He Does Good Work
We can be confident that Jesus Christ does good work. He has done
away with sin past, present, and future. His death on the cross was a
one time event that took care of sin. With the Holy Spirit to help us
deal with present sin and the promise of Jesus’ return, our salvation is
complete past., present, and future. The message of Hebrews is that
Jesus is superlative. He has completed our salvation. And He does good
work.
So Christ was offered
once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will
appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. Hebrews 9:28 NKJV

One in The Father
Unity is one of the most important identifiers for the church.
Jesus said the disciples love for one another would identify them. The
unity of love of this diverse group would mark them as the Lord’s. Unity
doesn’t always come to mind in describing denominations, much less the
universal church. All Christians are founded as one church based on our
one salvation through one Lord. The world does not need us dividing
over nonessential issues, but uniting around the Great Commission.
[Matthew 28:19-20]
one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:6 NKJV

Who Knows Your Heart?
Just as diet and exercise can help heal or prevent physical damage
to our hearts, God’s cleansing and renewal are necessary to heal our
diseased hearts. Jesus came to give us new hearts. Who knows the hearts?
God knows the heart, for He tests it and gives advice.
9“The heart is deceitful above all things,And desperately wicked; Who can know it?
10 I, the Lord, search the heart,I test the mind,Even to give every man according to his ways,
According to the fruit of his doings. Jeremiah 17:9-10 NKJV

Honor for Life
Though obedience takes many forms through the years, believers never outgrow God’s command to honor our fathers and mothers.
“Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: Ephesians 6:2 NKJV
“Happy Mothers Day to All”
