Resist the Devil
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.. James 4:7.... How can we remain victorious when sin lures us away from doing what we know is right? The answer is to submit to our Heavenly Father. If we yield ourselves totally to Him, He will take control of our thoughts. Then the desire for sin will fade away.>>>> Dear God, I wont to focus on you. Help me to resist temptation to sin even in this day.

Jesus Will Return
Which also said, ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven Acts 1:11..... The disciples probably had never seen anything quite like the ascension. Like you and i if we had been there they were likely just as wide eyed, and trying to convince themselves they were not going insane, as we would have been had we been there. God used these ordinary men in mighty ways. Shortly after the ascension, the disciples preached at a event known as Pentecost and performed many other miracles. Just like the disciples we have a job to do. Jesus is comeing back, and He wants us to go with Him. One day He will split the eastern sky with a shout. However He dosen't want us standing around in a daze trying to be the first one to see it happen. He expects us to get to work. He wants us to be prepared. Our job is to tell everyone possible how to make the trip. "Jesus Will Return"

The Joy Of Children
But when Jesus saw it, He was much dipleased, and said unto them , suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Mark 10: 14....... Have you ever noticed how much more alive a church or home seems when it is filled with children running laughing, playing, and learning. It just seems like something is missing from a church when there are no children present.Jesus was much displeased when He discovered the disciples were keeping the children from approaching Him. He knew it was the childlike faith, childlike joy,, and childlike acceptance, that people needed to see to understand the relationship that there is between a loving Heavenly Father and the people He longs to embrace. Children may sap our strength test our patience; but they also provide the energy and enthusisam to brighten even the darkest days. We had four Baptized tonight, for which we praise the Lord. "This Is The Joy Of Children"

United States Map
You may have read this before but I thought it was worth sharing. United States Map A father wanted to read a magazine but was being bothered by his little girl, Shelby. She wanted to know what the United States looked like. Finally, he tore a sheet out of his new magazine on which was printed the map of the country. Tearing it into small pieces, he gave it to Shelby and said, "Go into the other room and see if you can put this together. This will show you our whole country today." After a few minutes, Shelby returned and handed him the map, correctly fitted and taped together. The father was surprised and asked how she had finished so quickly. "Oh," she said, "on the other side of the paper is a picture of Jesus. When I got all of Jesus back where He belonged, then our country just came together." Amen.

A Second Chance
This fast paced world has a vicious motto. Grab the gold ring while you can. Tommorow will be to late. In the rat race of business, only a few employers overlook a mistake of judgement or a wrong decision. There rule is do it right thr first time. We are not programmed to waste time by making errors. Perhaps you have been under a supervisior who did not tolerate errors. Have you ever wished that you could find a place called The Land Of Beginning Again? It would be one where all our mistakes, heartaches, and regrets coudld be dropped like a shabby old coat and never put on again. Listen! such a place does exsist. It began in the heart of God and reached its climax at Calvary and the empty tomb. Its key word is forgiveness. Are you carrying with you the burden of faliure? You cannot change the past; but you can with Gods help, with God, map a new future. Do not weep for precious chances passed away. No defeat is final. A glorious future awaits us if you claim the resources God has provided for us.....And the Lord spoke unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land. Jonah 2:10. Just like Jonah we too can have a second chance. From my website>> http://brolarrys.page.tl

Salvation Is Through Christ.
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Acts 16:31.... While methods and techniques vary widely for many undertakings, there is only one way to reach heaven to spend eternity with God. Jesus is that Way,and He is the Truth and the Life. All He asks is that we believe. He has taken care of everything else. How we do many things in this life just dosen't matter when it comes down to whats really important related to eternity. Jesus is the One and only Way. Thats the truth worth telling >In Gods Love.<

RIGHTEOUS
Righteous art thou O LORD, And upright are thy judgements Psalm 119:137.... This passage of scripture reminds us that our God is righteous. His righteousness will not end. You and I can be upright for a period of time, but we cannot maintain that forever. He can. He is just and and honorable. He acts according to what is right. His judgements are right. Who better to judge than He who knows the hearts of all people? When we are worried or angered when something isn't right, we need to just take it to the Lord. He is righteous always . He knows what is true, and His judgements are based upon truth. As did the psalmist, we neeed to trust Gods nature, delight in His Word, and ask for understanding. In Gods Love.

Word Of Christ
The Word Of Christ--Colossians 3:15-17.. 15-And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body: and be ye thankful. 16- Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom: teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs singing with grace in your hearts into the Lord. 17- And what so ever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Paul was saying was to let the peace of God rule in our hearts and be thankful for everything God has done for us. And to let the word of Christ which is the gospel to lead as we teach, worship, sing, or to up lift one another by the grace of God. And finally what ever we do to do it in the name of the Lord and to always give him the thanks only he deserves. Psalms111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandents his praise endureth for ever. In Gods Love

One Body Many Gifts
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Ephesians 4:7....Gods first gift of grace is salvific. By grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of youselves: it is the gift of God: not of works lest any man should boast [Eph. 2:8-9]. This salvific grace gift is the same for every believer; it brings saved people together into one body, the church, of which Jesus Christ is the head. Gifts of His grace continue as Christ gives to and equips each of His people with various spiritual gifts. Every Christian is spiritually gifted with a particular gift or gifts chosen by Christ. Father I pray to use the gifts you have given for your honor and glory.

Our Great God
O come let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our maker. Psalm 95:6...What moves us to to see Gods greatness? Could it be His goodness to us? His faitfulness? the beauty of nature? Realizing and embraceing Gods greatness will lead us to bow before Him in humble thanksgiving.. Oh Lord my maker, I worship and praise You because You are indeed great.

The Lord Will Uphold You
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. Psalm 37:24... Failures in our business, friendships, marriages, and the likes are really a natural part of life. God knows and anticipates this. He shows us our weaknesses to teach us to rely on His strength. Any time we fail, He can teach us that true advancement comes through His hands. Sometimes we have trouble accepting the truth that God can and wants to lift us out of our failures. We need to remember that Gods people may be knocked down, but we are not knocked out. Regardless of how bad a situation may seem. We can recover with God upholding us Dear Savior, when I fall keep me from being utterly cast down..
