Love or Hate?
We have a great need today for something we here a lot about in the Bible. Love! I see so much hatred in our lives today, hate for family members, people of different race, different political views, different religious beliefs, and it goes on and on. While we may not agree with a lot of these issues we must not have hate in our hearts. Love for one another is the second greatest commandment Jesus gave us to live by. Hate will destroy our relationship with God and our loved ones. We will never have the peace that God wants us to have as long as we have hatred in our hearts. As hard as it may sometimes be we must strive to love the ones who do us harm. Matthew 5:43-44 You have heard that it was said, “You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.”44 But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you,

Weeding Out
If you grew up on a farm or with a garden, you learned to despise weeds. Hours of working in the broiling sun with a hoe in your hands helped to sympathize with farmers who will do anything to get rid 0f the things. Over the years the attempts to kill them have included some strong pesticides that killed not only the weeds but also good crops. The pesticides even endangered our health. Truth is some weeds are quite useful, producing nectar for bees, improving the soils nutrients even providing food for some salads. You might ask Bro Larry what has this got to do with God or the Bible well in the divine plan of the Father, everything has its purpose. Other weeds will show their true colors at the harvest. Jesus made that point in His parable. Our job isn’t to identify those we consider the weeds and judge them as such. Only He will judge who is gathered to heaven and who is tossed in the fire. Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest. And in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, First gather together the darnel and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my granary.

Be Generous
He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and that he is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. Luke 16:10... Our Heavenly Father is so wise. He will not overgift us, lest we become boastful, thinking ourselves to be providers. Bur He is generous. He even knows what we need before we ask! Our wealth is not determined by how much we have, but how little we need after depending on God.

Live As One In Christ
While we must not sacrifice our cherished biblical beliefs, we can find common ground with Christians of many denominational or undenominational persuasions. Rather than dwelling on things that separate us from other Christians, we can seek the things we have in common. A divided body of Christ does not draw lost people to Him.–That they all may be one; as thou Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. John 17:21. Father , I join Your children of many persuasions in praying that true revival may come.
