Believing
Do we really believe? do we have faith that God will see us through all our problems if we will trust in him?. We all have our share from time to time; sickness, finances, family problems, all kinds of circumstances that we just can’t seem to handle on our own. If we will just trust and have faith in God, and truly believe; as Christians, He will give us the ability to seek out the answers, and will take care of our needs according to His will. Matthew. 7:7-8 Ask and it shall be given you, seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you. 8-For every one that asketh recieveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. So first we have to turn them over to God. Second we have to let God give us the answers. And third we have to really believe that God will take care of them. Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29- Take my yoke upon you,and learn of me; for I am meek and lowely in heart and ye shall find peace in your souls. 30- For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Praise the LORD for taking our burdens, if we will just ask.

Prodigal Son
The prodigal son had to learn this lesson. Wanting freedom from family restraints, he demanded his share of his daddys estate and took off. Boy did he learn fast! Soon he was out of finances, fun and friends, bogged down in brothels and putrid pig pens. Some freedom this was! Ah but it’s a picture of the whole human race. Created to be in Gods family, we are prone to swap this privilage for a false freedom that will rob us of our place in our Fathers house…And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journy into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. Luke 15:13…What a great story to remind us to be thankful for what we have, It could always be worse...

Allow The Spirit To Work.
18-In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19- Quench not the spirit.1 Thessalonians 5 :18-19.As a young Christian verse 18 puzzled me for I thought some circumstances could never allow one to be thankful. But life has taught me that in every situation, there is always something for which to be thankful. How do we Quence Gods Spirit? I believe one way we quence the spirit is by having an ungrateful attitude. God wants us to worship Him with a thankful and cheerful heart. An ungrateful heart is not likely to be pleasing to the Holy Spirit .One way to be inspired by the Holy Spirit is by taking note of Gods gifts in nature, the blessings we recieve through friends and family, and most of all the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Amen

Become Clean
Ever wonder why young children have a tendency to see how dirty they
can get in a short period of time? No matter how hard you try to keep
them clean for some special occasion seems like they have a magnet that
draws them right back to what caused them to be dirty in the first
place. That is a natural tendency for children. We are the same way when
it come to sin. We have a natural tendency to sin. We have good
intentions of reforming our ways and giving up our favorite sins. But
as soon as the tempter comes into our minds memories of the
so-called good times we had with our sin there we go again like rats
following the piper. What we need is more than cleaning up on the
outside. We need more than to reform . We need new hearts with the
desire for the things of God and not the ways of sin. those new hearts
can come only from God and after we have yielded our hearts to
Him…Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right
spirit within me.

The Invtation
God offers everyone an invitation to come and be with him to turn away
from the things of the world and drink of the living waters…..Isaiah 5o
:1-3 Come all ye who are thirsty come to the waters; and you who have
no money come buy and eat! Come buy wine and milk without money without
cost. 2- Why spend money on what is not bread. and your labor on what
does not satisfy. Listen ,listen to me and eat what is good. and your
soul will delight in the richest of fare. 3-Give ear and come to me
hear me that your soul may live. I will make an everlasting covenant
with you..{NIV}.. John 4:14..but whosoever drinketh of the
water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I
shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into
everlasting life. John 7:37-In the last day , the great day of the
feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying if any man thirst let him come
unto me , and drink.(KJV)……..What a great offer God has for all no
matter who you are or where you come from rich or poor to drink of the
living water .The water of everlasting life. I want to drink that water
and be full…Romans 6:23-For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of
God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Savior

Where Do We Turn?
When we walk through this world we do not have many places to turn when we are down and need help. Whether we are physically or spiritually down we all find ourselves at times in need of the kind of help that only can come from God. Whether in this life or in eternity, the Lord God is dependable, and reliable, and trustworthy. He never lets us down, no matter how critical the time. In Him we never lose we always win…Isaiah 41:10 fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
