But make it quick. Thanks for the bread. Don't give me more than I can handle. Keep the bad people at someone else's office. Get me home. Yo know the rest, Amen." We need to set down and thank God. Not for big things, like health, family, and home. What about the little things?-- The air conditioning in the summer, a child who can run and laugh, a car that runs, a grandparent who is able to see a grandchild graduate from kindergarten, or childhood friends. We ought to make it a purpose of our prayers to thank God for at least 10 things each day. We will be amazed how looking at life thriugh thankful eyes will keep our focus on Gods glory. And when we pray with a thankful heart we will live with a thankful heart, declaring His wonders among all people... Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. Psalm 96:3

Just Ask
Seems like we are under more stress today than ever before. There are so many things to deal with. Money problems, health problems. marriage problems, world problems, children, parents, church ,and it goes on and on. Some turn to alcohol others to drugs some to violence and many other ways to try to forget these problems. The only way I can deal with my problems is to turn to our Lord Jesus Christ.. Jesus said I will never leave you or forsake you. He is always there for us. And the great part is all we have to do is ask.. Blessed be God which hath not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me. Psalm 66:20.

Prsaise God Persistently
Gods Word tells us that there are rewards when we keep on praising Him. To focus on all He is, how He provides for us, and how He fulfills His promises helps us maintain healthy states of mind and emotions. We need to remember that He is worthy of praise even if everything is not perfect as we think it should be..... From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lords name is to be praised. Psalm 113:3

Just Being Nice
I was at the local market and I had a lot of items in my buggy. A young lady was patiently waiting behind me in line, and behind me was a older man both only had a couple of items.I moved aside and told them to go ahead of me because they didn't have much to check out They both looked very surprised, but eagerly stepped up and checked out. Before they went out the door they both turned and with a big smile said thank you. The older man said this don't happen very often. I felt blessed that day. Sometimes little things we do can make a big difference in someones life. Just being kind and and nice... He that followeth after righteouness and mercy findeth life, righteoness and honour. Proverbs 21:21.
