Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2 NKJV

Encouraging Words
When God comes into a person’s life, through His Holy Spirit. He
develops our character to mirror His character. He creates in us the
desire to love as He loves. He also creates in us the desire to do good
works–to reflect our salvation to those around us and draw them to
Himself.
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Hebrews 10:24 KJV
God has a word for humankind. God gave us His word-His character, the incarnation of His nature, His very being-when He fulfilled His Old testament promises and sent His Son to dwell among people in human form. Jesus is that Word. The Word brought redemption. Through Him we can have abundant life. He also brought light to dispel the darkness of the world. Let us spend time today with the living Word.
In the beginning was the word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1
Jesus tells us to love our enemies. Such words may turn many away
Christ. Jesus however leads us by example. Jesus loves the whole world,
even though the world may be in rebellion against God. And Jesus asks us
to follow His example by loving no matter the cost. Love means action.
It’s easy to love those who love us, people whom we trust; but love
means doing this even for those who dislike us or want to harm us. Let
us love how Jesus taught us to love: sacrificially and without
expectations.
If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. Luke 6:32 NASB
